We just picked up pastries to go. There were plenty of staff so we didn't have to wait & they were all very pleasant. Pastries were: +fresh +delicious +reasonably priced.

Next time I visit Albany, Bella-Napoli will definitely be on my list of delicious places to go!

Always a treat to stop in for some baked goods! I grab big boxes of multiple desserts for our big family gatherings. They're always a huge hit!

They have a cake called radio bars . You can get them after 2:30 on Thursday. They are a huge favorite thing.

We were referred here by a random stranger at the grocery store. We highly recommend this bakery as well. It is busy, but well organized. We wanted something special for our anniversary and ended up with 2 slices of cake and 2 gourmet lemon cupcakes. Honestly, I don’t think you can go wrong with any choice. We will be frequent visitors! ❤️

Great place to grab some fine pastry and/or cookies. I must have gone when the staff was busy. Hardly any customers, but I had to ask three different people for help at the cookie counter before some picked them out for me. She was pleasant, at least.

I visit every couple weeks. The pastry is very good. When I walk in, I say, tutto mio. My favorites are the pie crust turnovers, apple and cherry, apple logs, sugar and plain donuts, cinnamon raisin long buns. On Fridays they have pizza bagels. During the fall, winter, and spring, they have pizza. Sicilian type. Very good. They also have counter service for coffee, breakfast things and sandwiches. They also have sub sandwich area. Also very good. All i can say about Bella-Napoli is "molto bene".

Common if you've been here you already know. This is the capital regions local (Italian) bakery. Plenty of great pastries but I go for the breakfast sandwiches the most. Just look at my pic, I go to the halfmoon sandwich shop when I cant make it down to Latham and theirs is sad... good but 1 slice if cheap boiled ham. NOT bella Napoli, the bakery that puts more meat on its sandwich then the "sandwich shop" (step up your game "sandwich shop"). I wish Bella was in Clifton Park :(

There was a wide selection of baked goods. They even had a flourless (gluten-free) cake! Everything was delicious and the staff was very personable.

We got our gender reveal cake from here. My dad went and got it ordered for us. He gave them the envelope they opened it and resealed it and gave it back to him, he showed them a pic of the cake we wanted and it turned out perfectly!

Our family has been picking up our cannoli, Sfogliatella and bread at Bella Napoli for decades (likely since 1965 when they opened!). On a recent trip to the Albany area to visit family, we stopped in twice and also really enjoyed the Italian hoagies and breakfast sandwiches. The bread is delicious, the provolone sharp! The blueberry powdered jelly donut was so fluffy and delicious, my intention to eat half was quickly cast aside. The limoncello and pistachio cannoli were delightfully delicious. Pro tip from our grandma, wrap the pastry you don’t eat in paper towels or napkins and they will keep fresh in the fridge for a few days, extending your enjoyment of the box you surely will fill to share with friends and family.

Even when there are a lot of customers the wait is short. Their baked goods are fabulous!

Been here a couple times, got them as my "first meal" post pregnancy. I've tried their tiramisu 8/10, tres leches 10/10, mini nutella lobster tails 7.8/10, cannoli reg 9/10, Lemon cannoli 9.5/10, oreo cupcake 8/10, chocolate covered pretzel 7/10, chocolate Mousse (pie?) 10/10, coffee roll 8/10, coffee muffin 10/10, chocolate cake (with one white frosting layer and one darker layer of frosting) 9/10, chocolate bomb 10/10, French dipper sandwich 10/10, and Napoli italian sandwich 10/10. Cannolis my main complaint is how dry the shell was, it crunched more like a stale shell than a fresh one (understandably because stores in a case). Tiramisu my only complaint is one time the lady fingers were a little too dry and the next time the top was frozen. Lobster tails felt like they should've been flakier, again like the cannoli hit more on the stale side. It pulled instead of flaking. Coffee roll every time is dry. But tastes really good. All in all absolutely love this place. Both locations I really wish they would label them better. Half of them aren't labeled.

Never knew how nice this place is. Been by it a million times until one day my sweet tooth got the best of me. There's like everything here. Took me 15 minutes to make my mind up before I landed on pistachio cannolis. Ever heard of those? Me neither 😂 Lemme tell ya, they're about as good as the sound. Homemade filling that's stuffed end to end (none of that skimpiness). Ate them all before I could take a picture. My bad, and my excuse to go back 😊

If you've ever been to the Latham location for breakfast on the weekend, you know that you are not going to get in and out quickly. This place never stops serving (til 11) and the bakery line is out the door at times! Everyone was pleasant and the food was great. I got 2 poached eggs on toast and my friend got the breakfast sandwich. We were very pleased with our choices.

