I had a great meal here, although I was not sure what to expect as it is in a hotel. This is a Geneva National restaurant, and their other offerings are great, so this did not disappoint. The drink selection was impressive, lots of fun options like an Aperol flight, also wine, and unique martinis. The food was good, I was happy with the pizza, although I did order a gluten-free pie. In total, I tried the banana pepper calamari, pasta with meatballs, gluten-free pizza with Copa and a gelato to end the meal. While I chose to sit in the bar area, the view in the main room is beautiful, overlooking the property and Lake Como.
David, the manager. Was very professional with a warming welcoming. Sedona, the server, Always had a smile in her face. Making the experience so much better. First time, eating here and it did not disappoint. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend. I can't say enough good things about this place.
My husband and I had an impromptu date night and it was perfect. The spritz trio, mussels (creamy version), pizzas were all wonderful and we even caught the start of the live music for the night (Friday).
I got to enjoy my birthday in a giant snow globe!! It was so much fun and highly recommended. It was very warm in there and much larger, cozier and fancier than the igloos at some other restaurants. We had appetizers, drinks, entrees and deserts and everything was delicious. Our server was also so sweet and made our time extremely enjoyable!
I really enjoyed it here, first in the igloos, and then in the restaurant. I had the trout, which I recommend highly. Some of my table mates ordered pasta and loved it. And we especially liked dessert! The service was excellent and the whole atmosphere was wonderful. The live music really added to the vibe.
Surprisingly beautiful view and very swanky decor. Staff was very good and paid attention to little details... Especially enjoyed our server, Frida! She was fun yet professional and very accommodating. Food was amazing, we got 2 bottles of an incredible wine she recommended and after dinner went out back to view the beautifully lit landscape and fire pit...We will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful group dinner celebrating a friends birthday last week & the Crafted Italia team did a great job! Our server, Marina, was outstanding & so attentive to our group of 20+ people -- no easy task! Food and drinks were top notch & careful attention was made to allergies and dietary restrictions. The holiday pop bar was the perfect way to kick off the night with some festive themed drinks - that made it feel like we were in a Chicago holiday bar! A definite must for your holiday list at the lake.
First when you walk in the dining room is very sleek modern looking but comforting at the same time. The attentive staff directed us to the bartender Annie who I must say is just lovely, profesional, and overall a fantastic host. She made a excellent wine recommendation, was very attentive and caring throughout the night. We started with a meatball appetizer served over a saffron risotto that was amazingly flavorful. For dinner we tried the delicious handmade Lobster ravioli which is completely worth the return trip for that dish alone! For anyone who's looking for a great meal in a lovely atmosphere and Lakeview is without all the hassle of being downtown Lake Geneva I would highly recommend Crafted Italiana
You must go to see the recently renovated Ridge Hotel and dine in their awesome restaurant. I went during Lake Geneva Restaurant Week and enjoyed fried cheese curds and a tasty steak salad for only $10!
A great place for great food, a wonderful view, & good people! From pizza to steak, their menu is fabulous! They also have themed nights & music. Highly recommend!
Good food, good atmosphere, and great service. Thank you Ethan for making us feel welcomed! Very nice view of Lake Como too.
Enticing menu, Wonderful staff, well crafted beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), meals were delicious and creative
It was the best meal we had the whole stay!
Certainly for the younger 20-40 crowd. Hard to rate as a family restaurant but we made it work. Definitely, $$, children menu. We ordered the salmon, salad, calamari, pizza, spaghetti, local brewed and sweet drinks. We loved it. The ambient is borderline luxury. We stayed in the lodged so repeat business for several days. The view is worth eating in the restaurant.
Enjoyed the Chicken Cacciatore very much. The service was excellent and the views were spectacular. Many thanks to the Crafted Italia general manager Nick Prudhomme, for the beautiful dining experience. He made sure everything was perfect and upgraded our dessert with a delicious flourless chocolate cake. Also behind the bar was a very pleasant individual name Liv. She greeted with a big smile and was very friendly. Service was also excellent here. 5 Stars for Crafted Italia and we will return!
I came here on a Monday for trivia. I sat at the bar and had a great time. The bartender Kayla was fantastic. She was so nice and very personable. She made me a Maple Manhattan that was out of this world. I ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was great, the hot honey really made the pizza unforgettable. Even though I didn't do so well at trivia I will return for the fun time and atmosphere.
