I can not believe we did not know about this place before now. The food is amazing, great price and the service was top notch. It wasn't busy when we arrived, but by the time we left, there was a wait! Ryan was our waiter, the only one we saw, he handled it like a Pro. We will definitely request him every time! The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor, make this a stop on your next trip!

Always the best Korean BBQ!! The food was delicious and super fresh meats. Definitely come hungry! We had a big party but we were wanting to pay individually and could only pay 2 cards max for 9 people so just be aware of that when coming with large parties but other than that the service was very professional and kind, I come here every time I'm in Vegas:)

This was a fantastic dining experience at an exceptional price for all you can eat Korean BBQ and sushi. The servers were very friendly and attentive, providing guidance with the menu, recommendations, and also ensuring to trade our grilling plates to not let anything burn. I wish I remembered the name of our server but he was a superstar on Monday evening (11-Aug) for giving us such a fun and personable dinner experience.

One of the best restaurants in town. Frankly where almost everywhere we have unhealthy food available, this restaurant is a blessing if you enjoy seafood, chicken, pork and beef. Amazing grills, portion size. Mind you they charge on a per person basis.

Nice and good quality food. Service little bit slow , but usually there are a lot of people. On weekends you need to make reservation of table.

Great place really tasty, they forgot some of the meals we ordered by service was still very kind and fast. This is not a cheap restaurant.

We recently visited Gen Korean BBQ House in Las Vegas and had an excellent experience. The restaurant offers a vibrant and engaging atmosphere, perfect for both small gatherings and larger groups. The variety of meats and side dishes available was impressive, and everything was fresh and flavorful. Cooking at the table added a fun, interactive element to the meal. A few items to consider: it's wise to wear clothing you don't mind getting a bit messy, as the open fire and cooking fat can sometimes leave marks. Additionally, the staff was attentive and quick to assist with any needs, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable dining experience. Overall, Gen Korean BBQ House is a fantastic place for a delicious and memorable meal in Las Vegas.

We had a wonderful experience. Wait time was minimal after we reserved ahead of time. $35 all you can eat. Speedy service. Great tasting authentic Korean dishes.

Vacay in Vegas got my friends and I craving for some Korean BBQ, so we had to visit this spot. Amazed by the selection of meat choices they had, sushi is also available here, the service was quick once u placed an order for food they come out fast to your table, atmosphere was good, price was good.

Wow, great experience, great food, and great service. Visited around 8pm until close to 10pm and tried many dishes in between. Clean tables and they change your grill regularly, very helpful. Highly recommend reservation online. 35$ per person all you can eat, but optional 20$ per person for premium meats and other premium options. Has Booth seating or table seatings mainly for larger groups, but we felt secluded in our booth which was great. During the visit we tried the: Wagyu, Short Rib, Carne Asada, Beef Tongue, Long Bone Short Rib, Salmon, and Galbi. Side of Rice and Vegetables, plus the added Banchan when we first sat down. We also ordered a couple of these main dishes 2 times over because they were quick with service and tasted great! Lots of food! Also ordered the Party Bowl electric blue lemonade (16% alcohol soju inside), huge glass recommend 2-3 to drink it all.

The food is good, although some of the meat choices were often redundant. How many types of pork belly does one need? We enjoyed the experience. It’s unfortunate that only two credit cards can be used, no matter how many people in the party. It’s ridiculous and makes for cumbersome paying arrangements. That alone might be a reason for me not to go back.

The entire experience was truly incredible! For just $100, two of us enjoyed a fantastic meal. I absolutely loved the food, the warm and friendly people, and the vibrant atmosphere. It was so amazing that I would highly recommend visiting at least once for an unforgettable experience! If I am coming Vegas, then I am coming here for sure.

We went for the experience and loved it. Between the two of us we got half orders and filled up fast! The tenderloin was fantastic, as was the takoyaki. I only wish we'd tried the brisket rolls but couldn't eat anymore!

