This is the best restaurant in the world! I have travelled 3 hours for a meal here today as I have done many times before and I will continue to do so. The meat is flavourful succulent and perfectly cooked, it doesn’t stop coming as is common with these restaurants in the hope you get full I strongly recommend the chicken hearts they are the best I’ve ever tasted. The staff are kind and attentive. I need to start finding more things to do in London to pass the time so I can visit more frequently. I implore anyone reading this to head to this restaurant it truly is perfect!!
Was an amazing experience. Get ready to try all this different kind of meat. The hot section and salad section is well presented. I will definitely come back😊
Excellent variety at the buffet and authentic Brazilian barbecue. Our waitress Fabrício was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and provided prompt service.
Amazing experience! The food was delicious and the service was 5 stars. Special thanks to Felipe, for accomodating our needs with the manager, and also to Yasmin for being so nice and friendly. Will definitely come back on my next trip. Abraços da Bahia!
Came here recently with a group of fourteen friends. Good quality meat and a well varied selection of side dishes. The servers of the meat were pretty regular and there was a good selection of different cuts. Overall customer service was good and the place was clean.
We had a great experience here! The meat was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the buffet had a nice variety of fresh salads and sides. We also had caipirinhas, which were lovely and made us feel the full Brazilian vibe. The service was a bit slow when it came to bringing the drinks — I had to ask a few times — but the place was busy, so it was understandable. Maicon and the girls in the dining area were very attentive and kind throughout the evening. At the end, the manager (I believe the young lady) was incredibly sweet and surprised us by having everyone sing “Happy Birthday” to my mom. It was such a lovely touch and made the night very special! We will come back 🌟
I love a good Brazilian BBQ restaurant and this is one of them. The hot buffet here is more extensive than Fogo in Canada and America and it was nice to have more options and bottomlessBraziliancheese bread. The meats here were well cooked, perfectly seasoned and the service was excellent. The drinks are also absolutely delicious, getting a pitcher and ending the night with some grilled pineapple is the only way to go.
Best steak/grill we’ve had in London! Massive selection of buffet hot foods and salad etc which we didn’t get to have a lot of because the meat just kept coming and were absolutely irresistible! Loved the cheese bread with guava, drinks were great as well, amazing staff and atmosphere! Highly recommended for any type of celebration/date or even if you just want to treat yourself!
A great experience at Fogo De Chão for my partner’s birthday dinner. The food was great, really impressed with the range of meats and the constant delivery to the table by the staff. The service was brilliant, especially by Cleber Ramos who was not just a good laugh but ensured to go above & beyond to make sure we had enough food, remembered what we liked and how we wanted it which etc. Genuinely felt like they wanted to give us the best experience, which we really appreciated.
Great Churrascaria. The Rodizio is great with very good meat and a fresh buffet. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere.
The food is amazing and the staff were really nice! They were very quick to serve us lots of different meats, and everything was so tasty. There are so many options it’s unlimited meat, plus plenty of sides like veggies and chips if you need a break from the meat. We chose the £46 option, and just a heads up, there’s a 12% service charge added but honestly, it’s worth it! Definitely a must-visit when you’re in Chinatown
The staff here were lovely, super friendly and nice to chat to. The food was lovely too! I recommend the baked pineapple with cinnamon. Overall it was a great experience and I'm already planning my next visit!
🥩 A Taste of Brazil in the Heart of London 🇧🇷✨ @fogodechaouk Last night’s dinner at Fogo de Chão London was an absolute experience. From the moment we walked in, it felt like a celebration — warm smiles, sizzling skewers, and that unmistakable aroma of perfectly grilled meat filling the air. The picanha was out of this world — tender, juicy, and carved right at the table 🔥 Every bite told a story of Brazilian passion for flavour. The buffet? A festival of colours and textures — fresh salads, feijoada, cassava… pure joy on a plate. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely proud of what they served. We left happy, full, and already planning the next visit. If you’re in Soho, do yourself a favour and go. It’s more than dinner — it’s a whole vibe. 💃 📍 Fogo de Chão, Wardour Street – London 🇧🇷 Authentic Brazilian Steakhouse Experience 💰 Worth every bite
I have never eaten so much food in any restaurant in London and loved it. Amazing grilled meat with the choice of selection from an open buffet. And the range of flavors of the exotic food clashes in your mouth and this gives your very unique experience of food. I am lovin' it)))). Btw, the staff is very friendly. I will be back, for sure.
