We had a great time at Sticks 'n Sushi. A great variety of Sushi and Saki!

Such a wonderful experience; the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We tried their new spicy tori chicken and it was amazing.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Sricks'n'Sushi with my friends, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delightful – full of flavor and beautifully presented. The variety on the menu catered to all our preferences, making it hard to choose just one favorite. The service, however, was the highlight of the evening. Antonio went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to the entire experience. If you're looking for a place with exceptional food and top-notch service, I highly recommend it!!

Heard about Sticks n’ Sushi in Canary Wharf and it didn’t disappoint. The food is amazing and the variety of fish was great. We had the "as good as it gets" menu for lunch, and it was fantastic. The sushi rolls were fresh, and the skewers were tasty. We’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Amazing restaurant with great pricing for the quality of service and food. The drinks are phenomenal. Both my fiancée and I enjoyed this so much and will be the go to date spot ❤️

This place really captured our hearts! They are doing an absolutely amazing job of creating good memories for their guests! We were greeted with big smiles from the second we stepped in! All their servers pay so much attention to detail from filling your glass with water to even wiping the table between courses! Coming from a hospitality background, this goes a very long way! We had a little chat with the GM whose name was Martyn I believe and you could feel the passion in his voice and the love with thich he dos his job! Unfortunately, we did not get the name of our server, but he told us he didn't start working there long and, despite that, he did an absolutely amazing job!

Food was amazing and high-end, the service was a bit slow because it was busy and I was told at the entrance that I could only stay for 2 hrs. Other than that the atmosphere was great and very fancy

O sushi was simply spectacular, with fresh ingredients and incredible flavor. The service was excellent from start to finish. Without a doubt, I would go back a thousand times!

Superb food, cocktails and staff. Whilst it felt like we had cheated on the one in Covent Gardens the Docklands restaurant was superb. They aren't the cheapest but you certainly get what you pay for and more. The beef carpaccio was sublime whilst the sashimi set dish had a number of delicate masterpieces. We tried a few of the house cocktails as they were all excellent. They are very kid friendly even in the evening. A must visit if you like sushi and you are in Canary Wharf.

I visited Sticks’n’Sushi for a business lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The service was attentive and professional from start to finish, making us feel well taken care of without being intrusive. The food was absolutely amazing, fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, creating the perfect setting for both conversation and enjoying the meal. Overall, a fantastic experience that I would highly recommend for both business and personal occasions.

Honestly one of the best sushi spots in London! The food is super fresh, everything looks amazing, and the staff are so friendly. Love the vibe at Sticks’n’Sushi Canary Wharf — can’t wait to go back! 🍣

Incredible… firstly the food is amazing; such an array of flavours with plenty to choose from! The service is great with lovely stafff who want to make sure you have the best dining experience! A special shout-out to the lovely manager Karolina; the way she takes care of her customers is unmatched. So attentive and such a lovely energy. The restaurant itself is my favourite out of all the branches I’ve been to, due to being in beautiful Canary Wharf, a very ambient atmosphere and a comfortable dining set-up. There’s also some music which offers more of an atmosphere! It’s safe to say I’m coming back…. ❤️

Absolutely delicious sushi, a wonderful atmosphere and excellent service! Special thanks to our waitress, Jagoda K. — she was fantastic. My mum and brother were visiting London, and the restaurant surprised us with a lovely complimentary chocolate ice cream with the message “Welcome to London”, which made the experience even more special. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Food and service was fantastic. Served by the awesome Sruthi who was amazing with time and keeping us well fed and taken care of. She gave us some great suggestions and we were really happy with what we ordered. It was our second time here and this time was just as good as the last. Music was a little loud but made sense with the time of night. Overall a great experience. We will definitely be back.

This Japanese restaurant is great! Much greater than the name would imply. You could be forgiven for thinking it was a low end Takeaway sushi joint. Not so. The food is delicious and presented as works of art. The menu selections, especially the sharing plates, are very well thought out. I dined here both arriving and departing London, a week apart. it’s as good as anything you would find in California. I have dined at other places in London that call themselves Sushi, but they don’t compare. So if you’re looking for a nice And authentic sushi experience at Canary Wharf, definitely check them out. They’re also very forgiving if you have a lot of luggage with you.

