I don’t know why this place received negative reviews. It’s the second time we’ve eaten here in two consecutive days and we’ve experienced nothing but excellent service. Food is awesome and the staff were extremely helpful and welcoming! I would definitely recommend this place.

Wow very yummy. I don’t understand the low ratings. Great customer service, super kind and gives strong smiles and a lovely atmosphere. I am super picky about risotto and they met my expectations. The chicken was really moist. The pizza was like NYC/Philly which is a hard comparison. The sticky pudding was nice and warm and so yummy good. Reasonable prices. Three levels for big groups. Nice clean bathrooms. The location is right across the underground and two train stations. Will come again when I’m in town. Already had an update and I haven’t left yet 😂😂😂😂 Ok they are so kind and so sweet my husband and adult child went back to the hotel so I could take care of the bill and just chill for a little bit and finish my drink and they came over and gave me this drink shot and it was so yummy. But how thoughtful is that 🤯😍🥰❤️come on people That’s what makes restaurant outstanding. They go out of their way to make you feel special. This restaurant is a place to go.

Very welcoming and friendly service which was also very quick. The food was delicious, I had home made Lasagne , best I’ve ever had ! There are lots of restaurants to choose from in this highly competitive region and was so pleased we chose here. The service really was exceptional 😊

Popped in here on an overnight stay and hands down the food is amazing. I had the BEST chicken Milanese, have it with pasta you won’t be disappointed. The chicken was well seasoned, breaded and cooked to perfection. I enjoyed a passion fruit martini which is delicious. My dinner guest enjoyed a baked lasagne. Everything was well seasoned not overly salty like most American cooking. Anytime I’m back in the KINGS Cross area will definitely go back.

We stumbled upon this restaurant when we was walking back and the nice guy out front sold it to us to come in and try and I'm so glad he did, the staff were great very happy and couldn't do enough for you, the food was amazing, I went for the carbonara and it was so good also the desert was brilliant I went for the cannolo which was totally different to what you normally get with Italian restaurants, it was definitely my favourite, highly recommend this restaurant if you passing by, also the service was very very quick

Lovely Italian food wirh plentiful portions, ao much so that I had to takeaway my surplus pizza to the hotel for break fast. The service was excelent and friendly and the atmosphere was lovely, will go again.

Stopped in around 9:30 pm after a long day travelling. Pasta and appetizers were great. Staff was welcoming and arranged for some carry out as well for my companion back at the hotel. Perfecto!

We‘ve eaten here twice during our London vacation. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the food is the best italian food we‘ve ever had. We‘ll come back next time we are in town.

We have had a wonderful, authentic pizza to go, before our train at Kings Cross today. I cannot rate the service highly enough! I dropped my phone in the restaurant and didn't notice until I was at the platform. The manager of the restaurant appeared at the station to let me know where it was. So grateful to you and I will return for the quality food, and for going above and beyond in customer service ❣️

Had a great dinner here with my daughter on our first night in London, a few days ago. My daughter had pizza, of course, that had a great crust and fantastic sauce. I enjoyed the spaghetti with meatballs that were great and spaghetti just al dente. For desert a wonderful crepe with ice cream. Very pleasant atmosphere and great service. Will be back for sure if in that part of London again.

Altonapoli Italian Restaurant serves the best pepperoni pizza and pasta I've ever had—absolutely delicious and full of authentic flavors! The warm atmosphere and exceptional service made the dining experience truly memorable.

Really lovely restaurant in the heart of King’s Cross- I can’t believe I never saw it before! I ordered the bruschetta as a start and green pesto pasta for my main, and my friend ordered the lasagne, and we loved it. Also had a few cocktails which was nice! The atmosphere was nice, very sophisticated, and the service was lovely. Definitely would recommend!

The place is absolutely wonderful, the food is delicious, and especially Mr. Fayez, who was very helpful and always smiling.

We arrived to London from Ireland for the weekend. The hotel we stayed at recommended this restaurant and when they said it was excellent they were not lying. The staff are so nice and friendly. The food was so tasty. Would highly recommend. They are open for breakfast and dinner.

The restaurant atmosphere is family-friendly, the service is fast, and the waitress Maroua provides excellent service. The prices are reasonable compared to the quality and the food is delicious. I will visit it again.

