Opinions de La Botte Lompoc
I loved everything about this place. The food, the service and the atmosphere are all extraordinary. The owners are incredibly likable and treat their customers and staff as if they’re family and friends. I’m grateful to have them here
I love little mom-and-pop Italian places like this! Their service is always really good and they treat you like you are supposed to be there. I always get "Nick's special", a pizza with lots of good toppings, and it never disappoints. Sometimes it takes a little while to be seated and to get your food, but they do treat you really well.
Gabriel was one of the best servers I have ever had! He made my experience being new to Lompoc 100x better. The food was also amazing! I got the penne arabiatta and it was DELICIOUS! I will definitely be back :)
My husband and I were out celebrating our 5yr wedding anniversary which was December 13th and we both love Italian food so we decided to give this place a try. The reviews were great and now I know EXACTLY why. First of all the entire staff are extremely kind and welcoming which only adds to the amazingly delicious food!!! I had the chicken parmigiana and my husband had an olive and basil noodle dish (can't remember the name of it) but he added chicken and it was also very good. If you are ever in Lompoc, Ca this place is a MUST!!! Trust me when I say, you won't be disappointed.
The food came out very quickly. The staff was nice. The food was delicious. I felt like the servings were bigger than usual, which was dope. I love dining here.
Awesome authentic Italian cuisine cooked by a real Italian chef! Need I say more?! Very soothing ambiance with soft Italian music in the background. Very nice bar with several big screens playing Dodgers and Lakers. Casual chic is fine, you can dress up if you want. Live band on weekends. The waitresses are super nice and will go to any length to please the customer. This place has it all! You will love it!!
I've been there twice and both times it was outstanding! I was surprised that there was amazing seafood in Lompoc! Better than a lot of restaurants in SB. The cioppino was full of fresh seafood and super tasty. Next visit they made us a special dish of seafood pasta with a tomato cream sauce that was the best I've ever had and the spinach salad was really good too. The service was outstanding!!
Great food ,great service, absolutely beautiful atmosphere. People our friendly even when they are extremely busy. My favorite is their pizza with double pepperoni and extra cheese.
Great atmosphere and some of the friendliest staff you can find. The owner Caterina happened to walk in while I was having dinner there with a friend and, as the Italian that I am, I started to talk to her in Italian. We talked for about an hour while my friend and I enjoyed our dinners and she made us feel like family the whole time.
My husband surprised me with food from La Botte. The Chicken Marsala was the best I've tasted. The Clam Chowder was equally delicious. Both are very tasty and good sized too. Can't wait for my husband to take me there.
If you want authentic Italian food this is the place to go. I have been eating at this restaurant for more than a decade and never have been disappointed. It can get super busy during holidays and paydays. So if you don't like a long wait, go at opening to avoid the massive crowd that can hit afterwards. This is a family owned restaurant not a commercial chain. It is pricey but so worth the cost for what you get in return.
Working in Lompoc for a couple of days, I heard of an Italian restaurant that was supposed to be great. At the end of the job I called in a to go order of Chicken Marsala. The dish was amazing. I come from an Italian family and very picky to say the least. I highly recommend this restaurant. It is perfect inside clean and well designed. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. I can't wait to dine in. I live in SLO. Well worth the drive.
We came out for a Christmas Eve dinner, it was fabulous and service was very attentive. A very nice touch, they had Santa and his elf stop by for pictures and what a beautiful Santa and helper.
Great people. Great food in a surprising local find.
I love this place! The owner and her staff are wonderful people and so genuine. I had my 40th birthday dinner at her Bistro and we had a group of 20+! They served us all quickly and were on top of every request! And the food was EXCELLENT! The environment is lovely and classy at the same time. They make you feel at home! I highly recommend anyone visit here for a lovely dinner and especially on Friday's when she has live music!
La Botte is the most wonderful and authentic Italian food I have ever had. The servers treat you like friends and family. When you consider how great the restaurant is, I'm always amazed at how affordable the pricing is. They have a beautiful new building that's romantic and spacious. We love to celebrate our special occasions here. This one is worth a drive if you're from out of town! And if you're local... Don't miss out on this gem. 💎❤️ I'll miss it when we move.
