Sulo was helpful and there to help, overall the food was great both taste and the look. However the croissant was not crispy and crunchy enough, it was a bit chewy and even after reheating it was soggy. But overall it surely deserves a 5 star.
Visited Caffe concerto recently and I loved it! The food was flavorful and beautifully presented, especially the garden breakfast plate and its hot chocolate. The staff especially Marin N were welcoming and attentive, and the atmosphere felt warm and relaxed. Great spot for breakfast with friends or Family. Highly recommended
The coffee and atmosphere were amazing, but what truly made our visit special was the wonderful service. Marin (hope I got your name right!) was so friendly, welcoming, and even took the time to chat with us. We felt really taken care of and had such a lovely experience. Definitely coming back and highly recommend!”
My first experience was absolutely wonderful. The food is not only beautifully presented but also delicious, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the service by Marin N was outstanding — professional, friendly, and genuinely attentive. Highly recommended!
Caffè Concerto is a café chain with locations in the UK, France, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. An interesting mix of locations! -) To be honest, when we first came here, I thought this café was a one‑off establishment. It boasts beautiful decor, soft warm lighting, and mirrors — it feels like stepping right into the 19th century! The menu is fairly standard (at least for breakfast) - see photo. Prices are also typical for the area (high, but it's hard to find anything cheaper in London). The service is excellent: meals are prepared quickly and served to all guests at the table simultaneously. I ordered oatmeal, which was very good. The various toast options are quite generous — you could easily fill up on just one until lunchtime. The full English breakfast is as pictured - substantial and complete with all the classic components! -) During our visit (not during peak hours), the café was nearly full with maybe a couple of unoccupied tables. When we arrived, one hall was empty, but by the time we left, it was completely occupied. Visitors are not just tourists and locals, but also police officers stopping in for takeaway coffee. Which makes me think the coffee is both good and reasonably priced (again, by London standards). The café is located next to the Hard Rock Café Piccadilly (if you're looking for a more rugged interior and American rather than British fare). It's just a two‑minute walk to Piccadilly Circus. The café has an outdoor terrace, but it was too chilly to sit there, and while the view is decent, the street is rather busy. Caffè Concerto is quite lovely, nicely located, with delicious food. Highly recommended!
I continue appreciating Caffé concerto's opening hours as their restaurants are rare gems as places where you can go for a delicious cake and coffee in evening hours. The hot chocolate fondant was absolutely heavenly. Premises were clean and service pleasant. Thank you
Our server was Aniket.J and he was absolutely lovely, wonderful atmosphere and delicious food. Would definitely recommend
This is a personal favourite and a key reason I keep on returning. I genuinely believe it has the most diverse selection of dishes I’ve seen. I have visited Cafe Concerto multiple times and it just doesn’t disappoint. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere is always great irrespective of what branch one visits. My colleague went for the burger and enjoyed it and I was hugely surprised when I noticed they officially added French toast to their menu, I did recommend they include it sometime ago and they did. As a connoisseur I had to try it. It was far from my favourite but it did the job for the day. Overall, a great all round restaurant and highly recommend it.
honestly one of the best italian restaurants the vibes the food and the staff were all amazing the tiramisu and pizza was soooo yummy!
A lovely spot in the heart of Piccadilly. Beautiful interior, relaxed atmosphere, and a great place to sit down for coffee, pastries, or a light meal. The service was friendly and the overall vibe felt elegant but welcoming. Perfect for a quick break while exploring the area.
Lovely place in the heart of London, very close to Piccadilly Circus and Oxford Str. Marin N was great and very welcoming, just as the rest of the team.
Absolutely beautiful inside, the chandeliers are gorgeous and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. My server Wellington made my first afternoon tea experience easy and wonderful! I came in confused on how to order and he helped me understand the way afternoon tea works. I had a delicious spread and got to try clotted cream & scones! The food was great & I would definitely recommend this to people back home in Chicago who may be visiting London. Go! You will love it 🥰
Café Concerto was one of the places I had been wanting to visit for a long time, and it truly lived up to my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the aroma of freshly baked cakes and pastries filled the air, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Every dessert looked absolutely beautiful — colorful, elegant, and full of character — and each one had its own distinct flavor. We couldn’t get enough of the delicious selection; everything tasted so fresh, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. What I loved most was how the café offered the perfect spot to unwind after a pleasant evening walk. It’s the kind of place where you can sit back, enjoy a warm drink, and watch the world go by while savoring something sweet. The combination of relaxing music, friendly service, and delightful treats makes it a truly special experience. Whether you’re looking for a quiet moment to yourself or a cozy place to share with friends, Café Concerto is an absolute must. I wholeheartedly recommend stopping by — it’s the perfect blend of comfort, taste, and charm that will make you want to come back again and again.
