We had a great experience. We are pretty satisfied with the little details of the service starting with the towels in the beginning and the hand cream in the restrooms. When it comes to the food, what can I say - great taste! Probably the best sushi I have ever eaten. Not to mention the relatively low prices! The service and the atmosphere were also amazing. We felt welcomed and appreciated. The best restaurant I’ve been to so far!
had a solo lunch at Sticks’n’Sushi and absolutely loved it. The sushi was fresh, vibrant, and beautifully arranged—each bite was full of flavor. I especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made it a great place to unwind alone with a glass of wine. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing. It felt like a small treat-yourself moment, and I’ll definitely be back.
Five stars all around for amazing food and great service. You are attended immediately upon arrival. The menu is clear with pictures for reference and their appetizers especially were an unexpected treat. Lastly, they have fantastic cocktails! I strongly recommend the fried crab croquettes, beef tataki, hell's kitchen roll and the goma for dessert. They do some mystical stuff with their shrimp to reach god like crunchiness, so huge plus for this
Visited Sticks and Sushi for lunch, the staff were wonderful and so friendly, I've only been to the bigger locations - this was perfect I sat opposite the chefs and was able to see some lovely sushi being made. The chirashi bowl was the nicest sushi bowl I've ever seen and eaten - see the photos. The Karrage Chicken just felt apart in my mouth. Best lunch I've had for a while.
An absolute pleasure of a dining experience. Went in with my 3 week old daughter and the team were so accommodating to our needs. The food was outstanding and the service equally matched. Can't speak any higher of the overall experience we were given. Highly recommended and desperately needed on Kings Road.
I’ve been to a few branches and feel like you can never go wrong with sticks n sushi. I went for dinner and walked in with no reservations. I asked for fresh lemonade, and they even catered it to my taste buds, gave me options of bitter or sweet. This place is always a safe option when craving some sushi!
Had my doubts but this place actually delivered! The sushi was tasty! The service is on point.. everybody is extremely attentive and things are very well organized.. especially as this location churns through a LOT of people The food came out within minutes of us ordering (very impressive) and was really tasty Highly recommend grabbing one of their bowls.. the rolls were all on point too
First time at Sticks’n’Sushi on King’s Road and wow… what a treat! Lina was our sushi guru, charming, full of smart recommendations. We asked for dishes without alcohol and she nailed it. The food? Next level. Fresh, beautifully presented and full of flavour, proper fine dining but without the stiff vibe. Service was flawless too; every single member of the team was warm and on point. If you love sushi, stop scrolling and just book a table. We’re already planning our next visit!
Amazing food and service! If you don’t wanna feel heavy after a good meal, do try Sticks’n’Sushi. Waitress that served us was really nice and did wish us a happy Eid. Vigilante and friendly. Just a little note that if there’s a small area that can be made for people who want to pray, it would be great but everything else was amazing!
An incredible dining experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious. A huge thank you to Tina and Jordan for their outstanding service, they were so attentive and grateful throughout our meal. They even recommended the most amazing desserts that were the perfect end to our night. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful meal at Sticks’n’Sushi Chelsea. From the moment we walked in until we left, the service was outstanding. Sarah, who looked after us, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcome. The food was fresh, hot, and served very quickly, with plates cleared promptly and staff always checking if we needed anything. Everyone was smiley and professional, which made the experience even better. As a lovely surprise, they also brought us a beautiful birthday dessert with a candle, which really made my day. My husband and I always enjoy coming here, but this visit was extra special. Truly a 5-star experience — if I could give more stars, I would! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟
I had a genuinely excellent experience at Sticks’n’Sushi today. The atmosphere is calm, beautifully designed, and feels effortlessly premium without being pretentious. The service was polite and attentive, even though the front-of-house team seemed a bit slow at times. The food was outstanding. Fresh, clean flavours, beautifully presented dishes, and a level of consistency that’s rare. The edamame with spicy miso, the bimi tempura, and the sushi selections were all top quality. Everything tasted as good as it looked. A great spot for a quiet meal, a business meeting, or simply enjoying high-quality Japanese-Danish fusion. I’ll definitely return.
A very minimalistic but cosy Japanese with a Norwegian twist restaurant on the Kings road in Chelsea.. interesting and mouth watering menu with so much choice either dining alone for a quick bite during shopping or dinner with friends.. something for everyone..eat at the bar seeing everything being prepared or on one of the art deco sofas watching the world go by through large glass windows Crisp professional service being attentive but not intrusive by friendly staff...loved it definitely a 10 and definitely a return visit to explore more 👍⭐
No exaggeration to say this was some of the best food I've ever eaten. My dad and I came in here on a whim to escape from the rain, and ordered the "Perfect Day" set menu. Every single thing on it was fantastic, but the highlight was the buta yaki pork sticks. Dad had wine, I had a lovely fresh lemonade that wasn't too sweet and went perfectly with my food. Despite us looking like drowned rats, the staff was very accommodating, and Alessandro really looked after us. I can't wait to go back!
