There was a young man small with curly hair working around 3pm 8/13/24. He was working his tail off and being very attentive. His coworker seem disconnected and didn’t call out people’s ready orders. The curly hair young man was all over the place and made sure the order just sitting on the counter got to the correct customer. I really wish I had gotten his name. He was doing a great job.
My drink is a little "extra" but they always make it perfect every time! They're always so sweet and full of smiles no matter who I get, making small chat at the window while I pay. It's a rare treat but it's always the highlight of my day when I get to visit this Starbucks!! Love the staff and my oh so yummy blonde latte with ristretto shot, vanilla, classic and hazelnut!

Our drinks were very good they seemed understaffed a bit but Courtnie made sure to make time to call out the silly name of Chicken Beef Turkey that my son had chosen for the order name, I think that is absolutely great customer service

Thank you! You guys really made me feel that I was important to you as a customer, after the ordeal my family an I have gone through 5/22 The F2 tornado in Belton Tx. The Latte was I needed after the devastating situation we encountered, coming to work to some kind of normality was nice. Again Thank you and I missed all of yall smiling faces.

Dropped a protein box all over the ground and felt so awful; there was a lady, maybe in her 30s or so with a rainbow hair scarf that made me feel okay about it and I really appreciated that. Thanks for being kind :)

We went yesterday morning and the wait was definitely longer than it should've been but the lady who gave us our drinks apologized and gave us coupons for our next purchase. I wish I got her name because she went above and beyond!
I had to share after reading all the negative reviews. Yes, sometimes places are a hit & miss- however I had a great experience, even though it was in 2023. I also have been there in recent times to grab a coffee but I don't go here a whole lot. Here's my story, my husband was in the hospital during Thanksgiving. I stayed in the hospital room with him overnight. I called Starbucks to see if they were open. I said to the young man on the phone, Oh I was wondering if you were open today, being it Thanksgiving . I said, my husband is in the hospital here in town and I just wanted to grab us some coffee & thankfully y'all are open, this is not my normal! He asked, So your husband is in the hospital? And I said, yes he is. He's been there about 6 days. And he said tell me your name, and when you get here, the coffee is on me. 🥹 Honestly, it made my day. Thank you Starbucks Lampasas 🩷
Finally! I’m always running errands in Lampasas and never could get my mango dragon fruit lemonade until now! Nice building nice indoor and outdoor seating and all the employees seem very friendly. And my drink is amazing!

Hell, everyone was top notch today and every time we’ve come!! Coffee is always consistently made, food is hot and fresh, everyone is happy to greet the folks that walk in. I wish all Starbucks could be this good!

I mobile order in when I'm about 2 miles out. It usually ready unless it lunch time or just after work. Sometimes weekends can be busy as well.
Driving late traveling and stopped in after almost falling asleep at the wheel & Larie was the sweetest, funniest, & best cure ever to get re-energized to make it back on the road again!! She is a gem & such a people person!! Starbucks, you have the kindest & most valuable asset around in Larie! She suggested a great drink to replace my long lost toffee nut flavor that is long gone. 1 million stars out of 5!!!

Ever since getting more new staff they are finally making my drink right again. There was a period of a few months where every time my drink incorrect. If you had the same problem, try them again now!
Very clean store, fast friendly service. Only complaint menu items not always available and no boboa straws for drinks. Frustrating when I'm buying for grandchildren and they don't understand why they sold the drink but they can't get the goodies in the cup without making a huge mess. Feel like it should have be posted on the app so could order a different drink.
Bought wife a hot chocolate and a breakfast bun....she enjoyed it....can't give 5s, bc price is just too crazy. Service was very nice, but still a little cold. Atmosphere was ok

Got there and they closed at 4 pm because of the weather. Not even the drive thur and there were cars waiting.
I buy a Venti Black Tea. Apparently you can’t find a phone number for the store so here is my review. The past 2 times my tea is weak and taste like strawberries. I loved the black tea when they first opened. Now not so much.
The staff was not friendly. They acted like I was putting them out asking for a drink & not one of them smiled or said Welcome to Starbucks or anything. When I got to the counter it was, " what are you having?" in a lazy tone, then the girl said to hang on then walked away & had someone else take my order. The whole team behind the counter was very quiet, droll, and just all around unpleasant. Will not be back for a while.

Lady working the drive-through would not take my burnt coffee back. So I had to pull around park up with my full kids in the car and take the coffee and put it in the trashcan myself inside. Not sure why she’s not allowed to take drinks back.