Went there with my teenage daughter for my birthday, we tried Salmon and friends platter and Robust set. For 2 of us it was enough to make us full. Food was absolutely delicious, my favourite were beef tatami, sesame chicken wings, fried broccoli and all sushi! Even we were full, we decided to try dessert too- chocolate brownie with ice cream is highly recommended. As a surprise we got Happy Birthday plate with ice cream, which was a really nice touch! Waitress who took our order was smiling , polite and very professional. After that we were served by another girl, who was just as great as a first one- always with a smile! All in all we had amazing experience, and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Absolutely loved it. Would go again. Great sushi - favourite was the ebi bites. To die for. The New York subway was very tasty also. Only thing I wish I hadn’t ordered which I did was the wagyu skewers. Very bland and not very tasty. But overall everything was amazing and great quick service.

The food was fantastic fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was better than the last. The quality of the sushi was exceptional, and you could really see the attention to detail. The atmosphere was stylish and cozy at the same time, perfect for a special evening. I would especially like to mention our waiter ARTUR He was incredibly polite, friendly, and professional, and he made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. His service was outstanding, and he was happy to explain the menu and recommend dishes to us. People like him truly make a difference and elevate the whole dining experience. I will definitely be visiting again and highly recommend it!

Had an amazing experience at Sticks’n’Sushi last night. The food was absolutely lovely—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. What really made the visit special was the service from the pair of twins who looked after us. They were warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome from start to finish. Great vibes, great service, and fantastic food. Will definitely be back!

What a lovely restaurant! Everything—the staff, the food—was perfect. Thanks to Leon for his excellent hospitality and service. The food was absolutely delicious. As a sushi lover, these are some of the best sushi I've ever had. I highly recommend it 💯.

Had an incredible meal here with a friend last night. The staff member was diligent when taking our allergies which we appreciated! We ordered the truffle cauliflower app, sushi, shishitos, Argentinian shrimp skewers, black sesame crème brûlée and the special Wimbledon dessert. Everything was divine and plenty of food for 2 of us. Amazing service and food and they played great tunes!

Me and 2 friends descended onto canary wharf to visit a favourite. I generally love buying the platters, my 2 friends done We had a craving for sushi so when we saw the giant sushi platter for 4, we were hungry so we ordered it for 3 We also chose some small starters which included a tartar, cauliflower with black sesame and korean chicken The food is every bit as good as it looks and actually for £75 a head it was just great. Going out has got more expensive. Going out less often but making it a bit more special is what counts. This was just wonderful. Give this a go

I’ve heard of this place & see it pop up on Delivery apps, so we decided to give it a go. I tell you what, we were delightful surprised. You get little lemongrass perfumed hot towels (what a fantastic little touch). The menus have images of the food which makes it so much easier to order. Our waiter was very attentive & helpful. She was very knowledgeable about the menu. The food, wow, what flavours & presentation. Honestly I was full but I wanted to order more. Everything on that menu is BANGING. You must try.

An interesting, yet exciting combination of Japanese and Danish cuisines - overall, we were satisfied with the experience at S’n’S Canary Wharf. Decent price to value ratio, good service, and tasty rolls. The Volcano with matcha desert is definitely worth trying as well - by registering in their app, your first portion is free. The inside area is quite hot and loud though, especially on weekends, whilst the number of tables outside the venue is limited.

One of the best Stick and Sushi branches is the one in Canary Wharf. I love the atmosphere day and night. You can never go wrong with any dish that you order. Staff are cheerful, helpful and welcoming.

Really good place for lunch or dinner. It makes for an expensive lunch, but it's worth it for the right occasion. Was at the 2nd table seated after opening, but didn't order until restaurant was 1/2 full because there was a staff briefing meeting. So service wasn't ideal. The food was fresh, their salads are huge. In hindsight when sharing a "Maki Maki" there's no need for an extra' Salad '. All in all, great dining and great food.

I’ll always be a fan of Sticks’n’Sushi, and I’m slowly ticking off visiting each spot in London. This location is wonderful - and the service is exceptional, as always. The menu is brilliant with something for everyone.

We had very fresh & wonderful sushi platters, great miso soup and yummy crab croquettes. Despite being very busy even mid week, service was quick and a table was quickly found for us, as a party of four.

Brilliant ambience. Had an excellent birthday dinner here! Staff were extremely attentive and lovely, particularly Rachel- an absolute credit to the team. Went above and beyond to make me feel super special on this day. Food and drinks came relatively quickly and tasted delicious. Will definitely be coming back here!