Ate here while passing through Lompoc on our pch adventure last week. Food was very good, however what leading to this review is their honesty and customer service. I accidentally left my credit card there the night we went and since we had to continue on our trip early the next morning and they didn’t open until 4pm I had to leave town and hope for the best. I called them later in the day and spoke to a gentleman. I asked if they had found my card which he said they did, and then I asked if they could mail my card back to my home address in Connecticut” They were very nice about it and I just received my card in the mail today. It seems they even put 3 stamps on the envelope to ensure that the card made it. :) And I can confirm there have been no unusual transactions on my card. I really appreciate that kind of integrity and follow through, it’s an absolute lifesaver not to have to cancel that card. Thank you guys so much!
Best pizza in town. I like the crispy thin crust and they don't try to make their pizzas too complicated. Perfect! Love the sauce. They will bottle up some sauce for you to take home...They have perfected the Italian dinner experience. Pinot is good.
One of the best Italian restaurants we've been to. This place was walking distance from our hotel. Such a cute and warm atmosphere, it really feels like your in grandma's house. And the food was great. From the bread to the dessert. You can't go wrong and will definitely be coming back.
Currently here right now. Amazing staff. The owner is such a doll she is so adorable. She sings along with the Italian music. Had great Italian vibes. Great Italian food. Everything was great. We will definitely keep coming until we've eaten everything on the menu. Such an amazing experience. 💜
Great food! Service ranges from okay to outstanding. Food ranges from good to outstanding. When Mama Caterina fires up the kitchen, the food is 5 star, with best-I've-ever-eaten soups, great veggies, perfect pasta, wonderful entrees, and nice desserts. Owners are from Marsala Sicily; if you understand Italian culture & cooking (albeit americanized) you'll understand this restaurant. It varies a little from day to day but it's always good. Sometimes their marinara is too sweet, sometimes the cook gets carried away with salt or pepper, sometimes the service is erratic. Don't get mad, just politely ask for something else. Nick's Special 🍕 is great (and I don't usually like all that stuff on my pizza!). Sometimes they serve the most excellent yeast dinner rolls, and you know how rare it is find those any more!!! This place is a slightly dated family restaurant but that's part of its charm. Especially when Mama serenades you. If a true family restaurant with a few inconsistencies isn't your Chianti then skip it. Otherwise you're in for a treat. And you won't go away hungry.
Delicious! Loved the family atmosphere! Met the sweet owner, she greeted us and as she walked away started singing in Italian, made us smile! Everything we ordered was so good! Definitely returning! Authentic Italian delicious food!
We love this restaurant! We are from out of town but had fond memories from our last visit. Francesca went out of her way to make our night amazing. She treated us like family. Food is fantastic. We had carbonara, chicken parm and lasagna. Wine was great. Can't wait to come back. One of our favorites in the area.
OMGosh! Both La Botte in Lompoc and La Botte Bistro in Buellton will blow you away! First of all the customer service truly gives its patrons an intimate and very special experience. The warm and friendly owners and their awesome staff will take care of you from the minute you walk through their door, until the time you leave. The Bruschetta is by far the best my husband and I have ever had. Our pasta dishes were superb. Followed by a delicious dessert. I would like to give these restaurants a deserving 100 stars if I could. If you are ever in the Lompoc and or Buellton area, La Botte and La Botte Bistro are the places to go for the best Italian food!!! xoxo
They are very welcoming. It's a beautiful atmosphere with that feel of being with family and loved ones. The food is absolutely mouth watering and satisfying. And the freshness and selection of deserts, you can't go wrong. Highly recommended. May God bless the businesses and their workers. Keep up the fantastic work.
