Came in and easily ordered food that came out super fast! The atmosphere is calm and quiet, definitely recommend eating at this location.

SHE HAD TO HAVE THAT SANDWICH before we left San Antonio. Lol.. my granddaughter had a choice of wherever she wanted to go on our way back home to the RIO GRANDE VALLEY. She laughed as she told us, "WELL, WE DON'T HAVE A PANERA BREAD in the Valley!"

I always love the food here. Plus I have the Sip Clup Membership, so I get all the basic drinks (soda, coffee, tea) I want for a couple bucks a month. 😆

We did takeout for dinner here. We ordered the Classic Grilled Cheese sandwich, a Bacon Turkey Bravo Sandwich, 2 bags of potato chips and a bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup. All of the food was excellent. We will definitely return and would certainly recommend this place.

I don’t know why I’m barely trying this place out, but I’m sad I hadn’t tried it earlier! The options are all so tasty and choosing is the hardest part. We opted for a Prickly pear and an Agave lemonade paired with Asiago bagel and a Everything bagel. The bread is just perfection. If you’re like me and never been, you must! It’s just a perfect snack or you can opt for a meal as well.

We shared tastes of each other's selections. Yum!! Everything seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. I asked about the new "Cuban" sandwich and paired a half sandwich of it with a small bowl of the "Autumn Squash" soup. Yum again! Loved the toasted crunchiness of the Cuban sandwich, and the sweetness of the soup. My cousin had a wonderful salad with chicken and a tasty soup combo. Yum thrice!! Thank you Panera Bread. We were so pleasantly full, we decided to wait for another time on the desserts and breads. Wow, what a beautiful selection of fresh baked breads and scones, pastries and assorted tempting goodies. We would have loved our choices with fresh brewed coffees. Their fragrances drifted into our area next to them and were so pleasant. Thanks again, we'll be back!!

Could have been better the service was extremely slow and the item i asked for was not really my choice and the manager called complaining about my friend who order the food saying because of her complaining about the slow service and lack of the food we wanted she the manager said her and her people will not get their bonuses the place just had open a few weeks earlier. So my opinion go somewhere else

Yo, first time eating at Panera in years! What a disappointment. Service was okay, not great. Food was not good at all. Soup and sandwich was honestly like prison food. I wouldn't know what prison food tastes like but I envision if I were locked up, they would be serving Panera soup and sandwich 😂. Soup was slop and sandwich was less than flattering. - eSIM Studios YouTube Channel

I'll be honest, everything was above expectations until I asked for a to-go container for my sandwiches and received two scraps of paper. No bag, just 15" x 15" sheets of paper. I say paper because as I'm trying to roll my sandwich like a burrito, it tore. More than once. Once I got to my vehicle, I had to look for some kind of random bag from H-E-B to put it in because it was just falling out all over the place. Gross 🤢

Wow!!! Never been to Panera Bread. Wanted to go to Starbucks right across parking lot and my wife said that Panera's Coffee Cake is better than Starbucks. I will let you all ne the judge. Place is clean and looks good. My wife ordered their Turkey Chili with some bread......wow, great tasting Chile!!! The bread is probably best I have tasted. She ordered the Passion Papaya Green Tea, i ordered the Hibiscus Prickly Pear. Both taste like not having any sugar, still, they are refreshing and delicious. Highly recommend!!!

I go to this Panera very often and the most important thing I can suggest - check your to go order before you leave. Today is the fourth time they screwed up my order. I am tired of being a “difficult” customer, always asking them to fix my orders. Today I ordered sandwich with an over easy egg and a thin sliced baguette. What I got -scrambled egg and thick sliced bread. Also was getting a very pale, undercooked baguette numerous times! Started adding special instructions for well done bread!

Everything always looks better on the app. I was really disappointed with the new crème brûlée latte — I ordered it iced, and it honestly just tasted like a watered-down iced coffee with no flavor at all. I should’ve known better than to get an iced drink here. I also tried the new ham Benny, which was fine but tasted just like a regular ham, egg, and cheese croissant — nothing special. We got a bacon croissant as well; it looked like a bit of a mess but at least it tasted good. For nearly $30 for two breakfast sandwiches and two drinks, I expected a more elevated experience. Unfortunately, it just fell flat and left me underwhelmed. 👎🏼

I was hoping to find this place a little more fancy and classy than Starbucks but our soup had plastic utensils, plastic cups for cofre instead of real mugs. Hopefully they can improve that so it feels like a better place. Clean up should improve inside the restaurant

Don't order from this Panera on UberEats. They have consistently every online order I've ever done. I either receive the wrong sandwich or I am missing multiple items.