Incredible food, but even better service from Marina. If you go and you’re lucky enough to have her as your service professional you’ll surely have an amazing experience.
Came for a birthday dinner !! Laura, was great at the bar ! The filet was cooked to perfection!!
Pricey? Yes but we experienced fresh prepared dishes that were worth the money spent. The view is magnificent on sunset. The fish was delicious, the pizza was excellent, the soup, salad all worth it.
All around fabulous experience. Food was fantastic and service from bartenders and server was very attentive and spot on. The Italian dishes and pizza were both enjoyed and are my go to menu choices. A must stop restaurant when in Lake Geneva.
I was working late and wanted something quick. Popped in placed a to-go order. It looked busy with an event but the hostesses and kitchen got me my food quickly and I had a nice conversation with the hostesses while I was waiting. My food was sooo delicious, definitely going back.
We had a wonderful dinner! Beautiful restaurant with nice view. Great service! Was extra special when they brought out a dessert with lit candle for our sons 19th! Thank you!
Great service. Great food. Great atmosphere. 10’s across the board!!! Shoutout to Kayla (server) and Lily (manager) for the wonderful hospitality. We came two nights in a row and weren’t disappointed. Great place to spend Valentine’s Day weekend.
Nice place and food was great. Cost is high, but good for special occasion. Good hospitality and lovely facility.
The Crafted snow globes are an absolute gem. The atmosphere was warm, cozy, and beautifully curated, and the snow globes added such a fun, memorable touch for both us and the kids. The food and drinks were incredible, but what truly made the night was our waitress, Liv. She was friendly, attentive, genuinely kind, and amazing with the kids, patient, engaging, and welcoming. Between the most delicious pizzas, (we loved the National and Pepperoni with hot honey the best!) the unique snow globe experience, and Liv’s outstanding service, this was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Lake Geneva. We will definitely be back and recommending Crafted and the snow globes to everyone we know!
We had a great meal and service was excellent. We had lobster ravioli with vodka sauce, prime rib gnocchi, and chicken parmigiano. The ravioli was rich without being heavy. Gnocchi was good maybe would have liked a little more prime rib. We will go back especially to try the short ribs. They looked amazing.
Prime rib Gnocchi was delish. A little too salty for me. An then the faroe salmon was delish!
Food was ok. Lettuce in the salad was sad. The pasta was cold when it arrived. It also had mozzarella balls that didnt seem to fit.
A very nice looking place with a view of Lake Como. Had a few of their craft cocktails, and everyone loved their meal choice except 1. Only issue was with a very young staff, sometimes not enough exp. To handle any issues that come up. We told the waiter about an issue and he just smiled and said sorry about that, instead of offering to get a mgr or bring it back to the kitchen. Shame, because all was good and that 1 person would probably not come back due to that exp.
Great place very easy vibe. In the ridge hotel facing water. Good food. Had prime rib and pizza. Nice small menu done very well. Very clean . Cute outdoor area with igloos.,very nicely decorated.
Great setting overlooking Lake Como, I recommend sitting by the windows👍great food, had lobster ravioli, spaghetti and meatballs, muscles, and a pizza. All were quick, hot, and delicious 😋 Erin our server was on point well done Crafted 👏
They aim to please. Salad, steak and ribs were great! Service was a little slow because they got busy.
Limited menu, short on the expected/standard Italian dishes but what we ate was delicious. Superb Chicken Marsala, NOT the sweet Marsala version, with perfectly cooked chicken breast & lots of mushrooms. Chef willingly substituted shrimp (instead of scallops which I can't eat) in the risotto dish. Had a slight bit of heat to it but it was wonderful. You think your GPS is lying to you as it tells you to make a turn into a private drive & head down it a little way before it directs you to a largest building. It's a restaurant attached to the Hotel Ridge (about which I was unaware). Great views, too!
Great restaurant for dinner. The atmosphere is upscale and looks like it may have nice scenery in the daytime. The food overall was good. I had the porcini crusted filet which was excellent. Overall this place is a good choice for a nicer dinner.
Food was outstanding. We were seated next to a group of 14 old-timers, all shouting to communicate. Couldn't hear our own conversation.
We were seated at a corner window table that had a fly problem. We killed 4 flies during the dining experience. Food was mediocre and meatballs arrived cold.
