Sonic in Lampasa, you are a traveler's dream. You don't just have bathrooms to be entered from the outside, you have a DESIGNATED woman's bathroom with safety bars! They put more cherry in their cherry lime sprite than Cove Sonic, and that alone is almost worth the 25 minute drive. I'm editing my review to add that I think it is so so so cool that you have a carhop who skates out with your order!

Everyday stop while at college. I got a coffee at the Lampasas one like I usually do in college and didn't taste right. fixed the order and were very professional and generous about it

I took my family here on Halloween for the 50 cent corn dogs. We ended up ordering 16 corn dogs and there were no problems. They had our order out rather quickly given the size of the order. Thank you Kelsey for your friendly service!!

I don't typically review Sonic locations but this one went above and beyond. My food and drink tasted great and the staff was very friendly. I ate my order in the stall and to my surprise a carhop was walking around offering condiments!!! I wish the Sonic drive-throughs in Houston were this good! Kudos to the staff!

I was traveling and showed up five minutes before closing time. The friendly staff took my order and prepared it like it was ordered two hours earlier. The service and food was excellent. Stop by for a good burger or coney. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome indulgence yall!! Cant eat like this everyday because its not the best as far as having healthy options but its definitely worth the extra calories with all the different options to chose from. I love the Cherry limeade with extra cherry syrup to give it a kick. Something about adding cherry to a soda that really makes it all the better, even a regular cherry coke and add cherry. You can even do cherry vanilla drpepper with real cherries at the bottom like a prize for success or even strawberry chunks etc.. heck or have it slushed even.. get creative at Happy hour 1/2 pri ed drinks to expand your world a bit.. the possibilities are endless!

Who doesn't like Sonic? I remember working with my grandmother and grandfather throughout my summer breaks from school, and they would stop at the local sonic and purchase the Brown Bag Special for our lunch (two burgers, two fries, two drinks) for $4.99 (back then). lol I always enjoy a cherry coke from Sonic today, and pretty much anything on their menu. I am not a picky person, and after being a mother of four and foster mother of three....I just love that someone else is cooking for me, and there are no dishes to be washed afterwards! ;o)

Happy hour is the greatest especially when you're thirsty. Food is always good and the staff are always wonderful. They let our Scouts do fundraisers here they're very community-oriented

Fast service. Hot food. And great taste. I was very pleased. And you have to try there New York style hot dog...I dont like hot dogs but wanted to try something different and it was well worth trying. Believe I'll have another the next time I stop.

Sonic is not a place I usually eat. But I will definitely visit this location in Lampasas again. I used the parking places facing away from the building and they were narrow, so use caution pulling in. As a family of six, a fast food order is sometimes met with frustration. Not this day. The young man that took the order was so polite and efficient at ensuring any changes or special requests were correct. The food was delivered quickly by a carhop who was also very polite. He ensured we had all we needed and verified all items. This was a very nice fast food experience. I hope this service is a true reflection of management/ownership.

This visit was a bit of a disappointment. My burger was stone cold and the cheese was not even melted. This on a Saturday afternoon and they were not very busy. Previous experience here was great, hopefully the next visit they will redeem themselves.

Sonic Really needs to update the music that plays on the "Sonic radio" It does not match the experience of the drive-in I personally will not sit on the patio with children due to the music. Other than that, Lampasas Sonic has the best management and some of the friendliest carhops you will meet.

This Sonic made the best Sonic grilled cheese I’ve ever had. I’ve been ordering Sonic grilled cheeses since I was a wee lass and this was by far the best I’ve had in my entire life from the franchise. It was perfectly grilled and had the perfect amount of gooey cheese. To whoever made this sandwich - I will be back on my next roadtrip.

We stopped by for lunch and viewing of the eclipse. Was a great time with exceptional service and staff. We wound up getting so excited we left our car on and it died but the staff helped jump it off and get us back on the road! Definitely would recommend a stop!

