Delicious food and great atmosphere. We had a big table, with complicated orders and Maddie was amazing throughout, amazing service from her (especially when the kitchen didn’t have something we wanted, she made brilliant suggestions of alternatives for us).

Lovely service by the wonderful Mia she was very sweet nothing was a problem I’m gluten free always amazing selection never a worry when I eat here! Food came out piping hot. We had Prosecco on the house as we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary which was a lovely surprise

Bills a great restaurant in the heart on Tunbridge Wells. It offers indoor & outdoor seating & is open for breakfast, bruch, lunch & dinner. It is dog & family friendly. They have high chairs & children's menu. They offered a great range of gluten, vegan & vegetarian options. We loved our breakfast at Bills. The service was friendly & efficient. Food was cooked with top quality ingredients & was so fresh & flavourful. The squash was beautifully roasted & sweet. Drinks list was extensive serving hot drinks, juices, smoothies, moju shots, cocktails, mocktails beer & and impressive wine list. I only wish we had a chance to have an evening meal there!

Just had a wonderful Christmas meal with the family at Bill’s Tunbridge Wells. 10 of us, including 4 children aged 6-11. The atmosphere is really great, the staff super helpful, an ideal venue for families, Bill’s is perfect for us as we have 3 coeliacs + 2 vegetarians in the family and the staff are super hot on their allergen advice. Great range of dishes for everyone, so no one feels left out and there is plenty of choice. Food is great quality and the children’s meals are prepared to a high standard using quality ingredients. Special shout out to Julia ❤️ who went above and beyond looking after us for the afternoon, ensuring the order was precisely taken catering for allergens and ensure the kids were catered for. She really made sure we had a great time. Good value, excellent service and quality food, who could ask for more.

Always busy, so make sure you either book or go there early at busy times. Menu always very good and chef makes it real quality with a lot of care👌🏼! We had brunch and coffee. Very nice gluten-free options and made a d served with a lot of love. Atmosphere great, busy but waiters friendly and caring.

Lovely Sunday brunch! Staff are friendly and welcoming and don’t walk past you without greeting. Service was spot on, and meals were delicious and generous. Fairly priced for such a nice area. 10/10 recommended

We love this branch of Bills in Tunbridge Wells. It’s so cosy and has a beautiful layout. The service was perfect and the staff are so accommodating and friendly. The food was out of this world. Thank you Bill’s! We will be back. Highly recommend.

I had a delicious hot chocolate and infinite pancakes. They were absolutely incredible and well priced. I come here most fridays to enjoy the end of the week. Thanks Alissia you were amazing! ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

Lovely brunch/early dinner. Had the burger and partner had the pancakes. Also shared the loaded duck fries. Really friendly service, food was excellent, look forward to visiting again. Julia was our very helpful server.

Five of us had brunch/breakfast. The porridge is absolutely delicious and I can fully recommend it. Everyone else had different dishes which were equally delicious. The restaurant was extremely busy but the service was good. Unfortunately there were a few noisy children but there was still a good vibe. Will definitely return

We had a quick snacks for Friday lunch and it was our first time to use our voucher in Three Mobile. I was amazed how our BILLS in the end. It was absolutely delicious, the service was great too! Our table service is JULIA and she is very charming and approachable person ! Over all , it was fantastic meal and great experience that always makes us keep coming back again again !! Thanks for your hospitality! What a lovely weekend to enjoy our moments !!!

Had a lovely early evening meal at Bill's.The chicken shawarma and chicken burger were both delicious. We were well looked after by Daisy, who gave us her recommendations for food and kept everything moving along!

We had a wonderful brunch at Bill’s today! Special thanks to Alissia, who was incredibly friendly and attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even took extra care to mention important considerations for special requests during pregnancy which I really appreciated.

Such a great restaurant! Staff so polite and friendly. Food delicious. Fun atmosphere and you can hear each other talk! Good vfm in this day and age, with so many restaurants in Tunbridge Wells.

Emily was our waitress at Bill's in Tunbridge Wells and could not have been more inviting or helpful. The food was excellent and they were happy for us to play around with the options as vegetarians. Would definitely recommend 😊

A first visit to this particular Bills. The menu was varied and our supper was really tasty. A shared fish selection to start, followed by succulent beef burgers. Staff were very attentive, especially Alissia.

Excellent meal here last night to celebrate my birthday, sitting outside on the patio on a beautiful summer evening. We were served by the lovely Alissia who was great and very efficient. I had my favourite meal - aubergine and mozarella parmigiana. Just love this! Delicious! And thank you so much for the Birthday Prosecco. Much appreciated.

I feel overwhelmed by the kindness and consideration of Connor who met us at the door and saw my daughter would need extra support. He showed us to the table and gave options if it would be over stimulating. To further the exceptional service Maddie offered us another seat when the noise became louder from another guest. Met friends for breakfast at Bills in Tunbridge Wells. Lovely interiors and atmosphere. Great range of items on the menu and a good price. Our waitress was Maddie and she was exceptional! No waiting to order drinks or food. She was really efficient and welcoming.

My friend and I popped in for a cocktail 🍸, we were made to feel very welcome as we walked through the door. We decided to share some nibbles which were very tasty, only downside to that as it was meant to be a sharing platter, and there were only 3 of each items which I thought was odd as there were 2 of us. Connor was our server, he is very friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and helpful. We ended up spending several hours there as the cocktails that he made were delicious. Well done Connor and the other staff for making a pleasurable afternoon 👏

Always a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Even though this visit was a little slow being so busy we really enjoyed our evening. Daisy was super helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend.

