The manager was super friendly and helpful. Ordered the chicken fajita nachos. I was going to get them to go, but the place was so clean I decided to eat there. By the way, they were awesome. Will definitely be back.
My Saturday mornings are totally complete by having my orders always well taken care of. Miss Amanda the General Manager is awesome! Definitely knows her stuff! Always has great advice for my order and a smile on her face!
Great food and service was good
Best place for "fast" tacos and open 24 hours. I have been going here for quite some time, and they have never made a mistake on my order, which I highly value. They make things fresh and to order. The spice is also not too much, so it is suitable for if you want a taco but want to take it easy on your digestive system.
First time my wife I have eaten at a Taco Cabana. We were very pleased! Great menu options, large servings, tasty salsa, + quick and courteous customer service! Win Win! We’ll be back!!!!
End of June 2022. Ordered an evening meal during mid week for my card group. Tried the large steak fajitas order, with the extra condiments. Picked up a frozen peach cobbler ealier at the neighborhood store. Everyone enjoyed the food, and some took home left-overs bag. Hey Chef Gordon, Restaurant Quality food was served at my home, WOW! Will be back.
Yo just had a really great experience at Taco Cabana! Just met an employee there, his name Jay, very outgoing and willing to make sure customers are well taken care of. Keep up the good work guys!!
Taco Cabana is a sleeper pick in the fast food world or maybe I have been oblivious. Reasonable prices, good options, and the margaritas are the icing on the cake. It's not tbell cheap but that's ok. Solid pick if you need to mix it up. Good service at this location the times my wife and I have been here

Consistently quality food. I usually order curbside because I am disabled. The staff is always polite and professional. I pull up and they bring my order right out. SO MUCH BETTER than the other locations I have ordered from.
This location is always super consistent and high quality. And I always have incredibly complicated orders. Whole heartedly recommend this location.
We went late at night. The guy taking orders was new. He apologized for his lack of speed. But he was kind and knew the menu well. We ordered, grabbed our food and left. The food was hot and fresh. It was made to order. And all of our requests were met. The restaurant was clean. The parking lot was well lit and easy to navigate. For a taco cabana - it was a good one.

I get breakfast Tacos like 3 times a week before work and Martha in the morning always on drie thru window always speaks to us customers with patience and respect never rushing me and always ask if I need any salsa with that!!! And recently I've been getting dinner there because another Martha always gives me my meal at its freshest and tastes with a smile on her face food always comes correct
I order from here at least once a week for work meetings. Online ordering makes it so easy and the staff at the Surf St location are so friendly- and the food is always ready on time and delicious! Thanks!
The food was fresh, hot and really good. The price point for the product was appropriate and worth it. The place seems lime a chain but it was clean and the service friendly. I will certainly eat here again.
Always good. Never had a bad experience at this particular location. Never been too croweded either which makes it perfect for my lively bunch of munchkins. My husband ALWAYS orders the fajitas and prefers taco cabana over bigger chain mexican restaurants. Kids meals are perfect size for my picky 8 year old. I eat here because of their salsa ranch.... OMG you can put it on everything. 💜
This location serves the food consistently fresh and offers a comfortable and spacious dining area. One disappointment is that Taco Cabana has recently increased their prices across all of the menu items but has made no change in their items (e.i. no bigger portions, no additional items included, no better quality, etc.) that would justify paying MORE for the same items. Taco Cabana needs to address this and offer a better VALUE to their customers to achieve more LOYAL customers!
You really can't beat Taco Cabana for their fresh tortillas, even fancier sit-down Tex Mex restaurants don't come close. The salsa bar is great too. This location is a go-to for breakfast tacos and for steak fajitas.
The food was great. It came out fast, hot, and just as we ordered. They lost a star because all the dining tables were dirty. We told the staff, but they took such a long time to clean it we ended up cleaning our own.
Was prepared very quickly and it was correct as ordered. Food was done neatly and identified with stickers on wrapping. the place is fairly clean and the staff is good. I come here often and have never had a bad experience.