I got an earl grey tea that tastes awful it’s so bitter and disgusting it’s the worst tea I’ve had. I also got an Iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso two days in a row from this location that only tasted like cinnamon milk couldn’t even taste the coffee. The second time I asked if more coffee could be added because I couldn’t taste it at all one of the workers said he couldn’t but he could remake it he said it in a annoyed rude way. Once it was remade it still didn’t taste like it had much coffee in it I could only taste a small hint of it. I have ordered the same drink at other locations and could taste the coffee no problem. He also was rude to my mom when she asked for a pup cup for the dog. I would suggest not going here unless you want to be very disappointed. I would also suggest management talk to their employees about their attitudes.
I just left the store here in Lampasas picking up my mobile order. We were ask to wait out front while they prepared our order because we were early. We parked out front. When we got our order I was wrong (hap whip when was supposed to be no whip) I went in and told him. The tall young man was so rude telling me next time don’t come so fast and they will not mess up on our order. He then grabbed the cup after just clasping off the whip. And throwing it out saying I’m about to make it all over. I told him excuse you! U ask us to wait out front and we did no rush! So don’t have a bad attitude towards me. He other young man and young lady were amazing. The tall rude young man was rude and need some better customer service skills.
I’ve recently relocated to Lampasas from Austin. I have always been a card carrying Starbucks guy. I’ve always been able to work and relax in Starbucks in any city I find myself. This is not the case here. I, as well as my parents, have been to this Starbucks several times within the last couple of weeks. Morning and afternoon on most days. I have never seen or heard a supervisor be so incredibly rude to the employees. Hannah is her name. I actually had the less than pleasurable opportunity to speak to her this evening. I am the type of person who cannot see something wrong and not say something. So I call and ask to speak to a manager. Hannah says she is the supervisor on duty. Imagine my excitement. I told her exactly what I am posting now. At first she seemed concerned and remorseful. That tone quickly changed. Her tone became almost as short, rude, and condescending as what I heard from her time after time while sitting not far enough away from her as she berates employees. One I’m particular. I can only assume he is a high school boy. Always nice. Always upbeat. Yet i notice that she is so incredibly dismissive and hateful towards the poor kid. Openly and in front of costumers no less. no other employees bat an eye. It is a sad and uncomfortable environment. At first I asked for the general managers information or the regional managers information. She seems ready to give me the information I requested. As the conversation progressed and towards the end of our call, she questioned how many times I came in and at what times. Almost to disprove my claims. As I decided to not let her play the gatekeeper, I asked once again for the information she was willing to give me at first, she said “how about this!? Next time you’re in you can pick up a card from the register and that will have the number you can call!?” I’m amazed. This is someone who cannot appreciate feedback and has no intention of taking accountability. This is someone who has no intention of engaging in a professional manner with employees or customers. She gives me a number, reluctantly. And with very chipper yet more condescending tone, she wishes me a “better day” and hangs up. Unfortunate that such a young lady presents as so entitled and complacent that she openly behaves in such a way that I have never experienced in any Starbucks. I cannot help but to wonder who the general manager is and how this person is allowed to behave in such a way that the culture of the staff and the work environment has spilled over to the customers. I will not be driven away by Hannah. I will continue to go to Starbucks. Drive thru, not inside. But, sadly I will be looking for a more welcoming and professional atmosphere in Lampasas. Any suggestions?
Never has my sister been treated so poorly at an establishment. She drove through the line at lampasas starbucks and said “Can I have 2 seconds please? to which he counted out loud, “ 1,2.” She then ordered a caramel macchiato with 4 pumps of vanilla, he said, “it comes with 4”. She said, “okay can I add 2 more” and he said “that would be 6”. After getting to the window, she hands him a $50 bill in cash. He said they could not break that. She explained she did not have any other payment. To which he said the bank is across the street, she told him I am not from here I don’t bank at that bank. He told her she could go to a gas station and get coffee. To which she told him she had her newborn premie baby in the car and could not go to into a gas station to get out anywhere. She then asked if she could just have the coffee since starbucks is the one that does not have the change in the first place. He responded that he was going to give it to her but since she rolled her eyes that he was going to throw it in the trash. He told her she was rude and aggressive, which was not the case. Then he told her that he was the manager when she asked to speak to someone else. This employees name was Byron or Byrom. To tell the customer that they are going to throw the drink away, when they ordered it having the full intention to pay is ridiculous.
This is by far the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Multiple times I have gone through the drive-thru and gotten yelled at and the barista has been aggressive with me. Specifically Hannah, she raised her voice with me and has been very argumentative and disrespectful. The store manager Nikki and one barista Shelby are very pleasant and always makes sure that I have a good experience. The baristas DO NOT provide exceptional customer service.
Jojo at Starbucks was terrible to my aunt and I. We ordered drinks we've never tried and he was so unpleasant and just flat out rude. If you don't like your job then leave.
Jo jo was very rude he had no manners even i got my venti cup with no slave to hold it since it was super hot but yet I reach out to get my own sleeve and stopper and yield at me for getting them even it's there job to put it in the cups for you since it's super hot ..... what a horrible person with no manners I will not be coming here again it was my grampas small gathering celebration but yet this guy has no class or positive working skills .. better off working at mc Donald's
The baristas were rude no greeting just threw my drinks at me and walked off. I said thank you so much and didn’t even Acknowledge my Existence. It’s not that hard have common decency to respond to someone when they say thank you. Already don’t like Starbucks but definitely won’t be back ever again.
The reason for my 1 start is the stupid card you have to re load to use the app, I would go to Starbucks in Lampasas way more if I could use the app like every other app.. get rid of the re load feature
Go to Alamo Coffee or Mojo Coffee- some place that actually enjoys & appreciates your business. This will be my last time at this location. Morning staff on 2/12/25 (6am ish) were unfriendly and couldn’t look more clearly irritated with their job…Which is a bummer to even be around as your first impression for the day. I’ve put up with generally poor service from this location (from generally 3-4 people) for the last few months but ordering a venti and getting a grande this morning paired with rude service was the last straw. Without even saying anything, the person in the car with me said “wow, what the heck is her problem?” Owners desperately need to do something about the window staff and/or management- this town is too small with too many other quality alternatives to have this such awful service. We as 5x per week customers are gone like the wind!
Worst experience I literally waited 45 mins in total time no one in line in front of me 4 people that came in after me got drinks and food before my tea came out I asked one of the lady’s how much longer she said she not the drink maker so don’t ask her it was very rude it took longer to make the food then the tea literally didn’t I know it’s a small area but being kind goes a long way

