Great service (by Kamil) and a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. Drink are moderately priced but of a very high standard. Reservations recommended, certainly worth making the effort to go. Also there is a small snack menu to choose from.

Had my valentines after dinner drinks at this lovely place in the heart of Leicester Square. The drinks are unique giving you the experience of Japanese culture. The cocktails have fascinating flavours and presentation. Did not get much chance to try their food but it should be worth trying it! The view from the balcony is absolutely stunning.

Excellent cocktails and pairings. We went for the Mochi (with Mochi ice cream pairing) and margaritas again and again. I wanted to try the whole menu but the wife had other plans… Wonderful venue with great views even in the London drizzle. Looking forward to return and spend an entire afternoon just slowly progressing through the entire menu.

I had a wonderful time at The Londoner 8! The food was delicious, the ambiance warm and stylish, and the cocktail and pairing recommendations on the menu were spot-on. Everything complemented beautifully. A special shout-out to Murilo, my waiter: attentive, kind, and truly made the experience memorable. I gave 4 stars for the atmosphere only because the overall volume was a bit too loud for my personal taste. The music and vibe were great.. just a little much for me :) All in all, a fantastic experience and I’m already looking forward to coming back!

Absolutely top tier spot, no question. The entire concept is executed to perfection. Sitting in the "garden" you get a stunning atmosphere - beautiful surroundings, a relaxed atmosphere with a great DJ (importantly the music at a volume to drown out neighbours, but letting you hear the conversation you are in!). The cocktails are impeccable. Affordable enough to be accessible, quirky enough for aficionados to enjoy something genuinely unique. Matched with the excellent food menu, the suggested pairings elevated the whole thing. Honestly one of the best venues in the city and an absolute must for anybody looking for something special in London, away from the tourists.

I have stayed at The Londoner Hotel 10 times in the past 4 years and I absolutely LOVE this hotel!! 8 at The Londoner is the ultimate vibe. Not only is the food fantastic but the bartenders ...Mmmm...chefs kiss, Roman, Lukas, Luka, Aaren, and the team are phenomenal and creative! I ALWAYS sit at the bar because I feel like I get a full experience, food recommendations, fast friendly service, and when I've tried multiple drinks on the menu, the bartenders get creative for us!! Love this place and see you in September!!!

paid a return visit on the sunny weather and had a cute dinner here~the portion and spiciness has been adjusted and is perfect match with the cocktails. Absolutely amazing experience! The food was delicious, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We visited just for cocktails in the outdoor terrace area of the rooftop, it was lovely, the dim lighting really set the mood and the waiters were very attentive and helpful. We called before about ten minutes before arriving to check if they had any availability which they did despite it being a Friday night. The decor and general architecture outside was beautiful, the plants and the roof were amazing. Also you can see the London Eye from the toilets which was a nice surprise!

An absolutely amazing experience at the 8. The events team/Claudio have gone above and beyond to ensure my celebration was perfect. Such a tricky balance to strike with a large group attending, but the team were super accommodating, helpful and responsive. On the day of the event Murilo provided excellent service for a seamless experience for all of the guests. The food itself was very delicious and carefully curated. I would highly recommend the venue and the team for any occasion, be it a big event or an intimate evening. Thank you from me and my guests!

Restaurant on a top floor of a luxurious hotel, I particularly liked the customer service, staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was good, inside seating is not particularly great in the middle/inside section of the restaurant. Outside seating is prettier and you have the views by you. It was my cousins birthday so they bought complimentary drinks which was very nice of them.

Dined here with my partner as we are staying in the hotel. We were served by a lovely gentleman named Murilo and he was so kind, welcoming & helpful. The atmosphere is great, music is on point and the overall vibe of the bar is stunning. We could've sat in here all night long. Food was amazing. Can't fault anything. We will definitely be back - Murilo, thankyou for a wonderful evening

My boyfriend and I visited 8 at the Londoner last December and it was one of our favourite restaurants. The food was delicious and the cocktails were amazing. The atmosphere was also great and the restaurant looked lovely. There is also an outdoor bar but which looked great too. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a fancy meal and a beautiful setting.

I wanted to take my sister out as a treat and came across 8 at the London online. I had not been before however looking at the pictures and reading the reviews It seems like a great bar and I was eager to try. Staff were excellent and very knowledgeable on the menu. We went on Jubilee weekend however it was not overly busy. They are many different areas within the bar to sit, each with a different vibe. We first started out on the outside which has a beautiful view of London. After this we moved to the Shima garden where there was DJ playing house music. Cocktails were delicious, we didn’t get the chance to try any food although it looked really good. Something else I just have to mention is …. The toilet which was equipped with washing a drying features.. quite impression. Love this bar and will defo be back.

The atmosphere in this place is amazing and would love to visit in Spring or Autumn. Food was good, service was ok a little slow but staff were pleasant nonetheless. Summer 2024 visit was so good went two days in a row 29th and 30th August. Our server on the 30 August was amazing, Tano, thank you.

Lovely ambiance at the outdoor seating. Cozy seats with heaters nearby. Absolutely lovely cocktails - my fav was the Sakura Royale. The appetisers were simple but nice, the seabass carpaccio was a bit disappointing but the beef tataki was great! Service was good and they were attentive. Pricey place but worth it! Definitely will visit again.

Came to celebrate a sunny day out with some nice cocktails and was not disappointed. The 8 bar has an amazing selection of drinks for all tastes and not only are they aesthetically pleasing they are delicious too! 10/10 would recommend for a treat

The atmosphere was very enjoyable and the drinks delicious. Also amazing service from our waitress Promodi. I really recommend coming here for a chilled Saturday afternoon or to celebrate a special event.