Tried their hatch chili pork street taco seasonal item. Very good and surprisingly filling. Very reasonably priced. Friends had burritos and rolled tacos. Everybody liked their food quite a bit.
Food was good but the place is a bit rundown. The building needs some attention and they should probably scrub the place down head to toe. I hadn't been here in years but was in the area and needed some lunch so stopped in to a place I am familiar with. But I would probably find another place that has decent tacos that's a bit cleaner next time. I washed my hands twice -once after leaving the bathroom and twice upon leaving the restaurant.
Received 2 free chicken fajita tacos thru their app. Very nice. They should put coke products back on their list, otherwise everything was good!
Service was prompt and efficient. Food was really so so for me. Maybe, I'm just not used to Taco Cabana. The tables needed to be wiped off, and we were the only people in the restaurant besides staff. The experience was ok to me. If you like Taco Cabana, this location will fit the bill.

Amazing Taco Cabana location! The woman working the drive-thru is the best thing for this location. She is remarkable! I wish I knew her name. So sweet, kind, and always serves customers with a warm smile. Wow- what a drive-thru experience. Bar none, better than any other fast food place around. Fast service, good food, and great salsa!
From drive thru, ordered chicken bowl with black beans, no shell. Received in shell with refried beans. Ordered beef bowl no sour cream, got sour cream. Asked for extra roja salsa and received no salsa whatsoever. Staff was pleasant, but disappointed in order correctness. This type of thing has happened almost every time visited in the last few months. Guess I will need to go inside and watch them put everything together???
I saw a billboard for the frito pie quesadilla and I wanted one so bad! I ordered without jalapeños...and I was told that wasn't possible. What a disappointment. I ordered a cheese quesadilla and it was pretty good....but I'm still disappointed. I really wanted frito pie...with NO jalapeños.
I was less than impressed with our visit today. Food service was slower than it should be. The pico looked like it had been out for a couple of days, not fresh at all. And the overall cleanliness of the store was subpar. A fresh set of managerial eyes needs to walk through and note the dust, cobwebs, dirty tables and burned out lights... and that's just what can be seen from the dining room.
I love the food, but they never seem to have enough employees working. On Friday night about 7, they had 4 people working. One working the drive through window, one at counter/ drive thru, one person filing the orders. The drive thru line was almost out the parking lot. Trash cans were over flowing, and the tables were sticky. The staff was friendly, but looked tired.
Slow service, new kid on the counter, workers in the back were helping to get our large order placed. People seemed friendly and helpful, food was okay. A little short on the chicken in my chicken salad, but the flavor was good.

Most times I'm satisfied with the amount of meat in tacos but this location seems to have been hit by Bidenflation! The tacos were very thin and will go in next time to see if that's the new standard!
Eat here a lot , its good most of the time. They will mess up your order very once in a while. Breakfast tacos are what we get most. My 4 yr old loves the breakfast tacos here. Update : dropping a star, messed up my simple order twice in a row now.
I am giving 3 stars because in the dining room there was one coke machine it didn't have Dr. Pepper on it had there not been an employee filling the ice I would not have known they had Dr. Pepper in the first place. I never would have returned. Otherwise it was great the place was empty.
Ordered a double crunch and a taco plate. Sat at drive thru window for 7 minutes before being given my taco plate and drink. I was then told that they have to cook my double crunch and it will take 5 minutes. They asked me to park around the front. I parked and waited about 8 minutes. I went in and asked where my double crunch is. They were rude and acted like I was being impatient even though I was waiting over 15 minutes. Another person came over about 5 minutes later and asked what the issue was. I told him that at this point, I had been waiting 20 minutes to get my food. He told me they were out of the shells for double crunches and had to make some. Everyone acted like I was being inpatient by having to wait over 20 minutes to get fast food. No offer to refund or anything.
