Dined here for my mum's birthday meal and it was a perfect dining experience. The food is excellent, especially the octopus and the lamb. The service made it extra special - very attentive and went above and beyond to make it a unique and warm dining experience. Thank you again to the Lima Fitzrovia team and Ray for your hospitality. See you again soon!

A smaller restaurant than expected but nonetheless food was fantastic. My friend and I opted for the set menu and every single dish was cooked very well and they offer a pisco sour with the set menu which was also well made. Service was attentive, staff were polite and helpful.

Loved it, definitely more of a special occasion kind of place but it was hard to fault any dishes. Everything was fresh, inventive and tasty. Staff were lovely and attentive, they do a great pisco sour!

Lovely celebration dinner. Very tasty food, friendly and helpful waiters, cosy, quiet space.

10/10 all around. Great tasting menu at a reasonable cost (£55 for the smaller tasting menu with 5 dishes). Great mix of flavours with Peruvian influence, all using fresh ingredients that compliment each other in a unique and interesting way. Great service and very friendly staff. Nice atmosphere with low lighting yet a lively and bustling feel. Good for a nice occasion, dinner with friends or date night!

Amazing food, really special. The flavors are great, you can see it is made with real talent and love. Special mention to the fish main (can't remember the exact name) which was incredible, the combined flavors in the plate made the "perfect bite" truly perfect! But really everything was great from starter to desert, not forgetting the pisco sour! Service was also great, not too much, just attentive, kind and thoughtful, special thanks to Sassy for the dessert recommendation! Will definitely come back.

Loved this restaurant! We ordered the ceviche, the bread, and the crab as starters - highly recommend them. As mains we had a wonderful octopus (super tender and juicy) and the iberico (extremely good, one of the best ever had). To finish, we devoured the chocolate mousse, delicious. Our host Sassy was very attentive, she recommended a few dishes and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back, sorry for not taking pics but the food was just too good so I got distracted 😅

Lima London is an absolute gem for anyone looking to experience authentic, contemporary Peruvian cuisine in the heart of London. The vibrant flavors, creative dishes, and elegant presentation truly set it apart. From the refreshing ceviche to the expertly crafted dishes, every bite bursts with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The ambiance is stylish yet welcoming, and the attentive staff elevate the experience. Whether you’re a foodie or simply someone who enjoys a unique dining experience, Lima London never disappoints. Highly recommend for an unforgettable culinary adventure!

I chose to spend my birthday here and I am so happy I did. Food was amazing, they perfectly catered to my gluten free friend and have us more starters. The service was honestly so warm and I felt like we were taken very good care of. We even got a Polaroid picture at the end and some digestif shots… highly recommend, thank you Lima!

Service was absolutely STUNNING!!! Went there for my birthday today with my parents and oh my god the service was absolutely amazing! They were so attentive and incredible! The young woman and one of the managers were so amazing with us that made our night so memorable! The food was absolutely amazing with such an incredible mix of flavours we couldn’t stop complimenting the food! Thank you Lima for such an astonishing evening! I work in hospitality myself and wow, I was impressed!!! will be coming back!

It was my second time visiting a Peru -style restaurant in London. The waiter was very good, polite, and introduced the foods in detail with a smile. Foods are delicious, so we booked to come back with friends next time.

Going to Lima restaurant in London was basically similar to going in a small trip to Peru in itself. We loved our dining experience from the start to the end. The menu was a bit short and that is a plus as each dish was made with pure passion and dedication. The waiter was knowledgable with the menu and he had a very nice attitude while giving us his recommendations. All of his recommendations were amazing. We started our meal with classic ceviche and crab causa that melted in our mouth like butter. Later on came the scallops in a zesty buttery sauce. For the main course, we had the grilled octopus, charred bass and both were out of this world. Finally, the desserts have arrived and they were very very authentic flan and chocolate mousse with candied sesame. I would highly recommends visiting Lima and ordering all the mentioned dishes. Special “muchas gracias” to the chef and the team for the memorable dining experience.

Lovely Peruvian food , attentive service and good atmosphere. Loved everything from starters to dessert. The buns with the peanut sauce were so nice, the ceviche and octopus were delicious. Would definitely recommend this place. It’s chic and ideal for either groups or dates.