The Lampsas Sonic is just the best Sonic around. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. We rode Recumbent trikes from Copperas Cove. So after 26 miles Sonic was a treat. They kept checking in on us while we enjoyed our food. They have a nice outdoor eating area where we can park the trikes and enjoy our food. We've been visiting of and on for the last few years and will keep riding the long distance to keep eating there.

Had such great service that I had to leave a review. One employee (manager/cook) came out with the carhop to let me know that my daughter's chicken strips (kid's meal) came out looking odd and he didn't feel comfortable serving them, so he decided to cook some others. Those came out odd as well and since we had been waiting about 10 minutes, he decided to make her some popcorn chicken (which you can't even get with a kids meal). On top of the consideration for my family, our time, and our convenience they also gave us a coupon. If these employees are working while you come through, you are in great hands!

Love Sonic, but I asked about the specials and they knew nothing about them. I got home and sure enough, on the TV, Sonic slider and tots for $2.99! Businesses should know the specials that are available.

Always like to stop in a Sonic especially in same towns. The staff in the Lampasas one was very nice. Food was out fast and hot.

Food was good as always. The only issue is their texas toast is not the thick slice bread. So if you're ordering a sandwich on Texas toast expect the same toasted bread that you can make at home.

The food is always good at this storms. You may catch a one off bad day, but it doesn't happen often enough for me to even remember the last one..... Sonic is by no means my favorite drive in, but this location is one to set the bar in my honest opinion.

Normally when i I get Sonic cheeseburger, from Lampasas location they are just on point very good and the car hops bring your order out pretty fast. However the last 2x I've ordered cherry limeade, there hasn't been cherries in them and the app shows that they come with them. Needless to say I was disappointed with that. I once again go just to not get any cherries with my limeade.

Just passing thru...parking lot was clean...the stalls here are not like what I'm use too. Wasn't a fan of having them walk up behind me and serve me from behind. Friendly our order was right. My LG coke with real Cherry's not cherry juice could have had more in it. But that is at any Sonic I go to anymore. You ask for real Cherry's pay extra (15-25 cents extra) for them. I would think I could get maybe 3 at least and then if I want more to be asked to pay more. How much do y'all make on a jar of Cherry's at 15 cent or more a piece? Other than that wasn't there long enough for anything else to happen.

The food we got took a very long time, but they gave us two free shakes and a discounted French toast. The reason it took a long time is because there was 3 events going on during the same time. Good service otherwise.

1/2 priced burgers on Tuesday nights. I had to drive from the Burnet because you cannot place a order on the phone there. Lampasas Sonic is great !!! Burnet Sonic is terrible !!

My friend and I used the drive-thru and didn't have to wait very long for our order to be taken but it took an extra long time before we received our order( a 4 piece mozzarella sticks and an ice tea). Both items were first class quality, though. The mozzarella sticks tasted freshly made and were hot. The ice tea tasted fresh and had lots of ice in it, as well. It'll be our 'go-to' stop on our next time through Lampasas.

Sonic is the place to go when eating quick on the go.. My visit March 6, 2023 around 7pm took a bit longer than I expected to receive my order. The waitress apologized about the wait even though we didn't mention anything and gave us a coupon for free corn dogs.. Ok, no biggie.. From placing order to getting food was a bit over 20 minutes, which is highly unusual for a Sonic. In their defense, they looked to be especially busy. This location in Lampasas has a drive through as well and I think that's what severely overloaded the. Along with a full patio and most car stalls filled.

Typical Sonic food. Poor quality meat makes the hamburger taste off. Breakfast toaster sandwich is the better choice.

It was the same as usual. I stopped in to get treats for my 4 legged babies. They love the chicken tenders and the server gave them dog treats.

It's a sonic so the food is alright, drinks are fun. There is sometimes a wait here but they are good about giving out free drink tokens and apologies which doesn't fix the wait time but kinda takes away your anger. Can't frown with a straw in your mouth! 😂

Service was ok, had to ask for napkins and straws which kinda seem like a basic necessity for in-car dining. Drinks are amazing as always, but none of the hot dog based food is worth consuming. 6/5 stars for drinks, will always go to sonic when I'm needing a RT44 but can't eat here.

