We stopped in here for dinner tonight. We were seated very quickly and the white staff is friendly and courteous. They were very helpful and was able to take care of all of our needs

Dined on November 22nd 2024 The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Whiskey River BBQ(Burger) with a side of fries and a coke. Wife had a simple burger with fries as well. Didn't have to wait long for a table and only waited like 10 -15 minutes for the food. Ordering was a little strained I think our server was new but other than that small thing, The fries were absolutely fresh and hot with a perfect amount of crispiness. I just couldn't stop eating them. I even asked for more after my main meal was done. The Whiskey River BBQ itself was very well put together and it didn't get tiring to eat it after a while. The flavors were on point. I never have a problem when I come to this restaurant. And the food is still VERY reasonably priced. I was surprised my bill was 43 dollars. I left satiated and like I hadn't broken the bank. Definitely bring your date, or family here.

We had a great lunch here. The onion ring tower is the best. Definitely get the 13ring one. The sweet potato fries were ok, a little soggy and the fries were soggy also. But the burgers were delicious! The bacon fondue burger is a must try!

Service sucked was seated for 15 mins and not one waiter asked us anything or looked in are direction. Bartender we happily texting away on her cell phone as she walked by. Staff looked so confused as to what is going on. Worst service ever i my life. NO STAR RATING. HOPE THEY GO OUT.

I sat at the bar. My bartender Liz was very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was good, and it came out in a timely manner. A couple of suggestions. Please expand the menu soups,wraps, and desserts. Non-alcoholic beverages for people who want to drink responsible or have kids with them. And the tvs pictures are dark, and the color is off on them

I had a fantastic birthday night here! The food was great- I had a small issue with my food but it was addressed very quickly and graciously. I want to shout out my sever, Jayaziah, who gave impeccable service. She was extremely kind, personable, and attentive. It definitely made my birthday dinner great!

Food was awesome. Great waiters and hostesses. I had the turkey and bacon on a croissant, brussel sprouts, and garlic and butter broccoli. All good. A bit pricey but, really damn good food. Had to show desert.

We hadn’t been to Red Robin in years and it was amazing, we sat at the bar and Elizabeth took great care of us. It was a great experience, the food was great, it was great fun watching Elizabeth making drinks, she clearly takes great pride in her work, and she never stops!! She was great!! We will definitely be back soon, we enjoyed everything about our visit!! Great customer service is hard to find these days, it’s a relief to know it still exists!!

We had server Elizabeth as our server by the bar and she was amazing! She was very polite, patient and efficient despite how busy it was. She knew the menu and didn’t mind us pestering her a few times, lol. It looked as though she had everything under control. Making drinks for the other side and tables and dealing with her side. This is why I gave her a five star. She needs a raise!

When we come in, it's exactly what we expect .. food and drinks and just normal service. No one is really outstanding or makes a super impression. Food decent drinks decent

My son and I just had a great lunch today at Red Robin. We both got the yummy burger special, $9.99 for a double tavern burger ,unlimited fries ,and unlimited refills on our drinks. I also got an order of mozzarella twists. Our total was $32.81, my sister had given us a $30.00 gift card. So lunch was$2.81 and a totally deserved $10.00 cash tip for our attentive server.

Red Robin has a great selection of burgers. The bottomless french fries are nice. They have good milkshakes and their children's meals have a good variety. The service is always good. There is plenty of parking. The bathrooms are clean. The bar is nice and well stocked. My only complaint is the acoustics in the restaurant are terrible. If they are busy you can't hear yourself think it's so loud in there. I try to go here during off times when it isn't so busy because of the noise level.

Good gourmet burgers no complaints at my table of 7 highly recommended restaurant

I come here every couple of months for lunch with my bestie, and we always have great food. They have great choices, and everything is cooked great. The last time I had the fish meal it was very good. I also sat at the table for quite a while on the patio because it was pretty empty. If they were busy, I wouldn't have stayed. The waitress was great.

Food was good and staff was friendly. The building is looking very beat up. Unlimited fries came out in a smaller portion than last time I was here, but they refilled them. All good there, the burger was done as requested and our waiter came around to check on us a couple times.

