Was lucky to grab a table on a Monday night before the rush. Oysters were enormous, really fresh and tasty. Mussels were tasty but I can’t stop thinking about the cherry salad, it was incredible - so simple and fresh!

A great seafood find. Small and lively, with nice seating outside. Great oyster offering, we went for the Maldon ones, big and tasty. The Bloody Oyster was not a shot or neither a long drink, but packed with flavor. I tried the Lebanese rose but was too dry for me, so continued with a Vinho Verde. After the oysters we had the anchovies with vanilla butter, the sweet balanced the strength of the anchovies. The crudo misto was superb, with very tasty shrimps and a slice of tuna that felt like a piece of cured ham. The grilled sardines were packed with flavor, wrapped in wine leaves. I will definitely come back to taste the rest of the menu.

Today was my first time and I cannot wait to go back. I was apprehensive at first as I’m not a fish fan, but my goodness, the fish I did try was exquisite. So much flavour and colour. It’s treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds, and for me that a real win. The menu today was inspired by Portugal, and we had a real range of foods served with profession and more importantly warmth. My friends and I tried many dishes together and the beloved chef even came to help us cut our burger to help us share it and told us the inspiration behind the dish. This, along with Perfect accompanying wine and other friendly knowledgeable staff it made for the most perfect Lunch date. And to top it all off, it was only a 5 to 10 minute walk from Kings Cross Station. Thank you, everyone at Oyster Bar and Grill. See you soon

CMK is a hidden gem, I'm glad I found it as a traveler. It offers an amazing local experience overall. Food, champagne and staff are just great. Fresh oysters, fish and veggies, best oysters, superb wine selection, the owner was present which says a lot about how he cares about providing a great experience to any guest... all are highlights. The seasonal Galician Spritz was a truly unique and totally unexpected flavor, never tried anything like this before. This would be my top choice in London. I can't wait to come back in my next trip.

Last night, I dined at this restaurant with my partner, and it was an exceptional experience. From the impeccable service to the warm welcome, everything was perfect. The seafood was incredibly fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the best oysters and scallops, which were simply sublime—definitely the best I've had in London. The elegant decor and cozy atmosphere make this restaurant the ideal place for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant and will certainly return soon.

Had their fresh oysters outside during the sunday markets. Oysters were incredibly fresh from Essex and shucked to order.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best in London today. The three of us sat at the bar, the bartenders are approachable and nice, and the service is warm and friendly. We started with great oysters. After that, each dish was amazing, picturesque and with great flair on one side and charming simplicity on the other. Highly recommended.

Superb dining experience at this charming seafood focused restaurant. Every dish we had was fresh and delicious. Decent portion sizes too. It was all faultless, we especially loved the crudo misto, king fish sashimi, and homemade pasta nero. The staff were passionate and friendly and you could tell everyone loved being there. We were already planning our return before we left.

I wish I could rate this place 20 stars, because that’s how incredible it is. Tal and her team are so friendly and warm, and give you a personal experience when you go there. The wine that was recommended was fantastic, and one I never would have selected myself. The menu changes daily, and the flavors of the food were out of this world. I love the concept of eating at the bar. It’s beautifully designed inside and I can’t wait to see their success. Officially our new local <3

Lovely place, went on a Monday to enjoy the £1 and £2 oysters alongside a glass of wine. Plan on going back for other dishes as they look amazing

Delicious, fresh seafood in central London at a relatively reasonable price. What’s not to love!! Strongly suggest the larger format (magnums) of wine when with a group, far better priced and excellent pairings with the shellfish.

Kris and team are real superstars! Had a wonderful time here on a date. Amazing Oysters, round after round of amazing food (both seafood and otherwise!). Definitely ordered too much, but it was worth it for the treat. Highly recommend to anyone in Islington, Angel, and beyond.

A new gem just opened! The menu changes daily. The team was very helpful in recommending and explaining the dishes. Very large selection of wines. The food was excellent, along side great service and the ambiance was just perfect. Had a great evening and will come back very soon!

