I was here in March (sorry I’m late with the review!), a friend living in London brought me here and I’ve to say that the experience was very very good! Beautiful atmosphere, really welcoming place, extremely kind staff. Great food of course! I loved everything and I’ll come back as soon as I can! Strongly recommended!

Loved it From the moment you get in, everything is performing. You feel welcomed. Great staff and some of the best Georgian food you can get outside of Georgia and I’ve had authentic Georgian food in half a dozen countries. We tried the meze platter which was perfect. Aubergine rolls as an appetizer was my favorite - it’s usually great everywhere but this one was the best Adjaruli khachapuri (bread boat with cheese and egg) was next level. Authentic, delicious cheese and egg. Must try. Khinkali were perfectly seasoned and as juicy as you can expect. Mtsvadi (pork kebab) with plum sauce was delicious. Juicy meat and sweet and sour sauce - loved it. Staff were friendly and attentive. Thank you team. Can’t wait to be back. Love Georgian food and this is top notch!

We popped here on the off chance and just loved this place! The staff were sooooo friendly, the atmosphere just chill and the food was stunning! I would highly recommend this as a place to take someone to impress them! Fab for a super chilled date! Beware, there may be more spice in there than you think! But such amazing flavours!

Tasty foods and friendly staff. Highly recommended. This is my first visit after left London. I’m really glad this restaurant is still here!

Amazing traditional Georgian food with the BEST adjaruli khachapuri ever! We also tried various types of khinkali and Georgian salad, which all were amazing. The service was warm and efficient - thank you! I will certainly come back.

Love Georgian food so probably biased but great food and the service was amazing. The wait staff explained our meals and made it a really personal experience!

It’s such a nice place with authentic Georgian cuisine. I’ve been craving Adjaruli khachapuri for so long and in this place it’s simply delicious. Completely stunning taste. Everything else we ordered was great as well. The selection of Georgian wine is great. Service is nice, welcoming and friendly. It’s so nice to see Georgian people really loving what they do. The vibe inside is relaxing and calm. The place is not cheap, but the food is all worth it. Card payments accepted, but not Amex.

We had an amazing experience at Little Georgia Islington! We’ve tried Georgian food in many different countries — Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and Georgia itself — and the food here felt authentic and ranked very highly amongst all the places we’ve been. We booked a table in advance so we didn’t have to wait at all, but in any case it wasn’t overly crowded, and the waiters were very attentive and took our order quickly. I’m confused by reviews saying the staff were impolite, as that was not our experience at all — both waiters were friendly and patient and we didn’t feel rushed. The portion sizes are great, the food was hot and arrived very quickly, and everything was flavourful and felt as though care had been taken over it. I’d absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting Georgian food in London and hope to come back soon!

if you're looking for fabulous Georgian food, then come down to Little Georgia. The staff were lovely, the meat was tender and the dishes were full of flavour.

Tucked away in Angel in a converted pub is a little gem. The selection of salads are small but very yum! Vegetarian selection is very cheese based!

Came on a Friday night with some friends and despite being familiar with Russian/Eastern European food - I’d never tried Georgian! The food is amazing, super tasty and freshly made. Definitely try the Khinkali dumplings and freshly baked Khachapuri. Staff are super friendly and always happy to recommend or give info on dishes. Lots of parking nearby after a certain time in the evenings and close to transport.

Just go here, try it and you may become a regular. We took a chance and booked it with friends on a Wednesday night and it felt like we had uncovered a real gem. Homey, welcoming, interesting decor. But the real "gem" is the food. So unique in flavour profile, carefully and traditionally prepared with obvious pride. The traditional bread (cheese version) is worth the 15 preparation time. I suggest ordering it as soon as you sit down. The beef stew, remarkable. The chicken in a walnut creamy sauce was brilliant. The gluten-free "cornbread with bean spread" was fought over at our table it was so good. Everyone who was not Gluten-free raved on and on about the dumplings. Starters, mains and two bottles of wine £200 for the four of us. Very good Georgian Wine choices were a bonus

It's a lovely place, very warm and cozy. It has A retro theme. We went for dinner and if you love Georgian food, this is one of the best places to go in London. The food was really good and we had a really good time. It's not cheap though but worth the money you'll spend for your experience. Do try Georgian soft drinks, they are pretty refreshing.