Food is good, the place was clean and no flies were present when you enter. There was however a smell that sort of ruins the atmosphere. Not sure if it was the water used to mop the floor or the stuff used to wipe down the tables. The smell was not present when you enter the restaurant and place your order. You smell it when you go to find a table to sit at.
i order out from y'all all the time but y'all have GOT to stop putting the queso in the container with the flautas when i order chips and queso. the plastic MELTS and the little cup bursts and the queso gets all over the flautas and gets them soggy. i get that you're trying to keep the queso warm, but doing it at the expense of the flautas is frustrating
I order 2 dozen breakfast tacos often, I do the order online and not once have they been ready at the allotted time. And to top that off they don’t answer the phone so you end up going on even if you request curbside.
Our cashier could barely speak or understand English. One of our kids ordered small fajita and she apparently put in a family meal. Half of our order was forgotten and when they brought it out finally it was wrong. The food was not as good as we have had in the past at other TCs. Disappointed.
Our family enjoys eating at TC, but this is the worst one we've been to. We didn't mind waiting a little bit for our order but you'd expect the food to be good. Instead we got oily rice, burnt onions and peppers that were inedible, tiny tortillas and lettuce, cheese and pico enough for only 2. The only saving grace were the borracho beans and chicken. We complained to the mgr, but he did nothing. Last time we set foot on this location.
Reliable food at fair prices but agonizingly slow. Ordered online at 9:58 AM. Was promised a 1030 AM pickup. 32 minutes for breakfast tacos is absurd. Food was finally ready at 1050. Nearly an hour for fast food is not acceptable to me. I'll try Rosa's next time.
Staff were rude and not very helpful. Left us standing at the counter for almost 5 minutes when all we wanted were refills and the drive-thru line was not that busy. Restaurant dine-in area was closed for COVID-19 so we sat outside. I love the Taco Cabana laser cut sheet metal outside and their star light fixtures. Breakfast burritos were made fresh, but were pretty bland. They don't offer brisket any more on the menu which is one of the only reasons I went to TC. I won't be going back to this location.
Unfortunately this location no longer carries any other sides or toppings other than their regular salsa. This wouldn't be a problem except that most of their tacos are fairly dry and the regular salsa can be very watery and unappetizing. You're better off visiting another Taco Cabana location if you can.
This store is a joke. I had to walk in because the store canceled my doordash order and the manager with crooked teeth and satanic tattoo refused to serve me. I had doordash on the phone and he still refused to assist me. All I wanted was a damn been and cheese nacho and cheese quesadilla. This is the same manager who spilled queso all over my daughters shoes one time. I couldn’t believe he was still employed. The only right in all this is doordash is investigating the dasher and the store for poor handling. They even recorded the manager refusing to assist me. Hopefully doordash will end their agreement with this location
I have been eating with TC for years upon years. This location is the closest to my home yet i drive past it to other locations. The staff was stable for years and the restaurant was clean. Now i see a new face each visit and it is never really clean. It just is not well run. UPDATE My post here is aimed at Corporate leadership. Your menu changes too often. I find something that I like and start visiting again....but then it is taken off the menu. Breakfast burritos, sometimes. Shredded stewed chicken, sometimes. Chicken enchiladas, sometimes. Smothered burritos, sometimes. I have too many choices of great Mexican food to waste my time on your menu guessing games. Please create a stable menu.
Went thru the drive-thru..... attendant was very undriendly...... Manager was Absolutely RUDE!!! Terrible experience!!!!
Although the food was ok, the place was really dirty. Outside the tables were a mess and it looked like they hadn't clean at all during the day. Flies and bugs were in the soda machines and also the toppings didn't looked fresh. There is a Taco Bell on the other side, I bet it would be cleaner than this restaurant.
They have to tell customers “the salsa bar hasn’t been in use for over two years now at this location because of our management” Not a single sign that says it’s not in use, or, get rid of the island! they charge for sauce now, exactly the opposite of their old branding and reasons people loved them.