You have to come here, it's beautiful!! Top class food with exceptional service and a wonderful ambience. Super friendly and attentive staff, stunning dishes to choose from and lovely decor and cute napkins!! The wine list is extensive with something for all tastes too....

Best meal I’ve ever had in London. Every dish was better than the last. Especially loved the veal, aubergine and shrimp. Highly recommend this new spot in Angel!! Maoz has brought his magic again.

What can I say besides “I will be back next week”? Every dish was tastefully presented and mouth watering, it was so good I even forgot to take pictures of everything. We really felt looked after, you can tell they care about making your evening enjoyable

We have found a new local, they were extremely busy when we went as it was their Oyster promotion. The wait was long but worth it, considering they were rushed off their feet, the staff and owner were incredibly warm and friendly and the food was delicious.

Lovely restaurant and wine bar. I went specifically for the grilled sardines and they had some vinho verde which completed the Portuguese feel for me. Beautifully cooked and served fish.

A phenomenal menu, service, wine selection and establishment. It seems the menu changes regularly, but had an opportunity to try anchovies with vanilla butter.......and I would kill to eat that again!

Hands down one of the best places in London for food, wine and atmosphere. The menu changes every night but if you’re lucky to see the aubergine on labneh, order it! Don’t think too much about the wine, just ask the team and you’re guaranteed a great glass that will go perfectly with the food. I’ve been three times already and I’ll definitely come back.

First time here after walking past a while ago. So pleased we went there for a wonderful Saturday night, the service we great, the food covers a range of pricing, so something for everyone. I recommend this place and its cool look and location.

We took a chance at this place as weekend tourists from Sweden, and it did not dissapoint. The oyster serving and the wine selection was super good, and from the other courses we ate only the meat skewer was a bit of a dissapointment, due to the wrong choise of cut from the chef for a course like that so it was unnecessary though when cooked to medium rare. I don't know what cut they used but they should change it to maybe a sirloin or something. The service and wine selection were superb though, and the atmosphere was totally ok but could use a bit of love. And also: - London, stop taking steps to be a little brother to the US and remove the god damned service charge, it just makes ppl irritated. Make sure to charge enough so that you can give the staff a fair wage anyway.

-Food: the portion are relatively fare compared to other tapas / bistro- style restaurants. And the food served quite quick. The oysters are fresh and delicious, but the dessert: crème caramel is not good, it tastes like precooked dessert. -Service: the waitress forgot to ask us to taste the wine before serving, and the waitress mistakenly served our starters to the other table. And... no one introduced and explained menu to us and when the oysters are served, no explanation of which is which:/ -Atmosphere: temperature is good even we sat near the door, considerable spot for dating, catching-up etc. - Price: 3 glasses of white wine, 10 dishes including dessert and oysters, total £289

We visited Chapel Market today during lunchtime, drawn by their popular £1 Oyster Monday deal — and it lived up to the hype. The oysters were fresh and briny, and we ended up ordering five dozen between us. As the restaurant got busier, though, the quality of shucking slipped a little, with bits of shell in several of them. Alongside the oysters, we ordered two grilled scallops, the Devon crab toast, and the potato salad with tuna. The scallops were unfortunately overcooked, and the sauce had an overpowering alcohol taste that masked the seafood. The Devon crab toast, however, was excellent — rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The potato salad was less successful; the tuna had a smoky, gammon-like taste that didn’t quite match what we were expecting. The atmosphere was chill and welcoming, though the lunch rush made it quite busy. We’d definitely recommend booking a table in advance, especially if you’re going for the oyster deal. A solid spot for seafood lovers, especially for fresh oysters — just be ready for a few ups and downs in the kitchen during peak hours.

We visited recently for dinner and were underwhelmed. Efficient friendly service, average food and drinks but let down by tiny portions at astronomical prices. These ‘big price, small portion’ restaurants are far too common in big cities like London, even in less desirable streets like this one. Poor value for money. Not recommended.

Only oyster good. Others food are really really bad: too salty, too heavy, and there are with a very bad smell … Waiting very long time to pay the bill, and the environment is very noisy Literally waste 175£ for worst meal in London