No one was on the same page. I understand there was 1 bartender and 2 waitresses for the night. It normally wouldn't have been busy enough to have anything more. There was a basketball tournament in town so it got busier. If everyone talked to each other it could have gone smoother. I worked in the restaurant business in the past so I understand getting hit with a crowd you wasn't expecting. Yet once you get it you work together. Everyone throw each other under the bus it was crazy.

The waitress was great but the WAIT for food was pretty long. We were lucky that our waitress and the other staff brought fries while we waited and catered to us. They knew the wait was long.

Had a absolute great time, the waiter Matt was great and very good. There was about 20 of us and the food was great, fresh hot and good. Thanks Red Robin had a great time with family.

I'd have to say it's your standard Red Robin experience. Nothing super fantastic, no huge complaints. I had an issue with a birthday burger redemption and they were giving me the wrong information. I didn't fuss, took it up with corporate and they set everything straight. Staff was plenty helpful, food was standard for Red Robin expectations.

Took my granddaughter for her middle school graduation at 1130, were seated promptly and orders were taken. Food was delivered correctly, but unfortunately that was the last we saw of our waitress. My granddaughter wanted more fries and another party member needed a drink refill but she never returned until we were done with our meals and ready to leave. It wasn't busy at all, so I'm not sure what the problem was. Food was good, service was not.

5 stars for atmosphere given that this is very much a family restaurant. Great service. Okay food. Their madlove burger is a fantastic balance of sweet and savory and was a surprisingly well put together set of flavors. Other burger we tried was fine. Everything tended toward the greasy/salty side. They have endless sides for each burger you order... and after 3+ refills, we reckon they mean it. The IPA we ordered on tap came with a perfect pour and tasted super fresh with a full smooth finish. If its not a fluke, it might be one of the best places to get a beer in latham. We will try again and see!

I had the Southern charm burger medium rare and cooked just right as a great burger. My wife had the Royal Red Robin which she said was great and so big she didn’t think she could finish. My mother in law had the Teriyaki chicken which she loved. She had the Freckled lemonade she said was really great, especially the strawberries and I had the Sunset lemonade which I highly recommend. Nikki was a great and fast waitress. She was very attentive. I will return again

Excellent server and staff, mediocre food. We started with mozzarella sticks which were soggy with grease, no crispness at all. Drinks were fine and like everything, were served quickly. My wife commented on sticky menus and floor on way to rest room. Main courses were typically ok including my shrimp, her burger, and a friend's ribs. When they cleared the apps they removed forks, fine, but we had to ask for silverware when entrees arrived. Manager came by to check in with us. Waitress was busy but checked in once or twice. My wife says she won't go back. Ill only say it won't be my first choice for a 12-party family dinner. Atmosphere was good family stuff. Large TVs, tablets with games on table. Nice bar off to the side. Kids without discriminating standards will probably love it. Adults, not so much. It's very much an okay place for family meals.

I had not been here in a few years. Staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The issues we had was my side salad that I asked for minus some veggies actually came out as just lettuce with some cheese sprinkled on it. I was asked how I wanted my burger, I said as rare as your allowed to cook it. My burger came out well done, my husband's had pink in it. My husband had endless fries and he was never asked if he wanted more. He probably would have said no because the fries boarded on raw. No crunch or coloring on the French fries. I guess I know why I had not been to a Red Robin in years. **The onion ring tower was delicious!**

Food was good but it came out barely warm, all of our fries were cold and my burger was barely warm. It was really good but I couldn't eat cold fries. Also our appetizer came at the end and I had to ask for it. But we did have 3 different waitresses so that could be why. We all liked the food just wish it came out hotter.

Ordered my burger rare, came out beef jerky, portion of fries extremely small and came to me not even luke warm. Bartender was great right up until cash out. I was literally the only one at the bar and once I paid I was a forgotten soul. I try to keep the IRS out of the tip. Was giving a ten dollar tip on a $41 meal/drink. Waited over twenty minutes for her to break a twenty so I could give her a ten dollar tip and once I was cashed out with my card I was an afterthought. Sux to be you. Atmosphere was good.

Someone should be in the host spot so people will have help when they need it. They may be short staffed so I get that but the customer service was good. They made the burger exactly how I wanted it!