Heard some really good things about this place. We drove 2 hours and 45 minutes to try it for ourselves. So worth the drive. I wanted to try the Cannoli. They are amazing!!! The Rum Ba Ba were tasty and the Raspberry Cheesecake is out of this world. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be taking the drive again, real soon.

What a beautiful store with goodies to match. Bella-Napoli may just be the best Bakery in the 518. Fresh made baked goods from donuts, cakes, cookies to breads. Each item crafted by experienced hands to perfection. The staff is very pleasant and eager to serve you with a smile. If you haven't been here, you don't understand what your taste buds are missing out on.

I had ordered one a month ago and paid $65 for my daughter’s 8th birthday party. The results were disappointing, I asked my friend to remake it and she said no. In a bind, stressed out and running out of time, Theresa agreed to have the cake ready in less than 24 hours and it was still LESS money than what I originally paid for the first one!! Ordered a custom cake and the employees were super helpful in ordering it. Easy to pick up. It looked great and tasted great. I also enjoy their pastries such as cannolis, almond horns, cheesecakes, rainbow cookies, and much more. Everything that I've gotten has been amazing so far! The young ladies working the counter make everything better. I've never had a better oatmeal cookie in my life. I will always select a cranberry score bc those are to die for. However the reason I always go is for the ived cinnamon raisin bread. A classic and a staple.

Holy WOW!! Why haven't I discovered this spot sooner?! So well known for the bakery that has nearly everything. Pastries, brownies all kinds of Italian cookies, cheesecake. You'll wait in line but it's so worth it. But they have a deli too!! Sandwiches, hot and cold. A daily soup. A man who I can only presume is the owner came and chatted with us while we were there. This is an incredible spot. Don't sleep on it.

Canoli cake with chocolate chips. I didn't know cake could be so soft! It was moist and the filling is soft and creamy! The shell on the canoli is crispy! The canoli cream can be eaten by itselfm This will certainly be my go to bakery!

Absolutely amazing! Everything we chose was delicious and there are SO MANY options! I was surprised that they even had a deli. The only thing they need is gelato and the Italian dessert experience would be complete. My favorite part was the variety of cannolis 🤤

For being the day before Thanksgiving I barely had to wait. Because it was so busy I didn't actually get the pie I wanted. There may have been a miscommunication since it was quite busy and load. The pie I got was a very delicious apple crumble. I got the limoncello cannoi and it was amazing.

Holy Italian Bakery! There are really no words to express how in LOVE with this place I am. So, it is ridiculously busy, be sure to grab a ticket when you first get there before scouting all of the wonderful treats that they have. The line moves fairly quickly. Parking can be a bit tricky but it is so worth circling for a spot or walking a bit further. Spent only about $15 for 5 items.

Fantastic pastries, and their breads, sandwiches and smoothies can't be beat. If you have a sweet tooth, proceed with caution, as everything in the store will cry out to you. Their radio bars are a particular decadent treat, with more chocolate than you can shake a stick at.

A Capital District staple! I go here a couple times a year for the past 10ish years and never had a disappointing food or experience. I’ve tried subs, homemade soups and lots of pastries! This week we got mini cannolis; raspberry, chocolate chip, pistachio and lemonciello. So fresh and delicious! If you are in the area, it’s a must try!

You expect a crowd 2 days before a holiday and they had so many people working. Found parking, didn't even wait. Got everything i needed and more.

I mean it’s just amazing.. we went there for the first time and there were like at least 500 options..HOLYYY.. Well it was hell crowded and we were amazed by how they were dealing the customers. We had to take some pictures of the desserts to remember all the options that we try. But after 15 minutes, we got our turn and one of the server took the order and gathered all the dessert we requested. It was pretty fast and well managed. Please review all the pictures that I took and it complete justify NAPOLI.. 😇😊 Please must try almond horns and we just loved it. Also they have small cafe, where you can have sit have coffee and order dessert 🍮.

