Il Gattopardo is an absolute gem! From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. The service was impeccable—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The food was simply divine; every dish was bursting with authentic Italian flavors, and you could taste the freshness of the ingredients. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. A perfect spot for a cozy dinner or a special occasion. Highly recommend!

Wonderful food with a great atmosphere. Perfect for a relaxing but classy evening with culinary delights such as Pasta Vongole, which was my favourite, along with the delicious Crudo. The restaurant also has a Terrace Bar which has an opening roof, perfect for smoking cigars and drinks. All of the staff took great care of us superlatively, we will definitely be back again!

Great Italian food in London. Although we only ordered three dishes, they all were absolutely delicious, the burrata was maybe the best I have ever had. The service is great and the atmosphere is amazing. Definitely recommend!

Il Gattopardo London is truly a beautiful experience from start to finish. The décor is absolutely stunning refined, stylish, and full of character. The staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout. The food was exceptional. I especially loved the concept of sharing starters it made the experience feel warm and convivial. The pastas were outstanding, and the meat dishes were simply incredible. The weather was beautiful, so I had the pleasure of sitting outside and enjoying a drink. The outdoor service was just as impeccable. Sipping my tea while watching people pass by made the whole experience even more enjoyable. I left genuinely impressed and very satisfied.

The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and elegantly put together. We like the idea of small sharing dishes — it meant we could try a wider variety of flavours. But the absolute highlight was the Tiramisu and the Gelato. Honestly, the desserts might be the best I’ve had in London. Since I’m not a fan of overly sweet British desserts, this version was perfect for me.

I went for my early birthday dinner, it was AMAZING. The food was perfect, the ambiance and the service too! The food was realllly good, especially the octopus salad, lobster pasta and Milanese, which was very crispy and fresh. Thank you so much :)

My experience at Il Gattopardo was truly exceptional. The atmosphere was elegant, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We were served by Armando, who was extremely kind and helped us a lot in choosing the dishes. His recommendations made our visit even better. And honestly, the tiramisu was absolutely delicious — I highly recommend everyone to try it! Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and I would definitely come back again.

Had a really nice experience at Il Gattopardo. The restaurant is beautiful and has a calm, elegant vibe without feeling too formal. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, and made us feel comfortable and well looked after the whole time. We went for the set menu, and the food was really tasty, full of flavour, and nicely presented. Everything felt fresh and well prepared. The only small downside was that the portions were a bit on the smaller side, especially with the set menu, so if you’re very hungry you might want to order an extra dish. Overall, great service, good food, and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely go back.

This is by far one of the best Italian restaurants In London and probably in the world ! Our server Marco made the food and experience even more perfect ! We will def come again and again ❤️

What a super restaurant if I could I would of given 6.5 stars we were looked after by the amazing Tullio and Arni , the service here is second to none and the food is out of this world we booked for my daughters 20th and it exceeded expectations I think this is now our favourite London restaurant and we can’t wait to return. Atmosphere is lovely and chilled as well as fantastic central location. Thanks everyone for a very special afternoon.

We went there for friends birthday and had set menu. Food delicious service great I gave 4* for atmosphere as felt place was quite small and felt its quite popular as the restaurant was quite booked up Other than that everything eas great. Compliments to all staff from hosts to chefs . Thank you. Planning to come back

My wife and I ate here last night and I felt compelled to write how absolutely incredible this place was. If I could give service 5 more stars, I would. We absolutely adored this restaurant in every way. The food was AMAZING. Absolutely perfect dishes, and we ordered as many as we could eat. Our waiter has the warmest and kindest personality and literally made the experience. And the restaurant is just stunningly beautiful. Excellent wine selections as well. I had a half bottle of 2010 Sassicaia and was very impressed they had a half bottle of it on the menu— particularly for that vintage. I was just so impressed with this place and would strongly encourage anyone considering it to do so, you won’t regret it.