Atmosphere Buzzing but relaxed. Chic Canteen style layout. Good place to take a date. Food Menu is extensive so take some time to familiarise yourself with the layout. Rewarding dining experience. You order your food, it arrives, you eat and enjoy every last bite. Food prepared to perfection. It's not cheap but you can fill up on cheap sides. The Miso soup and rice options were very competitively priced. Great cocktails. Service Efficient and friendly. 9/10 would recommend

Overall it was a great experience. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable, the food tasted amazing, and there wasn't much of a wait either for the food. The atmosphere and aesthetic are great, it's not a surprise that it's very popular, it can be difficult to get a table so recommend booking ahead.

I regularly dine here, Fantastic meal only made better by the service. The staff were very friendly, capable and informative. Was served by both brothers Long and Lan on separate occasions and always left extra happy. Moneys worth

Amazing team working there It was a busy night during the Canary Wharf Winter lights event, but that didn’t take away from the quality of service we received. The food itself, absolutely spoiled for choice but the sushi we decided on was sublime and great value in my opinion. Will definitely return

Absolutely fantastic experience! The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented, but what truly made the night special was the outstanding service from Phi Long. He was an amazing waiter—friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. He gave great recommendations and made us feel genuinely welcomed. Thanks to Phi Long and the whole team, this was a top-tier dining experience. Highly recommend this sushi restaurant!

Always amazing food, my faves hit the spot, my only concern is it felt they were rushing us out as they kept interrupting me as I was talking to my friend and I would forget what I was talking about. It happened more than once. Maybe it's because we had no reservations so we were saying at the high table by the counter but seriously, let us have a moment, the food here is great to be enjoyed and savoured, and atmosphere top but not sure the service was the best when they kept interrupting a conversation, just wait for a pause or a lull u know?

T
Tamia Johnson Paul

Wouldn’t come back for the sticks but the sushi was very nice. However, I see that choosing the valentines menu also meant you had to make your own sushi which I’m not entirely sure I was too happy with But our service experience was great! Aaron was a real pleasure and made our anniversary very nice with fast service, friendly conversation and gave us a surprise anniversary treat also which we really appreciated! He’s a real credit to the team Thank you

It’s a solid 4 stars for this place. Service was great and food delicious. The ambience could be better all the curtains I didn’t really understand tbh, but apart from that I really enjoyed it! Would gp back.

Great food to celebrate my son's 8th birthday and he is mad about sushi 🍣.

The place really fell off. The music was too loud the service staff didn’t really fill the water. They had to be called in every time. The food was a weak 6/10. Maybe we just came in an off night but the place fells very different that it did a few months ago.

Environment is nice, staffs are very helpful and professional. However, the food is not worth throwing money. Cost £50/pp The food is not as like as in the brochure. Little portion. Not even feeling full. Sushi not wrap very well. The worst is the skewers. Tasted like microwaved frozen meat. Not fresh at all.

バナナ

I used to come here as a special treat and it was one of my favourite restaurants, but this time everything changed and there was no value for money. Firstly, I don’t mind the menu change but if you’re going to write “we wanna be better hosts than most” on the cover and proceed to have bad service, for example giving customers half warm half cold towels using a pair of disposable wooden chopsticks, serving food as if you’re dumping it for pigs to eat and introducing the dishes with no eye contact and speaking quickly as if you want to leave as soon as possible, you might as well remove that text from the cover of the menu. Some staff were trying a little more than others but in general there was a very glum mood among them and we hadn’t seen any of them smile, just rushing around the restaurant carrying boxes and trays of dirty dishes. We ordered “As good as it gets” for two people. The tuna tartare was delicious and worked well with the cracker, and provided a much needed sweet break from the other two fish dishes (shake tataki and hiramasa kataifi I believe) which were drowning in salty and sour ponzu. The ebi bites were as good as before, and I enjoyed the texture of the hotate kataifi croquettes. The grilled edamame with soy sauce was an interesting change but the pieces at the bottom of the bowl begin to be too much with the rest of the intense, savoury dishes rather than providing a refreshing feeling which the lemon and salt edamame from before would have, and some are so charred that they taste bitter. The temaki setto’s ingredients are all delicious and high quality, each ingredient bringing a different experience but the seaweed would overpower everything and all I could get was the faint texture of the lobster and wagyu - which should’ve been the star of the dish, rather than the seaweed. It really isn’t the best use of such high quality ingredients. And finally to end it all, the sushi roll looked as if it came from itsu and was worth 3 quid. The salmon seemed dry and plasticky and the shape of the roll was… not something I’d expect for a meal that’s 58 pounds per person. The cod and scallop skewers looked pretty and I had high hopes but instead they were burnt, overcooked and soooo over salted. I felt bad for both sea creatures which died for the dish. The black parts were bitter rather than crispy, and neither was buttery and soft but rather dry and flaky. You would have to pay me to take another bite of it. Of all the dishes to end the meal with, the skewers and sushi were not it. I was so relieved I ordered one of the meals with the least sushi rolls. Unless the chef stops using up all the salt in the sea and overcooking the high quality ingredients, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

