The staff is always excellent. Always polite very respectful. The food is awesome from the pork ends to the ribs they are cooked perfect and very flavorful. The meat just falls off the ribs. Some of the best green beans.
I used them in the Liberty Hill store. I ordered catering for 60 people. They were very helpful through the order process. I decided at the last minute to have them deliver. They came with great attitudes and set everything up for us. I will definitely use them again for catering.
We catered food for about 200 people at our women's event at Generations Church from this location. It was a great experience. Everything was ready on time, packaged easily for transporting, and tasted delicious. We will use them again in the future.
Food was hot and everything was available at 6pm on Sunday nightly. They normally sell out of of chicken, ribs, and baked potatoes by 6:30 but had them all this trip. Customer service is really good and has seen much improvement from 6-7 months ago. Highly recommend and also try some of their awesome desserts!! Pies, cakes, pudding.

I’ve been eating Smokey Mo’s for 20 years. There are lots of OK, overpriced BBQ places in central Texas. I appreciate the MO’s has consistently produced great BBQ at reasonable prices. I would put their moist brisket up against any place in town.
Went in for pickup and the employees were all so very polite and friendly! Not to mention our food was ready only 8 minutes after we placed the order online, which was very convenient! Very happy all around!
Service at all the Smokey Mo's is always good, but I think this one is the best. The food is tasty, but, honestly, all the BBQ places are charging a little bit more than they're worth. Quik Trip's BBQ sandwiches are just as good as Smokey Mo's or Black's or Rudy's or wherever. Now I only go to Smokey Mo's when family is in town rather than weekly. All the locations are always clean, and the tables are always clean, which I appreciate.
The ribs and mac n cheese tasted very good for a quick bite. Many more items that look great to try off the menu and customer service was nice.
We actually ate at Smokey Mo’s in Liberty Hill twice during the last month. We first went in because of a birthday reward and enjoyed our meal so much that we returned again a couple of weeks later (and even ordered almost the same things). The food was very good (2 meat bbq plate with 2 sides). We will definitely be back again. Be sure to download the app for some good deals!
Delicious BBQ! The brisket was moist and full of flavor, the pork ribs were tender, and the chicken was juicy and perfectly smoked. Great spot for real Texas BBQ!

Almost deserted restaurant, but we got there after the lunch crowd. Service is fast and friendly. Food was really great and large portions. The pickled carrots are out of this world! I had the 2 meat plate and took 1/2 home. Green beans are always a good side dish too. Smokey MO’s is always good and I love their BBQ sauce that they sell.
It’s a vibe!! And the food is AMAZING!!!!!!!! Like you want to get the brisket and the chicken AND the turkey!!!! Everyone is so so sooooo nice and they made me feel right at home. I’m new to Texas and had never heard of this place. I’m telling you right now, this is officially a weekly staple in my home!!!!! Great food. Amazing customer service and even better food. I didn’t think to take photos until after I did my taste test and demolished half of what I got lol.
It was nearly a 1 hour drive, but that's what I think of the Smokey Mo's smoked turkey. If I am in striking distance, I'm coming in hot 🔥 My family has been eating this smoked turkey for decades and we've never come close to finding another at the same level. Whatcha waiting for? Gobble, gobble folks 🦃🤤 (p.s. I also had a breakfast taco to tide me over on the nearly one hour return drive.)
My wife just came back from lunch with a special from Smokey Mo's which is a chop Baker with a side and drink. Very disappointed in the potato. Looks like it's a half a potato instead of a whole potato.
Food was good but didn't have a good smoky flavor. Jalapeño sausage was not spicy, the sauce was spicier and it was just a little spicy and didn't have good flavor. Cream corn was good but needed more corn. Staff was friendly and the place was clean except the men's room needed attention.
Get your employees in line. If you close at 9, why are you letting your employees cost you $$$ by turning the "open" sign off early? I walked in & walked right back out when 2 employees with backward caps rolled their eyes at me when they saw me. Yes, you only lost out on about $15 today, but... if your employees had not made it seem like an inconvenience to take care of someone 20 minutes before closing, who knows how much I would have spent here in the future? Won't be back to this or any other location. Attached pics were taken at 8:40pm
I paid for 3/4 pound of turkey and received 1/4 pound I went back in and asked saying it did not seem like it was 3/4 pound and they said it was. So I weighed it when I got home and I was correct it’s is only 1/4 pound of turkey. Horrible service
Pretty disappointed I ordered breakfast tacos with bacon when I got home. They were all brisk. I thought I could eat them but they’re pretty awful and I’m throwing them away. I’d like my money back. I called the store. They said they didn’t have bacon. Well if you didn’t have bacon you could’ve called me or even asked me if there’s something else I wanted instead of just giving me something and I get home and they’re terrible because now I have nothing to eat. It’s not like they didn’t have other choices. I would’ve gladly taken sausage over brisket. ** the frustrating thing is that when I called the store they just said well we didn’t wanna send you home empty-handed OK but why didn’t you give me the choice for something I would’ve wanted AND They didn’t want to give me my money back