Absolutely love this place. Used to visit frequently before I moved to Philadelphia. Never miss a chance to get pastries when I visit my home town. Love the napoleons, always my favorite, but have honestly never had a bad option here. Keep up the amazing work!

Love this place food is great, the workers there are just the best. I love they have warm food and a bakery section. Decent prices - and also they have a great bread selection. Always pop over once a month to get some goodies for the house. The place hasn't really changed since the 90s which is nice nostalgic albany area.

Love getting the butter cookies from this bakery. I get the pre-boxed cookies for a quick check out. Have never been disappointed with selection inside. To be honest anything from the bakery is great. Today decided to stay for lunch at the counter after purchase on the bakery side. Bread outstanding and super fresh. Meats plentiful and tasty. Fruit smoothy good too. Service was outstanding. Waitress was also running the take out register and everything smooth and fast.

I visit my mother who lives in Albany, was there this past weekend and went to Bella Napoli bakery. If you find yourself near this place stopping in is a must. I live in North Carolina and I'd need to drive at least 300 miles to find a bakery half as good as Bella Napoli. Outstanding product and even more so the service is top shelf. Didn't care about the cost because whatever they charge it's well worth it.

I went in to quickly check out this place and grab some pastries to go. The selection was incredible. I got five different flavors of mini cannolis. They were all delicious. I'm looking forward to going back with my wife and showing her the selection of delicious-looking pastries. They also have a cafe where you can order hot food but I did not get a chance to peruse the menu as I was in a hurry. Next time!

Going there during the holidays is a trip - especially Christmas Eve morning. Lots of people and you just have to try and be calm and patient. It's set up well, you get a number and it moves fast. You get your own person who didn't rush us, offered advice, and just was super calm and patient. We managed to overspend and it was worth it because everything we got was delicious. Bella-Napoli Italian Bakery is an absolute gem. Everything I’ve tried has been excellent, but the peanut butter cannoli deserves special recognition—it’s outstanding. The shell is perfectly crisp, the filling is rich and creamy without being overly sweet, and the peanut butter flavor is spot-on. You can really tell the care and quality that goes into their baking. I usually go to the Troy location, only been here a few times. The Latham location has a wider variety of donuts, probably all pastries in general, compared to Troy. The donuts are about the same, but here they have Blueberry cake and also tried the PBnJ donut. Wish the Troy location at least had the Blueberry, but the PBnJ was also good. There was also a Cannoli Donut, which was pretty good, was a normal donut cut in half and filled with cannoli filling and bits of a the shell on top of a whipped cream topping. The apple fritter was pretty good, just could be way better it had more apples all throughout it and not just on top. The fudge fancy cookie here is good, but something is different about it compared to the Troy location.

I brought my car to the Toyota dealership for maintenance, and while searching for a nearby bakery on the map, this place popped up. So I decided to walk here. It was only about a 5–6 minute walk, and it was absolutely worth it. Even though it was my first time here, I can already say this will become one of my go to spots. I ordered an espresso, and it was absolutely amazing! Truly the best espresso I’ve had in a long time. The aroma, richness, and smoothness were exactly how I like it. Combined with their warm and friendly service, the whole experience was perfect. I’ll definitely be coming back not just for the espresso, but to try their other food as well. Highly recommended!😊😋

Great toramisu. But no prices on most items which annoyed me. Also, the service was really slow. The cheese cake slice didn't survive the car ride. So my suggestion is to ask for a smaller container! However, the taste of baked goods will still have me coming back.

My husband surprised me to grab some treats and my initial response was excitement because the desserts are tasty looking, but unfortunately fell flat taste wise. The best thing we had was the sesame pastry, which was surprisingly good. We tried many options, maybe we need to try something else next time? I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into Bella Napoli and saw the variety of baked goods and pastries they offer. There’s truly something for everyone! On my first visit, I had their coffee and a cheese danish. The danish was buttery and flaky, just how I like it. A friend had the brownie cheesecake, which I only had a bite of, but oh my—it was creamy with a rich, fudgy layer. I’ve never had a brownie cheesecake before, but it’s definitely on my list to try again next time. I also sampled some of their classic cookies. Their fudge fancies and black and white cookies were great, with the cookies being even better than I expected. Service is super quick, but I do wish they had more coffee options and that the coffee line wasn’t separate from the bakery line, so you wouldn’t have to wait twice to grab a cappuccino or other drinks. There’s usually a bit of a line, but it moves fast, and they have a few tables to sit at. The bakery also has a fun and welcoming vibe with its decor.