First visit there evening of 7-9-19.What can I say? If I could have pulled out of line and driven off that's what I would have done! People in line turned off engines on their cars because we were sitting there for so long. I had ordered 3 small items with chicken.When I finally got to the window the girl said "Do you mind if your order was made with steak?" It looked awful,was cold, have no idea what was happening there. Never again.
So yeah I know it's taco cabana so my expectations shouldn't be high buuuut I had a terrible experience. Not only did the first lady barely want to take my order but half way through they switched and she had no idea what she was doing. Why? I really don't know but when we got to the window all they did was take my money and not say a single word not even a simple thank you. If you hate your life I'm sorry but I just wanted some enchiladas and queso not sass and rolled eyes. If you are reading this review to go there do yourself a favor and just go to taco Bell across the street.
They just couldn't get it right. I ordered 2 fajita tacos with peppers/onions added lettuce. I checked and I got corn tortillas and meat only. When I asked for a side of peppers/onions/lettuce at the window instead of having to have them remak them, she gave me lettuce only and said she didn't hear me say peppers/onions, handed me the lettuce and closed the window and walked away. I only give one star cause the meat and tortillas were good.
IF YOU CAN STOP AT ANY OTHER TACO CABANA PLEASE DO. I walk in about 7:15am and the time is now 7:34am there were two people ahead of me in line and I just had my order taken. One employee walked in around 7:24am with her hair down, on her phone and wiping snot all on her arm/jacket. Without washing her hands she puts her hair in a braid and starts prepping tacos/taking orders. Not only did they stare at me for twenty minutes but they walked the other way when I asked if my order could be taken. The tacos were trash, the salsa sucked and the employees were rude. I will never order tacos from Taco Cabana for any of my meetings.
30 min wait in drive through with 2 cars ahead of me. Got 6 breakfast burritos all the same. They got order wrong and undercharged me. I just asked for my money back which took more time. I hope this was an anomaly.
Can't make taco salads. Always a long wait in drive thru. Had to park and go in once. Wasn't even being prepared. Used to be good but now go to the other one which needs to be closed.
Almost never get an order right the first time. The staff doesn't care they made a mistake and anytime they have gotten the order wrong have never offered an apology. The food is good but, when will management look at the reviews on how poor their Customer Service is?
I think this place needs a good manager. Placed my order and sat down noticing the salsa bar was totally empty nothing was ever put out on it. My food was brought to me in a bag as if hinting for me to leave. A family came in behind me and their food was taken to them on plates. It's going to be a VERY long time before I attempt to go back here again.
When I walked in, I waited 2 minutes until someone acknowledged me to take my order. When I received my tacos, the chicken was dry. When I told him, he replied, "I know". So I'm assuming that, they knew they were, but just didn't care enough to give me fresh ones. The lobby was filthy, but meanwhile, the teenage members were enjoying their time outside on the patio with their drinks...
The honey has the consistency of water and the soapillas taste like POO POO ! Not to mention the way the ground beef looks….all I could think about while eating my meal was POO! I hurled brownish green chunks onto the floor while I was running to the bathroom, as I came out an employee put a “wet floor sign” over it and went back to cooking! This establishment provided the worst possible experience and is quite possibly one of the most unsanitary places in Lewisville.
I am never going to this one again. It seems every time i go there, something is messed up. I don't know if its under new management within the last few years or what, but this place is no good. I'm going to the one on 3040&35 from now on. Today i ordered the dozen tacos... had to wait 15 minutes when there was hardly anyone else. The potatoes tasted like, and had they texture of, old frozen fries that had been sitting out for hours and there were some hard frozen ones in there, the tortillas were gross..... when I've gone to get the flautas there before they were extremely burned and greasy and gross. NEVER going there again.
Dirty restaurant and they don't know what proper portions to give customers. There was absolutely nobody in the drive-thru or inside and they made me pull around and wait for my food, only for me to take it right back to them for my refund. Stay away from this location. Actually, they all seem to be on a rapid decline. Taco Bell is across the street!!