We had a really lovely evening, good food, excellent service with personal extra care and touches from our waitress Maddie, who was very friendly and joined in some fun conversation of our past childhood experiences of their dessert (Berry Mess) that took us back to naustalgic Christmas flavours in Germany. Thanks for making our evening a really fun and welcomed one Maddie, we will definitely be back. We highly recommend the Bill's restaurant in Tunbridge Wells to anyone looking for a warm fun evening, surrounded by interior decot that is equally fun and intersting.

I took my six year old for a quiet lunch at the Tunbridge wells Bills, we were served by Connor and had the most excellent experience. Service was speedy and he was so thoughtful noting that we had a vegan diet he bought us some vegan mayo for our chips. He suggested things off the menu and the food was absolutely fantastic, all the staff were smiley and happy, thank you so much for the wonderful experience.

Had a really great experience at Bills @ Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday. Maddie our server was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable of the menu, and gave us just the right amount of attention. We tend to visit Bill's Tunbridge Wells on a monthly basis and I can only say that the overall level of consistency about this restaurant is outstanding. The food is always good and the service always very warm and attentive. A great thank you to Julia, who made our most recent lunch experience even more enjoyable! See you soon :)

Excellent atmosphere and service. Very busy when we visited but the standard of service, food or kindness did not drop. Thank you for treating my daughter who’s birthday it was like royalty, you made her day :)

The restaurant was lovely and friendly with excellent staff. Zoe (our waitress) was amazing, she couldn't have been more helpful and is a credit to the restaurant. Great food, with a good amount of vegetarian options and very good price. We all had a really good time this evening.

Came to bills for my sister's birthday! Ordered the gluten free mighty brunch which was huge and very yummy! My sister had the vegan burger which she enjoyed! The service was a bit slow as it was busy so we were there quite a long time and we asked for water a few times which never arrived but it was busy! The food definitely made up for it!

Went for breakfast was so good would come back again was great! Friendly staff and great customer service gonna come back they £5 pancakes on Fridays they so look so good

Went to Bills for Kids eat free half term deal. Unfortunately the kids portions were tiny - two tiny chicken strips about an inch in length each. I think any child over 6 would require an adult meal. The adult chicken shwarma was good as was the adult burger and the staff were lovely.

I just had a lovely festive dinner with the family! The food was absolutely delicious, and I really appreciated how all the courses were named, especially for those of us who forgot what we ordered. Service was top-notch from Alissia and Emily, and the atmosphere was just perfect for our gathering. I'd definitely book another Christmas party here in the future!

Visited Bill’s in Tunbridge Wells today for my birthday brunch. At the start we were seated at the back where it was quiet and the atmosphere was lovely. Our waitress Maddie was brilliant – she helped me choose my food as it was my first time eating at Bill’s, and she was friendly and attentive throughout. My partner has a gluten intolerance and was pleasantly surprised by the large gluten-free menu which was a big plus. The food was also very good and we had no complaints there. Unfortunately the experience took a turn while we were still eating, as several members of staff held a meeting right beside us. They were extremely loud to the point where my partner and I couldn’t hear our own conversation, and it made us feel quite uncomfortable. By this point it seemed only Maddie was left to run everything, and my partner had to go and find her so we could pay the bill and leave. It was a disappointing end to what had been a really nice meal. Management should not be holding loud staff meetings during service, especially in areas where customers are still dining.

Firstly, our waitress - Maddie - was excellent. The others let the team down. When we tried to ask other waiting staff to help us, it was clearly a case of “not my table, not my problem”. My son summed up our visit succinctly: “The hollandaise was bland; Maddie was not.” There was nothing wrong with our meals, but they weren’t special in any way either. However, the gluten free menu is extensive, which I appreciate. They offer gluten free sausages and pancakes, which are both rarities in the area. Overall, I begrudge the other waiting staff having a share of the service charge, which is included in the bill. They didn’t deserve a penny. For that reason, I wasn’t happy about paying it. I would have preferred to give a tip directly to Maddie, as she was the only member of the kitchen, bar or floor staff who impressed us on our visit.

Food is really good but this branch always seems to struggle with service. The manager and staff are really friendly but they never seem to cope with busy periods. Waited 45 mins for food (two brekkies) before chasing up and then food appeared 5 mins later, were told the scrambled eggs were what held things up… (easiet and fastest thing to cook surely?) food is great and always good portion sizes. Staff are friendly but they just can’t keep up with how busy it is. Wouldn’t rush back for that reason.

Alissia @ BILLS Tunbridge Wells was a good host. She bought lovely drinks and a great welcoming intelligent chat. Was a good day inside the restaurant from the pouring sleeting freezing rain outside! We had a good celebration in there

Many of the reviews are mentioning specific servers by name but I did not have the pleasure of having a designated server and I had to grab whoever was rushing by to ask if we could order and to follow up on where our order was. Drinks took ages to arrive as did the food. And the food was really disappointing. After such a long wait I was so hungry I ate as much as I could of my cold shakshuka which completely missed the mark - the eggs should be baked into a rich sauce not poached and sat on some lukewarm pasta sauce. The pickled onions and chilli oil were missing. Really naff. Alongside their front door buzzing constantly, the entire episode was regrettable. The shakshuka was removed from our bill and if I could be bothered I would’ve asked for the service charge to be removed aswell as we didn’t actually receive any service. Definitely will not be returning to this branch or any other Bills. A shame, as it used to be a favourite of mine.