Not impressed with Panera , the food is overrated and not very flavorful, the sandwich I ordered was already falling apart and the crust had already separated from the white part when I opened it , letting me know that it was served that way, the fruit cup was soggy. This was our first time and our last as well. I feel Subway is a better value with tastier options and better service than Panera Bread, very disappointed.

My wife and I came to dine in at Panera at the Forum and our experience was undesirable to say the list from the get go. We wanted to order the Chipotle Avocado Melt however, we were told there was no avocado available. My wife still decided to order the meal but without avocado. I asked the cashier if we were getting charged for avocado even if the no avocado was available and she replied “Yes”. At that point i asked if we could get a discount and again she replied “No”. I am not understanding this concept that if I order a meal with one of the main ingredients and still get charged the same amount is totally unacceptable. Someone needs to ensure customers don’t get hosed because of this. On a different subject, the dining experience is also horrible as the smell is not upending at all when you walk into the restaurant. It smells like dirty rug mixed with food!!

There was a time when Panera Bread was known to myself as a vibrant, and sofisticated bakery and eatery. The service used to be helpful, happily given and courteous. Today, I was surprised by what I found at Panera Bread at The Forum. A cashier very much unhappily serving the customers, so I opt to utilize the self-serve kiosk, ordering a cup of coffee, a cranberry chicken sandwich and a chocolate croissant. As I was directed to the pick-up kiosk for the cup of coffee, allI saw was mayhem, a bunch of young workers trying to expedite orders left and right, not very friendly one asked me, "how can I help you?" In a tone of, "you are bothering me with your presence", one handed me a cup for the self-serve coffee and to my surprise all the carafes with different flavors of coffee were cold to the touch! The half and half was almost empty and I grabbed the last 4 packages of brown sugar available. I dare not ask anyone to reheat the coffee for me, so I returned and finished filling my cup with which ever carafe had the warmest coffee in it. I proceeded to find a booth, which I had to grab a few napkins and cleaned not only the table top but the seats as well, full of crumbs from a previous patron. The best part of Panera Bread, was the quietness and tranquility it brought to me. The subtle sounds of the kitchen staff preparing orders, the laughter of other patrons with a now and then scream of a child, the buzzing table beeper letting each of us know our order was ready for pick-up. Well, all I could hear today was mostly a worker, possibly the manager or assistant manager, screaming out guests names as if we were in some king of whole-in-the-wall New York dinner. Don't get me wrong, she was doing her job, she was actively trying her best to get the orders off the counter to perhaps what were customers not paying attention to their text message to pick-up their order, she was simply making more room for the cooking staff to finish their load in a timely manner. But in the process, the whole charisma of Panera Bread was lost! My sandwich is no longer what I remember, now the cranberry and turkey salad from any local HEB supermarket taste much better than what I was eating. My usual favorite pastry, warmed up for me and served in a plate with a fork and knife was given to me in a to-go brown bag as if the rest of my order wasn't dine-in. When I got to my pastry I noticed it was cold to the touch, so I asked for it to be warmed up for me. I was directed to the microwave, under the self-serve coffee bar so that I could do it myself. Given the explanation that since I already took it to my table they could no longer return it to the kitchen, I said "ok, thank you", just to see both the yelling worker and the kitchen staff just looking at me as if I was wrong to even ask! As I sit here, eating my lunch, I see the filthy booth I'm in and can't help to fill grossed out of even eating here. The prices are still high for any meal or bakery item here, but I come to Panera Bread for the whole experience I'm accustom to pay for. Let's be honest, there is nothing outlandish about the meals or baked goods here, I come for the treatment and I know it reflects on the high prices I pay to eat here. But now? The high prices are simply not worth the treatment of sitting here and eating a meal! The pastries here are comparible to any Central Market or Whole Foods, Panera Bread is not the only one serving pastries. So now, I will think about returning to Panera Bread twice before actually choosing it as my go-to spot for good hearty goods or bake goods. So sad to see such a booming and happy place go to this low expectations. Is it the actual staff working here or the lack of enough staff being given to the location by corporate? I'd say it's corporates fault for over working the staff and not providing sufficient members to do the clean-up of the tables, fill up of the coffee and cold beverage bars and so forth. That yelling lady? She is a team player, when all past, I could hear her congratulating her staff with a, "great job everyone!"

