I recently had the pleasure of enjoying high tea at The Drawing Room, and it was an absolutely delightful experience from start to finish. The menu, featuring an array of sandwiches, pastries, and scones, was a perfect blend of classic and creative, showcasing their culinary finesse. The sandwiches were a standout, each bite-sized portion was meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The staff’s knowledge of the teas was remarkable, as they guided us through pairings with genuine enthusiasm and expertise. The service was nothing short of outstanding. The team Lefter, Carol and Akshay was attentive, warm, and professional, ensuring our teapot was always topped up and our needs met without being intrusive. The ambiance of the restaurant, with its elegant yet cozy decor, created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing afternoon. The Drawing Room has truly mastered the art of high tea, delivering exquisite food and impeccable service. I can’t wait to return for another indulgent experience. Highly recommended!

We came here to celebrate my mother’s 70th birthday and the experience was fantastic. The tea was delicious and so was the food. The place was also decorated for the holidays which made the ambiance even better. Lefter, Ranjata and Akshay were fantastic.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at The Drawing Room for Afternoon Tea. I had the chance to sample two teas: the Cornish Grown and the Rare Afternoon. Both were exquisite, but the Cornish Grown was definitely my favorite. The food selection paired beautifully with both teas. A special mention to Lefter and Akshay, whose service was exceptional—attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Overall, it was a wonderful experience I’d highly recommend!

I came to The Drawing Room for my birthday and it was such a great experience. My husband and I were seated in the beautiful floral chairs (which I was secretly hoping for!) and were treated to amazing tea, sandwiches, scones, and sweets. Everything was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. The room itself is lovely and comfortable. I really must highlight the staff, especially Lefter and Myron, who were so attentive and respectful of all dietary restrictions. Everyone who we spoke to was kind and sincerely wanted to make my birthday special, which they did!

Brown’s does a quintessential British tea In the heart of Mayfair. Lefter & Maria took care of us and gave exceptional service not on to my sister and me, but to our pets as well. Absolutely would recommend to anyone visiting London.

Afternoon tea was a Christmas present from my partner I had the plant based one and an alternative drink to champagne and he had the normal one Both were absolutely lovely and the staff couldn’t have been better or more informed and helpful Plenty of teas were available too A most enjoyable experience thank you x

High tea at Brown's was one of the highlights of our recent trip to London. Its all about the room, which we found less high-brow than expected, and yet thoroughly delightful in its tasteful pairing of the traditional and the artistic; as well as the incredibly gracious service. This made the experience so wonderful. And of course the tea and scones and other savories and sweets were as perfect as one would expect. Kudos to this superbly run hotel and in particular the F&B teams. This is really as good as it gets.

We were welcomed warmly, received excellent service and did not feel rushed. The food was delicious with a nice variety. It was a fantastic experience!

Outstanding afternoon tea experience. We came here for a birthday and the whole setting was simply sublime. They also accommodated our child with a seeet kids menu.

We had a perfect afternoon at the Drawing Room for afternoon tea! Archi and Akshay were amazing! They were so friendly and helpful! There was also a live piano player that was delightful. Archi recommended we return for Drawing Room After Dark for the jazz night, and we did! It was a highlight from our time in London! We highly recommend both afternoon tea at the drawing room and the drawing room after dark! We will for sure be including both in our agenda the next time we are in London!

Wonderful tea today at The Drawing Room! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, nothing was too much trouble for every single person who works at Browns. With a vegan, a veggie and a gluten and coconut allergy between us- it was seamless from start to finish and could not have asked for more! Thank you to all who made our afternoon truly memorable!

Akshay, Karol and Mason made our afternoon really special. We really felt as if it was the very best service and absolutely delicious tea but it’s relaxed and you are made to feel as if every person receives the same treatment. It really is a lovely place, where detail is key and the food is wonderful, fresh and with great flavour combinations. There must be a very talented pastry chef at Browns. Thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea.

What a lovely and beautiful room for an afternoon high tea. The food was nice, there were so many desserts and the tea menu was expansive. We each got two different kinds and they lured for us and everything. The interior was so luxurious and gorgeous.

Had afternoon tea in the drawing room! From start to finish everything was amazing. The staff was attentive, informational, and super friendly. We had the festive menu and started off with a glass of champagne and a taste of mulled wine. Our sandwiches were tasty (even had 2 rounds). Best Biscuits I’ve had. Overall it was a great experience and worth the value!

Excellent afternoon in the drawing room for Afternoon Tea. Splendid environment and the hotel decked out in Christmas decorations - really lovely. We loved the pianist playing in the background. The food and beverages were excellent and the service superb - a call out to the drawing room manager and one of the waiters Lefter who looked after us. Would thoroughly recommend for an afternoon treat.

We had a lovely family experience at the Drawing Room at Brown’s Hotel, made even better by Lefter. He was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. His thoughtful service and attention to detail truly elevated the experience. We had tea here this afternoon and while food was good, I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the teas… some were served in extremely boiling water, and others were just of regular quality, nothing too different from a one bought at Waitrose. The pianist was really good. The service was on the other side not good, we had a waiter who looked very bothered by us, dropping stuff on the table, rushing us through the sandwiches… this made the experience rather unpleasant. So overall mixed experience but because it was £460/4 people I’d say try another one where service might be better. Edit: they also mixed savoury sandwiches with sweets in take away box.. and did not add all the scones we had left. Finally, I had a pin on my coat, that must have fallen when I gave it to the lady taking care of coats, and she didn’t look bother by it when I made her notice… so I left without the pin… it’s a lot of small things you would not expect at a place like that