We weren’t sure what to expect. We chose the Premier Meats option. You turn your mat green or red to stop or keep the meats coming. Really tasty, great meat and the salad bar of meats and salads was very good too. The service was friendly, helpful and attentive. If I went again I’d equally be happy with the basic option or the middle option. Really tasty and so much!
For me, one of the best Brazilian restaurants in London, the food and service are excellent. Thank you :)
Left With Regret I know it sounds crazy. Walking passed the China Town but not having dumplings or handmade noodles or Cantonese barbecue. All because it was so crowded on the day we were here. Driven by the friendly and bubbly staff at the front door, we decided to give it a go. There's no disappointment from food to the service. Good quality of meat. The meat was well seasoned, so juicy and tender that you no need to have any dip or gravy. Highly recommend the pickles and salad of the salad bar, its acidity helped a lot for a meat feast like that. Everything, from food and service and environment was excellent. Nothing to fault about. There was so much I wanted to try. Unfortunately there was so much variety available therefore I failed to try all. Eyes are always bigger than your stomach. So at the end I left with regret. I reckon other customers had the same feelings as me when they left too......
Amazing food, perfect service and very friendly staff. Highly recommended
Excellent Brazilian BBQ. With the premium rodizo option you get to choose from lots of cuts. I highly recommend the peppered steak and the premium picanha. It also includes some amazing sweets. We especially enjoyed the cinnamon pineapple. In terms of prices, it is a bit on the expensive side 60-80 pp, but it is totally worth it.
The food was very good. Maria Alves did a fantastic job as our waitress. And the enviroment was very comforting.
This was the most Spectacular dinner here I've ever had... I enjoyed all the meats that was served, the chips, the garlic bread, all the blinking lot... It was really good to come here as people were really nice and friendly, especially that lovely bloke who greeted us at the door. Thank you for all of your hard work and a massive thank you for making my birthday feel better than ever. Be Happy! ☺️
Love this place! Amazing authentic food! The host Rui was really nice and understanding as we were running a bit late to our booking, our server Maria was great too, wish you guys the best x ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Dined for lunch with a group of 6 friends. I was worried that it would be a tourist trap were we would be rushed to vacate the table. How wrong I was. Staff were all smiling and very friendly. We felt welcomed and were very well looked after. The buffet bar was very well stocked with varied and fresh produce. The highlight of course is the meat carved at the table. Really exceptional quality and taste. The restaraunt is very well presented and clean. There is a really great buzz to the atmosphere. A great experience and very good value. Thanks !
We went in the evening on a weekend. There were quite a few people but there were still some empty tables. We settled for the buffet and not the full package. The assortment of salads, charcuterie and hot dishes was quite good. We were not able to taste everything. Service was good. We also had a bottle of wine among the 2 of us. The bill came to Gbp 83, which, considering the central location was quite reasonable. A good experience overall!
