Best ribeye I've ever tasted. The atmosphere and people are astonishing especially the company I was with. They are regulars here. Nothing beats a great meal accompanied with laughter and a glass of wine.

Good food, good service, it has a small brewery you can check out during daytime hours. The bar has wide selection of the local beers on tap, bartender is friendly and has some interesting stories to tell. A great stop after hitting the trails in Indian Wells Canyon.
Love the trip from my home to get together with our friends. Great overlook for the Indian Wells Valley, Inyokern Airport and in the distance the great little town of Ridgecrest. The Prime Rib is generally a good choice. Best idea is to order it or your other main course with a table of the House Salad. Also ask for the 'Spicy Ginger Ale'. Almost as great as the 'Spicy Ginger Beer' that is no longer available.
On my way out to Reno we dropped by the place because of it's Yelp reviews. The place is nicely themed and the bar drinks on tap are insane (the Brew House is next door). Food was great and the service was perfect. Glad I dropped by to the Oasis in the desert.
A nice hidden gem tucked away in the High Desert. Always love the toasted marshmallow hard soda! Get there early as it fills up quickly on the weekends .
Had the most amazing steak as recommended by the server! The potato skins looked disappointing as they were bacon bits and a cheese sauce. But damn they were really tasty. Great selection of local beers available on tap and also to take away as well! Excellent service as well :)
Valentines Day was rescued! I had tried to make a reservation but initially was told they were booked but that they could let me know if they get a cancellation. I thought that wouldn’t be a likely occurrence but said it’s appreciated. Later in the same day, they called with a cancellation and I immediately accepted! We were greeted with a beautiful long stemmed rose and a small box of chocolates! Dinner menu was arranged for this day in mind, and began with appetizers (I had the shrimp cocktail...fresh & tasty), salad or soup, main course and a grand selection of desserts! I selected the Filet Mignon, it was perfectly cooked to my request of medium rare, a generous size, and so tender it practically melted in my mouth. Quite delicious!! Service was quick, we felt we were checked on just enough without feeling rushed, and overall a very lovely experience! Great night view of the valley!
Great beer and cozy atmosphere. The bar sitting area was comfy like being at home. Though I didn't eat at this visit, their food was good last time I did eat there. Also, the dining room has a nice view of the valley and mountains.

I was totally surprised, the meal was amazing, portions were small which to me is great because when you get soup ,bread and the meal and dessert at the end of the day is a lot ,a great place to get away from the hustle of the city, a great place to enjoy friends and have a conversation.

Nice family place. Good Chilli cheese fries
Great place in the middle of nowhere if you’re looking to stop along the highway for a small bite. Nothing special got some nachos with cheese and a basic hamburger. Staff was sweet. Played pinball while waiting for food. Lemonade was nice. Also a bunch of arcade games, which was awesome
Can't wait for this gem to come back to it's formal glory.
I'm planning a little trip and was thinking about stopping in for dinner so I thought I'd look at recent reviews. It seems most are from three years ago or more! I used to stop here and get the ribeye, thought it was very good, they had a great choice off beers and sodas too!

Pretty isolated unless you're already driving on the 14... Ordered fish and chips, got three pieces of fish on a pile of fries that were seasoned with seasoning salt, the fish was commercially breaded about 3 inches long with a very smooth looking batter, the ranch tasted as if it was from a store bought bottle, ordered lemon on the side, the tartar sauce was good, had iced tea with lemon.. $15 or something like that... Lots of history on the walls, a hole in the wall like setup showcasing the uniqueness of the restaurant, nice view of Ridgecrest and the valley... Family had various other items including filet mignon, chicken, baked potatoes etc.. two steak dinner for my brother and his wife was almost $70 with a side salad and baked potato. The house salad dressing is a blue cheese vinaigrette that's a little oily but good... Sounds gross but mix that house dressing with ranch and it's REALLY good. No sandwiches or wraps on the menu and unless it's steak it's pretty much deep fried.
The beer was good to great. We received above average service. However, their chicken cordon bleu was a complete disappointnent, and not worth ordering. Their kitchen used bacon bits in lieu of actual bacon on the potato skins.
It is actually pretty good for the Ridgecrest area, but my frame of reference is a little wider than that, so it suffers in comparison. I don't remember what I ordered, so I guess that's one indication that the meal wasn't memorable. Others in the party seemed to enjoy their food well enough, but again they were locals and this is one of the 'fancier' places they have access to. Hope that doesn't sound too snooty. One of the fun features is the wide-ranging choices of sodas, hard ciders, and other drinks they offer, many of which are made next door. Service was friendly. The food seemed to take overly long to arrive but that wasn't too annoying as I was enjoying the company so much.
We went on Sunday evening. I ordered the Caesar salad, requesting crispy chicken. I was refused the crispy chicken on my salad. And then the server came back to say they were out of Romaine lettuce and did I want iceberg lettuce instead. I said no thank you. I will not pay $13 for an iceberg lettuce salad. Also, their burgers don't include sliced tomato. Good food overall.

Waitress (with chewing tobacco in her upper lip) drank from my drink when I complained that it tasted like a Rum and Coke instead of plain coke. 2 hour dining experience when it was only 3 tables of people in the entire place. Steak and blueberry cheesecake were tasty, but the house salad was nasty. Iceberg lettuce and bacos are not the kind of salad I expect to come with a $30 steak. At least use real bacon sheesh. Will never return! Ale's Steakhouse is much better and better service

Not fun. Waited for a full hour for our dinner. 2 plates. Only. One was a RAW burger. And a fairly descent filet. The burger was GROSS . And it was terribly dark. So it was bit into. Yuck. They finally came back and took it, we told them to keep it. We almost left like 3 times. Our gal said they had a couple of big parties and we're playing catch up with the orders. They WERE NOT THAT BUSY. a flippin hour.

Sadly, this restaurant has gone down hill. Over priced, and small portions for the cost. Took almost an hr to bring out two $30 ribeye steak dinners. One was ordered rare, the other medium. Both came out blue rare, and mine was served in pieces..by the time the waitress came back to our table, from giggling in the kitchen, my husband was done with his meal and mine was still mooing on my plate. She offered to remake it or get me a new dish, but what would be the point now, is what I was thinking. Soo sadly, I left hungry, sad and disappointed that a childhood memory is now tarnished by bad service and undercooked, over priced food.
I'd give this place zero stars if I could . My meal was so disgusting I couldn't even finish it. What was supposed to be fantail shrimp was nothing but frozen breaded shrimp and overcooked at that. It was just a bunch of mush. I'm not one to complain or write reviews about restaurant food, but this was so bad I thought I should warn others.
