Really nice experience all of the staff were excellent Matteo - was exceptional Well done guys
The food is delicious. All prepared ro and excellent standard. The restaurant has a lively friendly atmosphere x
This place is a little gem actually hidden in Mayfair and has a limited seating plan which actually makes it really cosy to get dinner/lunch!! The decor inside also gives you vibes of an Italian cafe and some south of France vibes , it’s very well decorated as well! Starters were amazing and also the mains ordered were good portions and tasty! The service was also good with attention to detail! I was pleasantly surprised by this experience! Will be back again for lunch or another dinner! Keen to try some of their steak/red meat dishes!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Chucs Mayfair is an exceptional dining experience in the heart of London. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a refined yet cozy atmosphere that perfectly combines elegance with comfort. The décor is stylish and sophisticated, reflecting a true sense of Mayfair charm. The food is simply outstanding. Every dish is beautifully presented and full of authentic Mediterranean flavor. The pasta is fresh and cooked to perfection, the seafood dishes are exquisite, and the desserts are simply irresistible. Each bite feels thoughtfully crafted, showing the chef’s attention to both quality and detail. The service is another highlight — professional, polite, and genuinely caring. The staff make you feel truly looked after, offering great recommendations and making sure everything is perfect throughout your visit. Whether you’re going for a business lunch, a romantic dinner, or a relaxed meal with friends, Chucs Mayfair offers the ideal setting. It’s one of those places that leaves a lasting impression and makes you want to return again and again. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates fine dining, exceptional service, and a touch of luxury in every detail.
I had a lovely dinner at Chucs Mayfair on Monday evening (9th February) and it was absolutely wonderful. A special mention to Mattia, who looked after us so brilliantly: attentive, warm, genuinely lovely and really made the evening special. The food was delicious. It’s Italian and I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had an aubergine melanzane parmigiana that came close to my own… until now. This one completely knocked it out of the park - beautifully cooked, rich and wonderfully cheesy. And the tiramisu? Easily one of the best I’ve had in London! A perfect evening with great food, great service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful lunch here for the better half’s birthday! Stefano and Ivana were our wonderful hosts in this iconic slice of the Mediterranean yachting scene in Mayfair! Small, quaint and cosy, the restaurant has the feel of being on a yacht in south of France. A fabulous menu with many a familiar name, but in their own style and to a very high standard. The Cobb salad as a starter is recommended with good reason. All fresh ingredients and served with a delicious dressing. A real highlight. The calamari didn’t disappoint and the mains of the lamb ragu and crab risotto were superb too. Highly recommend this restaurant in its beautiful setting deep in Mayfair.
Chucs offers an exceptional dining experience. The service is impeccable, and the food is exquisite. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed and well taken care of. The ambiance is elegant yet cozy. Every dish is a delight, and the attention to detail is evident. Highly recommend for a memorable meal 👌🏼🫰🏼
Incredible food and service! For appetizers, I recommend tuna tartare and the beef carpaccio. For our main course, we had the lamb and the sea bream which were both cooked and seasoned to perfection! A must try restaurant! The restaurant is small, quaint and intimate so make reservations! Enjoy!
We stumbled upon this charming little restaurant, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for our birthday celebration. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the staff made us feel exceptionally welcome!
The danger of this place is everything tastes so good you can't stop ordering. By which point you've spent a fortune! Staff and service were all perfect. Decent covered outside tables. Blankets. Excellent food, special mention for the arancini and beef carpaccio. Good wine selection available in glass, carafe, bottle. Excellent treat night option!
This is one of Londons hidden gems that no one thinks that it would have such a good coffee besides the delicious food they have. Everyone passes tru old Bond Street but don’t really get out of their comfort zone and try new things. I can’t recommend this place enough especially for coffee lovers that understand the artistry. they have designs for their cups as well as napkins and plates, the atmosphere is amazing and you need to go this is what I demand 😂.
The food was very tasty. The portion sizes were adequate. Service was fantastic and the atmosphere was too. I recommend the calamari and the cod.