I was curious about this all you can eat restaurant. Last time I went to a Brazilian restaurant of this kind with a lot of different meat cuts it was about 12 years ago. We’re informed that everybody on the same table needed to choose the same option of menu. There was 3 options and we all went to the top one with more meat options, they told us that there were 12 cuts of meat included, but to be honest I quickly forgot how many different meats we had. There’s a buffet with a lot of salads and hot dishes. The food was really good and tasty but the speed that the meats arrived at the table it makes us eat too much too fast, I didn’t even remembered to take photos of the grilled meats. I ate so much that I ended up in strong pain in my stomach, when you paying £39.95 per person just for the food then you’ll eat until you can’t take it anymore. I’ve regretted choosing the option of the grilled meats because the options on the buffet were quite good and they cost a fraction of the price. I only advise you to choose the grilled meats options if you’re a person that eats a lot, otherwise does not compensate. If you go on weekends be prepared to pay even more as the grilled meats option it costs about £49 per person. The cocktails are very expensive, about £13 each, also on top of it if you go for desserts you’ll pay £5.95 each, we had a very nice but also very tiny crème caramel. We ended up having a bill of over £400 with only 2 desserts and no coffees. I won’t probably be repeating this experience as I think eating like I ate today it’s nonsense and paying what I’ve paid today it’s too much. The £90 discount it was the deposit we’ve paid when we made the booking.
This was my first taste of Brazilian cuisine at it really was a wonderful introduction. I had never experienced the theatre of having meats sliced directly onto our plates fresh off the grill. It was such a unique and fun addition to the evening. Although the meat was arguably the main event, the hot side plates and salad bar were really something special. There was such a vast array of options available and I managed to try almost everything (after three full plates!)… I was stuffed but every bite was so worth it. The meat slightly disappointed. I felt some cuts I received were a little over cooked or just not quite to me preference. I understand the intention to offer different levels of cooking to suit each customer but it would have been more successful had the servers asked what our cooking preferences were and sliced accordingly. I do however have no complaints about the quality and freshness of all the meats. Special mention to the lamb, it was just beautiful. Overall our whole group were highly satisfied with our meals. The service was quick and all the staff were so attentive and friendly.
The atmosphere is lively without being too much, the service is friendly and on point, and the gauchos bring out a great variety of well cooked, flavourful meats, with the picanha being a standout. The only downside was that the short ribs didn’t come out until right at the end when we were already full, which was a bit disappointing as we’d been looking forward to them.
I visited this restaurant about a year ago and just realized today that I never reviewed it. Someone asked me where to eat Brazilian steak in London, and this place came to mind. The food was good, featuring an all-you-can-eat buffet, with an additional charge for the grilled meat. They provided a two-sided card: green for wanting more meat and red to pause the offerings. The price point was reasonable, though some meats weren't as spicy as I would have liked. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend a visit.
We had a reservation but initially struggled to get in, as a number of walk-ins were also trying to secure tables. Once inside, it was clear just how busy the restaurant was, and we were shown to a table at the back, tucked into a fairly cramped corner. After a wait, we were able to order drinks and the food service soon followed. The meat itself was excellent and the table service for food was quick and efficient. However, drink service was noticeably slow, which seemed to be a result of how busy the venue was. While the salad bar was perfectly fine, it wasn’t as varied as we’d expected, particularly given the price point and our experiences at similar restaurants in Chester and Birmingham. Our main disappointment was that we didn’t receive any lamb, despite having paid for the premium option which was meant to include it. The bill included a 12.5% service charge also which feels presumptious!
Food was excellent, such a variety of everything! We went for the all in menu option and it was more than we could manage! Freshly cooked meat served at table, a buffet full of everything, lasagna, salads, meat casserole! The downside of this place was the noise, was really crowded when we went and the speed of the service, which was a bit stressful experience. I would recommend this place but try to visit on a quiet day.
Let's break it down! If you seen any of my previous ratings I go for the whole experience so let's break it down: Customer Service: I am gonna give it a good rating of 8.5/10, for 2 specific reasons one they were flexible with the lunch buffe time with us, and secondly they were very attentive regardless of the time and how busy the restaurant, so this was a top class experience. Food: I wasn't expecting too much as I been to many of this type of restaurants, but to my surprise the selection although not vast it was great, and on top of all it was very fresh, apart from that, they were flexible on offering either very well done or medium rare at no extra costs! So going above and beyond cos they get what service is all about! That's class .... So a good 9/10. Ambience: Here I am going to say it was okay, but I think it was due to where we were sitting! It was busy and crowded, but I saw different areas that were more secluded so I think, as we came in without booking, and the sat is down, that as a whole is very good! So cannot complaint too much of the ambience so a good 7.5/10 Overall: Would I recommend it yes! Would I go back, Yes! The place was good, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. So yes take your chance on this place, I can guarantee you will not regret it!