Ethan was the most attentive waiter. We were celebrating my departure from London, and he really made the evening a celebration. Rarely have I experienced such good service.

Lovely roof top bar at the top of what looks like a very expensive hotel. Despite not being dressed up or staying at the hotel we were warmly greeted and shown to where we wished to sit. The views are a little restricted by the external architecture but still great. I had the Palom Pura cocktail and the tempura king prawns, both utterly delicious, the prawns were the best I’d ever had. My husband had the dashing cocktail and the chicken skewers - again utterly delicious. Gaetano who served us was great, helped us decide and was just the right amount of attentive. Thanks!

A friend of mine took me here and I had a really lovely time. Food and drinks were great. Really chilled atmosphere with great service. I especially loved the cocktail and appetizers pairing recommendation menu, lots of really tasty choices to choose from! A nice place to go with friends, your partner or even a date, would definitely go back! 💜

Just had cocktails which were sublime. A lovely space with comfy seating and a terrific view of London. A really imaginative cocktail menu and extensive drink options. Great acoustics mean you may be close to other guests but your own conversation was quite private. Will be back.

Really nice experience as we stayed for the weekend for my wife's 40th birthday. There's a lovely spa in the basement. The reception lounge has a live band in the evening and the staff are very attentive. Having said that despite having a king room the view was not great despite asking in my notes to have a room with a nice view bcos of the special occasion. Also nothing on arrival from the hotel until I alerted them of my request. They delivered a little box of chocolates for the wife saying happy birthday which was nice. We went out for dinner on the sat night and came back to the hotel to spend the rest of time in their roof top bar. Very swanky, intimate and of course the views of London were to be remembered! The next morning I 'thought' I booked breakfast at the hotel but... fortunately I didn't bcos it's a bit pricey for what you get...no doubt all the overheads of a great experience is baked into the price. It meant we went outside the hotel to get breakfast. There were many options which is something I suggest. It gets you out the hotel a bit which is always nice because when you return you really appreciate the hotel more!

Nice lounge on ground floor. Very luxurious hotel and a decent crowns. Despite its location, it’s not too busy and not well-known. It’s expensive, so they probably keeps the crowds away too. M had two cocktails which were very good and well made. Service was good. Cocktails are very expensive, but not outrageous (considering London prices).

This is a lovely bar on the top floor of the Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square. The reception was welcoming, and both the cocktails and wine were excellent. Unfortunately, one of the waiters seemed distracted and disengaged – he clearly wasn't enjoying his shift that evening.

We got their around 6 pm. We loved the drinks, the service, and the ambiance. Great music, decoration on point and even the incense sticks smelled so good.

*This review is specifically for the NYE 2024 experience* We wanted a nice dinner with a great view of the London fireworks, so we decided to give 8 at the Londoner a try. They offer two types of reservations, the curated experience and the al la carte option. Both options will cost you 400 £ per person. Their signature cocktails were good but not amazing for the prices. The al la carte menu is slightly different from the curated but has a great selection of food. The lobster tempura was nice and fluffy and tasted great. The different tacos, such as the shrimp and Wagyu, were all excellent. Service was a bit slow, but it was a full house. We did ask to have our phones charged, which our waiter said wasn't a problem. An hour later, I go to get our phones, and they have less battery than when we gave them to him. They never plugged them in. The aerver staff, however, were all quite friendly and helpful in explanations, so forth. The view was amazing for us (see picture and video). If that is the view you are looking for and want to enjoy fine dining, then this may be a place for you.

Just go for a drink Cool architecture, decent music, good views and a cool suspended seating area. However… constantly pumping air freshener was way too strong and kills the flavours of food. Service was over fussy and felt a bit amateur, constantly at our table when we just wanted to be left alone, constantly pouring our bottle until it was empty. Food very average at Nobu prices. Overall ok for a drink but that’s all.

The rooftop bar is extremely dark over beside the window area, needed to use phone torch to read the menu. One of the servers, an Asian lady was lovely, however the other male server was rude and brash so we did our best not to deal with him. The non alcoholic cocktails were tasty however pricy considering they didn’t have alcohol in them. Wagyu hotdogs were small but delicious Overall it wasn’t what we expected and thus wouldn’t return

Very nice bar/hotel in Leicester square. Some lovely photogenic spots. When you enter the hotel there's a pretty Christmas tree to your Right, seating in the middle, and then a piano and drum set below a lovely staircase. You must check in with your reservation for 8 at the Londoner downstairs by the lift, then you'll be sent up to the 8th floor. Unfortunately we couldn't really see the view, as the doors to the terrace were locked, but nether the less the decor is lovely (more so to the left) so if you want to sit in the nicer and brighter area make sure you mention when booking. Our corner was still nice, but the speaker was too loud and the lights were too dim (only dim lights on the wall, so even the photos were terrible as there was no lighting coming from in front of us), and there was a couch, for half the table and small stalls for the other half, so not very comfortable. I ordered 1 cocktail, which wasn't any good and of course over priced, so I didn't order another. Everything I tried food wise was extremely lackluster, considering the cost it was shocking. I actually didn't enjoy anything I ate. The rib eye was cooked well, but the flavor was off. And the rib eye was better than the wagyu which is saying something. Honestly felt like I just threw my money in the trash, but I was there for a birthday so I didn't want to complain. If it wasn't for the service and the atmosphere, my rating would've probably been a 1. Although I was disappointed that I had to request that mine and the birthday girls coats could be put in the cloak room, considering they had offered everyone else, I waited about 40 minutes before I asked. The toilet is nice though - heated seats, built in bidet. I genuinely can't recommend any dish.