Family owned and operated. At La Botte, bring your appetite and expect to be greeted with warm hospitality and GREAT FOOD!!! Old-world recipes and ORDER THE NICK'S SPECIAL PIZZA! BEST SPECIAL PIZZA EVER!!! The Agates hold tradition! Francesca and Jeff are awesome! Mama Agate 💜💜💜
Classic italian food, served by warm staff and very present ownership.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant of all time. Such amazing recipes, and quality ingredients. The chicken Marsala is my favorite. The service has always been top notch with the wait staff being both personable and attentive. The atmosphere here is amazing as well, small, romantically lit, and fresh flowers on every table. I travel almost an hour just to come to this restaurant and will continue to do so!
Beautiful restaurant! The lasagna is the best I have ever had in my life! I would have posted pictures but I ate it all and wasn't thinking about it!! This is a must try if you comin the 101 N or 101 S to HWY 1 !
A family favorite! Italian family owned and run since the beginning. Comfort food that stands the test of time. Many great memories of Mama singing Happy Birthday to myself and my Children while playing her accordion.
Excellent all around!! My family just moved to the area from across the country so we were worried about bringing our toddler along. As soon as we walked in, she was warmly welcomed and offered to pick out a toy! The atmosphere was perfect. The place was sparkling clean, the decor was beautiful and staff was friendly! The food….AMAZING!!! Most delicious meal I’ve had in so long. I had the Manicotti and my husband had the Chicken Masala and said the same. We will definitely be returning!!
My Grandsons & their Dad & I had a great evening at La Botte tonight. We always feel like royalty there. The food is always excellent, and we love it when Francesca is our server. N8 had the ribeye steak and said it was as good as the Hitching Post...I always have pasta. Their desserts are amazing too!
Awesome service, food and atmosphere. Love Mama as well. So fun. Great atmosphere. Thank you all❤️
I’m was a tourist in Lompoc last weekend, I had wonderful food here, recommend steamed clam and Bruschetta, they are so delicious! People here are super nice too! I forgot my purse after dinner and realized that on the next day, when I back to restaurant ask, their staff keep it for me well! Restaurant has been in the town about 40 years, my hotel receptionist told me they are really nice people, and I felt it! This place gives me a good memory about Lompoc!
What can't I say about this place, Mama as she has affectionately known makes the atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the service is what you would expect.
We had an absolutely delightful experience here... the food was fresh and delicious and the servings are very generous. Our Ryne(pronounced Ryan) server is one of the nicest and most thoughtful servers you will ever meet... as mentioned the food was good add their service and its a 10 of 10
Francesca catered our event in Solvang. Incredible food, professional service, on time, left venue clean , classy all the way.
The ambiance was pleasant, the food was good, but the thing I will remember forever here was our waiter. What a kind person! He relayed to the chef to be gentle with the spices when I expressed concern during my order period. When my back gave out, he practically hauled me upright at the end of the evening. I hope he gets a promotion. He was tall bearded and burly, and an absolute gentleman.
I ordered the Veal Parmigiana with spaghetti Bolognese. The food was very delicious (Chefs Kiss)and served hot. The service was good and the staff was very friendly. Last time I was at LA Botte was back in 04 so it has been a good minute. The new restaurant is not as cramped as the old one. I like the more spread floor spacing. Even when my family and I left all of the staff told us good evening. It seem like it us a good 0lace to celebrate your Bday l there at least 4 groups celebrating when I was there. Definitely hit up this place if your looking for some good Italian eats in lompoc. Definitely a recommend.
Me and my brother had an amazing time here at this family owned restaurant! The portions were very generous and the food was amazing. We will definitely be back for more.
The food was amazing!!! We ordered Marsala & Bolognese - portions were generous! We called for a pick up order at 5p on a Saturday, when we went there for pick up at 5:15p, the restaurant was already packed. No wonder cause they are really soooooo good! They are our #1 restaurant in Lompoc & will stop by every time we are in town!
Wonderful authentic Italian spot. Lasagna and spaghetti bolognese were large portions, with quality ingredients. Had plenty of left overs for a great meal next day, and it seemed even better, if possible! Nice to include choice of soup or salad, plus bread with each meal. Will be a “must stop” next time we are in area.