Review from a Brazilian! Wide selection of meats and salads plus sides. My boyfriend loved the farofa. It was his first time trying feijoada as well! The cupim (beef neck) was very delicious! We also kept coming back to the pineapple with cinnamon and sugar several times! The plaintain was also so good and between that and the pineapple, we didn’t need dessert. We did ask to see the dessert selection at the end, but it didn’t look very appetising. It looked like it had been sitting there for ages. It was quite small and it all look quite dry to be honest. I wanted my boyfriend to try pudim, but when I saw how it looked I didn’t want that to be his first impression. The atmosphere is not that great to be honest, It’s quite dull. It’s placed in the middle of Chinatown which doesn’t really match the kind of semi luxury experience that I think they’re trying to push. The restaurant is dark, and quite stuffy. We went for the premium Rodizio, which was £55 per person for unlimited meats and unlimited sides + salads. However, I don’t really get why they are pricing it so high when the experience is not really that premium or luxury at all it’s just a standard dark restaurant in Chinatown. We had a bottle of wine and a bottle of sparkling water + the rodizio, And our bill came up to 170 pounds for two people, which is very steep for what you get!! Honest opinion.
After visiting a Fogo de Chao in the US last summer I had high expectations when I came in with my son. I’m sitting here now, underwhelmed by the quality of service and the salad bar. While the meats are great, the salad bar is full of old, stale food left over from yesterday and the servicing staff reminds me of the weather, grey and gloomy. I won’t be returning here, despite the meats.
Overall disappointing for the price. The service was good, and the staff all very polite, well mannered and accomodating. We went for the full rodizio and found that they weren't the fastest to bring the meat around. We waited around 10 mins for the first, but then was about 8-10mins each time before the next meat came which makes it very difficult to try them all and I suppose is to encourage you to fill up on the buffet options instead. The menu does say meat is "subject to availability" and we weren't offered the chicken, lamb, or pork in the hour or so we were there. However, it did at least taste good. The soft drinks were also very pricey - £6.25 for a large water and £4.45 for a can of coke...
For those who like to eat with their eyes. The meat looks impressive as it is brought around to you, but is tough and lacking in flavour. There is also not much diversity in cuts. Everything at the salad bar is delicious, but that comes included in the basic price. The premium option at £50+ per person is absolutely not worth the money for the quality of food. The staff try their best and are always helpful but seem stressed and rushed. The restaurant was nice to try once but I doubt I will return.
We recently visited Fogo de Chão Soho and came away feeling quite mixed about the experience. The food itself was nice – the meat was well cooked and flavourful, and there’s definitely quality there. However, it is very, very overpriced, even taking into account that it’s Soho. For what you pay, you expect the overall experience to match, and unfortunately it didn’t. Most of the waiting staff were friendly and polite, but a few didn’t speak at all and simply pushed the meat towards you without so much as a word. It felt rushed and impersonal at times. The layout is also a problem. The restaurant feels far too tight for the amount of people and staff moving around. The buffet area is quite small, and with waiters constantly rushing past, it feels chaotic rather than relaxed. Our table was right next to the sauces and oils station, which meant we had people standing extremely close – practically with their backsides in our faces – every time we tried to eat. Not exactly the dining atmosphere you’d hope for at that price point. Sadly, it was nothing like the experience at Fogo de Chão São Paulo, which sets a much higher standard. To top it off, when we asked for the bill, they immediately arrived with the card machine, not giving us the chance to properly review it, and added a very large service charge for the privilege. Overall, decent food but poor value for money and an uncomfortable setting. We won’t be rushing back anytime soon.
