Eltham Yeti Restaurant

Last night we ordered a mixed grill, haryali chicken and lamo momo. The meal was absolutely stunning. We often order from Indian restaurants and recently we've been quite disappointed with the quality of food however Yak and Yeti have definitely put Nepali food on my radar. If your interested in trying quality food and something different then definitely give this place a try, you won't be disappointed.

We tried Yak & Yeti, Eltham for the first time a few nights back, food was excellent and delivered to our door pippin hot! We tried a selection of foods as myself and my wife love a good curry 😁 …Yak & Yeti didn’t disappoint! We went for Peshwari Naan, Mix Grill, Samosa Chat, Lamo Momo, Hariyali Chicken & Coconut Rice. 😙👌 I can highly recommended this restaurant for Dine In & Takeaway if you’re in the mood for a good curry!

Terrific food and great service. We were the only table to dine in but the food was amazing. Personal recommendations for Nepalese dishes rather than traditional curries. The Tandoori Momo were incredible and also the Momo soup which warmed us up on a cold winter night. All dishes were responsibly priced and portion size was perfect. As our local will definitely be having again!

I went for the dinning yesterday and ordered tandoori chicken momo, keema naan and chicken biryani. The environment was fabulous, cozy and food was authentic home made like which reminds me the food cooked by my mom. Thank you yak and yeti, Eltham.

Have been using Yak and Yeti for years and their food is always amazing. Most recently we ordered from them for a large number, and they went above and beyond in catering for a nut allergy and coeliac disease - they had so many options! The food is fresh and delicious, it never disappoints.

I ordered takeaway from Yak and Yeti as I fancied some simple sumptuous home made food. The food was simply delicious and freshly prepared and the spices were just right. The owner manager even cooked a dish which wasn’t on the menu vegetarian Jol Momo amazing. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a family take away. Lovely authentic Nepali cuisine 👍 Uday

We had a very lovely evening at Yak & Yeti. The food was absolutely delicious, with fantastic recommendations, spice level adjusted to our specific taste. My favourite was the steamed chicken mo-mo. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely lovely food. Fully recommend going with the Nepalese dishes. They are so tasty and fresh and with unique spicy flavour. I would highly recommend the momo. So delicious. Dumplings steamed then cooked in a tandoor. If you like Indian food you’ll love Nepalese food. The spice flavours are quite similar but I find the Nepalese spices add a fresh dimension that is quite unique . Please please try this cuisine

I have been coming here for a few years now and it never fails to impress me. They changing the restaurants to look more fine dinning and it’s looking very impressive right now. The service is very nice and always clear with what food to pick. They can do specialised the order for you which is very nice for my family. We usually get takeaway and eat at home. We usually wait in the restaurant for our food to pick up. 😊

I love coming to this restaurant - the owners (Damodar ji and Mohan ji) are amazing and make it feel like home… food tastes amazing and they will customise to your taste!!!

We had a lovely dinner at Yak & Yeti! The food was delicious – full of flavour. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they were also really nice to our children. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed – we would definitely come back.

I recently visited yak and yeti and it was such a fantastic experienced. The moment I walked in I felt welcomed by the warm, cozy ambiance definitely a place where you can relax and enjoy a great meal. I started with the momos, and they were absolutely delicious perfectly steamed with a nice balance of spices in the filling. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it was clear that they took pride in what they were serving. The owner even came over to talk, which added a nice personal touch to the whole experience. The portions were generous, and I left feeling completely satisfied.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic Nepali food I'm already planning my next visit!

Had a really lovely meal here, flavours were amazing and very tasty. Service was excellent and Ramesh was very friendly and gave us good recommendations. We were the only ones in there as it was a Sunday evening but we had a lovely time. Handy to have a londis over the road to get your wine to take in. Very good value, we will definitely come back.

I ordered a takeaway from Yak and Yeti Eltham, Lamb Byriani, Madras, Bombay potato and naan. I asked for extra chilli’s and it was no problem. The food was fantastic, I couldn’t wait to eat the leftovers the next day. I highly recommend.