I've never been disappointed with Sonic, until tonight. I asked for the combo #1 (cheeseburger, side and a drink) with mustard and no cheese and no tomatoes. 3 times the girl repeated back to me wrong and kept saying "with ketchup and mayo", and 3 times I repeated my original request. What I got was a cold mustard burger WITH CHEESE, lettuce, nasty tasting pickles, and no onion. I later learned through the website that the Sonic burgers now come with ketchup and mayo sauce and "fresh" pickles. Why do our classic burger joints keep trying to be like "the other guys"? If a wanted "special sauce on my burger, I'd go to McDonald's and if I wanted "fresh" pickles, I'd go to Burger King. Come on, Sonic! Stick to mustard or mayo burgers and sliced hamburger fill pickles! Please!

It was ok, im mean it's sonic. Cheese sticks are decent. I was so hungry on a 6 hour roadtrip home w my dogs no less. Corn dogs were good. I liked them even though most went to the puppers pictured below (they liked them too) The food was served hot!! Major plus. Happy eating or eh

Hard to mess up popcorn chicken, drink and tots. I used the app, but as a result I could not add country gravy as a "dipping sauce" because it is not on the app and it costs $0.50 extra. This seems unfair, but I am a traditionalist and chicken & gravy is a natural combination. Without gravy, the chicken is good enough but a bit dry. As I say, hard to mess up the simple stuff.

I made an app order tonight and was supposed to pick up at 730ish... I decided to run an errand to give them time to make the order with out a rush and checked in about 5 til 8 in stall 2 to b exact... Car hopper saw when I drove up so she knew I was there especially since she walked by us 3-4 times before another girl who walked by to give an order to another customer came by and asked if my order was put in under (my name) and I said yes... I asked if it was ready cuz I had checked in and sat there over 15-20 minutes with absolutely noone else there in the parking lot... Then the girl that walked by 3 times finally brought the order out and I showed her I had checked in and told her I didn't understand how she didn't know I was there when she had passed by 3 times and all she had to say was "my bad"... Like wow.... The food is always good but tonight the service was horrible...

It never fails every time I go in the evening time there will only be a couple vehicles (4 at most) and yet it take FOREVER to get my order....smh. Food is ok nothing that really stands out but decent.

Ordered my Super Sonic Bacon Cheese burger meal after a long day at work, and drove home to Kempner. Opened, and took a bite of my burger, it had no bacon or tomatoes.

It took 5 times for employee on the phone to get our order right. Seems to have kids running he place. Only good thing was the food was good and the carhop was very nice.

Not much to say except the Lampasas location was not working with the App and we couldn't get anyone to answer over the speaker so we could order. I won't give it one star because it was the night of the Spring Ho fireworks and they we really busy.

I ordered a cherry limeade and was made to wait beyond the drive thru window for 10 minutes, no disrespect but this is why high schools should not run businesses. It was one medium cherry limeade

Next to freeway exit with noisy traffic, making it hard to order. Then the pay from the order kiosk was not working. Sonic is not able to get all of their supplies, like most stores. So some items we wanted were not available. Staff were short so the drive through line was wrapped around the store and into the off ramp.

I really don't understand why Sonic can't come out with a chocolate ice cream like y'all have a chocolate brownie fudge ice cream but it's in vanilla not chocolate weird I guess if I want chocolate ice cream I can go to storms. And also literally it barley had any brownie pieces in it just chocolate flakes?

Worst sonic I've ever been to. Tea tasted like water, burger was like chewing on a rubbery sausage and enough mustard to choke a horse.

The pickle fries tore my gut up! Thanks for the concern. I'm pretty sure this has escalated as far as it can. Unless Sonic can time travel and stop me from ordering pickle fries on that fateful day, I don't really see an avenue of help coming from Sonic.

Went in about 9:30 Thursday night, The 4th of July. My old man had a super Sonic double cheese burger that was drowning in Mustard, he wiped most of it off but mustard is all that he tasted and his route 44 coke only had three pieces of ice. I had the jumbo popcorn chicken an it was awful, slightly warm, hard and dry and my fries were cold. So all that was good was 2 shakes and a order of onion rings. Over All A Really Expensive Trash Can Toss!