This is my second time here and this time I bought the family and it was without a doubt one of our favourite places in London! The food is absolutely beautiful (from the starters, mains and desserts), the staff so so lovely and helpful and just overall great vibe and decor. Can't recommend enough! I've been by myself and also with my family and both times I've loved!

Don't miss the adjaruli khachapuri (cheese boat)! We also had chkmeruli (chicken in garlic walnut sauce) just felt a bit salty ; and khinkali (large dumplings). Georgia claims to be the birthplace of wine: was impressed with their house red - overall great experience ❤️

I’m a big fan of Georgian food and love seeking out Georgian restaurants wherever I go. During a recent short trip to London, I had about three hours to spare and found one nearby. Without a reservation, I took a chance and was lucky enough to get a table for 1 hour and 20 minutes. As soon as I sat down, I was struck by the beautiful decor—filled with vintage Georgian posters, nostalgic memorabilia, and warm lighting that created a lively yet pleasantly calm atmosphere. I asked the kind waitress about the posters and the films they represented, and she enthusiastically shared detailed stories about each, appreciating my interest in Georgia. I decided to order the house’s version of Khachapuri Adjaruli, which was delightful. While finishing my coffee and soaking in the ambiance, another waiter approached me with a polite, apologetic smile. There had been a reservation mix-up, and the next guests had already arrived. Having worked in the restaurant business myself, I reassured them that I understood and was just about finished anyway. The staff’s warmth, respectfulness, and care made such an impression on me that, if they’d asked, I would have gladly rolled up my sleeves and helped in the kitchen. Before I left, I gave them my contact, hoping they could help me find more Georgian memorabilia like theirs. But honestly, I would have preferred to stay, befriend them, and savor more of those small, beautiful moments that life is truly made of. Update: Two weeks later, I returned—this time with a friend and a reservation—and we were able to savor every moment. Every bite of the delicious food we ordered, every word of our delightful conversation with Sando (who was on duty that day), every sip of the exquisite wine he recommended, and every detail of the Gesamtkonzept—the œuvre d'art crafted by the interior designers within these cozy four walls—was pure joy. Yet, the most heartwarming surprise awaited me: I was gifted a stunning book, Supra, written by the owner Tiko herself. You truly can't grasp the essence of Gastfreundschaft until you've experienced it in (little) Georgia. Trust me, you won't regret it!

Lovely experience! The food was excellent and although extremely busy the service was fantastic! The mezze starter was so tasty with the little salads and the cheesy bread was so moreish. I had the poussin with garlic , walnut and pecan sauce with rice which was really delicious and also the veal stew which was a special which was deep and rich with flavour. Definitely recommend!!!

Came here a couple of weeks ago for a birthday dinner. The staff were lovely and the atmosphere was good, we were sat in a cozy little corner under a window of our choosing. The food was incredibly filling and the wine was lovely - we ordered nigvziani badrijani (which I keep thinking about!), the Little Georgia special khachapuri, and the meat khinkali. We had a glass of mukuzani each. They also brought out a little dessert for my birthday which was kind! We spent a good couple hours here, and left happy and full - we actually wound up taking home leftovers, so keep that in mind! It was a great first experience for us with Georgian food, and I'd be keen to try it again.

I was at Little Georgia Islington today, at table 8. The experience was fantastic: from the moment we walked in, they welcomed us warmly, even though the restaurant was full and there were no bookings. The food is delicious: everything is prepared in the restaurant including the bread. The seasoning is excellent, it makes you leave London straight for Georgia. Authentic food, extremely friendly staff, restaurant decorated with posters of classic Georgian films. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to savour authentic Georgian cuisine. The wine list is vast, but I opted for a Georgian beer to get to know it. It was my first time here and it certainly won't be my last. The prices are fair for the quality, service and atmosphere.