A year ago we found out they were coming and my husband wanted to make sure we visited during our Vegas trip. We met up with some buddies during lunch. 90 mins all you can eat and a huge variety of meets, appetizers and sushi rolls. We loved everything. The fried rice is big enough to share for a group of 4 ! The sushi rolls were great as well. When the grate gets over used they will come get you another the adult capri soju are delicious. There wasn't a bad choice. Our server was great kept the drinks coming and quick to get the next orders in. We will have to check it out again. Make sure to make your reservations cuz they get busy.

We came for a late night meal and loved our entire experience from walking in the door and walking out. Excellent service, fantastic food, huge cocktails. This meal is the best deal in Vegas!! You can not get Korean bbq and sushi at this price back home in Atlanta! We had the all you can eat sushi and apps. Wish we could’ve had one more meal there.

The variety and quality of meat were very good, the portions were generous, and the booth was comfortable and spacious. The staff was very pleasant and courteous, and we really appreciated our server, Dani, who was very thoughtful and accommodating, especially with regards to our food restrictions. Atmosphere was light and fun, but the music was a bit too loud for conversations. We recommend this spot for BBQ!

Staff 10/10 service 10/10 food 11/10 Everything was exceptional. Some of my favorite #2 ribeye #8 gen signature galbi #9 hawaiian steak, Ktacos, spicy garlic edemame, gyoza, stuffed jalapeño poppers yummm! And the carpaccios excellent. We tried red dragon and Ultimate Salmon both perfect. I'm impressed with the quality of food, portions, flavors and service. 10/10 would recommend and return. This is my new go-to spot when we visit Vegas.

Came to Vegas for work and found most eating places outrageous in price from fast food food court burgers to even widely known national chain restaurants that's usually affordable, Vegas locations are just more. Having said that for context, this all you can eat Korean BBQ restaurant was of good value. For the quality of the food served (4.5), quantity (5), with their ambiance(5), I thought the place was a bargain at $36.99 all day. I usually go to nicer restaurants with my wife, kids or friends. For eating by myself, I usually keep it simple. However when simple pasta dishes are going to cost 25-40 from national Italian joints not made by Italians, and burgers and fries will set you back 15 to 20 in food court, and most things are just plain rip off for what you get, I really felt this Gen Korean BBQ was great, What I liked : * fast and prompt service. This was not a buffet style, but you order from the menu and they bring out the dishes. Each table has its own grill and you self cook /serve. From the time of my order to deliver, it was within 2 to 3 minutes. I loved the speed of the service! I was off eating and cooking and eating with delight! *ambiance The restaurant was nice. If I was younger and trendy restaurants were something I looked for, this would qualify. Not overly done. The place was tastefully set up. * food and value Again, the place situated near the strip in Vegas, I thought this place was great! I ordered the salmon carpaccio, basically salmon sashimi with drizzle of soy based sauce with onion garnish. This was excellent! 5 stars. I reordered this for more. The quality was fresh and plated nicely. I could go back just for this dish. Why they called it carpaccio in a Korean restaurant, I have no idea. But the dish was good. The server explained that you can order up to 4 BBQ meat dishes at a time. I had the marinated short rib, sliced brisket, rib eye steak and smoked pork belly. The rib eye was very tender. Not much marbling, but overall very nice to be included in this basic line up (4 stars). You can order premium cuts for $20 extra. I did not. Coming to eat by myself mostly looking for value, I did want to pay the extra 20. But again, this basic line of offering was good for the price! The marinated beef short rib was great! If I would go back, I might just stick to this dish. It was their best of the 4 I ordered (5 stars) . Brisket slices were not tender enough although it looked like it was sliced appropriately (3 stars) . Smoked pork belly (4 stars), My sad point of this review is that I was full after these 4 meat dishes. Back in my younger days, I might have bragged about getting my money's worth at a buffet. At my age, I sadly cannot eat as much as I used to. But I definitely got my money's worth. The quality and quantity was worth the price and I would go back and recommend it to anyone except to vegans. Worth the visit.

