Found this place after coming down to London late on a Friday night for a Chelsea game on the Saturday. Planned to eat in the restaurant at the hotel but it was closed by the time we got there. Went for a short work and found this restaurant. The owner was welcoming and the restaurant offered quality food and generous portion sizes at a very reasonable price considering the area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting good authentic Italian food!

Had such a lovely night, I met up with a group of friends who I never get to see but we were all at an event at the Chelsea football grounds so decided on this place as it was between there are our hotel. I didnt expect much but I was blown away. The portions are huge so be warned, the food was so tasty and the staff were amazing. They really made us feel so welcome and like regulars even though we hadn't ever been before. Next time I'm in the area i will definitely be coming back.

I have been a loyal customer here for years and years. Consistently great Italian food. All the menu is good but if you cannot decide the specials really are special. The owner Franco is fun and welcoming and will also give great advice on wine with your food. Brilliant.

Love this place!! Been going for years and don’t go enough. Familia Italian restaurant, you don’t get black tux service here, you get Franco (the owner) with a Lazio t-shirt tucked in around his pot belly. Family run. Food is good. Wine is good. Price is great!! Especially for the area. With Franco normally seemingly just making up the prices as your ask for the bill then scribbling the total out only to rewrite it even lower is just fun to see. Limoncello is a nice touch now and then. Perfect place for a “I can’t be bothered to cook tonight” vibe.

God I miss living 5 mins away from Franko the legend and his inauspicious but wonderful restaurant. Could eat there everyday! Food is excellent. Great value and real character for London. Calamari Fritti is an absolute must try. Never had a bad meal there in my 100s of visits.

I needed a coffee and google suggested I try this place. I walked into a what seemed a sit down restaurant but asked anyway. Even though there was a coffee shop just across the road, the gentleman made me one. One of the best coffees. 👌

Franco is a rockstar! He even helped us choose our meals and everything was spectacular!

Family-run style Italian with a Neapolitan chef. Nice waitress and padrone, Franco. We had risotto with funghi and it was very good, followed by sea bass, perfectly cooked.

Family restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. As soon as you see their bruscetta you know it's real Italian food. Everything was delicious and the owner is right there overseeing everything.

My local. I'm Italian and it's some of the best pasta I have had in London, and this coming from someone who regularly eats at some very high end Italian restaurants for work. Highly recommend the home made Ravioli Napoli, the Rigatoni Siciliana, the Penne alla Contadina, and the lobster Spaghetti. Also, the Ossobuco and the Nodino (veal chop) are excellent. Very large portions, super friendly atmosphere, and great section of wines for all budgets. If you're seriously into Italian food this place is a hidden gem!

One of THE BEST places to eat in the Chelsea/Fulham area. The prices are ridiculously low for the service, quantity AND quality of food (and wine.) Do yourself a favor if you are in the Chelsea area and eat here !!!!!!

Delicious Pizza and Ravioli. We also ordered Garlic Pizza Bread which was a whole Pizza with Garlic Oil. Bruschetta was really bad - two soft slices of bread with a mountain of unspiced tomatoes on top (no salt/pepper/garlic). Staff was not really nice and/or attentive, but overall it was good food.

Very disappointed about this restaurant. We went there because it had good reviews but the food was so bad we had to use condiments to make it taste better. I had the veal which wasn’t tender . The sides made you feel you were at a cheap restaurant or at a school dinner . The “owner or chef” was smoking outside the door and would cook right after without washing his hands

Cannot believe how much L'Antico has deteriorated since we last visited. Used to be our favourite pizzeria but now it's an absolute shambles. Made a reservation for our wedding anniversary only to find the restaurant was closed for a private function that nobody had bothered to mention when we booked. After much argument they reluctantly found us a table in what can only be described as a cupboard next to the toilets. The smell was revolting and we could hear every flush. Menu prices had increased dramatically whilst pizza sizes had shrunk. My wife's vegetarian pizza was clearly reheated leftovers whilst my pepperoni was tough and clearly poor quality. The bases were greasy and undercooked toppings were limp and flavourless. Our bottle of wine was corked but the waiter insisted it was fine and refused to replace it. Dessert never arrived despite us waiting twenty minutes and when we asked about it staff had clearly forgotten our order. The whole evening at L'Antico was a disaster that ruined our special occasion. Such a shame as this place used to be excellent but now it's just trading on past reputation.

Ordered a takeaway pizza. Wasn’t very nice at all and miserable service! Would not recommend and I will not be returning.

Denied entry just because I told the staff we would like to have drinks and starters and not sure if we would have mains. Owner claimed in the comments section that a reservation needed although we were offered a seat without previous reservation. Shocking service and staff attitude