My wife and I had fish and chips today for lunch. We got there before 12 to miss the rush. They weren't bust at all and I kept telling my wife why is is taking so long to get the food. Well when it finally came the fish and fries were only warm. At first I thought they forgot to give us the fish but after sorting through the fries I found 4 of the smallest pieces of fish I have ever seen. And at the cost of $ 20 per person. We have had fish and chips from this Red Robin before. Always great with descent size fish. Not this time. It will be quite awhile before we visit this place again.

Not like when they first opened, fries were cold, and we had to ask. Good was ok, missing some ingredients. OK in a pinch

While the food was good, the service was perhaps some of the worst in Albany. Ordered drinks, and got a starting plate of fries and our appetizer before the drinks despite ordering the food after ours drinks. I’d say about 45 minutes, while appetizers were 30. The waitress seemed very frazzled, and never asked if we wanted sauce with our fries so we had to ask the people who dropped off the fries. Once we got our food and drinks, it was very delicious. Service was just very off. The place also took down the big glass wall that has been there for years, and it has made the place significantly louder. Hopefully they replace it soon. I do come here on occasion, so hopefully next time it is better but overall is was okay. Sad to see every time I come is a vastly different experience.

Good service, food is going downhill. The burgers have been downsized from when it first opened, getting close to fast food quality. Barely any fries also. In the bar there were at least 3 fruit flies buzzing our table and the beer draft dispenser (it's late November...this shouldn't be an issue)

Back in the day this place used to have a 30 minute wait to get in but today it was empty. That should have been a red flag. 5 tables in the bar area were still packed with dirty plates. Our food came out ice cold. The burger didn't have bacon and the side of bacon that came out was cold. Wait staff was excellent however she was waiting tables, cleaning tables and managing the bar for her tables. This place isn't what it used to be.

Not sure what has happened to this place. Been coming here for years and receiving great food. It took 45 mins to get our food. I ordered a whiskey River BBQ burger cooked medium. The burger came with no BBQ sauce, burnt black to a crisp. The fried onions were black too, the burger looked like they scraped crap off the floor and put it in a bun. I still ate it because I will eat anything but this hands down was the worst burger I've ever had in my life. I still tipped the waitress well as she tried to stay on top of our drinks. They seemed a little short handed so I gave them a break. Usually the service is bad here depending on where you sit. They seem to be more attentive when you sit near the bar. But I've never had bad food here until now. I should have taken a picture but after being there for 2 hours we had to go. I like the Red Robin concept, so I hope they get their act together.

First off they need to update their Google menu.. I was planning on a the brisket and they don't sell that anymore. Regardless I ordered a burger somewhat similar to what I wanted. VERY disappointing. I burger was burnt and covered with cheese and sauce to hide it. Didn't work!! The garlic fries were okay.. not great until I got the bottom were all the butter was. The burger was pretty thin and tasted like it came out of a box from McDonald's.. speaking of which I probably could have gotten a better burger from McDonald's!! I have eaten at several Red Robin's around the country.. this one in Latham, as far as the food was concerned was by far the worst. The phone staff and pick up person were very nice and pleasant to speak too.

Every time we came here, we waited 45 minutes for drinks, served cold fries and our food sat in the window for a good 10+minutes before it was served. Hair in the food, clear running egg and undercooked fries. I would not recommend this location, even if meals were free. Save yourself the disappointment and 2+ hours of your time and got to the Clifton Park location instead! There is no "team" or help from management even at the slowest hour.

Whoever decided to change the food provider should be fired. Food is terrible and cheap tasting now. Service is ok, food not worth it I used to love it here but won’t be back now that the company has decided to throw away quality, I’d rather lay a bit more for good food then pay these prices when I can get something from McDonald’s

We waited 30 minutes to be seated, (there were plenty of empty tables) then 55 minutes more before our food came. There were empty tables, and it was apparent that the restaurant was very understaffed. Our server was okay, but overwhelmed. When served, the food was luke warm and not very good. Added insult was that we paid $170 for 4 people and 2 children under 9. The food was mediocre, at best. Sadly, I was very disappointed, and will not be going back to any Red Robin.😞

Absolutely not worth it went here since it is typically good with gluten free but this location and waiter was not good. They gave the person who didn’t order gluten free a gluten free bun with an up charge and didn’t have the toppings that were asked for. They also charged $4 for three bites of coleslaw. We couldn’t get the server to come over she didn’t check on us very disappointed and very expensive for how horrible the experience was. Don’t go here!