My spouse and I had a late vacation lunch on 4/27/24. It was our first visit. The hostess was excellent! She explained the process and answered our many questions with patience, grace, and humor. She made us excited to try it. We really enjoyed the food, atmosphere, waitress, servers, and even the manager who stopped by. Large parties were moving in and out, but it was never noisy or rowdy. Everyone was attentive and kind, quickly bringing food selections, removing completed items, and changing the grill plates. The fried rice was the best we've ever had anywhere! Moist, hot, and perfectly cooked. The garlic shrimp was fresh and seasoned well, heads on, but messy and difficult to peel after cooking. The rib eye and filet mignon were tender and tasty. The Hawaiian chicken was delicious, moist, and seasoned so well! Also, try the cheese and corn (cook it first), a new dish that is very good! This was more than a meal it was a delightful dining experience. I only wish there was a Gen close to my home in NJ. We would be regulars.

This was our first time eating at a Korean BBQ house. From the time you walk in you are greeted with smiles & excellent customer service. Someone is coming by your table every few minutes bringing the food you select, changing out the grill, or seeing if you need something. The options & combinations seem endless & being able to cook your food the way you like it makes it fun. The food is amazing! CaliBoy & Vin Dog were awesome! Loved their energy! Everyone we came across there were really nice & attentive to making sure we were good. There is a lounge area in back & for $22 all you can eat appetizers & sushi. Come on where on strip can you find that? We liked it so much we went twice in 3 days! It's a must try when you come to Vegas.

For $36 you are able to pick 4 meat, 4 sides, 1 carpaccio, 2 sushi rolls and you can do this several times -- all you can eat. This is one of those restaurants where you cook your chosen meat right in the middle of your table. Perfect for those who love to grill. I also enjoyed a Dragonfruit Sparkle beverage. 😁

Ambiance: The restaurant has a warm and lively atmosphere, perfect for group dining. The sleek tables with built-in grills give an authentic Korean BBQ experience. Food: The Premium menu stands out with high-quality selections like Wagyu beef, marinated short ribs, and Cajun shrimp. Each cut of meat was fresh

A conveniently located all you can eat Korean BBQ. I was surprised with the size of the restaurant. They've got great food and amazing staff. The price is something that can hurt the wallet for sure, but don't let that deter you. I would definitely go here again.

It was our first time in this place and it was great! We ordered so much food that we ended up not being able to eat it all (got too greedy). Was surprised at how good the sushi rolls were cos it wasn't a japanese restaurant lol. All in all it was a fun experience and we would come back!

Great gen my wife and I love this chain we’ve been to a lot of them and honestly this is the best location we’ve been to by far the environment is clean the floors ain’t sticky like most gen’s lol and Natasha was a great waitress the whole staff help each other which makes everything smoother. THE MENU also has more options then most gen’s like a whole list of SUSHI!! glad I took my wife here for her bday lunch we love gen and this location is FIRE!!!!

You need to reserve your table in advance. Food and services are all very good although at the end we didn't get one item we ordered. Servers changed the grill pans often so we could enjoy freshly cooked BBQ food on clean grills all the time.

ALL YOU CAN EAT at 4pm in the Afternoon?! Why...YES! Located in Elara Hotel (walking distance from MGM Grand Casino and the Waldorf Astoria), I stumbled upon a sign that read Korean BBQ, so I figured, (with meager expectations) "what the HAY"! That is, until we were met with THE MOST Amazing staff! Ethan was our Server & Bartender. He went Over and Beyond and is the epitome of live and love what you do, Unapologetically! The great food, beautiful ambiance, extremely reasonable prices, and stellar treatment was enough for me to return at least once a week (if I were a residence of Las Vegas). If ever near the Valley in Las Vegas- stop by GEN! Sushi lovers..You will definitely get your FIX! Oh, and HAPPY HOUR- DO THIS! 😀

Food and their name brand Jjan! Korean Soju = great Atmosphere = great Service = Phenomenal. Martelle was a gem in the sands of Las Vegas. A guy who really got us and understood this wasn't our first rodeo.