Edited: I visited again today and tried their Chicken Sadheko momo (normally they offer steamed momo in this but for me they deep fried it) , these were really good, one of the best I had in england!! I also tried chilli chicken momo (again they normally offer steamed momo in this but on my request they offered deep fried momo) , they were a bit sweet for me, I was told if I need it spicy then I need to request it while ordering. Overall I’d rate Sadheko momo (fried) as 5* and Chilli chicken momo(fried) as 3* I recently visited Yak & Yeti in Eltham and ordered the tandoori chicken momo, kothey momo, and chicken noodles. I specifically asked for fully fried momos, and the person at the counter said that kothey momos were fully fried, so we went ahead and ordered them. However, to our disappointment, they were only pan-fried, not fully fried as we expected. The chicken noodles, however, were the highlight for us—perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and absolutely delicious. The tandoori chicken momo was also tasty and worth trying. Loved the filling, was very flavourful. Overall, the experience was good, but I wish we had known kothey momos weren’t fully fried since that’s what we came for. I’ll definitely return to try their fried chicken momo, which we only found out they have when we were paying the bill!

It's my first time going to this place, because well, I'm a huge fan of Indian food...but you know what? I might just have become one. I'd definitely recommend the Lamb Jalfrezi and Chicken Xacuti. The meat was perfectly slow cooked leaving it soft, and tender. Also, the blend of spices didn't set my mouth of fire, so that was another suprise. (Yes that did happen to me I'm another restaurant, but maybe because I'm always too adventurous when it comes to new food). The atmosphere was calm, relaxing, clean & comfortable. The service was very pleasant and the waiter was very patient given how indecisive I was, and given how much of a slow eater I am! Overall, a great nepalese-indian place to eat. We will be coming again!

I love the food in this local , always We order delivery but We went to the restaurant and the atmosphere very nice and the staff amazing .Good amount and tasty food .

First time trying this for a takeaway and it was a pleasant surprise. Ordered ahead and food was ready to be collected within 20 minutes. All the dishes were tasty with decent portion sizes, all curries had plenty of meat which is a nice changed compared to others in the area. Was more on the expensive side but worth it for the quality, would recommend and I will be trying again soon.

I have ordered from Yak & Yeti before but this time the quantity was less. Even though the food was good, It’s quite expensive compared to any other Indian takeaways.

I'm not even halfway through my meal and need to leave a review! Seriously disappointing- the vegetable dopiaza has a watery sauce with vegetables that may have touched some heat but I'm not sure as they're so crunchy. The one piece of potato was good. The accompaniments well I've had spicy onions but never just a side of diced onions. The raita is plentiful though so making a yoghurt sauce with my curry. Naan is tiny. Too expensive for what was delivered.

Ordered for takeaway, the majority of food was really good (momo especially, strongly recommend, no complaints). However, the kathi roll was dreadful. I don't know why it was made using tortilla, the paneer had a weird taste, there wasn't much paneer, and the whole roll was freezing cold (all the other food was hot). Put a downer on the entire rest of the meal. Why is the kathi roll not made hot, with fried paneer, in a paratha? Surely it's not even a kathi roll if it's not in a paratha?

Orderer food through deliveroo (which they deliver themselves ). Very poor service. Nearly 2h late. Upon calling, there was no apology. They simply said its on its way. When received, the delivery man was extremely rude. Poor customer service. Food tasted horrible. Felt like the dough was still uncooked and no flavour.

Ordered via deliveroo (twice). Not sure why it didn’t show the previous rating on the account, otherwise wouldn’t have ordered again! Completely spoiled out evening!!! Momo - who stuffs potatoes in momos? If you do this crime, you should specify in description! Karahi paneer - why is the paneer so sour? The gravy wasn't a Karahi paneer gravy. Karahi paneer gravy isn't so much liquid! Dal Tarka - no taste of lentil, just garlic! Chapati - I thought it was tandoori roti before I saw tandoori roti! Again, why was it sour? Refined wheat flour was mixed with whole wheat flour. Tandoori Roti- this too was sour to taste, not properly cooked, was doughy in some parts. Was made of only refined wheat flour. Both chapati and tandoori roti said it's made of whole wheat flour in the description in deliveroo: WARNING⚠️ IT IS NOT! Order from here if you have nothing to do and want to spend time in A&E‼️