Went with a group of friends for some drinks and dinner and absolutely loved this place. Starting with the service, everyone was so warm and attentive. You could really feel the authentic Italian atmosphere, and the ingredients and flavors were just as real. We tried a great variety of antipasti and pizzette, and to finish, of course, the tiramisu and maritozzo, which made the perfect closure. Definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommend!

As always pretty incredible. With eye watering prices and mouth watering food, it is thankfully worth the pretty penny. It's laid back, elegant and cozy all at once, everything is delicious but the Arancini and Crab pasta were my favourite. Make sure to leave room for dessert, the single serving of Tiramisu is enough for 2 but you won't want to share!

Initially, I heard about Il Gattopardo on TikTok, while searching for a restaurant to book for my friends birthday. We visited on Sunday 16th November, and I’m so glad we did! The quality of the food is amazing, with good portions and they were able to accommodate my requirements. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very chic, classy and stylish, perfect for a girls dinner, and the ambience is perfect with Italian music. Perfect for taking pictures ladies! Additionally, the service is amazing, all the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and our food arrived promptly. The team also brought a dessert with a custom text on the plate saying happy birthday, and a little note which was very sweet. I truly recommend this restaurant as it’s hard to find an aesthetically pleasing place with quality food, and a service with a smile! Thank you to the team who looked after us that evening x

We came here last week and absolutely LOVED it. We ordered a selection of starters; the standout was the smoked burrata, it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The seafood was fresh and delicious and all the flavours were perfectly balanced. Pasta was perfectly cooked and the tirimasu!! You need to try it!! The service here is amazing, the perfect combination of that Mayfair high-end service but also with super friendly and lovely staff so you feel at home. The manager Tullio was incredible and made sure everything was 10/10. We will be back :)

Dining at Ill Gattopardo Mayfair was such a treat honestly, it’s become one of my favorite places in London. From the minute I arrived, the staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable, almost like I was at a friend’s beautiful dinner party. The interior has this cozy, glamorous vibe, with velvet chairs and soft lighting, and those fun little leopard-print details that give it such personality. The food blew me away. The pasta was incredibly fresh, and the seafood dishes tasted like they’d come straight from the coast. Everything was presented so thoughtfully, and sharing plates with friends just made the meal feel more special. I have to mention their tiramisu — it was easily the best I’ve ever had, and the cocoa-powder logo made it feel extra memorable. What really made the night stand out, though, was the atmosphere. There’s this lively buzz to the place, but it never felt noisy or overdone. The staff went out of their way to make our meal perfect, whether they were recommending a great wine or making sure we never ran out of fresh bread. If you’re looking for a spot that’s both indulgent and genuinely welcoming, Ill Gattopardo is a must-try.

Gattopardo London delivers a polished, highly enjoyable night out. From the outset, the room feels confident and contemporary, with a strong sense of rhythm. The music is well judged, the crowd is stylish, and the overall energy is unmistakably trendy. The menu is well composed and genuinely satisfying. Dishes arrive with clarity and consistency, and the cooking matches the ambition. The wine offering is also a highlight, with a selection that complements the food well and invites exploration rather than just ticking familiar boxes. Service is one of the restaurant’s strongest points. Both the sommelier and the waitstaff were personable, attentive, and professional throughout. It felt effortless in the best way, with good timing and a natural warmth that elevated the experience. The only real drawback was comfort. Sitting along the long side on the sofa was slightly awkward. The seating is low, and you really do need extra cushions to sit comfortably at table height. It is a small detail, but one that matters over a full meal. In terms of clientele, the room skewed young on our visit. The majority appeared to be in the 25 to 32 range, with a smaller mix of older guests and an older generation again. That youthful energy is part of the concept and it will appeal to many, but it may read as slightly too young for some, in a way that can occasionally feel a touch performative (we are 36 and 41). Still, the fundamentals are very strong. Good food, good wine, and genuinely good hospitality. If you are looking for a stylish, modern dining room with atmosphere, Gattopardo is an easy recommendation, with the small caveat that the seating could be improved for comfort.