If you've never had Georgian food before, I'd implore you to come here and try their food. There are some great Georgian restaurants in London but this is my favourite one and the closest to what I've had in Georgia. The interior and atmosphere are very cosy and the staff are very polite and professional. Georgian food is generally unknown in the UK so I'd definitely recommend people to come and try this very underrated cuisine. It's delicious, hearty, and comforting. I would recommend trying the different regional variants of khachapuri, which is the baked cheese bread in the photos. Another classic you should definitely try is khinkhali which are Georgian style dumplings. Be sure to try Georgian wine with your meal as it's some of the best in the world. გმადლობთ

Little gem. Place doesn't look very inviting from the outside but has interesting decor inside. Food- OMG- Absolutely beautiful!!! Between us we had 2 different starters and 3 different mains and all were absolutely delicious. Beef stew had a little spice to it and was full of flavour. Garlic chicken in creamy walnut sauce was finger licking good and dipping bread in that sauce was oddly satisfying 😄 Cheese bread for starter is a must- well worth the wait. Georgian beer was really nice too. The only downside for me was lack of cocktail options - I'm not a wine lover so my choice was limited.

What a fabulous little restaurant. I visited with my son, who had an interest in trying authentic Georgian food after making Georgian cheese bread at school. We had the cheese bread to start. It was delicious, I would definitely recommed. My son had the kinkali for his main and I tried the pork kebab. The portions were generous and food was really tasty. I also tried a glass of the amber wine. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and it gave it a good atmosphere. Service was very good. The waitress was on her own serving everyone and she worked hard getting everyone's orders and serving them. If we are ever back in Islington we will be back again.

Love the mezze platter with 6 different starters and all tasted wonderful. The cheese bread is also very nice and we felt already rather full, perhaps because it’s rather rich. The restaurant has a cosy feel, though the cherry big table near us was rather loud at times. I would love to go back to try the dumplings and the lamb dish.

R
Roberto Bandiera (Robbé)

I had the pleasure of trying an Imeruli Khachapuri as a starter and a chicken-based Chkmeruli without rice as a main. The former was excellent and the latter excellent, both in terms of the freshness of the ingredients and the cooking which made the food delicate and tasty on the palate. Relaxed atmosphere with soft lighting and rustic decor.

Delicious food, nice vibe. Celebrated birthday there, staff were very friendly, had a great time

The food here is amazing, we loved everything we ordered. My favorite was the plum poussin. The traditional walnut honey cake as a finish was something we never tasted before. If I can give this place six stars I totally would.

Ok here’s the deal - I’ve had Georgian food a few times and it’s always been fab. Little Georgia is a proper gem. The food is super delicious and filling . You get flavours that you won’t get anywhere else ! Also the wine is top notch - please try the wine. Reasonable prices too ! 🤜

Definitely going to revisit! I love all their food. Sadly I ordered the wrong cheese bread (I wanted the boat shaped one with the egg yolk) so I have to go again😆 The servers were friendly and the atmosphere was very unique.

What a great place! I’m a fan of Georgian food and Little Georgia didn’t disappoint. Their khachapuri are delicious and they have a veggie version of borscht which is usually hard to find.

Amazing food, great ambience, could not recommend this place more. The wine is all genuine imported Georgian wine and the food authentic and delicious! The 10/10 recommend!

Been here twice now and this is truly a gem of a restaurant. Food is brilliant and very interesting, great wine and the service is beyond friendly and efficient! Couldn't recommend more.