There is a worker here by the name of Inaz who is extremely rude to customers. Not sure why she is still working here after being reported multiple times. Today was my last straw. Her title is Assistant Manager. I heard her yelling at a customer through the speaker at the drive-thru. How unprofessional. Because of her nasty attitude I will no longer be going to this location so I left.
They messed up my order. Excluded 2 of the 4 items. I realized after I drove home. Then when I called they told me to come back. I had to drive all the way back and I live far just to get a refund. When I asked for gift card or something for inconvenience, they said no. Bad customer service and awful experience for us.
I placed an order from this location through DoorDash on 11/09 at 8:00am. The order was for 4 tacos with potato, bacon, and cheese. When our order arrived it was 4 tacos with potato, egg, and cheese. This order cost us $14. We phoned the store because this was an obvious mistake on their part, not DoorDash. The manager, she never said her name, basically told us that one of her workers had messed up and gave the Dasher the wrong order and that there was nothing they could do for us. So we paid $14 for nothing. No refund. No redelivery. I would highly recommend NOT going to this establishment if you want any kind of good customer service because the manager and the workers are complete idiots.
First and LAST time coming to this location! Food and customer service was HORRiBLE! When I first pulled up the parking lot was empty so I immediately thought "This might not be the place to eat for the night". Gave it a try anyway and ended up disappointed. Ordered a chicken fajita bowl and had to ask that it be re-made over with fresh hot chicken. Chicken was cold and burnt. I love Taco Cabana, but will never return to this location!!!
Ordered taco box through drive thru. It took them 25 min to get order to me. It would have taken longer had i not gone inside and realized they left my order 1/4 of the way done and had gone on to other customers. Waiting made me late for work when i had scheduled plenty of time to stop. I even let the cashier know i was on my way to work when she asked me to pull around. She acted as if she was irritated that i ordered a whole box of breakfast tacos 15 to 20 min before breakfast hours ended. Was NOT happy.
Never had a great experience when i order at night. I ordered beef burritos. Should come with beand beed chili and cheese. All i got was beef and cheese. And other nights i have stuff missing. Customer service is horribe. Really rude everynight. Never coming back again this was the last time.
They should go ahead and close this location and put themselves and the community out of their misery. My order was late and Incomplete. And when I got home, they left out a while container. Come on. There are only 3 items in this order, and they left one out? Sad. Every few months I try them again. Because I LOVE what they can do! But again, they failed.
This is my first time at this restaurant where I purchase something for dinner I figured that this place will be good because my job ordered breakfast burritos before and they were good maybe this night it was a bad day to go I ordered the Mexican pizza that came with a drink and I was told they removed the drink they no longer give it out with that meal so I ordered a number one which is two tacos beef and nachos queso and a drink let's just say the amount of food for the amount of money there was no comparison the amount of food was way less than the price I could have gotten a full meal with dessert. Ate the food and immediately the next night I was sick. The tacos was soggy the salsa was old the only thing that actually had a decent flavor was the queso not even the chips were good they were greasy and overcooked, all around I had a terrible experience this time around at least at the one on main Street in Lewisville
The menu screens are broken, the condiment island is broken, all the tables are nasty, and me and my wife sat on the patio just to have to walk around the building to get back in because they started that they don't unlock the patio door 😞 we are very disappointed with the conditions of this Lewisville location.... not to mention that the fountain drinks were flat. We hope that management takes care of it 🙏 because we love us some TACO CABANA!!!!!
Horrible experience this morning I’m so saddddddd omgggg this lady at the window doesn’t even greet me just looks at me too pay, and then charges me wrong… sadly this is pretty bad … she ended up charging me twice didn’t give me a receipt either this has never happened too me :( they are usually so quick with my order and they too 15 minutes noooo I’m so sad I can’t I won’t be coming back due too this experience:/
Sat in the drive through for 20 minutes at 9pm with no service even pulled up the window and was completely ignored. Went inside and was ignored for another 5 minutes with multiple people walking by and looking right at me. Finally after asking “are you closed?” I was helped. Store closes at 10pm. Zero reason for this poor on service on a Friday night.
NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!! My husband and I went through the drive thru and the lady just had a bad attitude from the start!! They advertise breakfast being available any time but when my husband tried to order something from the breakfast menu the lady interrupted him and said " we don't have that, we're not serving breakfast" so he politely ordered something else even though she was being extremely unprofessional!!! And also we felt very rushed even though they were open for 2 more hours! She kept asking if there was anything else before my husband would even finish what he was saying! He was nothing but nice to her so at that point I was extremely irritated for the way she treated him so we left and didn't even finish the order!! I understand working in the food industry can be very exhausting and very irritating because I've worked in the industry before but there was no reason for the unprofessional bad attitude! Maybe not everyone has had this experience at this location but after the AWFUL customer service I would absolutely NOT recommend coming here! If there was an option for negative stars I would rate it negative 5 ⭐
I rarely post anything either good or bad. But it is unacceptable to wait 40 min and 19 seconds for fast food. 16 min of that was waiting in line while no one was at the register. We should have just left and gone somewhere else despite $2 margaritas. Other reviews seem to echo my experience. You should avoid coming here unless you want to be frustrated beyond measure.
Walked in was not even acknowledged by any of the staff, stood there for 5min. Looking at the menu then one of the girls yelled "wedo!!" and a guy came out from the side, sat in the freezer box dining area, 47F outside and the dining room heater wasn't working (staff said they didn't know how to work the thermostat) read 64F with cold air blowing out the vents, food was half decent, saltest enchiladas I've ever eaten, orange drink tasted like cough syrup, and unless you're a speed eater then your food is going to get cold before you can finish it.... if you can get that far into it, needed something else and again staff refuses to acknowledge anybody standing at the counter, no wonder these places are hardly around anymore, $62 down the drain
Hurry in before the board of health stops by! They probably won't be open. Smelly bathrooms. Trash inside and out. Dirty tables and chairs. Cold food from a staff that can't get a few simple items right. Steak instead of chicken. Quesadilla with couple of peices of chicken for $8. Ice tea open for flies to drink. Wow I could go on but i'm making myself sick again.
Not sure what's going on with this lady but appears she got upset because I let her know that I could not understand what she was saying and no disrespect brother English is very bad And I could not understand what she was saying And the only thing I wanted was five chicken tacos And she did not explain what I was getting or anything like that so I got the five chicken tacos which is great The order was right however I didn't know that it came with tomatoes on it because she didn't explain it to me So to be quite honest with you from a corporate level it sounds like a training issue
Seen a video online about the $1.50 happy hour Margaritas today nothing was mentioned in the video or online once I checked on the website that you needed to purchase food in order to buy The margaritas the lady at the window manager Martha was very rude and when I requested the number to corporate she told me to Google it. best believe I did it and will be escalating this because if that is the rule it should state it on the website and advertisement on the building.
Tortillas tasted like the were frozen and heated up. Sauces were not fresh. Chicken Fajita was chewy and chips were stale. It used to be good food here. His that's over and $30 for 2 lunches that sucked, no thanks
Arrived 20 min before closing. We waited at the drive through for the minutes. After no acknowledgement, we pulled up to the windows. The woman inside was cooking and looked as us several times. She rufused to aknowledge us and after 15 minutes of waiting we left because it was clear she was not going to serve us.
Pulled up at 11:18. No one came on the speaker at the drive thru. Went to the window, worker completely ignored us.
I went to order a steak fajita taco plate for my husband and normally that get it right but this time they tried to kill him by putting onions on it when I specifically said no onions and peppers among other things he can’t have. This location has lost our business for good.
This restaurant says that they close at 1 am. We arrived for drive through at 12:45. As we drove up, we saw an employee shaking his head at us. We got to the drive through, and no one would answer us when we tried to order. We were aware that they were about to close, however, a professional employee should respect his company’s business hours rather than refusing service to paying customers simply because he would like to go home. Management at this restaurant should take notice that they’re employees are taking it upon themselves to close the restaurant early.