Ryne was our server, he was fantastic! Energetic, and on the ball. The food was superb. I had the lamb chops and they were prepared perfectly. The room was loud but no more than any other place lately.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. Mandy was very friendly and knowledgeable about all of the food and wines they offer. The atmosphere was perfect to what a good Italian restaurant should be. The food was excellent. Francesca made us feel like family and left us wanting to come back soon. I highly recommend everyone in the area to check this place out.
Cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at La Botte! It’s been over a decade since we last ate there and were excited to see the new place. Their team absolutely nails not only the food, but service as well! We got to sit and enjoy our food and wine over a generous amount of time. Mama came over and we got to visit and hear about the restaurant’s history. We’ll keep coming back! Keep up the good work. Good service and good food are hard to come by in Lompoc and this family has nailed it. Promise you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for providing the space for a wonderful evening.
Such a delightful family owned and ran restaurant. They've had a restaurant open since the 80s and just opened that location in 21; I think moving from another one. The service was fantastic, almost top of the line. It really gave off the home family vibes, getting to talk with the workers, learning about the restaurants history, and even finding out that they have a breakfast cafe in another location.
Food is delicious and the staff is friendly and polite. Great restaurant for family or going on a nice date.
Walking in for the first time, with a party 5, I was the impression that it will be a good dinner. Never been there before. That made me feel like at home. The service was phenomenal, the food was great.
This Italian restaurant is 5 of 5, we like everything! It’s the truly the best food ever, the music, the service and the Italian atmosphere. If one day we visit this city again, for sure that we will eat here again! We highly recommend this spot!

Food is absolutely delicious! My husband Jim have celebrated our anniversaries and birthdays there. Mama and her staff our amazing make you feel like family. I highly recommend come weather it a special occasion or just enjoying dinner or lovely lunch. 💯 %
Always the best every time me and my family go. We love how hospitable and welcoming this family is. I say family because when you walk in, you can feel the love. They are always so accommodating and attentive. Not to mention that the food is 10/10 every time. We always come back!
I called with a super last minute family sized Tiramisu cake for a birthday. And they were so accommodating and very knowledgeable! They made it happen like magic and it was delicious. The most friendly and cheerful service I could ask for. Was just perfect!
Outstanding dinners at this charming, authentic family-run restaurant. As first-timers without reservations, we were greeted by three different staff, sat within 5 minutes, with good local wine poured within 5 more. Healthy portions of very rich pasta bolognese and meat ravioli and a huge salad. Oven fresh bread is a nice touch. Highly recommend.
If you're craving authentic Italian comfort food, look no further — this place is an absolute gem! I recently tried their Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta, and it was hands down one of the best I've ever had. I’ll definitely be coming back — next time with friends so they can fall in love with it too!
We spent a good hour driving around Lompoc trying to find a good dinner spot -- glad we lucked into finding La Botte! Very nice place, nice relaxed atmosphere and very attentive service all wrapped around some of best Italian we've had in a long time. Wife, Daughter n I believe their Marinara is some of BEST Sauce we ever had! It goes GREAT with EVERYTHING! If we're ever back in the Lompoc area, we will DEFINITELY visit La Botte Again!
The family is an absolute treasure!!!! Always so full of love and joy and ready to comfort you with their delicious food and kind hearts. Our favorite local spot for celebrating big moments and annual traditions. Highly recommend!!!
I went to this restaurant and I was so shocked how beautiful and what authentic food they have. The family and the staff treats us like we are family. The food was so delicious. It felt like we were back in Italy. The restaurant is very clean and very beautiful. I would suggest for you to go and try it out. I will definitely be back. Thank you so much for everything. My family and I absolutely enjoyed every single bit of it.
This restaurant is wonderful and Amazing if you will. And she does. Top notch food that taste oh so delicious and is portioned more, the place is super clean, so are the bathrooms. Friendly, kind hearted, nice, good people work there. 9-2 for breakfast and lunch then 4-9:30 for dinner. I recommend going a couple times a week or just once, either way you won't be disappointed. Tell em James sent you they will like that.

