Paul, David and Carolina, They were great waiters, super kind and attentive. I loved my experience at this restaurant. The food was impeccable, everything was delicious.

So good — definitely recommend! We had Nia, and she took care of us from the moment we walked in until the very end. Everyone was incredibly polite and greeted us with big smiles. Nia was extremely helpful, super attentive and knew the menu inside and out, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. The food was great too! Specially the ceviche that was super fresh!! Diogo, the floor manager, also checked in on us throughout our visit. He was very kind and attentive. Overall, we always have a fantastic experience every time we come here. Highly recommend!

Amazing atmosphere and delicious food. The Argentinian sirloin was on point and the pistachio lava cake was the perfect way to end our dinner. David and Renol took very good care of us and made sure we had a good time and Paul's drinks were fantastic.

Went for the pre-theatre menu, fantastic value for money. Everything of excellent quality, great cocktails and a lovely venue too. Massive shoutout to Caitlin who was serving us as well! She had an entire section of numerous tables that she was serving alone, yet was super attentive and friendly with us without being intrusive, while also being really quick with bringing over drinks/food and clearing our plates. Zero complaints!

The ten of us came to this restaurant to enjoy their half price steak offer on Monday. We arrived at close to 9:30pm and we were told the kitchen would be closed at 10pm. Rushed in without thinking much, ordered a few steak dishes to share and two bottles of red. The steaks came within 15 minutes and they all tasted reasonably well. Just remember, Monday is the day.

Wonderful dining experience made all the better by our waiter, Paul. Attentive and knowledgeable, down to earth and friendly. He made our part of three feel like we were the only customers, we weren't as it was very busy. Get a table overlooking the casino, it is great fun. Even better is we booked through an early dining app and saved 50% on the food bill.

Seriously, this is the best steak spot. It's always a great time, the food is incredible, and the feeling of the place is just right. You know you're going to get amazing service every time—it's just so reliable. Huge thanks to Diogo and Carmine for always looking after us so well. Can't wait to be back!

Had a really lovely dinner here, atmosphere was great. Music was enough so that me and my friend could chat comforfably. Our server (forgot to ask for his name!!) was so so kind and attentive. He even moved us to one of the bigger tables to accomodate the dishes we had ordered. Another plus was this table had a great view of the casino area. Great service and would love to come back again :)

A group of 7 attended this gorgeous venue for a pre-show dinner in celebration of a 21st birthday. Not only did we receive exquisite food, the service was outstanding. The team could not do enough to ensure we had a memorable evening both pre and post show. Out family cannot thank you enough for our experience. We look forward to returning soon xx

Our server, Carmine, was impressive — he went the full nine yards with recommendations and presentation each step of the way. We loved his recommendations and couldn’t be happier with our dinner. Had a great anniversary meal with my wife here. Both the food and service were excellent. We got the USDA Prime board and the Heliot Burger to split; all the preparations showed off the quality of the meat beautifully. As a note to wheelchair using guests, the restaurant is located through a bit of a labyrinth through the casino, and requires locating and taking a few lifts up to the correct floor, as well as a rail stair lift up a few steps at the end. The toilets are also on a separate floor to the restaurant itself. On that note I'd like to give a special commendation to Kevin, who met us at the door and guided us through the casino to the restaurant, as well as coming back to get us at the end of our meal without being asked. Give that man a raise!

We were impressed by how tasty the steak was. It probably is as good as Hawksmoor without the sticky toffee pudding. We ordered a sharing 400gm steak which came on an iron stone base and I could hv it as rare and my friend could it as well done as he wanted. It was perfect evening. Sides with mushrooms, peppercorn sauce was very good and creamy. Environment is a bit casino ish if that’s suits your taste of ambience. If recommed this place if you’re a Hawksmoor fan too.

Great steak and sides, but watch out for the chimichurri as it does pack a kick if you're not ready. Enjoyed a nice bottle of red alongside my meal. Service is pleasant and the staff are very attentive. Would deffo recommend.

I had dinner at Heliot Steakhouse inside The Hippodrome with a group of friends to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. We were served by Luis. He provided an exceptional service and was extremely polite and friendly, just a really wholesome and genuine guy. He made our experience really special. The steak was great and the atmosphere was good. I would like to praise Luis for his hard work, going over and beyond to make our stay more memorable. Overall it’s was a lovely experience.

We’ve had a private dinner in one of the PDR. The room is big enough for 12x max I’d say. Good food, nice atmosphere! I must say, to exit the building though, is a challenge..

Wow! Came here for dinner before celebrating the new year countdown at the casino downstairs and had a great time! Had a bunch of fun drinks, including a really tasty non - alcoholic one with some really great steaks! It was definitely a treat but I was impressed by how fair the prices are. Everything was great but my favourite thing I had was probably the Baileys Coffee - such a great way to top off an amazing meal. Really good value and very friendly staff too!

recently visited heliot with 0 expectations and was thoroughly impressed. I tried a few different dishes, each one more delicious than the last—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented.The octopus scallops even the burger was top notch. What made the experience even better was the outstanding service. Our waiter Carolina was incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making great recommendations that truly enhanced the meal. It was an all-around fantastic dining experience that I’d definitely recommend!"