Delicious sushi and good service. Must try. Great starters and always try the plum wine. It’s delicious. The area is vibrant and wonderful people around. Great location. Nice interior and atmosphere.
Such a nice restaurant! I’ve been to many sticks and sushi and it is always amazing!
Great little place on the Kings Road. Spoiled for choice, the food was great, service professional and all very well priced. If your salmon lover you must try the Salmon Shake Tataki its simply the best thing on the menu, amazing!
All ingredients were fresh and tasty.
Excellent Evening tonight. Served by Tim who was incredibly attentive and even went to the extra effort of putting a candle onto a desert for my friend. Thanks so much Food was good, I would highly recommend the black cod sticks and ebi roll.
One of the best sushi places in the city that comes with a great service. We loved the shared platters and salad bowl was delicious. Our little one really enjoyed his bento box that had delicious choices of sticks.. and sushi. We were delighted to hear that they have sushi classes for all ages and they cater for events also. Overall a bit pricey but one to enjoy on those special occasions we think.
Great place to eat with lots of seating downstairs and upstairs. Staff were very attentive and there wasn't a long wait on the food. Everything we had was delicious, in particular the karage chicken and Wagyu stick *chefs kiss*. Definitely recommend although we did spend £120 between 2 adults 🫠
I am not a sushi lover but... this place was excellent. The food was excellent, the service was fast and professional. The decor of the place was great. So overall I really enjoyed it. I have had sushi before and never thought much of it, however here it was tasty! Recommended.
Love Sticks'n' sushi! Love, love, love it! Great sushi at reasonable prices. This Sloane Square suite is a welcome addition to the chain. Just popped in for a quick bite. Cost: what I would expect to pay for good sushi; we had a beer, glass of wine and the Duck & Friends platter. Came to £34 ex service. Not bad. Loved the atmosphere, the decor and the service. Will definitely come back.
Delicious food. Sat on the high chairs and could see the chef's preparing the food. Bit noisy on a Friday night. Good service. I enjoyed the wagu, black cod sticks. The sushi is good but the other things on the menu are better to try. I would go again.
The best place to have Sushi. We started with the Gokai Warm Sake which was the right drink to warm our appetite. followed with Truffle Cauliflower ebi bites. The Crispy Ebony Sushi roll was to die for, but the Hirmasa Kama Yellow tail fish was the star of the show. Evridiki L served us to make us comfortable and was very warm and helpful with the menu.
Had the beef tetaki, whisky misosour and mini makimaki and was absolutely delicious. Girl with red hair served me with a nice smile and made my experience memorable. Would recommend to family and freinds and for sure come back
This restaurant is amazing. I’ve dined her many times for dinner and lunch. The service is amazing, everyone is so polite. The food is incredible, so many great options for good prices in an ideal location. Would 100% recommend this restaurant for everyone.
Visited with a good friend yesterday and we were so impressed with the service. The team was so attentive and genuinely interested in our experience. The food and service were top notch - we will be coming back.
Amazing food, it's really good sushi with lots of fancy varieties. It can be a bit loud inside the dining room though. We ordered a set menu as otherwise we would have been overwhelmed by the sheer amount of choices. Service was nice and fast but not particularly friendly. Certainly not rude, just a bit robotic and not what you would expect at this price point.
My favourite place I’ve been in London. It has some really great high quality sushi as well as kebabs that are grilled to perfection. I got 2 gyu beef kebabs (sticks) and a mushroom kebab. They tasted pretty good, nothing crazy but it was still good. The sushi was better, I got a crab sushi and a tempura sushi with fish on top. See pic for more deets. It was really good. For starters, we got the broccoli and the sauce for the broccoli is so incredible!!! I highly recommend the broccoli as a starter. Edamame was great too. The lemonade here is AMAZING! Sweet and sour, perfectly refreshing. Cocktails were good except one of them was straight up tequila and a bit much for us (the one with the lettuce leaf, which was also interesting). Expect higher prices, but somewhat worth it. Beautiful interior too. Didn’t expect them to clear my table as I was eating lol but it’s okay I guess. They also put us at the table at the veryyyyyy back even though there were so many empty tables before the back. Not sure why they did that and would’ve preferred not to be put in the back bc I wanted to see the decor bu
A great place to enjoy freshly prepared Sushi and good service and superb location. Remember it’s an open service concept so order food gradually as arrives as made and not as starter, main etc. Upstairs seating is great as away from hustle and bustle street level.
Good enough place for a weekday evening, especially because of the ambiance. The downstairs area is much better than upstairs, where you get to enjoy high seats and views of the bar and kings road. The sushi is nice but I'd say the appetisers are maybe better. The broccoli starter was extremely delicious! Overall it's slightly overpriced for what it is but it's nice for the atmosphere and vibe once in a while.
It is a good sushi place, but I don’t think it has anything more than any other decent Japanese restaurant. You can find the same quality for a better price at a local sushi restaurant. Otherwise staff is lovely, we were paid extra for something we hadn’t ordered and they refunded us very promptly. This is a nice place to have lunch with friends, but wouldn’t fit a special occasion.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, and even as someone who isn’t a big sushi lover, I found plenty of dishes to enjoy. A huge thanks to Dylan for his professional and charming service. Great atmosphere, lovely staff, and a place I’ll happily return to.