Great concept with big potential, but there are many things which could improve. Most of the steaks were served medium to medium rare, some of them (like fillet mignon, rib eye, lamb) were unfortunately overcooked. We found a bit disturbing that the waitress just after 50-70 minutes of the visit asked us twice (one of these times we had still green card on the table and the other time we were just having a break) whether we are finished. Also, I booked the table half an year in advance (and received confirmation email) and my reservation was not in the system, which felt a bit chaotic. Last but not least, the staff did not even bother to ask us whether we were happy with our visit and automatically charged us 12,5% service charge, which did not leave the best impression.
Pretty disappointing experience. We ordered the prime package with filet mignon and lamb. Lamb never came after asking 4 times and being there for over two hours. Filet mignon was roasted on a plan he and had a tiny bite sized piece. Service is not attentive at all a d the management doesn’t really care. After complaining to the manger they decided to reduce the selling price to the normal package. Desserts that were included in the prime package are also below quality.
So great food, watch the con. So seated and asked fir buffet, then waiters come to.table offering meat. Now, description on menu for buffet says *includes various meat". Very vague. We accept some meat and then continue to enjoy the meal. It comes to the bill. Instead of 21.95 per person we are charged 47 per person without explanation. The waitress had forgotten to mention that we had buffet and the meat that was offered was to enhance the bill by more than double. Very deceitful, feels like a con and the manager did way too.little to rectify it. Overall, could have been great but fir deceitful intentional con by the staff and management. It seems if you are not Brazilian or Portuguese you get targeted. Unfortunately I am.a native Londoner not a Brazilian and was conned. Would have gone back and recommended to.others but sadly not now. BEWARE.
I think this location is just a tourist trap. You have been warned. Regardless I was extremely disappointed in the service. We go all of the time to “fogo de chao” in New York and D.C…. NEVER had a bad experience. I must say the food was subpar. Really disappointed with this venue. Maybe we went at an off hour, but as an establishment service should always be tip top… especially the way you are supposed to get a rotation of meats delivered to you every so often its not worth going when you wont get the same treatment every time. I understand there are different meats at different hours, but when the server comes past with one cut in the entire two hours you are there and you pay for the full experience that is just a scam. We went around 4pm on a weekday. I dont see how that could’ve been an issue close enough to supper time.
Touristic place, the meat quality not excellent, overall the meat that was served was not properly cured, and the nerves and ligaments had not been removed. As a result, it was difficult to cut and hard to chew. A better quality cut, such as sirloin, could have been used. I was expecting soft, tender, melt-in-the-mouth meat. One portion served was good; however, overall the meat quality was low.
Good experience to have unlimited food and meat, the Brazilian way, BUT the quality of the meat does certainly not represent the Brazilian meat - I have been to the Sao Paulo Fogo do Chao and the food there was levels up! Also, the same (lower quality) meats kept on coming around for houuuurs until one expensive meat would quickly come out for a minute and then never appear again. Also, our premium package (GBP 55) included unlimited desserts. Who would ever thought that "desserts" are cheese with jam and grilled pineapple? The proper desserts have to be bought extra (around GBP 8 each). Not to mention that in the end (together with one beer and one coca cola) we ended up paying GBP 75 each (nothing close to the GBP 55 marketed). The service was also very average. All men with the meat were grumpy and would never really engage with or smile to us. We ordered 3 coca colas and they didn't come for 45 minutes, so we had to order them again. Not the best experience for such a high pay.
Really not great . Premier costs £55 each and is mean to be fillet steak etc … but we saw one price and it was flaccid and chewy … the salad bar was good . The deserts were meant to be from the grill but they just kept brining semi raw pineapple with cinnamon powder on it . There were some donut things but not enough for our table of 8 , and then some halumi with a sweet sauce . One slice . Definitely not with the money at all Got for the cheapest option and just eat from the salad bar .
My wife and I opted for the buffet, but unfortunately, the quality of the dishes left much to be desired. The meat was greasy and oversalted, and most of the food was barely warm. Service: A significant downside was the lack of engagement with the guests. None of the staff checked in on us or asked how the meal was, which made it impossible to provide feedback on the spot.