Amazing steak restaurant inside the casino, with a variety of cuts and steaks from different regions. The Argentinian Rib Eye was cooked perfectly and was juicy and tender. The sides were okay but not as good as the steak. Service was quick and friendly, and the steaks are a solid size for the price and quality, especially at such a location.

Great steak dinner, the big tasting platter had 3 delicious steaks, 3 great accompanying sauces, steaks were cooked as requested.mash was yummie, chips hot and crunchy. Service by Paul was great. Professional, swift, un-intrusive, with a warm personality. Bravo. Lovely and lively atmosphere, good bar service, and comfy seats. We'll be back!

I had a fantastic experience last week at Heliot Steak House – the food was absolutely wonderful and the service was impeccable, especially thanks to Carolina, Paul, and David. If I can recommend anything, it's that you should definitely visit this restaurant – every pound spent is well worth it!

It is a great meat restaurant with a very cool mood. The tables have a direct view of the casino floor. The food is very well prepared and the staff is very friendly and knowing of the menu and they speak several languages. They have some specials that aren't in the menu, so ask for them if your waiter doesn't mention them. You can take the drinks from the bar to the table.

We had a lovely experience with the food and atmosphere. Welcomed and served by lovely and bubbly Carolina. The complementary red velvet cake was the best one I have had.

The starters were quite good, with highlights being the marinated Grilled Octopus, Beef Meatballs, and Sea Bass Ceviche. For mains, definitely get the Grilled Lobster or the Steak Tasting Board with the Argentinian Rib Eye, Hereford Fillet, and the Australian Sirloin if you have a big party. It’s perfect with a Roast Bone Marrow topping. They also have a wide selection of desserts, but I particularly liked the cheesecake!

I was there yesterday for a group dinner and the food was amazing, one of the best places I've ever eaten. The staff is wonderful. David was very attentive and very interested if i was having a good experience. I will definitely come back.

It was my birthday and I had the special. The Argentinian sirloin was cooked to my perfection. Juicy, tender and succulent. The meatballs on a marrow bone was as tasty. The staff was very polite and we'll trained. The Italian wine was good. Overall I had a wonderful experience.

Absolutely phenomenal dinner at Heliot. Diogo was the definition of professionalism, efficiency, and competence. His recommendations for the meat tasting board, wine, sides, and dessert were spot on. The meat was cooked perfectly medium-rare—exceptionally tender, aromatic, and full of flavor. The sauces complemented it beautifully. Outstanding service and a fantastic team. Highly recommended!

I really liked the atmosphere at The Heliot Steak House, and overall it was a good experience. However, the three mini burgers were a bit disappointing as the patties were dry and lacked flavor. The octopus dish on top of the fava beans was quite tangy, and the steak had a fair amount of fat and sinew that needed trimming. Sweet potatoes fries were really good. While the food itself wasn’t particularly impressive, the staff were very friendly, which made the overall experience pleasant.

We were looked after from the moment we arrived until the end of the evening. The service stood out, especially when a kitchen issue set off the fire alarm. Staff explained the situation clearly and managed the delay well, which showed real professionalism. The food was excellent. I started with the seafood platter followed by surf and turf, while my friends ordered dishes like the T-bone steak. Each plate was prepared to a high standard and full of flavour. Presentation leaned toward the theatrical, with dry ice effects creating a dramatic scene. It felt unnecessary, but it did add to the atmosphere. The setting inside the casino brings a unique backdrop, with views over the roulette and craps tables. It makes the meal feel like part of a larger night out. For dessert, we shared a pistachio lava cake that was a highlight of the evening. This is a restaurant that delivers on service, food, and entertainment. It is worth a visit if you enjoy quality dishes served in a lively environment.

I had a lovely time with friends for one of our birthdays. The food was delicious and loved the ice cream (on ice). At points some of the service was a bit hit and miss with items taking much longer than they should have. This was possibly an issue with the kitchen. The music was all boom boom and so repetitive. Please please consider some jazz or big band or something more fitting to what is a wonderful venue. Carolina deserves huge praise and she was excellent. I think she looked after us a little while into our experience and things got much much better. Carolina was attentive, polite, informative and funny. She definitely deserves a pay rise and employee of the month and she lifted the evening for all of us. Thank you Carolina!

Overall, Heliot provided a solid steak experience. The quality of the steaks was good, but nothing set them apart from other steakhouses. The atmosphere was enjoyable, with a view overlooking the casino. There are a few areas for improvement. The Tomahawk, being a large cut, cooled quickly as it was served on a chopping board, visually appealing but impractical for temperature retention. The T-bone would have been easier to share if it had been pre-cut. Additionally, the steak knives lacked proper serrated edges, making it difficult to cut the fillet, especially when cooked medium-rare. The Heliot special sauce was fabulous!