I had the bruschetta and the salmon with vegetables. It was excellent! I sat outside, and was very comfortable. The atmosphere was lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful as well as attentive. The salmon was moist and cooked perfectly. The vegetables tasted fresh and were seasoned perfectly. This was a wonderful dining experience.

This is a cute place and the food was good. We stopped for breakfast. We had the Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast with Poached Eggs, and the Croissant with Ham and Cheese. We had a cappuccino and flat white. The fresh squeezed OJ was actually fresh squeezed! Stop in! The couple who own it were friendly and attentive.

I just wanted to use the restroom so ordered a takeaway cafe latte. All the staff were kind. The restroom in the basement was also clean and smelled of disinfectant.

Lovely atmosphere, great service. Very relaxed and let us sit in a nice window seat chatting for ages after we finished eating.

The food was excellent at Altonapoli Italian Restaurant. The only issue I had was the staff playing Mexican/Spanish music for themselves which I heard. It would have been to listen to Italian music.

Very good food for the price. Wine is reasonable and the service is quick and friendly. My only complaint was with the restroom which really needed attention.

The fastest Italian food I have ever had. Within 5 minutes every dish was served. So not fresh but tastes all ok. Great if you’re in a rush but not if you want authentic Italian cuisine.

Service was great! Staff was very friendly. Loved the pasta pesto and the almost unlimited extra cheese. The ice cream (vanilla) was okay, just a bit runny already when served and it had little pieces of natural ice in it. Fanta was a bit too pricy for my liking: 4,50 for a can of 330ml.

Food was nice enough, but be careful when paying. They bring the card machine with an automatic option to add tips at various % before paying, which we did but on closer inspection of the bill later it turned out they'd already added a service charge so we basically tipped twice. Also, don't go downstairs to the toilets. It looks like the apocalypse.

Food decent at this small eatery but the management needs to be taken to task for imposing à service charge and then asking for tips on top of service. The waiter tells me the service charge only goes to the kitchen staff and tips to the waiting staff. That is not how it is supposed to work in the UK and these US style hidden charges should not discouraged. Best avoided.

Mandatory service charge which could not be removed from the bill. Was told this is stated on the menu and we were to have mentioned prior to ordering, but this is clearly just a tactic to get extra money from unsuspecting people from the train station catchment area. Food was totally fine, staff were friendly enough on walking in but distant after food was ordered. Vibe and atmosphere was fairly bare bones too, random Coca-cola prints around the walls, a garish neon sign on a brick facade wall, and a seemingly corridor like restaurant room. Not much space for privacy and conversation from 1 table carried around the whole space. Some of the food is cheap enough for the area and so I'd only recommend as a last chance choice - as it was my "I give up looking for somewhere interesting looking" before my train was due.

Went here with work, we are small team and they booked this place for our Christmas get together. I'm vegan and I only let him know that until a week after booking. He messaged them to find out the vegan options and he was assured there was the following vegan melanzana, vegan pasta options, vegan cheese for pizza, grilled vegetables. So they had no vegan cheese. Staff looked at me blank like they didn't know what I was on about. I was able to have the pasta that was nice. But actually wanted the pizza.

Went in early lunch as the breakfast omelettes sounded good but they weren’t serving the breakfast menu. We didn’t want a full lunch just a snack. Why not say on the menu the times this menu is available. Save any confusion

Please be careful, not allergen safe at all. No allergen menu at all (bizarre) and the employees reacted very strangely at the request for one. Every establishment should have easily accessible allergen information, this was highly disappointing and majorly unacceptable.

Food was brought out cold, when I told staff they didn't say anything just took the plate and then another 10 minutes later we were given a new plate. Never any communication or an apology for the cold food. Then they added a tip on to the bill for the most half arsed service I've seen in a while.

I'm not likely to be visiting King's Cross very often. for someone who may be looking for a nearby eatery I'll say don't bother. I ordered the spaghetti bolognese, more meat in a tin from the supermarket. 👎👎👎

We ate tagliatelle bolognese. Worst we ever had. Also they added service fee to the bill and still asked if we wanted to tip.