Little Georgia is one of my favourite restaurants in London. The food is consistently excellent — rich, fresh, and full of traditional Georgian flavours. The staff are always friendly and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy, perfect for both dinner with friends or a quiet evening out. If you’ve never tried Georgian food before, this is the best place to start! Thanks you Little Georgia ❤️

Very good and comforting Georgian food. You must try the khachapuri - such an indulgent gooey and cheesy treat. The aubergine and dumplings were also extremely good. I thought that the price point was a bit too high for the type of restaurant. So I would say it serves homemade style comforting food with a high end price though.

Come for cheese bread and dumplings! I've never had Georgian food, but my experience from this made me want to try it more. We got a sharing plate, a cheese bread, and a bean bread for starters. I would have eaten 3 cheese breads on my own. We also tried Georgian wine... I was not impressed. For mains, we got a mix of soups, chicken, and dumplings. My favorites were the chicken and the dumplings. The chicken was charred on the outside, but soft on the inside.

L
Licia Capra

we enjoyed a good dinner tonight at this restaurant. we shared the meze for two with cheese bread (good flavours, though quite expensive for the amount of food served). for mains, we had khinkali (excellent) and tabaka (good). service was efficient. unfortunately, the place gets very loud even when only half full (it seems to be popular with large groups out to party, even in a midweek night)

This place has been on my list for a very long time ever since I got it as a recommendation from a work colleague and I was really happy that I finally got to try it with a friend on a Tuesday night. We made a reservation in advance and it was good that we did because it did get filled up after 7:30pm even though it was a week day. We went with the khachapuri (cheese bread) and some salad mezze, as well as the traditional khinkali dumplings. The bread was baked fresh on order but we didn't have to wait long before it was served with the salad together and it's indeed so fluffy and soft. The staff told us to mix the egg with the cheese before eating and it's fun to dip the bread into the filling which was so rich and creamy and super moreish. The salads were all super refreshing and savoury. Went super well with the bread on the side. The dumplings were so huge and rather thick, unlike east Asian dumplings that we are used to eating which was a good cultural experience in itself. But it did get too filling halfway through because of how much dough there was compared to the filling ratio so we got really stuffed in the end but ofc we finished everything off! The beef filling in the dumplings was well-marinated and tender which felt like a comfort food for me as someone from a Chinese cultural background growing up eating lots of dumplings. Service was great. The staff explained clearly to us how to order and was friendly to teach us how to eat the cheese bread. The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice and quite romantic so it's definitely a good dating spot. It's also very spacious between tables so we didn't feel like we were crammed and that our conversations would be overheard and it's not noisy at all. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and I would like to come back soon and try their stew next time.

The staff were lovely, walked us through the menu and gave us some recommendations as newbies to Georgian food. We loved the food - would absolutely recommend the meze and cheese bread. We also ordered the pork & beef dumplings and chkmeruli (chicken) and the portions were perfect for 3! Great value.

The food is delicious but it’s a bit pricy even for this area particularly if you consider the service. This is the second time that I go to this restaurant. tonight for starter we had Khinkali ( meat dumplings) and Adjarruli Khachapuri ( pastry with cheese and herb topping) . Khachapuri was absolutely delicious and fresh but dumplings didn’t match the restaurant’s reputation and definitely not the price. The dough was thick and uncooked from the top which was unpleasant to eat so I had to open it to just eat the filling. The Filling was tasty though. For main we had Kotnis lubio with pork and Chkmeri ( chicken with walnut and garlic sauce) I believe they were both flavoursome and nice but sadly because they served us the main while we were half way through eating our starter, we couldn’t eat the main and had to take it way. I was catching up with a friend after a long time. We planned to stay there for few hours to enjoy a long chat along with lots of good food. But the main was served very early and felt like we should eat and leave. It’s fair to expect the restaurant’s staff to wait for customers to finish their starter or at least ask them if they have finished before serving the main. We were really surprised that it took them more than 20 minutes to serve starters but mains arrived shortly after start. That’s a shame we didn’t get chance to enjoy such a nice food. For wine, I asked the staff who served us for white wine recommendation. He recommended a fantastic white wine which I really enjoyed. It was soft and fruity with a bit of sweet aftertaste .