We ate at Lima three weeks ago and I’m still thinking about it — that’s how good it was. From start to finish, everything was flawless. The food was vibrant, creative, beautifully presented and bursting with flavour. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, with the perfect balance of freshness, texture and spice. The service was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. The atmosphere was also perfect — stylish, relaxed, intimate without feeling quiet. It struck the ideal balance between sophisticated and inviting. Overall, Lima delivered one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. We’ll definitely be back.

We love to try out new restaurants and this time my sister recommended us Lima several times. She always comes here every time she comes to London (from Norway). She was right. The food was excellent, fresh, lots of flavors. Best calamari and flan ever! The service was very professional and humble. I’ve got to say hello to the friendly chef as well. We will gladly come again next time we visit London. Thank you from Germany 🇩🇪

I went yesterday with a friend and had the set menu. The restaurant is very cozy and has an open kitchen just a as you walk in where the chef is Peruvian and in general the staff in the kitchen is all South American. There are many pisco cocktails to chose from and they seem all delicious. I had the passion fruit one. The ceviche was very good and tasted exactly like in Peru but I complained about the choclo that was missing and instead there was some dried one instead. The service excellent and must book as the tables are limited.

Decided to celebrate some special birthdays at this hidden gem I spotted on Instagram—famous for its stunning decor and some of the best desserts around! The outside might look simple, but step inside, and you're welcomed by a warm, inviting atmosphere with cozy seating, plus more space in the basement. We kicked off our meal with Isle of Skye scallops, perfectly cooked with just the right tangy touch of lemon and a satisfying crunch from the greens. For mains, we savored chewy octopus with kimchi and confit potatoes—delicious indeed! But the highlight for me was the maitake mushrooms with sweetcorn cake, which stole my heart. We wrapped up our feast with a lovely vanilla flan and a heavenly chocolate mousse topped with almond crumble and candied sesame seeds, adding wonderful texture to the rich dark chocolate. The attentive, friendly service made the experience even more enjoyable. This place is definitely on my list for future special occasions—can't wait to return!

Great location and the new menu looks really good. I just had the bread to start, which suits my sweet tooth. The catch of the day was excellent as were the accompanying vegetables. Chocolate mousse to end was superb. Had a nice chat with the server whilst sorting out the bill to give feedback on the menu items.

Classy Peruvian food in a non-fussy atmosphere. Ate on my own as a special treat for my birthday and they accommodated my gluten free diet. Everything was excellent. I had the tasting lunch menu - the cervice, corn bread that came with the lamb and guava sorbet were my faves. Also had two super tasty cocktails that made me feel like I wasn't missing out on alcohol. Top service too! Will definitely return!

We happened to be walking by and found this Peruvian restaurant on Google. They kindly seated us right away, and everything exceeded our expectations. The food was exceptional, the service attentive, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. A wonderful Peruvian dining experience — we’ll certainly return!

We spent the day in London, and this was our final stop before driving back to the Midlands and what a perfect way to end the evening! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding our server was incredibly attentive and made us feel so well looked after. I had the Tuna Tartare to start, followed by the Octopus main, and I can honestly say it was one of the most delicious meals I’ve had in a very long time. My friend chose the Sea Bass, which was equally impressive. This place is an absolute gem and definitely worth a visit. I can’t wait to come back!

This is a great restaurant for anyone looking to try Peruvian food in London. The food here is more a creative take on Peruvian cuisine, and it’s absolutely delicious! They offer a lot of different menus, and I decided to have their lunch specials. The staff are friendly and take the time to explain the available menus. The restaurant itself has a modern and stylish vibe with interesting Peruvian decorations

Amazing value and quality for the 2 course lunch menu. Food are absolutely delicious. Waitress missed a side order but very kindly took it off our bill. Very satisfied, full, and will come again!

The tasting menu was delicious, everything was so fresh and flavourful. There wasn't a bad dish. Everything was cooked perfectly and the different, varied ingredients complimented each other so well. We had a table outside and the ambience in the evening was lovely. The waiters were very, very attentive.