Had a lovely experience with my family two days ago. We came to celebrate my daughter’s birthday, and i must say, we were blown away by the quality of service. Our waiter was Armando, and he really made sure we were looked after the whole night. Very good portions of food, and the quality of the products can be really seen. Definitely will come again!

I don’t know very much, but I know what I like and I LOVE the food here. In my most humble of opinions, they may well serve the best Veal Milanese and Pasta in London. The service is light-hearted, but impeccable and they strike just the right balance of being a “serious” restaurant whilst being welcoming and embracing. I have sent many people here and they all come back raving about the experience. Highly recommended.

This is my first visit to Gattopardo Restaurant. I went there for dinner with my friend, when I was in London in January 2025. The restaurant has a calm and nice atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. The food was good and the best thing was their famous tiramisu.

The Caesar salad was tasty and the staff were very nice, but the pasta was mild and not filling, and the tiramisu was a bit mushy.

A very strong contender on the London food scene and would recommend if you're looking for good Italian dining! You know there is serious financial backing if a restaurant is opened by the same group that owns Amazonica, Zuma, Roka and Coya!! The terrazza dining area at the back is something a little different for London. I wouldn't describe it as "dining under stars" but a nice novelty and away from the bustling main dining room. Food was great apart from a few dishes that I would not order again (e.g. spaghetti vongole). The trifle dessert was the best we have ever eaten in a restaurant but definitely one that has to be shared. It's way too much for one person. Other stand out dishes were the crudo (tuna and sea bass), the polenta (side dish), tempura prawns/squid/fish and the prawn risotto. Service was very professional and attentive. It’s so refreshing to experience good service in Mayfair establishments! We look forwarding to returning!

Il Gattopardo is everything that is good and disturbing about Mayfair. It encompasses the Mayfair energy, elegant, thoughtfully designed and good fare. I fear though, that Mayfair is pricing itself into a recession. The pricing elastic is being stretched and stretched - we all know how this ends. A meal for three at just under £500 with a middle of the road Franciacorta is not sustainable in any economy most certainly not in the current UK economy. Thankfully though, the service is attentive, the acoustics excellent and the fare good. The cliched white truffle pasta was on offer at a mere £75! The Piedmontese would be rolling in the aisles! For the well heeled and for those tapping the company card, it is well worth a visit.

The restaurant was recommended by the concierge of the hotel. However, I was disappointed with everything. They gave us a table near the kitchen entrance. The staff were busy with a party or a company gathering. We ordered three starters, two main dishes, and later added a pizza. All of them were just okay. If you go there, just order the dessert – it's their best.

I recently visited your restaurant in London after seeing several recommendations on social media, especially for your tiramisu. I made a reservation for an outdoor table to meet a friend for coffee and dessert. Upon arrival, I informed the hostess of our reservation. She initially asked if it was for lunch, to which I replied that we were there for coffee and dessert. She then informed us that coffee and dessert were served only outside, which was perfect for us as that’s where we reserved. However, she mentioned that all outdoor tables were full and that the outside seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, despite my reservation. We were told to wait outside, with the assurance that we were first on the list for the next available table. While waiting, I was disappointed to observe that a table was given to another group who had a reservation, even though we were told reservations were not accepted for outdoor seating. When I pointed this out, a second staff member intervened to calm the situation, offering us the next available table. However, the inconsistency in your seating policy and the way the situation was handled left us with a negative impression. To make matters worse, it became apparent that guests were being pressured to order lunch rather than just enjoying dessert and coffee, which did not align with the expectations set when we made our reservation. I hope this feedback helps improve your customer service and clarify your reservation policies to avoid such confusion in the future.

The waiter was shockingly rude—he literally threw the bill onto our table while standing two tables away. On top of that, we were scammed with a 20% service charge, even though the menu clearly states 16%. Absolutely unacceptable. Overall, this was a terrible experience, and frankly, it doesn’t even come close to the standard of Il Gattopardo in Dubai

The ambience was lovely and the service was excellent. We tried the beef fillet and found it pretty average, with nothing that really stood out in terms of flavor or quality. The lobster pasta was disappointing, as it had a noticeable fishy taste that made it hard to enjoy. For the price, I honestly expected a much better dining experience.