Sonic used to be a fav in high school but both in town tend to have slacked on quality. I worked there in high school so it's easy to know when food is fresh and how it's supposed to be. Fries and tots tend to be reheated. Usually heavily salted probably from resalting after dumping in fryer to reheat then back in warmer . Burgers cold and sloppy. Chicken is usually even worse choice. Onions rings can be a safe bet but they are almost always, or at least when I worked there, cooked fresh. For a long time I thought working there ruined it for me but we've stopped at the one in granbury a few times and the food is like I remember in high school.

Don't park in the stalls without a push button or they'll forget about you. World's smallest chicken tenders. If this is what you call premium chicken tenders I'd hate to see the regular ones.

It took 46 minutes tonight to get my order. Ordered at 6:44, drove off at 7:15. Burger was dry and tasteless at that point.

Ordered a large cherry limeade, medium brownie batter shake and two apple juice boxes took 45 mins to get and they brought a cake batter instead of a brownie batter saying that is what i ordered and wouldnt offer to refund or to remake so i had to order a separate shake which took almost another 30 mins by this time im irritated and wanted to speak to a manager on duty and she couldnt be located at all by her staff after they went and looked for her for 5 mins

We waited 20 minutes for two drinks. They lost our order. We were compensated with 2 expired .99 drink vouchers.

Workers were testing positive for Covid-19, they never closed and cleaned. It was readily stated that making money was more important than letting the public know they were spreading the virus. They never required (nor asked) the rest of the employees to get tested. As a matter of fact, the employees were kept out if the loop until managers were not going to work and finally they gave in and said they had Covid-19. Minimum 5 Sonic employees tested positive. Per current laws they don't need to make it public, but I will be taking my money elsewhere. Employees and customers should be priority, not filling their selfish pockets with money.

No matter what I order I always say no cheese and it always comes with cheese! First I was told I need to say no cheese at the beginning of order yet I still get it. When ever I drive back to get it fixed I'm told we are sorry, but if it happens to me it happens to others. Be careful what you order and check ur order before you leave...

The Confederate flag is posted on employees vehicle in parking lot. The sticker is a symbol of hate and no business should profit from this symbol. Boycott Sonic. Service gets slower on a daily basis. Poor management and owner doesn't seem to care about his customers. Worst fast-food place in Lampasas Texas.

We went through the drive through and order 2 simple ice cream treats. After pulling up to where we were supposed to be, we watch the four vehicles in line behind us get their food. After sitting there for about twenty minutes, we finally left. They obviously didn’t want our business. Worst service ever.

Service is very slow and attention to detail in getting order correct is lacking. Second time in three weeks they messed up a simple order. Just finished ordering a chicken sandwich without mayo, tots, large sweet tea, & cheese sticks. They put mayo on sandwich, gave me a medium unsweet tea, and it order took over 15 minutes.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced at any sonic. Waited 20 min just to order while watching others come and go. Made us very late to our destination. No compensation or even an apology for the wait. I’ve had other Sonics give coupons and drink chips for much less.

The store was fine and the people are friendly. My issue is with the APP which is never user friendly. When people are trying to place a mobile order in a hurry the last thing they need is an APP that requires too many variables to work for you.

This rating is for the owner of the establishment. I am a consistent customer and for the last 3 months or so, your computer screens have failed to allow me to tip you're deserving employees. Your employees are being robbed of what's rightfully theirs. The lack of attention from the ownership and management makes me sick my business elsewhere. Please address this issue immediate. And after doing research this is in direct violation with the Texas Workforce Commission of withholding tips from employees. And if not addressed I will present each of your employees with the proper paperwork to report these actions

The absolute worst Sonic we have been to. Tried to get an order corrected and it was wrong twice more. The waitress was more concerned about what was going on with her phone then our order. We politely asked to speak to the manager and was told there was not one and another young man came out and still got the order wrong...at that point it was probably on purpose.