The first time tried Georgian food so wasn’t sure what to expect, but pleasantly surprised. Particularly liked the cheese bread and the aubergine rolls. A glass of Georgian wine was also great, a reasonable priced too. Dumplings (we tried vegetarian version with cheese inside) was a bit dry and doughy and salmon was nothing too different from the any other salmon dishes. Service wasn’t particularly friendly but not professional enough. The place has a quite ‘upscale’ vibe rather than a casual, so would recommend for a nice evening out.

f
freddie gayfer

Never had Georgian food before so this was a pleasant surprise. Everything tasted nice and the cheesy bread was an experience. Slight downside was the dough on the dumplings being undercooked/raw at the thick twisty part. And the drinks were pretty expensive, though imported from Georgia so understandable. Nice atmosphere with (I assume) Georgian music so that was cool.

A
Amy Z.

First time trying Georgian food and it won’t be my last time! Can’t comment on whether or not they are authentic but they did taste good (with reasonable price). The restaurant can get busy and loud during dinner time, but lovely vibes in general. The staff were friendly, although the gentleman taking our order did not seem to be familiar with the menu. He had to check the food we were ordering, but ended up getting the wrong cheesebread for us anyway (we only realised when we got the bill, but to be fair the dish names are long). Guess we will have to try the other one next time!

Lovely atmosphere and service. First time trying Georgian food and wine, and we loved it. We were a bit rushed to leave the place despite being before the closure time otherwise it was a great experience

M
Matt Cole

Nice little place with excellent authentic Georgian food. We weren’t really sure what anything was so needed some help from the waitress to decide what to order. Most of it was great - especially the meze, cheese bread and aubergine main. For the price I think I they could improve some areas, like having physical menus instead of QR codes, which would make the experience feel a bit more special. Definitely recommend trying it out though!

K
Kevin Koh

Surprising nice Georgian food found here. While prices are a little high, the food has standard. We ordered a khachapuri and a salmon masharpit just to try. Both are excellent! The khachapuri cheese bread was soft and hot. Of special mention is the salmon which was served with a special tangy sauce which when eaten with the fish was just amazing. The dessert which was a pie was also very good. One of the few desserts that I actually finished. Overall recommended

J
Justin Kwong

Went for dinner and it did not disappoint. The house special khachipuri was delicious and overflowing with ingredients. Went with a bottle of kvanchkara and it paired very well. Aside from the adjaruli khachipuri, the badrijani and the khinkali were presented well but ultimately unsatisfying in terms of portion size.

A
Anant Sangar

This is the first time I’ve tried Georgian food so I don’t really have a benchmark to review against. I’ve ordered meat dumplings which were cooked nicely and juicy from inside. The bread filled with cottage cheese was also tasty and cooked nicely. I don’t recommend ordering the pork filets as they were far too dry. Although the menu is on the pricier side it’s still worth a try. The food is very light in spices which some might like a lot and others find too bland. For me it was a nice change as I usually have food that is more spiced up.

L
Laura Gonzalez

For the price, it’s just not worth it. We ordered cashasuli, khinkali and some mushrooms as starters — nearly £70 — and the food was simply tasteless compared to authentic Georgian cuisine. The place itself is nice, but it has a strange smell. When it rains, they wipe the floor and the whole place smells like a bathroom.

M
Mahmoud Magdy

We ordered a dish called Tabaka. I dont really know what went wrong their but the chicken tasted rotten and smelt weirdly. We had an appetiser and that was okay. The place is cozy and the staff really friendly, however the food was just so bad, particularly too because their items are expensive.

D
Dr Elsh

Great disappointment!!! I used to come to this restaurant a lot and now I tried it again after some time and the quality has dropped massively. We did not finish our food, the food was inedible and the chicken smelt and tasted like it was out of the fridge for days. So disappointed to see a previously great place be in that state. Inedible food for not so cheap prices.