Our first purchase from Bella Napoli was a birthday cake (Chocolate cake), Since I don’t like desserts that are overly sweet,so except white cream, i really enjoyed the chocolate ganache they used in the cake. Later on, we tried their mini éclairs, chocolate rollino, and chocolate pastry. The items were so delicious, and the sweetness was perfectly balanced, liked them a lot. Although the shop is always busy, the staff are very hardworking and friendly.

Cutest little place with lots of items to choose from. I wasn't lucky to find something I liked. I got two plain cannoli's, one pistachio cannoli, a run cake and cheesecake. Only thing good was the cheesecake. The cannoli's had some small diced up fruity something, totally ruined them. But it was a cute place, I just wouldn't go back if I was in town.

Usually the staffs are friendly but not this morning. Older lady there today stay me in the face never ask if I’m being help or need help. Young lady came from the back to help me. Rude and horrible customer service. Definitely would stop coming here.

I have had their baked goods over the years and it is delicious, just stopping in with no preorder. However I unfortunately did not have a good experience as far as ordering ahead for these cupcakes. It was for a coworkers baby shower that was for her miracle baby. She wasn’t even going to host a baby shower for herself so this was it. She’s also a big dessert girl so to have this be the outcome was very disappointing. I called in advance, almost 2 weeks ago prior to the 4th of July weekend and asked for vanilla cupcakes, blueberry filling and cream cheese frosting with a lavender colored frosting. They confirmed it could be done during the holiday. I show up today as planned and they lost the order. None of the cupcakes were ready. They ask and confirm on my phone if I actually placed the order here, double checking the location of the call which I understand why they asked but at the same time made me feel a type of way as if I made the error when it was their mistake. The head person asks me what kind of cupcakes i ordered and “if I wanted sprinkles?” as if it would make the situation all better. He didn’t ask what it was for, when the cupcakes needed to be ready by, take the time to make a potential plan that would work for both of us. He just decided that he’s got some vanilla cupcakes in the back that they’ll wipe the frosting off and pipe the blueberry filling. At this point I said just add regular frosting instead of the cream cheese lavender color because I’m feeling defeated and I not a conflict type person which I guess is my fault. Then they come out with the cupcakes show me what they made which is the pictures below. Prior to seeing my cupcakes I see the other person next to me have a beautiful custom cake made. I’m feeling an embarrassed to give these cupcakes to her that clearly look like a mistake with these residual sprinkles and I’m gonna have to fix it. They charged me $1 per cupcake making it $20 ish. I get they baked those goods but given the circumstances of what I asked for and what I got, I really should have paid nothing. I get mistakes happened. But what I care more about is that it didn’t feel like they cared about what it was for or the significance. They just wanted to fulfill the order and move on. I’m very disappointed in the lack of empathy of the situation. Unfortunately I don’t know if I will order ahead here again based off that encounter.

I have finally had it. Every time I go to get some subs from here it takes so damn long. I have never seen people move so slowly. And you cant say the people are new, the guy has been there for months...3 subs should NOT take over 15 mins to make and it was not busy at all. They need to fix this because I am going to stop going till something is done about it!

I was in town for a work event, and someone suggested I try Bella Napoli. First and last time going to this place. I'm originally from Naples Italy, and although I didn't have high expectations, I did expect them to be fresh and have flavor resembling a pastry. Not the case here. Everything we tried tasted and smelled stale. Cannoli shells were mushy and stale, filling was old and dry, with no taste of ricotta. Baba' had no rum flavor at all or any flavor for that matter. Lobster claw shell was stale like they had been left out for days. The box of cookies that say cookies and biscotti have only one biscotto in the box and had no flavor. It's so misleading. Everything went in the garbage.

I genuinely don’t understand the hype around this place. I tried one of their cupcakes after hearing people rave about it, and it was honestly one of the worst cupcakes I’ve ever had. It didn’t taste homemade or bakery-fresh at all. It tasted like a packaged snack cake, not a real cupcake. The cake itself didn’t even have a true cake flavor, and the frosting tasted artificial and bland. Very disappointing, especially given how much people praise this place. On top of that, the customer service was not welcoming or polite. No warmth, no basic courtesy.