I have been a loyal fan of Sticks’n’Sushi for years, having visited various locations over 10+ times. Usually, the experience is flawless, but my recent dinner at the Canary Wharf branch was disappointing due to one specific staff member. While the rest of the team was professional and welcoming, one server (wearing a "JA" shirt) created a very unappetizing atmosphere. He was carrying large bin bags directly past tables where people were eating, which felt quite unhygienic. To make matters worse, when he brought water to our table, he literally threw the bottle down. He appeared frustrated and angry throughout the service. I love this brand, but this level of service really let the Canary Wharf location down.

e
eeshita pande

Long time local visiting 1-2x every month. The service quality has gone downhill. Had dinner here last night and the waitress initially got the same wine even though we ordered 2 different wines, they did not collect the hand towels for the entire meal, didn’t wipe the table once during the meal, and just generally really disappointed on service quality. Food is fantastic as always.

Me and my husband we been many many times sushi and stick we went out yesterday to celebrate his birthday. I ordered all the food is VEGETARIAN and FISH and make sure for that and confirm that 100% is no meet .one of the main dishes have raw beef and no one tell us because we don’t eat meet I was confused I see the colour and I asked the waiter Lyon who served us it was very kind and professional and helpful he said yes it is meet .he take the plate I ask can you please just remove the beef and you can replaced it for any tuna or however just no meet . He took the plate, the worst thing was the way the manager her name NADIA she is a long blond hair I never ever see rude like this the way how she talk to the customer (us) who thinks she owns the place the why how she treated us unacceptable unbelievable, The way how she bring same plate and she said if you want to remove the beef OR you exchanged you have to PAY FOR IT otherwise I can put tuna I will see how many gram and I se how mush I will charge you ( I DONE MINE TO PAY FOR IT OR EVENT I NEW ONE )I was CHOKED and all this conversation she was shouting , and the table around looking at her and all this On MY HUSBAND BIRTHDAY NIGHT SHE DESTROYED OUR NIGHT . Such poor service that shame for lovely a place like this having people unprofessional and unqualified.

Visit on Friday, 28th November. I was really excited to visit Sticks n’ Sushi canary wharf because my partner is a regular here, but unfortunately this visit was quite disappointing. When we arrived there was massive confusion at the door. There was no host at first, and when someone finally did appear, we still had to wait quite a while because she kept seating someone and then disappearing without returning to update us. It all felt very unorganised. When we finally got our table, things didn’t improve much. It was extremely difficult to get anyone’s attention as every member of staff looked incredibly busy and overwhelmed. Me and my partner felt completely unattended, and it honestly made us feel a bit unwanted. We came for the full experience, but due to what seemed like serious understaffing, that just didn’t happen. From our table we could clearly see the area where the food was being delivered. There were only two waitress running all the food, and while they were doing their absolute best, we could also see dishes piling up waiting to be taken out. Because of that, we ended up receiving some of our food cold, but to be honest we didn’t say anything, as the staff genuinely looked exhausted and we felt sorry for them. The food itself tasted amazing as usual, unfortunately can’t say the same of the service.

K
Keef Winter

Sticks N Sushi charged me £40 for not even a stick or a sushi - we faced major congestion en route with multiple accidents on road and called 10min before the reservation saying we would not make it. The host replied on the phone saying it was fine and that they would replace the cover on the table. I have since been charged £40. The onsite manager Nadia claims that even though she could overturn it she will not. I think life is hard enough without an oversubscribed restaurant taking £40 from punters who didn’t even eat there. Will avoid any stick or sushi in future!