Our first time at this location and we actually love to eat at Red Robin but, the area outside the car smelled foul. I was unsure if, the area smells funny or McDonald's grease trap was open. The bartender seemed unexperienced... Good thing, I didn't order any alcohol because every order around us and to us were wrong. I blame the servers not reading the order and handing the correct order to the customer and that'll naturally fall on the bartender. Salmon and chicken bites cost $40. Food was ok. The bottomless fries is a nice touch to the menu but, the new menu is smaller than ever.

My food was hot but the rest of my group was served cold food. Waitress wasn't around to notify-- they couldn't have done anything in a timely manner anyhow. We couldn't get drinks. Our waitress avoided us because she couldn't get our drinks. She tried bringing us the beer we ordered 30 minutes after we ordered it, when we were done eating and wanting to leave. I had to take our malfunctioning checkout thing to the entry of the kitchen bc our waitress wouldn't come over. The entire nightmare took entirely too long. We will 100% never go back.

Food taste and atmosphere great. Service TERRIBLE! Took forever for waitress to even acknowledge us. Took order. Waited 30 mins for our food. May have been even longer. Witness our waitress standing around and chatting. Ordered appetizer and had requested salad come out before meal. While waiting, we had to flag another staff just to get our drinks refilled. Then, appetizer came out WITH the meal! During our wait, we had met Anthony the manager who was very nice and he was the one who delivered our first round of drinks. During meal, of course, waitress never came to check on us. If you come here to try to enjoy a tasty meal at this location, make sure Emma is not your waitress. She clearly doesn't want to work there.

I've had great burgers at other Red Robin locations, in Washington, PA (take out) and Manchester, CT (eat in). The burger at the Red Robin in Latham, NY I had tonight (take out) was terrible, and tasted absolutely nothing like the Red Robin burgers at the other locations. There should be quality consistency across a chain locations.

We will not be back. We asked for a booth and the hostess said yes. The hostess said to follow her, so we walked with her. She turns around to us and says it’s half booth half table. I asked if there was a full booth and she sighs ugh loudly and walks us back to the front. It was completely unnecessary and rude. If she didn’t do that I would have had no issue with the seating. We were sat in a booth near the bar. I said thank you. We ordered our drinks and appetizers. We ordered the food about 5 minutes later. The drinks and appetizers did not take long. The food took over 45 minutes. I understand short staffed, but the waitress never came over to say it was a long wait. When she brought the food she said one of the meals was messed up so brought the other meals so they didn’t get cold. Two out of those three were not correct. She never came back over for awhile. Never once checked to see how our food was. Never once asked to fill drinks. A French fry refill was ordered and did not get that until we wanted to leave. The food wasn’t good and the service was awful. I have worked in service being understaffed and very busy, so I am reasonable. It was not busy and the service was awful and never apologized once.

Rude staff, slow service and after I pointed out i was serve the wrong burger from what I ordered, a worker was muttering "get out of my spot, ya herd?" What kind of nonsense is that? you can't be incopetnet and rude and stay in business long. Last lunch I have here.

Worst experience with this location yet. I placed my order around 7:45 pm for pick Up at 8:01pm. I arrived and called at 8:06pm. They told me it would be just a few minutes and asked what spot I was parked in. After waiting another 20 minutes, I called again. I was told it would be just a few more minutes. About a minute later the person comes out to bring me my food, forgetting my drink. At this point my toddler son had been in the car for almost a half hour and was not happy to say the least so I told the girl to forget the drink I just wanted to get home. (Mind you this location was not busy at this time and I was the only car in the curb side area..) I arrive home to find my food was cold. It had clearly been sitting there for a while and just forgot about me. Instead of just owning that and apologizing, the cashier tried to change the time on my receipt to from 8:01 to 8:28pm pick up. Really very disappointed

Not only did out orders get mixed up on multiple occasions, we were left waiting as a family of 7, with 2 young children, for at least 40 minutes waiting on a dessert that never was ordered to be made in the kitchen. A milkshake?? This was absolutely ridiculous, the line of cooks were horribly organized. The restaurant had 16 people in it excluding us, there were hardly any waiters and the service was trash. I recommend this place to eat if want to experience service worse than McDonalds. Ridiculous. Then to make it worse, our check was incorrect! Are you serious?? Things we never even ordered were on it, how does a place mess up this bad. So aggravating. And the music sucks.

