Walked in around 2pm so just after lunch rush but before dinner. Was recommended the "round up" sandwich and could not have made a better choice for a hot sandwich also tried the turkey club, if you want a cold sandwich try the club!

Was looking for a classic American diner and they didn't disappoint. Huge servings and delicious food. The onion rings were so tasty, as well as the fries and all you can eat fish and chips. All fried foods were fresh and none had any stale oil flavor, which is often an issue in out of the way diners. Great outdoor seating for us to accommodate our pup.

First Time Visiting Kernville and as soon as you drive in there it is nestled in a corner "Cheryl's Diner". They sat as down quite quickly the place was busy for saturday 12pm. We ordered a blt sandwich and a club sandwich some chili cheese frys and a shake. The food took a while to be ready but it was worth it!! The Frys were warm crispy and a bit crunchy almost like curly fries!!! Theyre ranch is home made everything was delicious!!

A wonderful diner nestled in the heart of Kernville. Plenty of seating, family friendly atmosphere and excellent customer service. The portions here are giant!!! And the food tastes great. I ordered the club sandwich and my daughter the burger, so yummy. I enjoyed a lovely lunch here with my daughter and will definitely return.

I'm a diner freak, and let me tell you, this is THE PLACE. They have it all. It's a classic diner environment with local community vibes. Every one of the staff was warm and friendly. My food was maybe 4 stars (I only had one meal mind you - eggs, hash browns, and biscuit) but it was GOOD. They kept the coffee coming, and let me stay for a while to use wifi. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the Valley!

First time here, and loved the environment. Everyone was extremely friendly, and welcoming. Food was delicious. And we were able to bring our dog with us, and be served on the patio.

Such a cool and funky place to eat. Staff are so welcoming and funny, food service is really quick, under 10 mins!!! The quality of food is not bad actually, I had the best Egg Benedict in California so far, also the venue is clean and has outdoor section as well, and a parking structure. Prices are affordable and cheap comparing with the neighboring venues, and they have various options and also kids’ menu as well. I’d come here again for sure.

The service was good. They were very busy but we received our food in a timely manner. The biscuits and gravy were OK, one of the biscuits was kind of burnt and gravy was warm, not hot. The eggs and hash browns were very good, however, the sausage links tasted like they were microwaved. The pancakes were light and delicious, but they are served with little tiny butters that take awhile to open.

Food was okay, but the dirty silverware and pretty poor service kind of killed the vibe. Also wasn’t a fan of how aggressive the tip prompt felt when paying the check.

It was super busy so I'll probably go back some other time to see if its any better but both mine and my partners food was burnt and under seasoned, and the servers took forever to initially come take our order.

Vibe of this place is what you expect a classic old school Americana diner in the forest. However- that being said it was slow. Service was slow, only Cheryl was working it seemed like and she may have gotten slightly overwhelmed but when she was at our table she did try to give the best service. As far as the food... All 4 of our dishes seemed like they barely touched the stove & no seasoning was spotted in any of the dishes. The gravy? Bland. The eggs Benedict? Bland. The pies? Crust seemed underdone. The coffee was very watered down. It wasn't worth the price imo as most of us spent over $20 per meal for very... Mediocre breakfast. Over all- we visit the area every year and this was the 1st year trying this spot... Probably won't be back.

Don't order breakfast...it was awful. I don't think the cook was trained at all. The eggs, sausage and potatoes were barely cooked and not edible. The biscuits and gravy also gross. We had 1 pancake that was ok...that's it! Maybe the lunch menu could have been a better choice 🤔