What a pleasant surprise! The food are really really good quality, one of my friend never had raw food so she was hesitant at first, but in the end she find all the dishes very refreshing and delicious! We had my friend’s birthday celebration here and we all had a wonderful time!!

Sublime. The food here was out of this world. Every dish we had I was convinced was one of the best things that I have eaten. The highlight for me was the scallops but you can’t really go wrong... I definitely want to go back and try their tasting menu. The restaurant itself was beautiful and the atmosphere and service were amazing. I would definitely recommend for a special occasion as it is rather expensive.

Fantastic from start to end. Great staff who were very attentive but not overly so. Wonderful food with interesting flavours. The tasting menu is a great selection of dishes and worth the money to get the full experience

Excellent Peruvian food in London, with a slight modern twist. Service is very attentive, and everything is really well made. Decided to go for a la carte instead of the tasting menu. The corquetas weren't as good as I would expect from a place like this. But everything else we ordered was great. The causa was probably my favorite, but then again it's probably one of my favorite Peruvian dishes in general. The food came at the right pace, was well seasoned, and the atmosphere was relaxed and not uptight. I also really like the decor they have there.

This is a generational restaurant. Serving amazing Peruvian food and wonderful cocktails. All the ceviches and raw fish items were excellent, the meat was absolutely fantastic and the service was second to none. You will struggle to find a better restaurant with this type of fppd anywhere in London. Amazing - 9.4.

We love this place. We have been to Lima 7 years before when it was a Michelin star restaurant and since then it has only gotten better. Super friendly staff providing plenty of details about the menu and the preparation of the plates. Great menu with a good mix of cooked and raw food. Great alcoholic and non alcoholic cocktails options. Desserts wasn’t the best but everything else was an absolute dream. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere with a nice mix of indoor and outdoor seatings. Good restaurant capacity thanks to the upstairs and downstairs seating area. Not ideal for kids and great for a night out for a couple. The miso aubergine and the black cod are absolutely amazing

Had a lovely birthday lunch here! The service was fast and attentive, the cocktail I had was tasty and inventive. Huge shoutout to the Causa (try it!!) and the Saltado. Was like getting a gourmet taste of home 😋

Had early dinner on a Tuesday. The restaurant was busy and had the positive vibe of a place where people are enjoying themselves. Tables are well spaced and the decor is modern but with clear Peruvian touches. Staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Good cocktail menu, not surprisingly focused on pisco (good variety) but also with very good non alcoholic cocktails. And the best part; the food is excellent. Had the tasting menu- very well balanced, full of Peruvian flavours; sea food and fish, lime, pork; freshness and acidity, super presentation and great service. Highly recommended!

Food was delicious. But service was out of this world it was amazing. 10/10 I am Peruvian so I mean it. They catered to our guest allergies and everything had so much flavour.

I do not understand why Lima is not constantly booked out. This is the only restaurant in London that I have been multiple times, with consistent quality of food that leaves me perfectly contented. You cannot go wrong here, sending my appreciation and admiration to the incredible team xx

We are trying quality food and greatly rated restaurants in London for the past two years, and this restaurant is by far the best in London. Perfectly crafted dishes and genuine care offered by the staff made our new year's evening special. I cannot thank enough our waiter Sassy and ,of course, the chef for making our day. Words cannot justify how great today has been so I can only say a big THANK YOU to the restaurant & all the staff.

This is one of my favourite restaurants for special occasions, as well when I feel like treating myself with amazing, delicious food and the best cocktails. Lovely, quiet atmosphere. The staff are wonderful, very attentive - thank you, Jaros for looking after us so well. Highly recommended!

Honestly wanted this to be a 5 star experience but the service was just not good. We had booked online the set menu and it came with complimentary wine tasting as a promotion. We got there and sat down, I tried explaining to the waiter we had booked this and they just didn’t understand. Which is fine. The food was absolutely amazing. At the end when we went to pay, they try to charge me for the complimentary wine tasting. When I told them, they had asked me to prove to them on my phone that I booked it, so so unprofessional. They then proceeded to remove the charge but still try to charge us service charge on the extra 80£. Which at that point I had already paid without realising. When I asked for a refund of the extra the manager had an attitude and pretended like he didn’t know what we could do. He proceeded to walk off and start arranging candles on tables while we were waiting to leave for ages. He refunded us the amount very easily so not sure what the big deal was. Would had no problem if the service was actually half decent.