Best GEN location in the Vegas area! Was greeted by Jessica who was friendly, communicative and super professional. We had a reservation so check in was a breeze. Josh our server was simply wonderful! He crossed all of our t’s and dotted every i. Will definitely be back especially when Josh is working!

Great place to eat! We arrived a bit before they opened and were seated right away. I did make a reservation, but it probably wasn’t necessary since it wasn’t busy. The food came out quickly, and our waitress was attentive. The calamari tasted a bit off though; it didn’t seem fresh, and the texture was kind of weird. Overall, I wouldn’t mind coming back next time, though to be honest, it’s not necessarily a must-try spot in Vegas.

Good location, right on the strip, near the shopping complex. Plenty of seats inside. Very friendly staffs. Good food choice. They have many options, like regular premium steak, and new premium steak (?) for $10 more/person. In my opition, it is not worth it. Other options, such as pork belly, seafood options and vegetable are standard. Recommend to try the beef tacos (crispy). During our trip, they had the alcoholic and non alcoholic special drinks that were worth trying.

A good place for Korean food lovers. You can cook your own food, and there's plenty of choice. The menu listed squid, but I thought it was cuttlefish. It's a shame we had to wait for a table, even though the restaurant wasn't full, which is odd.

I visited Gen Korean BBQ House my first in Las Vegas - it was a uniquely delicious dining experience. I got the all-you-can-eat which offers a variety of meats and side dishes (soups, veggies, appetizers, sushi). I was surprised that I had to cook my own food at the table - this was cool but my clothes smelled like a kitchen when I left. My server was great and gave good advice to help ensure I had an enjoyable dining experience but I had tummy troubles that evening soon after I ate.

I really enjoyed eating here. The marinades for the meat were wonderful. You did have to either stir it first before putting it on the grill or slowly drizzle it as it was cooking. I have been to AYCE places before, and their cuts of meat aren't great and really fatty, but it didn't seem that way here. Everyone in my party really enjoyed the appetizers and the sides. My personal favorites were the raddish salad, cucumber salad, and kimchi. I would absolutely eat here again. Our server was pretty great about keeping the food coming until we were done.

S

It you want to eat Korean BBQ in Las Vegas, then it is good option. Good point is that it is all you can eat and you can enjoy not only meat/ BBQ but also seafood like raw fish and various Korean food. All of the tastes is better than expected. But bad thing is the delivery time of foods. Sometimes it is so long time to get it. And when the grill pan is buerned/ turned black, it is not changed rapidly. so, my tip is that order as many as you want to eat in the first round not to wait too much time! (Especially the meats...)

T
Tu Ngo

Gen Korean BBQ House is a fantastic spot for Korean BBQ enthusiasts. The variety of meats available is impressive, and everything is cooked to perfection right at your table. The side dishes, or panchan, are also delicious and complement the meats perfectly. The atmosphere is lively and fun. The staff is friendly and attentive.

December 2023: Heard about this chain because they have restaurants in So Cal. You pay $36 for the food which you BBQ at the table. Note that drinks (including green tea) and dessert are an extra charge. We had four people so they let us pick up to four meats, four sides, two sushi rolls at a time. I think it is a good way to try a lot of different things. We tried the garlic shrimp, the kalbi, the filet mignon, and the ribeye steak. The only meat that I would get again is the kalbi. Sides that I liked includes the kimchi, radish, chapchae. We tried two sushi rolls and the fish didn't seem as good as I would have expected for sushi grade fish. Dessert was delicious. They offered macaroon ice cream sandwiches. I had the green tea sandwich and it was so good! Other options include: vanilla, strawberry, cappuccino, and mango. Service was very friendly. Everyone was helpful.