Went here over a year ago and had a terrible experience. Decided to give it a second chance and so glad that I did! The decor was classier, the service was good, and the food was tasty. Last time the only redeeming quality I could find was the Tiramisu (which I, of course, got again), but this time the entire experience was enjoyable. Two reasons this is only 4 stars: 1) the music was a bit too loud and consisted of American favorites of Italian-style songs (a bit tacky, in my opinion) and 2) the food was good, but nothing incredible, especially for the price - over $85 with tip for 2 dinners, 2 glasses of wine, and 1 dessert. Generally for that much, I expect a bit better quality food. I played it safe and stuck with lasagna because it's hard to screw up and last time was such a disappointment. I will say the lady who cooks and owns the place is fun and friendly, and stopped by table next to ours to dance with a little girl, which was adorable. Edit: Forgot to mention, always get the soup over the salad. The salad that comes with your entree is basically a bag mix swimming in dressing. The bread we were brought was soft and warm, which was nice.
Service was nice at start of meal then had to wave down a wait person for more water, bill, and leftover containers.chicken piccata was over cooked and tough. Fettuccini was creamy and nice. Carbonara was nice but a bit soupy.
Very good quality food . Very good customer service, staff very attentive. Family owned, parents have passed away. Run buy two daughters, both were there and very attentive themselves. Ciopino was delicious and veal was also delicious. Cream sauce was definitely homemade. Clam chowder soup was also delicious. All food tasted authentic. What a great experience in Lompoc
Our favorite restaurant but Thursday 12/5/24 we decided to order veal Parmesan. It was delicious but our salad was not iced like normal so that was disappointing. Also it would be nicer if the vinegar and oil for the bread would have been like it used to be in separate bottle. There was no way to get it blended in the container it was served in.
This is a simple charming small restaurant. I arrived with no reservations and there was a long line, but apparently a short wait. The parking lot was full, but there was a sign on the building to park at the next door bank parking lot. I was offered the bar, so I saved time and sat at the bar. I think this restaurant was short-staffed and busy. My order was quickly taken and dinner arrived very hot in an appropriate amount of time. However after that, I had little to no service. I had a tough time keeping my water filled. And waiting for the check felt like it took as long as the entire dinner. Since there was no bar tender, sitting at the bar had little attention. Overall, I think the food was average. It satisfied my desire for some Italian comfort food after a long day in the sun.
They were just closing. Thankfully they took our order anyway. Went to pick up and it was pretty busy in there. The customer service was top notch. Very friendly. Got back with the pizzas, typical thin crust Italian style pizza. It was, ok. Again, they were very nice. I'll have to try the lasagna.
This is a nice place for good Italian food. I can only speak for the chicken Marsala and it was delicious! It have a completely different flavor profile for how I make it as home and I was pleasantly surprised! The other dishes were also highly rated by my family. The inside is very cozy and has some charm to it. The prices are a little on the higher end so it’s the type of place that I will bring my family to on special occasions. I got their pepperoni calzone to go and they do it right. About 17$ will get you a calzone that you could split into 2 meals. They put ricotta cheese in it (the way it should be) and the side of sauce was more than enough. I can’t wait to try out some of their other dishes.
Family owned establishment offers huge pasta portions. It doesn't taste like hand made pasta but I'm not mad at all because the prices are quite fair for the huge portions (double sized pasta portion!!!). The service was quite slow but polite and atmosphere was homey.

Used to love coming here years ago. Not sure if they're always short on staff now, but service was really slow when we went recently. We had reservations and yet a party the same size as ours that just showed up got seated before us. I got the salad with Bleu cheese. It's good but the greens need to be chopped. The leaves are huge and awkward.
The food was bland at best and we stood at the door waiting to be seated for 25 minutes when they werent busy. The locals hold this place in high standing but I cant figure out why.