Lovely, intimate restaurant. The food was amazing and tbh loved everything about the overall experience. Kind staff 🤍 will be back. 💋
Food was amazing! The hostess was lovely and tried to accommodate the temperamental weather as we were seated on the terrace! Champagne delicious!
Amazing food, amazing place, amazing people 🍸
My favourite breakfast spot .. great veggie English breakfast ..the service was topnotch
Very cute and cosy Italian restaurant with good food, stuff and pleasant atmosphere
Lovely little restaurant, food, wine and service was fantastic
A cosy, homely restaurant in the middle of Mayfair. Delicious Sunday lunch, had chicken Milanase, pasta with duck and tuscan sausage ragu were excellent, crispy calamari and aranchini were also very good indeed. Service was attentive, will definitely return next time I'm in the area. Highly recommend
Delicious Italian food but more then that was the service, we been lucky to be seated without reservation, but I definitely recommend reserving a table.Thank you to Alina who make you feel wanted, welcomed, attentive, always careful not to miss eye contact when you my need something, almost guessing your thoutghs but in a nice and non intrusive way, all the staff is a star. The wines, very good selection but I can't mention is the best Negroni that I had so far, and then the food from pasta to truffle pizza. Stunning place.
Lovely little place. Best breakfast. We are coming back for dinner. Very close to our hotel
Had a lovely simple lunch - seared crispy seabass with caponata and a decent glass of house trebianno. It's a tiny place with small kitchen but was super busy the day we went which meant our food was very delayed - we didn't mind too much BUT was extremely impressed when the staff OFFERED a free desert and coffee as apologies. We declined but they insisted and brought this incredible, light fluffy tiramisu. Great service and intiative.
Brilliant place for brunch, lunch and dinner in an area where can be difficult to find a well priced restaurant. The service is friendly and professional. The place is small so book not to get disappointed. I had a great soya hot chocolate and poached eggs in an avocado toast. The portion was a little too small but taste great. They added a flower as garnish or decoration, it did not needed. Great vegetarian options.
Sunita she is such a sweet waitress I have ever seen. Food is good
Lovely ambiance, but service was slow. On our evening their freezer was broken (so no ice cream or sorbet for desert) the smash burger was “off”, risotto was sent back as it was cold…..To be honest the food was average, particularly given the price. Wine was very expensive!
Don't trust 'personal' reservation link. They promise to 'look after' recurring guests (e.g., other restaurants offer snacks or even a free drink for future visits) whereas there is no difference from normal reservations. Also, 'terrace dining' means a table on the sidewalk, another misleading description. Cozy restaurant with solid Italian classics, fresh bigoli cacio&pepe are a must (half portion available if you want to have a different main course). Service is fast but not rushed, very kind staff. Limited and predictable options for desserts, though there are some smart cocktails like the Tiramisu Martini.
The venue was lovely and intimate, a really nice setting for dinner with the low lighting and cosy atmosphere. The staff were also attentive and the service was good. I'd say the food was average at best, we ordered the gnocchi ragu and received a tagliatelle ragu instead, with a brief explanation that gnocchi was not available in this moment. The truffle pizza was also underwhelming but fine. Overall the food was overpriced for what it was but mostly reflects the location this is in, I'd recommend the pasta over the pizza from what we ordered.
This is a nice looking place in a great location, however the service was terrible! They were not busy at all and their were 3 staff on service, the waiters made us wait a long time to even get a menu let alone order anything. We also felt they did not like us but we didn’t feel we gave any reason for that. Was evident the other patrons felt the same way. We would have ordered more food other than the bread and butter and wine we ordered but no one came to wait on us so ended up just leaving.
Nice setting and food was pretty good but was incredibly slow and the service was a bit poor. Noone came and checked on how our meals were we had a missing item and weren't brought any parmesan for the pasta and risotto dishes. Not huge deals but as was a business lunch didn't feel appropriate to raise it with the staff. Might have been an off service for them but considering the price point and the competition in the area probably wouldn't go again.
