The Fresh Mediterranean Co. This place is in a gas station and setup like Chipotle. Build your own bowl! Z approved. The chicken was well marinated and cooked to perfection. Rice was buttery and the perfect texture and flavor you expect from Mediterranean food. Beef kufta was juicy and was a solid mix cooked but not dry. I added Mediterranean pickles and plenty of Toum ( Basically crushed garlic paste. ) and some tzatzki which used greek yogurt so a little more punch than normal. We always order fries since Z our 2 year old tries a little from ours and even those were well seasoned. This concept is one I talked about opening many times in Kansas City with the shift to fast casuals. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the Lawrence area.

A gas station is what you see when you arrive and immediately you doubt your choice and you doubt google. Challenge your doubts and push yourself through the doors. That is what we did and it was wonderful. Without a doubt, it was the best med food we have had in the KCK/KCMO area in the last 6 years. Filling and good value. Would definitely revisit.

Holy Moly! My daughter always talks about this place and the time finally arrived I was in town to try it! Noooo disappointment whatsoever 👏🏻 Yes, it's part of a gas station and yes, it is all fresh and so tasty! I've been to the Middle East and this humus tasted just like I remember 😌 Huge portions and the bowls; chicken shawarma & gyro were a hit along with the tzatziki, garlic sauce & cilantro lime sauce🙌🏻 I'll be returning! Once you taste the dishes, you know you have come to the right place! This is a very nice Mediterranean restaurant "hidden" inside a gasoline station. The dining ambience is pretty bare, but the food and service are superb! I thought the falafel were cooked just right, nice and crisp, not too powdery. If you order a bowl, remember you have your choice of specifying how much rice, etc. is used.

Love this place, it's a hidden jewel. I love their shawarma. It's great in the wrap or bowl they sell. Their veggies and sauces are always fresh and taste great. The staff are always super friendly and always give me excellent service. I would definitely recommend it if you haven't tried it.

My entire family has loved this place ever since it used to be called Chebaro. I love the chicken rice bowl with a side of falafels- so delicious!! Chef is very friendly too!

There aren't enough words to describe how delicious the food is at this wonderful spot. I had the chicken bowl and some falafel and my friend had the beef pita wrap. My bowl was absolutely fantastic. My friends wrap was spectacular, the beef was moist and flavorful. Everything was prepared fresh right before our eyes and worth every penny. The gentleman that prepared our meal was so nice, I can't wait to go back and try something new. So worth the drive from Olathe.

Great first experience, got a bowl, wrap, falafel, and hummus. They kept apologizing for our 3 min or so wait for the fresh cooked falafel which I have 0 issue with. Would have gladly waited 10 min for a meal this awesome.

This place is inside of a gas station. The food was really good quality, I particularly liked the hummus, it was extra good hummus. The way they let you build your plates and bowls is really nice and fresh. The biggest downside for me is nothing was labeled as spicy at all and all the meats were Very spicy to me, so if you have a sensitive palate this may not be the place for you. Now I know I have a Very sensitive palate however my husband does not and he actually said that his was quite spicy as well

Food was tasty but a bit on the salty side. Portion sizes were very filling! I think it's the most hummus I've ever eaten in one sitting. Staff was friendly and made us fresh falafel. Overall, I'd say a 3.5 experience just because of the saltiness but we'll definitely go again.

I will preface this by saying that I started going to this restaurant when they first came to Lawrence. They didn’t even have tables back then. There were two employees when they first started. I went yesterday for a gyros sandwich and I was very disappointed. The pita bread was paper thin and didn’t hold up. It tire into pieces. The meat was great but it was messy. I had a pickup order and when I hit to work I discovered they forgot napkins, utensils and the tzatziki sauce I had ordered. I was very disappointed since I had paid for extra sauce. If someone has a pickup order, utensils and napkins should be included. It was assembly line food with little interaction. There were many workers and it has lost its personal touch. This place used to be so good. I'm not sure if it's because of new management, but it has really gone downhill. The lamb/beef gyros were a hit, but no more. Then just yesterday, they didnt even have any ready, and I didn't have the 20 minutes it was going to take. Which was a bummer, because I really wanted to give them another chance. Maybe in a couple months.