Beautiful setting and a well thought menu. Food was mediocre. Could have done better. Rice was disappointing. It was hard and unlike fluffy Japanese sushi rice. Staffs were friendly and very helpful. They were quick to respond and changed it but came back tasting the same. I guess it came from the same pot. It may be just one off. They didn’t get to where they are overnight. Oh yes the cauliflower was awesome.
Visited the Chelsea branch yesterday. Have visited a few times but I think yesterday was the worst visit. We booked a table for late evening (being seated at 8:30pm). There were a few options available for seating but not too little to make it seem that the place wasn’t busy! We ordered food and depending on what the the server had suggested. The service I would say was a little cold. That was just the start of it. After waiting a long time for our food and seeing the tables next to us food arriving before us even though they ordered after us, the food arrived and there were mistakes with what we had ordered. Nonetheless the manager was able to sort this out and have our actual orders sent out. Toward the end of the meal we wanted to order another round of the cocktails - the yuzu one is delicious by the way! The waitress was super rude when I had ordered this and ultimately we ended up not ordering an extra round and cutting our meal short there. All in all the food was good (when it arrived) but the awful service won’t have me running back again at any point. To management: please have a look into training your servers at a higher standard.
A very average experience. The food was good but nothing special. Some rolls were nice others not so great. Same for the sticks. The service was friendly and ok. The restaurant on the ground floor was very hot for all the dinner. We had to ask a few times to refill the water while other tables had a jug instead.
Overall, it was a good experience with a lot of options available, but the service was “meh”. No one checked on us. We ordered one dish without mushrooms as I have a small reaction if I eat them, and it arrived with them (we needed to send them back). The dessert arrived with a hair (he didn’t even put the plate down when I realised straight away), and he didn’t even apologise. When we asked to remove the service, then the manager apologised.
Way to expensive for the quality of the food. It is good sushi but nothing amazing. They even charged us for "still water" in a normal jar that was totally tap water. Best thing the miso soup (which was funnily enough £3). They took for ever to charge us as well. Don't think we will repeat!
Horrible experience!! It was the worst experience of my life I want into the restaurant. I ordered eight piece of sushi and they brought back eight portions of the sushi and they didn’t own up to the mistake and made me play over £200 for it. If you ever come to London , please don’t come here!!!!They were extremely rude and un understanding. I do not recommend this place at all.
The food was mediocre but the service was terrible. I went in a group of 4 and we had the worst experience with the manager in september. My friend, whose local and a frequent visitor, ordered his usual 8 slices of salmon sashimi, the waiter though reluctant, did not say anything other than to clarify our order, we again specified “eight SLICES”. Unexpectedly, our order came and our waiter had brought 8 PORTIONS of salmon sashimi (equating to roughly £80). In response, we immediately asked our waiter to take back the sushi as we did not order 8 portions and she said “no you said 8”and left. In shock and disbelief, we asked the waiter to come back and for her to bring us her manager, as it was taking a while, my friend starting eating his sushi and when the manager returned my friend said “ Sorry to disturb but we had ordered 8 slices not 8 portions, of course since I ate from this plate I will pay for it but not only did I not order or touch that plate, I immediately asked for it to be sent back and your waiter did absolutely nothing and rudely dismissed us.” The manager relied saying “I do not care you have to pay for that, my colleague clarified three times saying “8?” “8?” “8?”. At this point we were in shock because is she serious? We replied “Yeah thats the thing though, theres a difference between 8 slices and 8 portions, your inability to differentiate between the two is not our fault.” The manager then replied rudely saying “Well what makes you think you can order that”, even though my friend goes here every week and orders the same thing each time. Anyways we specify that we order this each time and that we will not be paying for it and she basically told us if we didnt pay she’d call the police. At that point we were just absolutely fed up and we just paid an left. Absolutely horrible experience.
We ate lunch here today as a large family. The food now is below average. The mains were served almost cold, which we complained about. They removed them from the bill, which was agreeable however they tried to then charge Us 40 pounds for a cancellation fee as we had booked for 12 and we were 10 our bill was quite large so we were Offended eventually they took off the cancellation fee. It took some complaining and they responded with a poor attitude unfortunately I won’t be eating here again.
Booked this place for a friend’s leaving party (10 people) and spent around £1,200, only to be treated like an inconvenience. We were refused the Code App 30% discount purely because we had pre-booked for more than 4 people. When we asked for clarification, the explanation was simply “we don’t do it for pre-booked parties over 4” — no reasoning, no transparency, no flexibility. We were also told that had we walked in instead of booking ahead, the discount would have been accepted. An illogical policy that actively punishes planning, made even harder to justify by the fact that the upstairs area was completely empty. This would not have been handled this way at other Sticks’n’Sushi locations. Disappointing, rigid, and completely out of step with the brand.