The food was great but they have seating outside and leave front doors wide open and all of the smoke and vaping from the exterior diners came into the restaurant and made it unpleasant for the interior diners. They should keep the doors shut or ask their external diners not to smoke/vape.
Very average food, ok for a casual ish business meal. I would not spend own money here, it is very over priced and small restaurant
Had the Cobb salad for lunch, a dessert and accompanying non-alcoholic drinks at £55/person. Cobb salad definitely needs improvement to justify the price tag, even for Mayfair. OK but poor value.
I invited guests to Chucs Mayfair and was deeply embarrassed by the poor quality of the food. The dishes lacked freshness and flavor, and the overall experience fell far below expectations. Unfortunately, I regret choosing this restaurant for such an occasion.
The worst of the worst! From the very first moment, the receptionist was rude and disrespectful in an infuriating way, and the manager on duty was even worse — cold, dismissive, and completely unconcerned about customer dissatisfaction. I asked to sit outside, and was told it was full, yet every single outdoor table remained empty the entire time we were there. The burger we ordered was a complete disaster with no taste or quality, and the pizza was nothing but dry dough with no tomato sauce, as if it were just plain bread. Terrible service, awful food, and management that clearly has zero respect for its customers. A disgusting experience I will never repeat, and I strongly urge everyone to avoid this place entirely.
I’ve stopped by for a coffee before and had a generally nice service. Today I was met by an absolutely miserable young waitress, full of a heavenly ego and air of “wth” am I doing here. Im waiting around to have a meeting with some producers from abroad, but after my coffee was slapped down and a stroppy service I’ve decided to move next door. Just as I’m writing this she brushed off a man who just asked her for the bill. It’s not particularly busy at all so no excuse really. Just a young arrogant ego filled waitress. I generally wouldn’t write a review, but blimey I’ve never seen someone so miserable! Definitely won’t be coming back for breakfast or coffee much rather pay that extra bit for a nicer service next door.
avoid at all costs very rude staff that profile people I asked for a table as I was a regular was told no tables only to watch the lady give a table to 3 white guys (no reservations as I spoke with them outside b4 I entered the restaurant) after she waited for me to leave when I returned to ask why she had done that she replied I never seen anybody that looks like you in our place before! eddy your team would not recall it because the chef (came upstairs ) and security from across the road all condoned her behaviour so please dont tell me what happened to me at your establishment multiple people saw and heard what Maria did and everybody defended her racist actions I asked for contact details to complain they refused to give so I stand by my review on the racist actions of your ex and maybe e still current staff if the chef /kitchen staff are the same and ps I edited this review recently to add the pic. as this happened before Maria left
IGNORANT . I recently visited this restaurant and had an incredibly disappointing experience. After placing my order, I waited for an entire hour without receiving my cup of coffee that should not take more then 10 minutes maximum. During this time, I spoke to two different waiters. Finally, I escalated the issue to the manager, hoping for a resolution. However, the manager's response was simply "sorry," with no effort made to rectify the situation or offer any form of compensation. This level of service is unacceptable, and I would not recommend this place to anyone seeking a pleasant dining experience.
Possibly the worst meal ive ever had in my life and a waste of around a £140+. For starters, we ordered the burrata which was dry/ state, and tasteless arancini balls. For mains we ordered a pizza which was tiny and burnt. The waiter added extra drinks to our bill (only ordered two soft drinks) when we called him over, he knew straight away there was extra drinks on the bill and offered to take them off without us even saying anything. Overall, a complete waste of money there are such nice Italian places in London and this just isn’t one of them. A real pity as we were celebrating a birthday.
I had a very disappointing experience at Chucs Mayfair. The food was far from fresh, and the waiting time was excessively long. Shockingly, there were only two staff members in the entire restaurant, which resulted in slow and inattentive service. Definitely not worth the visit
With all the communication before and after the booking and paying around £80 for fries and a pizza, it was very annoying to find out that the server had stolen my umbrella.