Marin N was a lovely waiter, very helpful and attentive. The food was delicious, nice presentation and very creative menu! Highly recommend 🙂
Arzoo served me and she was great and the food and interior is very good I liked it
The cake was absolutely delicious! Special thanks to Mr. Marin N for the very professional and kind service. Perfection!
I have been traveling around London for a few days and came across this gem. I can not say enough good things! Ylli provided out of this world service, the food is 5 star without the price tag & the desert is as good as the pictures! The food presentation was exceptional. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!
Nice place. Marin N attend us, such a professional guy and he suggested us the best food and drink which really good and worth every penny. Will return
Marin N was really nice, perfect service and pastries. Vegan pastries available (raspberry chocolate cake and pistachio cake)!
Great food, amazing stuff on the menu and so many options, and great service from Marin N, thank you!!!! ❄️🎄🎁🍲🍝🍝🍝🍝🍝🍝
This cafe surpassed our expectations. We had thought it is a nice-looking cafe with good cakes yet average food, but wanted to try as we were all hungry and tired.. The food is of excellent quality. We ordered four cheese gnocchi, prawn risotto, courgette soup and risotto balls and thoroughly enjoyed them all..
It was a wonderful lunch we had ! Rachid was extremely pleasant & also delivered our food very efficiently! The restaurant is conveniently located , it has a good menu ! I recommend the Salmon - please note the portions are large ! There is a huge variety pastries and cakes !
Marin N, Amazing service! The waiter was very polite and helpful.”
I had a great experience at the café! The food was delicious with a nice variety to choose from. The portion sizes were just right, and the service was excellent. They also had some unique dishes that really stood out. Definitely worth a visit!
Husband & I had lunch there. He ordered the coronation chicken sandwich and cold beer. I had some scones with cream & strawberry spread. Both were okay, not amazing. Staff was very busy, so... not very attentive, but kind. Atmosphere was okay, felt a little over crowded. There was a fry on the floor next to me, where I almost put my purse! And, the women's restroom was so dirty (with a poop blowout) that the ladies were in line for the men's restroom. If the restrooms were larger (than a one person stall) and there were a few less tables on the floor (helping the crowded atmosphere & allowing the servers to be able to be more attentive with fewer tables)... it would elevate the experience to be 5 start worthy.
Had a wonderful experience here for afternoon tea via Virgin Experiences. Rejaul our waiter done everything he could to make sure our experience was pleasant and served with a smile despite only two people working and it being busy. I will definitely be back :)
Marin N The service was good, and food were also very nice. When you visit, you should try scone.
Coffee Concerto is one of our family’s favourite spots for a meal. They have several nice branches serving halal food , which makes everyone feel included and happy.I recently went with my daughter for Iftar mad online reservation just 15 minutes breaking our fasting The service was exceptional nice.polite and friendly. The food was simply amazing the lamb ,the soup of the day the desserts were delightfully, Well done to the talented chef for crafting such wonderful meals for us. However,I was slightly disappointed that they didn’t have dates , which is a traditional item for breaking our fasting , typically enjoyed with a glass of water .As a coffee lover , coffee was below my expectations , for £5 , I expected a better quality coffee. Overall,I am a very happy customer and will definitely return often.I want to extend my gratitude to all staff for their hard work; there were only three of them , yet they constantly ensured everyone was content.A special thank to the manager,SULO - your politeness and professionalism made us feel welcome , and I truly appreciate your kindness and respect. Thank you Mr.S.Beqiri
We had a great experience at Cafe Concerto and Marin N has made us feel very welcome, he prepared a table for our large group very quickly, and treated us very well, we felt like at home. He catered to all our diverse needs at the table and we would love to come back here again ! Highly recommended waiter and experience !
