I've been very pleased with everything I have ordered for breakfast or lunch. The best part is they have home made corn tortillas.

We were passing through one evening and pulled in. We had no expectations but were pleasantly surprised! The tortilla soup was the best I have ever had!

The waitresses were so AMAZING,The personal staff were very Respectable,The food was Delicious.We had such an Awesome time very relaxing atmosphere.We will most definitely be coming back.Thanks for the great Service.💞.

Ah yes Agave Jalisco. What more can be said about this divine eatery? Each morning I stop by for my usual sumptuous breakfast tacos typically consisting of eggs and some juicy tender meats, and perhaps some beans as well. Yes the gas kicks in later in the day, and perhaps one could say that I'll be "blowing it up" later, but these flour wrapped breakfast items truly are the work of angels. Never one to waist compliments, I dare say that this may be my favorite mexican fine dining restaurant. I'm always greeted by a fine looking fellow every morning, and I do say he is rather dashing. However, back to the topic at hand, I do believe that if you happen to be driving by and are in need of some nourishment, I'd think twice about going to their neighbors next door.

We ordered the Milanese plate ,It was delicious well prepared. We also ordered the tortilla soup with the tortilla on the side This was simply the best. Even though the small soup it was very hearty and tasty. Also the salsa with chips are very good. The salsa is a notch above most salsa every where. Also they use very fine quality coffee and it is well made since we drink our coffee black. And the beer is cold.

Wow!! I am really picky about Mexican food. This place had amazing hot sauce (hard to find), the queso was great. Homemade flour and corn tortillas. I was concerned when we got here (2:30 on a Thursday), and I smelled cleaning products but not Mexican food. Freshly cleaned bathrooms were nice though. We will be back.

Yo I took this photo of my plate after I started chowing down on it. It's called the agave plate...it was sooo good. On this night they had karaoke and it was a blast...everyone had a good time. Delicious food and cool atmosphere. I spent 18 bucks on my meal and drink....Update* went back and had the same meal and updated the phot with a full plate this time..😋

Overall this was a great experience and #42 was fantastic! The only very minor issue I had was when I was ready to leave, it took a few minutes to find the waitress to get my bill. I'll definitely return next time I'm in the area. Salsa will likely be spicier than what you'll expect if you haven't been to this area of Texas before. Personally I love it but I know that there are some that would never be able to handle it.

I ordered the Plato Texas and it was really good!!! I'm pretty sure they make their refried beans from scratch, and I'm not normally a Spanish Rice person, but they put a little spin on theirs that I really liked. The cheese enchiladas were tasty, extra sharp cheddar, I believe, but the real star of the show was the " Beef & Gravy". SUPER tender, no fat / gristle chunks!!! First time here, but when I'm passing through again, I'd definitely stop. Go getcha' some!!

So food was nothing special but expensive. The meals don't come with tortillas, that's a first for mexican restaurants we've been to. The staff was nice, but no one really checks on you. Had to flag someone down for a tortilla. Ordered a gordita and got beans and meat between two corn cakes. Pork chops are good. Pancakes on the thick side.

Waited for 15 minutes then had to go to cashier to ask if we were going to get served. They saw us come in and said to sit anywhere and eventually got menus. But saw more people come in and they served them right away. Never checked back on us and had to wait again to get to go plates. Food was amazing but the service was awful. Will not sit and eat again...

Food looked good, until I tasted it. 🙁 It didn't taste like anything, it had no flavor. Have had better food at Gringos. Service has average. Had to ask for music to be turned down. It was so loud that I thought I was at a night club and they had about 3 different songs going on at the same time. Couldn't here ourselves talking. Chairs were quite uncomfortable 😬.

Just ordered 6 crispy tacos no rice and no beans with a tea and it was $22. Kind of expensive for crispy tacos! The meat had a rare taste so just finished 2 tacos. The tea taste like it was made 2 days ago.

Service was terrible! Came in to watch basketball playoffs lots of people at the bar. Drinks served left and right by Melinda/bartender. When I asked for a drink server Idaly Gonzalez refused to serve saying only selective customers approved by Melinda and manager Viry were served after 9:45pm. Wonder what does that mean? Asked Viry and she couldn’t give an explanation. She also denied being a manager. Couldn’t get a straight answer to who the manager was, supposably Jose who is there at 6 am. Everyone was pointing fingers at each other with no intent to resolve the situation. All Melinda cared about was pulling cash out of the cash register and stuffing it into her purse. Felt like I was not a valued customer. Very poor selective service!!

They say they close at 11 at night, you arrive at 10 and they don't take your order because they've already closed since someone was at the window making an order, a waitress grabbed her head very often, I saw her all the time, the same girl delivered dishes and their hair touched the food, they need to require them to put their hair up well

The service was terriable.. The manager is a joke.. Almost EVERY ice cube in my drink melted and no one asked me for a refill.. it was the 2nd of January 2018.. This place is a joke! Don't believe the good reviews! Must be employees!

Throughout COVID we supported this business when they opened for take out only....several times. And then after they opened back up inside. Ordered #13 Carne didn't look cooked and smelled like dog food, so I sent it back order #3 just to get more uncooked food... Wouldn't recommend eating there especially cause they still charge me for plate I sent back.

Sorry about the complain but food look great when brought to me on my table service was awesome. But over price for a super laxative. All through out the night at work was in and out the restrooms. Never again will I return.

THEY ARE DISGUSTING, I requested them to NOT put lemons in my tea due to an allergy and they took it out then DUMPED THE CUP IN THE PITCHER!!! Not only that, I viewed a lady grab food with her bare hands (meanwhile she’s been touching everything around the restaurant and has NOT WASHED HER HANDS). Disgusting and will NEVER return. Hope this review find people trying to decide to eat here and changes their mind.

Carne quisada lacked flavor and spices. Ordered just bean and cheese taco and the had a burnt taste. Never will return. Suggest you sample your food before purchasing. Had been there a year ago and was good. Must be cook or what is provided to make meals.

Hell no my soup was cold and my guest ordered shrimp soup that came out looking like slop. If I get food poisoning I want you to know where I was at and where I got it. Not fit for animals.

The food was hot. But there Spanish rice no kind of spices. Now the beans were tasty. The sweet tea bland and that's because I ordered half and half.! Half lemonade and half sweet tea....gross...I won't be stopping there again... even if the meal is on them or someone else! 😢