It’s a great great restaurant the service is amazing. But unfortunately, when we came in the hostess was kind of ignoring us. Then she came back to us to sign in the computer meanwhile she chewed with her gum even though there’s nobody around. But our Asian waiter was awesome, the food is delicious as it we got the 10% off the Marriott card. I would go back AGAIN but the HOSTESS shouldn’t eat either GUM OR Wetzel pretzels at the front station!!!!!!!!!!!! #lasvegas

We decided to eat here on the strip because we didn't want to deal with the construction traffic on leaving the strip area. The price is reasonable when compared to other all you can eat Korean bbq places. The quality of items could be a bit better, in my opinion. Our server, Steve, was very friendly and quick to get our orders in. Overall, we did get in and out quick and had enough food to get through the night.

K
Kenya Fulton

I’m giving a 3 because the Confusion of being seated, tons of tables available but still a long wait without any updates. I left and then requested a spot through the restaurant’s website, I received a text acknowledging my request and was told they would message me back with a wait time. Went back down to the restaurant asked how much longer to find out she did not even have me on the list saying that feature on the website doesn’t work for this location. Finally seated waiter came over gave a super quick run through of how the menu works and took off. I should of watched a YouTube this was my first time at this type of restaurant kinda watch those around us to figure out what to do and what goes with what. When you sit down there are a bunch of cups of food didn’t know what to do with them. I believe they were a pre-appetizer. With better directions and better Organization this would have been a much better experience.

This is cheaper than most Korean bbq at $35 but def not as good and doesn’t seem to be owned by Koreans. Usually bbq places grease the grill with fat first. This place doesn’t so everything sticks and burns really fast. Also the spicy tuna sushi is the wrong kind of spicy and just way too hot compared to normal spicy tuna and we like spicy food. It was like jalapeño spice instead of typical siracha mayo. My partner is Korean and I lived in Japan. The beef bulgogi was over marinated and very salty and sweet. It was too soft and the meat was cut weird like crumbly and not slices. We also wished they had samjang or gochujang as the salt, oil and other brown sauce didn’t have much flavor. The salmon carpaccio was good. The takoyaki was also not hot enough and too much sauce. The ribeye, filet mignon, and spicy pork belly were okay. The “premium” chadul was very dry and lean, I would recommend maybe the beef belly instead. Usually we can eat a lot at ayce but we weren’t motivated this time. Wish we had gone somewhere better outside the strip

M
Mark W

Used to be really good spot. Corporate decided to make it $59.95 for everyone regadless and no more lunch menu or non premium menu. The started 2 weeks ago so be warned if you expect lunch pricing.

Incredibly disappointing. We had a reservation for Valentine’s Day. We were about 10 min late, it was hard to find the resturant and traffic was a mess. We checked in with the hostess. She told me it would be a few minutes to clear a table. We waited for 10, my wife then asked again. The hostess clearly angry basically yelled at her that there were three parties ahead of us and to wait. My wife was more than a bit upset. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable under any circumstances, especially to a customer. Needless to say we found another resturant and will never dine at a Gen Korean again. Unbelievable.

M
Mauro Munoz

Normally, I have positive experiences at GEN, but at this particular location I had a terrible time. First off, at opening they gave us a 20min wait time with 0 people waiting. Then the host had to take our order and drinks as no servers were there or something. Will definitely not be returning to this location.

M
Maika

Service was terrible, I asked polity 2 separate times for a napkin and they didn't give me one. Didn't refill our drinks, I had to ask. Bathrooms are dirty. They didn't check up in us but give us food. Ask the lady to break me some change and took 10mins... The food wasn't that great. The place wasn't even busy and we were there for at least 1hr or less and they didn't clean Any of the tables around us and had poor service. Just go to Cesar's Palace for a $30 more, at least you get better service. For $50 for the buffet, this place is nothing but a disappointment. Please don't waste your time and money folks. I would Not come back even if you paid me.

M
Mike R Schuster

This WAS one of our favorite dining experiences in Vegas, the food is excellent. We have been going every time we're in Vegas (4-6 times a year) for several years. We were very surprised to find out last week that they've raised their price from $36 (Oct) to $56, a more than 50% increase! Sorry they've removed the affordable option - we won't be back.