Rude Customer service!!! Somebody need to check on this location for it to be fairly new they are UNWELCOMING.
Usually have an OK experience at this location. Not today. Alex with the black beanie and glasses could really use some training in customer service. Rude and aggressive in her tone when talking to customers. She approached me as I waited for my app order and while I was trying to tell her that one of my 2 coffees (that were exactly the same order on the app) was out but I was waiting on my other - worried maybe the app messed up or something…she basically barked at me that she was busy and the only person working and would be making it soon. There were 3 other people working with her…& when I put my hands up and said I was just letting you know what else I was waiting on, since you know, you asked me. Then she came back even more aggressive and tried to say she’s just trying to communicate accurately what was going on. You could have just said I’ll have your second coffee out shortly instead of biting my head off. Then she grabbed the ticket for my other coffee and handed it to someone and asked them to make it. You’re making coffee, Alex…it’s not that serious.
How it should’ve gone, Me: “ Hi, I’d like two large ice waters please… Starbucks employee: Sure thing go ahead and grab two bottled waters and I will make 2 cups of ice for you. That’ll be $5.90” Emma is the worst. Just drove three hours from Dallas, Texas to Lampasas to see my grandkids play soccer, stopped at Starbucks to get two ice waters and had a five minute conversation about buying bottled water and getting separate cups of ice, extremely aggravating. I said I’m happy to pay for the ice. She said I can’t sell you ice water. There is no button to ring that up. (Stares at me blankly) I said I need 2 waters and I need 2 cups of ice. She said you have to buy two bottles of water. I said that’s what I’m here for, to pay for 2 waters with ice. She said well, there’s no way to ring up a cup of ice water. I’m like, can you sell me bottled water? she’s says yes. I said can you provide a cup of ice? She said yes. I said can I just buy two bottled waters and pay for the ice cups? she said no there isn't a button for me to sell you the ice. But I can give it to you when you buy two waters. This was a circular conversation that made no sense. Management, please retrain your employees. The first words out of my mouth where “what size is that cup over there pointing to your taller cups, then I said I would like to buy two venti ice waters. This should not have taken more than 30 seconds for Emma to just say “sure I can ring up two bottled waters for you and make 2 cups of ice for you.”

This has happened multiple times with multiple different people. They should put the straws at both doors. Or maybe just hand one to the customer without tossing it with an attitude.