It was a mistake going here. We went on a Tuesday (The day of this review), and we ended up having to cancel our food because after 45 minutes it still hadn't come out. The host was kind, and she told us that it was a little bit busier than they were expecting and we had to wait...that was fine and she was kind enough. We figured we would sit at the bar and have a drink, which is where the frustration began. Our bartender walked by us many times, but after 20 minutes she barely acknowledged us except for the one time she told us she was sorry for the wait, but she went right about ignoring us from then on. She had absolutely no intention of serving us anything and it was as if she was trying her hardest to pretend we weren't there. She was the worst part of the entire experience. They didn't have enough servers, so it took a while before our server got to our table. When she did, I let her know we were on a schedule. We only ordered fries, so we figured it would be fine. 25 minutes later, we only had our drinks and we had to cancel our food. Our server was kind, but when we were walking out we saw the food sitting there at the food running station, so not sure why it never made it to our table. We left incredibly frustrated and hungry. Every other Red Robin we've been to has been fine, but we will never be back to this location. Our favorite part of our visit was the Rubik's cube art next to our table (see Pic). Like Pac-Man, we were close to getting our food, but it remained just out of reach.

I ordered my food around 8:07 reached the resturant around 8:30, the time it said it will be ready, and it wasn’t. Okay no problem I can wait. At 8:50, the guy says they’re working on the last burger it’ll be 5 more minuets. At 9:10 I went to cancel my order because it’s been over an hour now and it still wasn’t ready. The manager comes out at 9:20 saying okay if you don’t want to wait that’s fine we’ll cancel. I cancelled and requested a refund and left. The order wasn’t a huge order either just 3burgers and fries. I wish they were more honest about their timings on when pick up would be, I understand things can be delayed but please let us know if that’s the case instead there was no communication on their end.

I never leave bad reviews but I would be reminded if I didn’t here. This restaurant has never once got our order correct, on time, or warm.

I ordered food online. When I got there they said it would be another 20 minutes. Ok so I don’t usually do this but I asked the girl if we can have a free drink. She did give me a free drink and when I got home I found the soda fountain nozzle in my drink! 🤮I called Red Robin in Latham back and they told me next time I come back they can give me a free meal! I’m never going back! I would have rather had a refund 🤮🤮

We are traveling to Boston and had decided to get the order to go.. once we arrived at the restaurant we decided it would be best to sit outside and eat on the chairs due to the lengthy drive we had ahead and give our dogs some water as well specially since we were the only ones there. The manager came out rudely at us because we had the dogs who did not bark even once or made any annoyance, and also made it very clear he was upset to the fact we had ordered to go and decided to eat there. I’m pretty sure we spent well over $500 there for a family of 18 people. And he tried to imply that the “other guests” whom were sitting outside might have had an issue with the dogs too.. only thing all the “guests” outside were our family members. I would have understood if we were eating food from another place at Red Robin which was not the case at all or if the dogs were acting crazy, barking, etc.. or if we had brought them inside the restaurant. All we had consumed was Red Robin’s, the dogs did not bark or even react when the manager went on top of them trying to get a reaction out of my dogs. To spend over $500 and to be poorly treated.. much rather spend my money elsewhere. Now I understand why this location only has 2 stars on yelp.

Cleanliness is the key to a successful restaurant. Today was an unsuccessful day. Again 5 months later not a good experience. Food was subpar and was filthy everywhere including our seats and table. Not returning to this location again.