Good food and great cocktails. Only thing that was sub par was the table service Our waiter couldn't be bothered to show up to our table for 20 minutes. He only had 4 other tables that we could see and this was a Tuesday. The food order took almost 30 minutes and then another waitstaff finally brought our entrees. When the waiter finally showed up, we asked for some wine with the meal. He brought the wine as we were finishing our meal. The food was great and the view of the lake was lovely. Just wished the service could have been better.
We had a reservation for Valentine’s Day dinner and this was our first time at Crafted Italia. Over all I’d say our experience was just ok. We ordered the bread service which was good although, for the price of your meal, I really think they could at least offer you a little bread without having to order it off of the appetizer menu. My husband ordered the Gamberi Calabresi (gulf shrimp in cream sauce) and I ordered the Lobster Ravioli. My husband’s dish came out and it was SO spicy. No where in the description does it say that this cream sauce is spicy and you really shouldn’t have to Google something to figure out the menu. He ended up sending it back and ordering the Mushroom Risotto which was good. My lobster ravioli was good…not the best I’ve had but good but definitely could have been a little warmer. For dessert we ordered the “Limencello Cake” which came out as a slice of lemon cheesecake with a raspberry drizzle and whipped cream. Absolutely nothing like the menu described but when I asked our waitress if what we got was what was on the menu she said “yes”. I didn’t argue the point and we enjoyed the dessert but wouldn’t have ordered it if the menu actually said it was cheesecake. In looking at previous reviews, I see that another guest posted a picture of the menus and on that dessert menu was “limoncello cheesecake”. They really need to revisit who is creating, editing and printing their menus in my opinion and actually serve you what is on the menu. On the plus side, our waitress Kayla was very nice and attentive. So overall, I wouldn’t say it was our best Italian restaurant dining experience however I’d be willing to give them another try.
They don't serve the whole menu during the week -- or was it due to the rehab project? -- and they didn't have multiple things on the limited menu. I can only review the experience I had. The wine was great, the caesar salad was very good. The lobster ravioli didn't taste like much. I think my dining companions liked their Branzino. The wait person was excellent. Prices seemed aggressive: $24 for 6 tiny bruschetta. To me, three stars means I would give them another chance, but for the money I can't recommend. The view was pretty. Someone was trying their best given difficult circumstances.
My partner ordered Branzino. It was dry and tasted fishy—a sign it was not fresh. My chicken Parmesan was very bland. Service was very slow. Considering the resort facility and the price we expected far better.
Great ambience and atmosphere- the food was trash. The shrimp in my Vodka pasta dish was nasty - tasted like frozen Walmart quality. My wife had the fish fry - half her plate went into the trash- shameful. The waiter was nice - but was thinking we’d need to put out a missing person alert for him as he was MIA for much of the meal. Won’t be back anytime soon. Just praying this shrimp doesn’t give me uncontrollable bowel movements.
Ordered right open for on Uber eats For three people. The order was delivered. Three items were missing, two item were wrong. Two of the three main courses were not there. Submitted The claim on Uber eats and received the refund for the items missing. Immediately re-ordered the missing and incorrect items. The delivery occurred about an hour later. Two of the four re-ordered items were missing. Everything else we received was a tiny portion and very expensive. Trying to figure out why I didn’t just order Gino’s East. At this point, we’ve spent $20 in tips and $20 in service fees and only one of us has a dinner and it’s a pathetic. Sad little dinner. Crafted is doing a lot of communications right now about how they are available on Uber eats and DoorDash. May I suggest that you take that off of your options until you are able to handle either the volume or the complexities of to go orders? At the end of the evening, I’ve spent over $120 even after the refunds and we are incredibly unsatisfied
Mother’s Day Brunch was a disappointment. We sat down and the waitress told us where the coffee was. It was a buffet and all of this is fine except for the part where they put a $54.00 tip on our bill for 4 people who waited on themselves. The total bill was $340. I am a good tipper but not for something where they didn’t even bring the coffee. No wonder the room was empty.