For a steak house found in a casino, it’s good. The whisky sourz is normal, I have had much better, it is difficult to really decipher the taste of the whisky, even if it is a cocktail the balance should be perfect. This was diluted, the only plus is the gigantic ice block, which made it more visually stylistic than anything . Food, the cake was exemplary, perfect addition to the day. Spatchcock nice, but again missed that true flavourful edge. Starter of pecan salad, was disappointing, it was more of a shredded head of lettuce with a minor amount of apple or pecan. The service was wonderful, well done to the staff.

Amazing service, friendly and very helpful all evening! A special thank you to Nia on our first evening in London, and the reason why we came back! Visited twice for the weekend, and the highlight was definitely Nia’s service and the amazing drinks that Prabin made on our last night here :)

The tuna tartare and the 40 day dry aged T-bone were excellent. Everything is overpriced - as expected in a casino. What is didn’t expect was to be hustled and upsold on my steak. “Special today is dry aged steak. (Good description…) the price is between the USDA and Wagyu, probably around 60 pounds” Not that I was bargain shopping or looking like a bargain shopper, nothing wrong with that. Ok let’s have the T-Bone 2 minutes later… “It’s a last T-bone and it’s a bit bigger, 100 pounds” I should’ve switched and said no. Just not used to being hustled at a high end steak house… It was the size of 2 steaks, no chance 1 person could’ve eaten it in 2 sittings. So no Carmine, I do not have room for dessert. Not will I be ordering another 20 pound glass of wine, at least not here. As a former restaurant owner here is a tip: Don’t make your customers leave feeling like they got hustled. Cheers! Post script- and then he quickly tapped 12.5% gratuity as I tapped out. Awful. A hustler.

We were highly disappointed with our recent experience (19/01), especially after a previous brilliant experience. The waitress Caitlin was seemingly new, and you could tell. We were only a party of 2, but it seemed a struggle. Glasses were provided for our drinks which were dirty. One starter came out and the second was over 5 minutes behind. This meant that the first was going cold whilst awaiting the second. With the steaks, they came out, and the chips "were on the way". Nearly 10 minutes we were waiting for these. I can understand a delay if it was a large party, but not for 2 people. We didn't have a check back throughout our meal and just had plates taken away. We were going to have a 3 course meal, but as it had taken near enough 2 hours for 2 courses, we weren't prepared to stay probably another hour for another course. We asked for the bill. Caitlin then proceeded to give menus to another table (fair enough), take orders, clear plates from tables and then clean another table. She then served drinks for another table before getting our bill. I'd understand if the restaurant was full and tables needed clearing, but it was over half empty. 15 minutes after, we finally received our bill. I understand the 12.5% service charge added to all tables is discretionary, but I don't really want to ask for it to be removed and then questioned as to why. I really don't believe a £17 service charge was reasonable. - Dirty glasses - Luke warm water - No food came out at the same time (starter or mains for only 2 people) - No check back - Nearly 2 hours for 2 courses - A long wait for the bill - Manners do go a long way (never any please or thank yous) Unfortunately we will not be back.

For the cost, this place is definitely not even worth the consideration. The food was mediocre and the service was horrendous. When we first arrived and asked to be seated it took the staff over 10 minutes to clean up a table for us to sit when 90% restaurant seemed to be empty and unoccupied. We were also not treated well by the staff and were charged for an item we never requested. The staff were very pushy and were deliberately trying to convince us to order extras and add to the drinks we already ordered and they were hoping for some form of miscommunication so they can add more to our tab. This place really needs to be shaken down from management to staff. It’s a disgrace to sell such expensive meals when your staff is poorly trained. I would definitely skip this place all together, your money is worth spent elsewhere. They just want your money and have no respect. Me and my guests chose this restaurant for its class and its menu which included high price meals such as steaks but non of our guests were happy with the meal and especially the service which was disgraceful. UPDATE/REPLY: To state that my review is suspicious simply because I described a bad experience is very unprofessional and immature. I have no idea who is behind the keyboard here trying desperately save the restaurants reputation. I will contact the Casino directly and I can provide receipts and dates, and if that is not enough for you maybe your “suspicious” establishment can pull up the actual surveillance footage of me and my guests showing up. I am baffled by the response as this is the first time I have had any establishment blame me, the costumer, for a review that may not be desirable. I STAND BEHIND MY WORD AND I TRUTHFULLY DESCRIBED my experience. My visit was on the 15th of November 2025 around 9:50pm. Everything I have described is accurate. Please have some decency and accept the fact that some people may have a poor experience based on the service, atmosphere, and food provided. I will be contacting and will make sure whoever wrote this respond to be held responsible. The last thing you want is to blame the costumer after a poor experience, this on its own proves my point. Please go ahead and review the footage and see for yourself how the restaurant was barely occupied on the Saturday and how me and my guests were forced to wait awkwardly by the bar while people and servers squeezed past us. We waited while staff were taking their time setting up a table. When you pay premium prices you would assume you’re getting service to match. Shame on you for blaming the costumer. I will be making a formal complaint at this point with the restaurant and Casino.