This review is for a takeout order: Placed phone order at 6:25 for pickup at 6:40, arrived at 6:50 and food not ready. Was not cashed out until 7:07. Order was for Shroom burger $11.29 and Clucks & Shrimp $13.59. When I examined the containers I noted a small amount of fries which unfortunately is status quo, for "bottomless" fries, why punish to go orders? Then I noted there was only 2 small pieces of chicken and 6 small shrimp. For $13.59 there is no wrapping my head around this small amount of food at this price point. I asked to speak to manager. A pleasant gentleman came out to speak to me, I expressed my displeasure about the portion size and price point and his only response was he was sorry but he does control the prices. I feel if they are going to offer "Entrees" then they need to increase the portion sizes or lower the prices, it's just not a value. Food was good but overall just a poor experience all around.

To say disappointment would be an understatement. Arrived about 6pm Tuesday night, it quiet. There was no one as the service desk… then a line started to form behind us, probably about 10 people waiting to be seated, but when someone finally came out they were more worried about the doordash drivers. First red flag… Our server was nice and refilled drinks, and that’s truly the only decent thing of this experience. We ordered chips and cheese as an appetizer and then waited 20 minutes. Our dinner and appetizer came out at the same time and the woman bringing it said she didn’t know why they stacked our food. We go to try the queso… ICE cold. Definitely sitting on the pass for quite some time. We get it microwaved, but we had no appetite for it anymore so that went to waste. Our burgers were flavorless and the “bottomless” fries were 10 measly fries on the plate. We waited a bit as we debated getting dessert, but didn’t want more disappointment as our 2 person bill was already at $70 for two flavorless burgers and cold queso. We were not offered more fries, and truthfully the queso shouldve been taken off our bill. After sitting for a bit, we ended up paying on the table kiosk and left silently and extremely dissatisfied.

I will give one star for the root beer float. For a "gourmet burger" restaurant, they didn't get my medium rare avocado bacon burger even close to medium rare. I won't go in to the service. We were given 25% off the bill for the burger blunder. I won't be going there again. I can get a better burger anywhere else.

We come here pretty regularly with the kids. Last night we were there for my brothers birthday which we do every year. We informed the server it was his birthday and ordered our food. After waiting about 40 minutes the food came out. Everyone’s food was like warm and no one burgers were cooked correctly. My wife ordered extra mushrooms and bbq sauce on the side. Our waitress walked by about 4 times and she asked about them each time and was told she’d bring them right over. Needless to say my wife never got them and finished her food without it. The Diet Pepsi she ordered tasted like seltzer so she sent it back 3 times with the same issue.To top it off they never came by to sing to him for his birthday, which he was looking forward to all day. When we brought this up to the server (a different one that was walking by not the one for our table) he said everyone was busy and couldn’t come out to sing. At this point we just paid the bill and left. After this experience unfortunately we have decided to go elsewhere for his birthday and will not be returning at all in the future as well. This place used to be good and I don’t know what happened.

Dear Red Robin: You are your own worst enemy. You have customers inside your restaurant waiting to place their order, with two servers passing our table without even acknowledging our existence. The restaurant had few patrons in it, so it wasn't busy at all (this was around 4pm on a Saturday). Also, several tables were not bussed, making it look very dirty in the restaurant. It seems there was no management on staff to assign workers to certain duties. Anyway, after being ignored for 20 minutes, we decided to go eat elsewhere, since there are many dining options in Latham.

Went here a few days ago and the service was terrible. Our waiter did not check on us once and we waited over an 1.5 for our food when people who came in 30 mins after us were served promptly. I understand it was busy but when we tried to get someone’s attention no one looked at us and apologized to other tables about the wait but nothing to us. Service here is never that great but this was something else.

Absolutely horrible! It wasn't busy but we waited 15 minutes at the table before the server came over. The restaurant had several dirty tables (plates and cups sitting on the table) literally the whole time we were there. The manager was cleaning off a table and asked staff to sweep several times... they ignored him. Disgraceful!! My granddaughters mini corn dogs were burnt and inedible. Shameful.. should never have been brought out to the table. Do not waste your time or money at this location.

The servers were wonderful. But the food was horrible way below expectations and portion size check out these pictures. You would expect a pretzel Bacon and beer cheeseburger would come with all those things but look it the way they prep the sandwich. It's just sad how restaurants can list one thing in the main title of their particular meal but you have to read the fine print like a contract to find out exactly what you're getting