Very disappointing experience. The food was extremely salty, almost inedible at times. The service was chaotic and the waiters kept bringing different meats without explaining what they were. The place felt completely disorganized. The door was broken and made a very loud noise every time it closed, which was quite disturbing. In the buffet area, some people were taking food with their hands, which was clearly not hygienic. Overall, the atmosphere was stressful and far from what you would expect from a proper dining experience.
I visited Fogo de Chão today and, unfortunately, found the experience rather disappointing. The entrance area was untidy, with glasses left around and an overall sense of disorganisation. Although I didn’t have a booking and was happy to wait, the service felt quite chaotic. I even had to return to the bar to ask for a Coca-Cola, only to be told by the barman that I needed to order it through the person who was supposedly “serving” me. The host did not explain how the menu or pricing worked, and I later discovered that the £16.90 “all you can eat” option doesn’t actually include any meats. If I wanted to eat meat, the cost could rise to around £29, and for the full experience, it could reach nearly £50. Given the lack of clarity and the general disarray, I decided to leave. It’s a shame, as Fogo de Chão has a great reputation and the food itself looked promising. I hope management takes this feedback on board to improve communication and organisation, as this could be an excellent dining experience with a bit more attention to detail.
From the moment we entered, the service was unprofessional. A staff member greeted us with an inappropriate comment directed at my partner about “breaking the door.” It was not a joke and immediately created an uncomfortable atmosphere. Despite calling earlier in the day to confirm if a reservation was necessary, we were told on arrival that there was an issue with our booking. This shows a clear lack of internal communication. As vegetarians, we asked if we could enjoy the buffet and pay extra for additional items such as garlic bread, pão de queijo, and grilled pineapple. Without any effort to accommodate, our request was dismissed outright. This is unacceptable, especially when other Brazilian steakhouses in London (such as Preto, Touro, and Brasa in Kensal Green) are consistently accommodating and deliver excellent customer service. The buffet itself was average and offered very limited vegetarian options beyond basic salad items. When we raised our disappointment with the waiter, we were essentially told we should go to other restaurants that might “have more food.” That response was insulting and dismissive. I ultimately requested the service charge to be removed because the service was simply not up to standard. For a restaurant of this scale, in central London, this is unacceptable. Overall: • Poor communication and organisation • Staff attitude was passive-aggressive and unhelpful • Vegetarian customers are not valued or supported • Food was average, far below competitors in the city This was our first visit and it will certainly be our last. Zero out of ten for service. Strongly recommend choosing other Brazilian restaurants in London that treat customers with respect and deliver value for money.
Service staff was OK specifically the guys serving the meat. Prime location which resulted in crowds and good business without trying and being good on the food. Had the premium option and the meats was disappointing. Pichana was dry and many cuts was tough. Cheese breads were like rocks.. Highlight.. Bacon wrap fillet, lamb and the best was the roasted pineapples.. Maybe by then I was looking for something to be positive about. I have been to several outlets across the globe. Sad to say this is not close to what I was expecting and paying. But the cheerful and helpful servers made it better. Go for the atmosphere of the area but that's it
Traveled a long way for a reservation for a birthday dinner at 4.45 to turn up and be told that the restaurant would be closing at 5.45 and we would only have an hour to eat. We were not made aware of this prior to arriving and we were not happy to spend £50 plus each to be thrown out after an hour. We had heard good things about this restaurant but definitely will not try again. There was no discount or free drinks offered for the inconvenience, truly ruined what was supposed to be a birthday celebration.
Made a booking for New Year’s Eve. Food was great but service was excruciatingly bad. We were rushed throughout, at 10pm they were basically took our plates off the table so they could enjoy their new year party. We bought a very expensive bottle of wine and were told we could leave with it but when we got to the door was told we couldn’t leave with it, we couldn’t finish it there and that we wouldn’t get a refund either. This passed to an argument where the manager tried to take the bottle out of my partner’s hand. After that we left and the owner ask one of his staff members to follow us out. Will never go back