This is the second time I ordered from Panera at this location and the second time my order was wrong. It didn't call the first time but the second time I decided to. I've been watching what I've been eating but today I wanted soup and potato chips. It's been pouring rain for the last 2 days and I wanted comfort food. During the torrential downpour, I will Panera to pick up my order. I ran in and ran out. I got back to the hotel only to find out there were no potato chips. Have you ever been on a diet had a craving and finally said I'm going to give in for this one indulgence? That was me today only to find out they messed up the order again. This time I called. I asked for the manager and this girl transferred me. I asked for a credit for my soup and potato chips. She explained to me that she could only give me the credit for the potato chips as her manager would have an issue if she credited the whole meal. Funny enough I thought I was talking to the manager. Now I'm irritated that she didn't identify herself as not being the manager when I specifically asked for one. I probably would have taken the credit for the potato chips but now that she was being deceptive I wanted to speak to the manager as I originally asked. This non-manager told me that the actual manager would be in in about an hour....That was Saturday at 1:30 p.m. I'm still waiting. You can't possibly tell me that Panera had a mad rush all afternoon into the evening and the manager could not call me back.I have never had one problem at other locations of Panera and now the same location within two weeks I've had two problems. Horrible customer service! There are too many other choices in this area to settle for this Panera location.

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. Panera Bread has truly outdone itself this time. I ordered their famed chicken noodle soup—already a questionable choice at $7.99 for what is essentially broth with a whisper of nostalgia—and what arrived was nothing short of a culinary insult. The bowl, if one can even call it that, was less than half full. Half. Full. I’ve seen more generous portions in a child’s play kitchen set. The soup itself? A tepid, watery disappointment with a scant scattering of noodles and a few sad, overcooked chicken scraps that seemed to apologize for their existence. For that price, I expected a robust, hearty bowl of comfort, not a stingy serving that left me wondering if the kitchen staff simply forgot how to ladle. And let’s not even start on the bread "side"—a measly, stale hunk that could double as a doorstop. Panera, darling, if you’re going to charge premium prices, at least pretend to deliver a premium product. This wasn’t soup; it was a mockery of soup, an affront to anyone who values both flavor and value. I suppose I should thank you for the reminder that appearances can be deceiving—your chic, faux-artisanal vibe is nothing but a façade for what is, at its core, a glorified soup kitchen with delusions of grandeur. Next time, I’ll save my money and warm up a can of Campbell’s. At least they know how to fill a bowl.

Place was dirty, plates on the tables, floors weren't swept, no one to greet you. The first time I went there, I went to the counter for a menu, but there was no one there. I noticed people using the kiosks, so I went to a kiosks placed order, BTW couldn't find what I wanted. Kiosks asked for pager number, and there were no pagers. I put my name. The food had come out and was sitting at the counter and I wasn't aware, because the receipt showed the name on my card I payed with not the name I entered, and they were mis pronouncing it wrong! So I get up to ask how much longer, and that's when I saw our food on the counter. Now, the food. The bread was hard! Over toasted, I guess? It sure didn't look like the picture I chose from the menu! All I asked to take off was onions! But somehow, it seemed they took out everything! So I had the Buffalo chicken sandwich, and it looked pretty big on the kiosks. The pic I took doesn't look like the menu, that's for sure! It only had chicken in the middle of the bread, and it was a little strip of chicken! My husband's meal was the ham sandwich, the bread also hard it only had 4 thin slices of ham!!! I mean, come on!!!!!! Panera!!!! This is where I'm gana loose it!!! 4 slices of ham on a whole sandwich?!?!?! This was my first time coming to your restaurant! And what an expression you have given me! Never! Never again will I ever spend $30 something dollars on 2 sandwiches and 2 drinks in a restaurant that make themselves look fancy, hip, and up to date but in reality, is so dam cheap it steals from people by cheating them out on lesser food! Shame on you, Panera!!! Refund me!!!

Food took 20 minutes for a to go order. The sandwich had no meat and should have been easy to prepare. Soup wasn’t filled, and is clearly the leftovers from the day. Chicken noodle soup with 4 noodles and bits of chicken. Sandwich was very prepared poorly, sloppily thrown together. The soda station had gnats, which indicated it obviously hadn’t been cleaned appropriately. Maybe if the employees that prepped the food took out their air pods they would be able to be more attentive to their orders, and making sure it’s to customer standards. Called to talk to a manager and phone rings and rings. Called back again got a manager who did not introduce herself, and waited until the end of the conversation to apologize.