We visited this Caffe on Christmas night, and although it was very busy, the experience was excellent. A special thanks to Marin N for his warm and attentive service. He kindly helped us change to a more comfortable table despite the crowd, which we really appreciated. The desserts were beautifully presented and delicious. Definitely a place worth coming back to.
Enoya le tea sitting by the windows. Nice food, fresh tasting and nicely presen ted. Tea was delicious. Seevice good. Marin helped with boxing a few little tats and s onez we were too full to finish. To take home for later. All in all a nice treat worth the price.
We had dinner here and Marin N and Sharmin was really polite and very welcoming. The food was wonderful. They deserve a promotion for their approaching with the guests. If you come here please ask for them, they are amazing. We will be back!!
After more than 20 years of back and forth travels to London, I was pleased to discover Caffè Concerto. The welcome was not warm but the service by Rejaul covered it up. The food was nice, scones nevertheless a bit too dry. Nice and peaceful atmosphere.
Nice. Dessert sounds good to me! A cute little Italian inspired cafe just off of Piccadilly Circus. Very busy and a little bit crowded but the food was delicious. The service was a little bit spotty like maybe they were short on staff but everyone was very friendly and polite. I think my favorite thing was the window filled with dessert!!
Food is delicious!!! You get what you pay for. The desserts are delicious but don't sit on the mains! Pizza's and pasta dishes are so fresh and tasty The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because it took staff 25 minutes from once we sat down to ask what drinks we wanted and take our order (i know its london but most places are pretty good, 25 minutes was a bit long)
The place is great for a quick coffee or tea, the service was great and definitely you should try some desserts.
Visited the branch after 7 years- this used to be my favorite place for cakes and I adored their yule ligs. The place was super busy. Coffee was great as usual. Tiramisu was good too however the disappointment was with the cake which we wanted to try....We just went in for coffee so didn't try much food. Except for the customer service by the staff, won't be returning for the cakes..
I visited the café and ordered a rose latte. Unfortunately, it didn’t have any rose syrup just a rose garnish on top, so it ended up tasting like a regular latte. That’s the main reason I had to cut a star. Aside from that, the staff was friendly and the interior was nicely done. There’s also outdoor seating available, which is a great option for good weather.
I love Caffè Concerto since 10 years now. The flower tea a and the rose syrup coffee were amazing. But 35 minutes(!!!) waiting for these 2 and 1 slice of cake and 1 water is ridiculous. Shame
Sulo has taken good care of us. We just stoped for a tea and scones. The scones were dry. But the price, to be in Central London (Piccadilly) is unbeatable.
The staff could be a bit more familiar with the menu, some tables weren’t properly cleaned (we changed tables to sit in a bit more cleaner area). The food was overpriced and definitely not fresh ! Avoid the afternoon tea !
Because this place is located in on of the prime location,Therfore,They don’t care about customer satisfaction.Sevice is really bad.Prodcys are not wow.Only good thing about this place is location. Thats all
Food only looks good. It tastes stale. Scones old and taste of backing powder. Very disappointing. The clotted cream was partially dried out, old looking. Tee didn’t have any flavor. The ambience is of a worn down, dirty and dated room. Food is served in plastic containers and on plastic plates.
Great location, and ambience really comfortable. Let down by overpriced food and terrible service. Don't mind paying top end prices if the food and service are on point. Unfortunately I've had better value for money with service at Wetherspoons and that's saying something...... There was enough waiting staff, but badly managed, or lack of experience. We waited 20 minutes to be asked for drinks and that was only because we called them over. We saw a couple leave after 10 minutes of waiting. It wasn't busy. No attention at all to customers. Could be ok with the right attention to detail. Food nothing to shout about - location and comfort great. Work it out....