It was my first time trying Peruvian cuisine, and it lived up to my expectations. While the wait between courses felt a bit long at times, the staff’s warm and attentive service made it pleasant rather than tedious. The lamb dish was exceptional and easily my favorite. The sauce served with the oysters was slightly sweet for my taste, which took away a bit from their natural flavor, but overall everything was very enjoyable.

Y
Yuqi Wang

The dishes were impeccably presented, and the staff were professional & welcoming. However, several dishes were excessively salty and difficult to enjoy without accompanying drinks. While the quality of ingredients and cooking techniques was evident, the flavour profiles lacked the boldness and depth typically associated with Peruvian cuisine. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience to try a new restaurant in Soho, but given the price point and the flavour, I do not plan to return.

F
Flo Grd

A very nice restaurant with good food, and a Peruvian touch indeed. Good quality and fresh, although I wouldn't say it's very surprising or original, and I think it's a little pricy for what it is. That said, it's a good choice for a night out and the staff is nice, albeit they seemed somehow overly in a rush to get us through starters and to mains.

S
Seda Y.

We really liked the welcome, service, service. There is a team that is both attentive and smiling. We ordered the 5-course tasting menu and a few extras. In terms of taste, the wagyu was very bland, the octopus course was visually beautiful but cold and hard. The ceviche was delicious.

We had dinner here last weekend. What a beautiful spot, with amazing staff! The service was outstanding, very attentive and warm. The food looked great, but the flavors didn’t blow us away. It was fine, not everything was to our taste however. The shiso leaf with tuna is amazing, the croquettas and quinoto weren’t very rememberable. Tuna with tiger milk was fine. Since the staff were so great, I really cannot give 3 stars, they made it 4 :). I think we might also be a little disappointed in the food because of the high price range, that maybe set the bar and expectations too high.

S
Stanislas Lesniak

Went to Lima on a friend’s recommendation, but I must admit I was a bit disappointed given the price. The service really didn’t live up to expectations, and the portions were very small. But the mains (pork and sirloin) were tasty. A shame, really.

D
Delia Parker

Seriously disappointed with the food here. The steak dish was supposed to be medium rare as requested with roasted pink fir potatoes - was totally rare with no potatoes (as integral part of dish on menu) and a bowl of plain rice appeared which wasn't ordered and sent back. Fobbed off with the chef changing things every day (although think chef may not have been there).. terrible value as well for prices charged... have eaten Peruvian food several times at a couple of independent restaurants in London which are fabulous and also cheaper (although not about price, but price and quality should go hand in hand). Having said that service was lovely, and voiced our concerns to the waiter and discount was given on bill.

G
G

Crap all round. Useless front to back, don't bother, plenty of other nicer places in the area. The quality of steak was dog food mate! N.B. the napkins are so thin, what's the point!? Dry cleaning bill incoming and don't feel glamorous for the next event kiddos.... LEARN

I went to Lima for the first time 12 years ago, and last weekend my wife and I came back…. what a MASSIVE DIISSAPOINTMENT. Service was “ok”; but the food was absolutely not what one would expect for the price, and the memories I had 12 years ago. We order several dishes. First disappointment the pisco sour, one of the worse I’ve tried, not even the “chilean pisco sour” is that bad, no smell, no flavour; I was even questioning whether they had used lime… awful really. Then the ceviche, obviously was a frozen fish and it couldn’t have been more tasteless. Then crab cause, that was fine, tiny! but fine. Then THE scallop, and I say THE scallop because it was only one tiny scallop for which they charged £12. The lomo was alright but nothing special, and again £34 for a really small portion. I could go on and on, but at this point is just better to forget since it wasn’t not even near to what you expect for a £171 meal. I really think the owners need to pay a visit to Peru or hire a proper Peruvian chef, and step up their game. I was a bit embarrassed about this level of restaurant serving Peruvian food at such a poor level. What a shame. I won’t be back., that’s for sure!