Service was adequate but should have been better. The food was the same, gnocchi was a little heavy & signature sauce was a little over cooked resulting in a paste aftertaste from concentration. The atmosphere is 4 of 5 stars on a good night. I get where the owners are going but a little more class such as fresh grated cheese/pepper and table sweeping would go a long way. Some separation within the dining area would also help a lot. Kinda just open with no defined spaces including the bar.
I ordered to go and service was really good. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I ordered the Chicken Marsala which came with bread and soup (I got clam chowder). Looking at the other reviews, I ordered this because it was the most popular. I would say I wasn’t really impressed. I think I would have liked it better if there was a divide in the togo plate because the sauce from the chicken Marsala completely mixed with the Alfredo and it made a weird combination. The Marsala sauce was oddly sweet but I did like it but as I said I wish this sweet sauce didn’t mix with the Alfredo. The mushrooms in the marsala were really good though and perfectly cooked. I really liked the Alfredo pieces that weren’t covered in marsala sauce so I think if I go back I’ll just get the Alfredo by itself. The clam chowder was really good so no negatives there. The bread was fresh but the entire top of the bread was pretty burnt. I literally had to eat around the burnt pieces but the bread dipped in the chowder was my favorite part of the meal. The portions were a decent size but this one meal with soup and bread combined was $27 and in my opinion it was not worth that much.
I had the lasagna, the noodles were way too soggy along too much of their special meat sauce was on the plate. One of my guests had the eggplant Parm, way too much mozzarella cheese on top and the eggplant was soggy as well. The hot bread was fantastic though.
New location, service is horrible. No hostess, not enough severs, slow service. Many guest were ignored. Won't go there again.
Chicken Marsala was tasty but tough, only had a butter knife with difficulty cutting. I should have tried the Pizza which wasn’t on the menu. Bread was good.
Nice atmosphere great staff and solid rib eye. Appetizers are good but the rib eye was the best about dinner. Pasta didn't sit well with me and my family. Didn't understand why the shrimp was still in it's shell when served but the mussels and mushrooms were phenomenal
I got a pizza to go, and I was very disappointed and underwhelmed. The crust tasted hard like cardboard, It was not enjoyable at all. I don’t know how it’s possible for a fresh baked out of the oven pizza to taste stale but it did. It was $16 for a small.

My sister was visiting. She adores Itallian. I was telling her that we had heard good things about our little local family style restaurant. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience. They delivered our food but forgot my sisters!!!! We could not wait around as we were going to a movie. No apology. We shared our meals with her. They were good but did not make up for the really bad service
From my understanding, this establishment once boasted an impressive reputation as a restaurant. However, my recent dining experience on April 26 left much to be desired. The dishes lacked flavor and any semblance of presentation; my pasta appeared as if it had been hastily scraped from another plate. The chicken parmesan was disappointingly dry, thin, difficult to cut and overcooked, making it difficult to swallow. The waitress, a tall, somewhat blonde woman, seemed disinterested and inconvenienced by our presence, as evidenced by her reluctance to provide everyone at our table water. To exacerbate matters, two out of three of us fell ill that night. Moreover, the atmosphere was tainted by the audible complaints of staff members expressing exhaustion from working excessively long shifts, possibly exacerbated by the recent passing of one of the owners. While this news is saddening, it does not excuse the fact that I spent over $160 on subpar food, indifferent service, and subsequently fell ill, an outcome that is simply unacceptable.
Keep trying to give this place a shot since it is one of the only restaurants in Lompoc. Extremely disappointing! Came on a Saturday night so expected it to be busy, which is fine. I assume the owner, a lady with brown hair, greeted us and said she would be right with us. A group of 4 came behind us, a gentlemen came over and greeted them, he was about to seat them and I spoke up and said we were ahead of them. The guy who sat them was running food, making drinks, answering the phone, seating people, he was doing absolutely everything. No organization at this place, the phone was ringing off the hook, the owner lady was constantly on the phone and then trying to seat people. They need to have a actual host/hostess. Service was VERY slow, I had to ask multiple times for a water fill up. They did not have a bartender, it was a free for all back there for servers pouring beer and wine which took longer fir the drinks to come out. No one was smiling in the whole place. I really want to like this place but it’s like they are not keeping up with the times, they need serious restaurant help. I will say the food is good, but I won’t be back considering this is the third time in a row with the same outcome.