Where to begin....We made Thanksgiving reservations to try the Thanksgiving Buffet. Came in at our scheduled time and we're promptly seated. The selection was plentifully and the food overall was very tasty. Biggest complaint and the reason for 2 stars is if I'm paying $60 per person, I would expect the food to be hot. It was not. Some dishes were warm( mashed potatoes, beef) however the carving station food was cold and the ham was nothing but scraps. It wasn't until the last hour of the buffet that everything was replenished and came out hot. A little too late since we had already served ourselves. Very disappointed. 2nd was the pricing. I don't understand how they can charge $60 for an 11 yr old child that only ate a quarter of the plate. The age should be changed to 8-12 yrs old charged child price $20 per child considering they don't eat that much. Lastly, I find it presumptuous and pretty ridiculous that gratuity is automatically added at 20% for a buffet style meal. I mean we did go and get our own plates, we served our own dessert and coffee, so why am I forced to pay a server to pick up my plates and bring me 4 glasses of water??? Overall, I'm sure if we went on another occasion to have a regular meal the experience might be better. But this experience was very very disappointing for the price we paid and the minimal service received. Be aware of what to expect for the Thanksgiving Buffet.
Scummiest restaurant in lake Geneva. Menu said charcuterie board was $16. Apparently that is PER PERSON. For our table of four, a small charcuterie board was $64. Prices at this place have gone up tenfold in the past year or so, I highly recommend literally anywhere else to not break your bank.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Crafted Italia. We ordered food to our room on July 27 and when it arrived, I was honestly shocked. The spaghetti was completely plain, stuck together, and had no sauce at all — it looked like leftovers rather than a proper dish. To make things worse, no utensils were provided. Coke in plastic cup for $5, seriously? Small pizza for $17? For the high price we paid, we expected much better quality and service. This was a very upsetting experience and truly ruined our evening. I hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements.
Same experience as others in NYE. Almost 3 hours to get our food in a pre selected menu. Everyone leaving without eating, no explanation and very expensive. We had very little time to enjoy the activity downstairs which I think was better than eating in the restaurant. If they plan to do NYE next time maybe they should only focus on the main ballroom activity and forget the restaurant. Having a nice buffet and music in the ballroom with music and maybe activities for the kids is a better plan than the 4 course meal in the restaurant that was a disaster. People just want to enjoy the last night of the year instead of having the worst dinner ever.
Came for New Years Eve, and I have to say this was by far the worst New Year’s Eve experience I’ve ever had. To start, it took us over 30 minutes after our reservation time to get sat, didn’t get drinks until almost an hour after our reservation began. First course not for another hour. We finally got our main course around 11pm (2.5 hours after our reservation began) and one steak was raw, the other was beyond well done. We sent the food back, paid, and left hungry. Our server was doing their best, but the event was clearly oversold, and the kitchen very overwhelmed. This was all-around a very poorly organized and executed event. We did go to the party downstairs after, the band was great. Just wish we would’ve been able to eat within a reasonable amount of time (or at all) so we could have enjoyed the party more. Super disappointing evening, and not the way we had hoped to ring in 2025.
We were there for dinner last night, NYE. The place was packed. There was a pre fixe menu, with a few choices for appetizer, salad, main course and dessert. It took 3 HOURS for us to get our meal. And this was happening to everyone. The majority of people there got up and left. It was a complete disaster. The food was mediocre and was not hot but rather lukewarm, which begs the question- when was it made and why was it apparently sitting there getting cold? The poor waitstaff was completely frazzled, one waitress in tears. They could not explain to anyone what was going on or what the extreme delay was about. No manager came around to explain or apologize either. Everyone’s meals should’ve been heavily discounted after this fiasco. The whole thing was so bizarre. I would never, ever come back here.
This was the most disappointing Valentine’s Day dinner I have had in the Lake Geneva area. I made my reservation two months in advance. When we go check into the restaurant they seat us in the bar, where they were seating people with no reservations. I asked for a different table and was told they over booked and some people asked for a window, which I believe I also did on my original reservation. My romantic Valentine’s Day dinner was spent facing a loud bar with tv’s on and watching other people getting seated in the main dining area, and people without reservations getting seated around me. Sadly so disappointing! We ordered garlic bread and someone came around to pack it up before we even received our main meals. It was as if they were trying to get us to leave quickly. The espresso martini was flavorful less which was a shock for a place that supposedly specializes in craft cocktails. It said it had espresso in it, but it definitely did not! I ordered Gamberi Calabresi which is known to have some spice, but was so spicy I couldn’t even eat it. Save your time and money and skip this restaurant!