Busy venue with rude, pushy service We came in for drinks and were immediately told we had to order either desserts or dinner. Half of the dessert menu wasn’t available anyway. On top of that, Sharmina approached our table three times to take our order almost immediately after we sat down, before we’d even had a chance to open the menu, which felt very rushed and uncomfortable. The flat white cost £6.95 and the milk was completely burnt, you can’t really tell it’s a coffee. The gingerbread hot chocolate didn’t have a cookie on top and didn’t taste like gingerbread at all. I mentioned this to one of the managers, who brought us extra syrup, which I appreciated. The Black Forest cake was okay and tasted fresh, but the chocolate fondant was fully cooked through and hard instead of runny. Unfortunately, the service was the worst part. Sharmina had a very unprofessional attitude. She asked if she could take one of the chairs from our table. We agreed, but when she couldn’t get past, she told my boyfriend to stand up, grabbed his jacket, moved it to another chair, took his chair, and told him to use a different one. Shortly after, she told the table next to us who had already been seated and were waiting for guests, that they needed to order immediately because there was a queue waiting for tables. I had to ask for the bill twice. When it finally arrived, it included a 25% discretionary service charge. Sharmina then instead of asking if everything was okay dropped “And today you want to remove the service charge?” probably because it was Christmas Day. The bill was extremely high for what you get. Poor service, overpriced food, and an hilarious 25% discretionary charge. 6.5% is service charge and 18.5% is for “hospitality excellence.” What excellence exactly am I being asked to pay for?
The cakes are the same taste, my guest told me people can buy cake from any store less price much better quality then here. The waiter just put the cutlers on one side of the table and left l it for us to manage it. By the way they should be use a service tray for the cutlers. waiter did Bring the cutlers whit in hand, it is very low standard. Not what you expect for 13.5% service change. The waiter did No check-up no asking for feedback. What you see on the pictures inot the waiter's professional
The welcome leaves much to be desired. You’re not greeted with a “Hello,” but rather a curt “How many are you?” No choice of tables is offere ! We were placed next to the kitchen. When we asked to move to another available table, we were told it wasn’t possible because larger tables were reserved for groups of more than two, as per the manager’s instructions. However, a few minutes later, another couple was seated exactly at that table. When we asked for an explanation, we were told they had supposedly reserved it. The inconsistency and lack of professionalism were disappointing. The experience also left us with an uncomfortable impression that guests are not always treated equally. As for the food, it was bland and lacked character. Service was inattentive, and staff communicated by shouting across the room. In summary: There are plenty of better options in the Piccadilly area. I would recommend trying elsewhere.
I visited Cafe Concerto on 21.11.25 around 10:30 pm with friends. The experience was terrible because of the man serving tea and desserts. He looked around his late fifties or early sixties. His behavior ruined the visit. He spoke to us in a rude tone when we asked a simple question about the tea pot. We asked how many glasses the small pot serves. He replied with 15 in a sarcastic and disrespectful way. The pot was clearly small and could never serve that many. His attitude was unnecessary and unpleasant. When I refused to pay the service charge because of his behavior, he accused us of trying to save money. This was unprofessional and insulting. His words and tone felt discriminatory. No guest should face this kind of treatment. People visit a cafe for a good time. They expect basic respect. This staff member did not show any. His manager should speak to him because he is damaging the reputation of the place. His service was rude, careless, and completely unacceptable.
Service was very slow. The food was overpriced and the quality was mediocre to poor. There were flies on the cake. The cake was initially exchanged without hesitation, but the new one was burned (Crème brûlée flambéed for too long). But he was also removed from the bill without hesitation.
I had a really unpleasant experience with the waiter here on Sunday 4th Jan around 4 pm in the Piccadilly Branch . So rude, overfamiliar, insulting and offensive. He indicated that I looked older than my friend who is my contemporary and that I must be the mother He asked "Is she your daughter|. I said "What do you mean? He said "She looks younger than you. You look older. She looks nice," What kind of offensive conversation is that to make ? Apart from the insult on age we are of contrasting ethnic heritage and look vastly dissimilar so regardless of age I can never be the mother. This is a waiter/man I dont know from Adam. In addition, when he first came to our table he was over excited. loud , he acted like my long lost friend because he has seen me in the other branch round the corner, making so much noise and being over familiar. After he rudely insulted me he tried to fist punch me and my friend like we were best buddies and made so much noise trying to laugh and act like he was part of the friendship. His manners were like a third world peasant and he didnt seem like he was integrated into British society. I didnt come in to Concerto to be insulted while I am minding my own business talking to my friend. I wont be coming to the restaurant again and will not encourage my friends to come if they are going to be insulted like I was while that man works there. I really dont know how you select your staff but this man's behaviour was appalling and disgusting manners. I think his name was something like "Balmain" . I informed your manager Solus who was helpful.