Second time I've tried to go there and despite reservations just stood there for more than 13 minutes waiting to even be checked in. There was a younger kid there that finally came forward to get some of the people that were waiting and we asked if there was a hostess and he mumbled yes and turned away (I guess he was that person). There are so many other good restaurants around that know how to at least acknowledge that people have arrived and tell them the wait time even with reservations. We will go to Buellton or Santa Ynez or somewhere else.
I've eaten here twice now and did not enjoy my experience either time. Starting with drinks, they only serve beer and wine, so no cocktails. The last time I ordered a beer it was the bottom of the keg so I got 1/3 of a glass of the beer I wanted. The food is mediocre Italian with huge portions and tons of cheese. I always leave feeling like I ate too much but questioning why I did. Their bruschetta is good but terribly overpriced. Service is also spotty with one person running the whole floor. There was always lots of time between visits from a waiter or waitress. I probably won't go back to this restaurant on my next work trip.
Waited about 20 minutes to be seated. After we were seated, we waited about 30-40 minutes for our drinks and appetizers, while other diners that came in after us were dining well before we even had our dinner soup and salad. Our server lacked hospitality and seemed inexperienced….we had to ask him to clear our soup and bread dishes from the table, didn’t offer to refill drinks AND had the audacity to look offended when we asked. The pasta was so bland and the sauce completely flavorless, I’d rather go to Olive Garden and waste my money there instead. The only positives from our dining experience tonight were the clam chowder soup and ribeye steak! Might be worth trying again for those two things but I really hope they improve the wait times (considering there was hardly anyone there) and their food & service quality.
Bit of a comedy of errors here. The salads were a little fridge burnt and the Cesar salad was small- much smaller than my house salad though it was $3 more. We ordered white wine and the server brought red. Then brought a cheaper white and charged us for the pricier one. Both of our pastas were bland and overcooked. They offered oil for our bread which we accepted. Never got it. They offered pepper and cheese for our pasta which we accepted. Never got it. Ordered a meatball appetizer and it arrived after the meal was complete and dishes were cleared. The lady at the front was nice, our wine was tasty, and our waiter could use a lot more training but trying and sweet- all of which is why I gave 2 stars rather than 1.
Waited for about seven minutes or anyone came to the front to even help me. They should consider investing in a door chat so you don’t have to yell it into the kitchen to give someone attention..
Very very very long wait . I rather drive to Pismo to eat at Rosas ! BREAD IS FREASHLY MADE AND THE PASTAS ! YUMMY
Sadly, this place is in decline. It's rated best in Lompoc because there's nowhere else to go. We hadn't been in several years and we remembered it much nicer. We arrived at 5 with a reservation, the place but empty except for 2 other tables already eating. Our waitress, who I believe is a family member, gave us drinks but then disappeared. I had to find her after 45 minutes for water and to take our order. Other tables around us were eating before us but had other servers. She offered no apologies for disappearing and then seemed to suggest we weren't ready to order earlier. The food was mediocre at best. I didn't eat my salad. It barely had dressing and was old lettuce. I told her it was not good. No reply from her. The main course was ok but not worth a $27 price tag. I've had better food at Olive Garden. We were prepared for a nice dinner with a 89 year old dear friend and it was disappointing.
Everything was going fine we had our appetizer our drinks the dish for our toddler. until we had to wait for much more than one hour for our dishes, very disappointed, the explanation we got is that the food was made but someone had given it to someone else and that they where making it again, sorry, me and my fiancé were hungry so we ended up taking it to go. Much more to say but yes that was our experience… bad luck very disappointed.
Been waiting for over an hour for our food. At this point it doesn’t matter what the food tastes like. No one took our drink order. Tonight they had live music. If it wasn’t for that, people would be going crazy. The server treated us like if we were some of his street homies instead of customers.