I went to this restaurant last night with my mum for our birthday dinner. The atmosphere was nice, and we were excited to celebrate. The food was good, but honestly, not amazing for the price — quite overpriced for what we got. One thing that really stood out to me was that we had to ask for bread. In Italy, they usually bring fresh bread to the table straight away, so that was a bit disappointing. I also didn’t really enjoy the waiter’s service, especially considering we paid extra for it. However, a big thank you to Giosep, who truly made the night more special. He brought us more champagne and even offered limoncello shots on the house — such a nice touch that made us feel celebrated. Overall, it was a mixed experience: lovely moments thanks to Giosep, but not quite worth the high price.

It hurts me to write this review because this restaurant is one of my favorite go to spots. The service is amazing and the management is great. The food is delicious especially the small pizzas and risotto and all their desserts! Unfortunately yesterday we ordered their whole chicken dish and we didn’t really like the chicken it looked bland and I couldn’t figure out how to eat it as it felt undercooked. Today me and my friend both coincidentally woke up nauseous and throwing up. I’m pretty sure it was the chicken because I could see it clearly undigested. Sorry for the details. I’m very disappointed we both had to stay at our homes today and missed our classes. The restaurant management should seriously evaluate this dish! Make it more grilled or something, it had soggy skin… I’m traumatized I don’t know if I’ll be returning soon.

I was so disappointed by this restaurant for an anniversary dinner. Our reservation was for 6:15. They gave our appetizers at 6:30 and tried to clear them before 6:40 to bring out our main pastas. They came over 3 times between 6:40 and 6:45 to clear our appetizers and actually took my plate while I still had half a slice of pizza in my mouth which the crumbs then went everywhere. I’ve never felt so rudely rushed. The food was tasty but nothing special. I also booked for December as their Instagram made it feel cozy and decorated, which turns out is only in their back room. The front was extremely dark I used my phone light for the menu.

We had dinner at the restaurant last night. Due to Christmas traffic, we arrived late and two of my friends got there earlier. They were placed at a table in the very back, almost like a private dining space, which felt completely isolated and unpleasant. When we arrived, I politely asked the general manager if we could move, as the table did not feel like part of the restaurant at all. He agreed to let us sit at a much nicer table in the middle of the room, but said we would need to move back to the original table for dessert. I told him that if guests arrived and the table was needed, we would of course move. However, the restaurant was empty — and I truly mean empty. In the main dining room, only a few tables were occupied; the rest were completely free. I asked the manager why we couldn’t stay at our table for dessert when there were no guests waiting and plenty of free tables available. He had no explanation and simply insisted that we must leave the table immediately. He told us to either have dessert at the bar — even though I had a 9-year-old child with me — or return to the back corner table. At that point, we cancelled dessert altogether and went to Brown’s Hotel instead. It’s very clear why the restaurant was so empty during peak season. If customers are treated this way, of course they won’t return. It was honestly one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had. The general manager was rude, unhelpful, and completely uninterested in providing good service. We will definitely not be going back.

Unfortunately, our New Year’s Eve experience at this restaurant was well below expectations. The fixed menu was disappointing and did not justify its price. Portions were small, and the overall quality of the food was below average for an Italian restaurant. In addition, I experienced a very unpleasant and unnecessary situation that negatively affected the evening. While waiting to collect our coats from the cloakroom to step outside, I briefly prepared my IQOS device. I was immediately warned by a staff member that smoking indoors was not allowed — which is completely fair. However, I was not attempting to smoke, and I already knew the rule; I was simply waiting to go outside. What was truly disturbing was that after I took my coat and stepped out, the same staff member fully opened the restaurant door and ventilated the entrance area while looking directly at me, creating the impression that the space needed to be aired because of me. This felt unnecessary, rude, and quite upsetting, especially since no smoking had actually taken place. Due to both the poor value of the fixed menu and this unfortunate experience, I do not plan to return and would not recommend the restaurant to others.
