I have been to many fancy restaurants in my years but this is the BEST restaurant I have ever been to!! Everything I ate was so unique and delightful. The best money I have ever spent!

Maison Blanche is a French fine dining restaurant, The outside of the restaurant doesn't look very attractive but inside they did a really nice decoration job. The Menu is really good and we wnjoyed our dinner there. We would like the menu to change more often so we can go more... Thanks !

One of the most incredible culinary experiences available in the area. Atmosphere of the restaurant was warm and inviting. The food was exceptional, the service was terrific, and the wine list was phenomenal.

Been coming here for years. They opened my palate about French cuisine and French wine. From Bordeaux to Burgundy, they got it all. Ambiance and service are amazing, so are the food and drinks! Highly recommend for someone who is looking for gourmet food in Florida!

What an unexpected surprise gourmet dining experience! Situated in a nondescript motel along the Main strip on Longboat Key, this restaurant came highly recommended by a friend. Looks like those who know, really know that this is a neighbourhood gem. Note: The menu is only Pre-fixe at $70 PP. No a la cart option from what I saw around us. Excellent service, beautiful decor, generous portions and a true fine dining experience, complete with delicious flavors and beautiful plating. We'll definitely be back!

I’ve seen all the restaurants up and down Sarasota and Bradenton. For me this is the best value for money spot by far. The service, ambiance and food is on a different level compared to other “high end” restaurants. They took a page out of European fine dining places and planted on longboat. I would highly recommend this place. (But no too highly otherwise I’ll never get a spot there again)!

I’ve been going here since I was maybe 5 years old, and I love it so much. Michelle is so amazing and I feel welcomed everytime I come. The food is spectacular and it’s so cozy!

I have to tell I was hesitating about some bad reviews here about MB restaurant. I wont extend myself but the food was definitely Divine. Service as well at the same hight. Ambient Classical music makes the perfect Balance. Overall you won't be dissapointed. Wine selection more than Vast. Concluting we'll be back again.

Maison Blanche in Longboat Key, Florida, is truly one of the nicest and most elegant dining experiences I've had. Despite its elegance, the restaurant has an inviting atmosphere. The food is simply amazing, with each dish offering a complex and delightful taste. One thing I particularly love about this place is their practice of offering samples of soup or small desserts, allowing you to savor the flavors before committing to a full serving. We celebrated my father-in-law's birthday at Maison Blanche and were pleasantly surprised to find out that the chef's wife, who is also the owner, was celebrating her birthday too. She is incredibly nice, very approachable, and always has a warm smile. Overall, Maison Blanche is a hidden gem, perfect for a lovely formal dinner with a few close people. I would highly recommend calling ahead for reservations to ensure a wonderful dining experience.

This is the best meal I have ever enjoyed! Every course was phenomenal and made me frustrated that I just found out about this place. I'll be back soon. The short rib was great, sea bass was amazing. Dessert 🥰Margaux wine! Everything was perfection, and the service was on point!

This is great for a legitimately nice dinner out; one of few places in the area that are a bit more upscale rather than "beach casual." The menu is prix fixe with three courses at a set price. Certain items and specials come with a supplemental upcharge. All the food we had was *perfectly* prepared. In particular, the octopus was excellent; it's hard to find a place that does it just right and the result is both tender and flavorful without being too chewy. Top-notch service with great people working here, and the location is relatively small and intimate. Good atmosphere. I for sure see coming back here again.

I’m a professional chef here in the Sarasota area and one of the best meals I have had in a very long time. Restaurant owners (Chef and his wife) are wonderful host. Restaurant decor is elegant and simple. Service was professional and polished. Food was absolutely amazing. The presentations were simple but elegant. This is not fu-fu food. It is simply great tasting food with a refined presentation and it’s extremely complex in the seasoning and preparation. The chef uses just the right amount of herbs and spices to keep you on your toes trying to figure out the exact flavor profile. 90.00 per person 3 course Pre-fixe menu. I would have paid more considering the quality of both food and service ( don’t tell anyone 🤣) If you want to impress someone and be able to have a conversation without being bothered or trying to find your server or wondering when your next course is coming out. This is the place. A truly amazing experience flawless service and amazing food. Thank you Chef for a great dining experience. ( And your lovely wife).

We are French, and every time we visit Maison Blanche, we feel like we are traveling back to France. The atmosphere, the service, the warm welcome, and the flavors of every dish are simply outstanding. Maison Blanche truly checks all the boxes. Bravo to the entire team , we look forward to coming back soon!

What a pleasant surprise. The outside doesn’t look like much but the inside is superb. The service is on point and the food is as well. Hot tip - the asparagus soup for the win!

Maison Blanche is my favorite restaurant in Florida. We live in St. Pete and travel over an hour each way to enjoy MB on special occasions or just for a terrific meal. The food and the service are exceptional and consistent. We dine all over the world and this place is truly special. Everything is great but we love the short ribs, mushroom ravioli, snapper, sea bass, chocolate soufflé and the ice creams.

We were on a quick get away to LBK from Atlanta. I love French restaurants! After a thorough google search I found Maison Blanche which was 1 mile from our condo. What a treasure!! Gorgeously decorated dining room with impeccable service and thoughtfully and skilled execution of the dishes offered. It was a true culinary experience. I started with the Frichasse Lobster appetizer which was comparable to an entre at most other restaurants. It never ceases to amaze me how light and delightful the cream butter sauce is fashioned by a true French chef. A skill I have never been able to master. It was a delicable delight! My husband chose the blue crab wrapped in avocado. Again it was quite large, fresh and beautiful! This restaurant is a true dining experience, so no rushing. Our next course, i chose the grilled sea bass on a bed of spinach, again with the most wonderful lemon butter garlic sauce! I highly recommend. My husband chose the baked grouper with potatoes. Also a light delicious sauce. For dessert I went with the chocolate souffle, one of my favorites. It was dense and light all at the same time and very chocolate served with rich cream. My husband got the apple tart- a French pastry fit for a king! We both loved it too. They ended to meal with a little chocolate truffle glazed with raspberry. Such a nice touch. Anyway, we have visited French restaurants all over the world and this little gem should not be missed! We met the chef/owner. They've been in business 23 years, so don't wait, lest he decides to retire. Also, all the wait staff is also French, such a wonderful cultural food experience!

Great overall for a special night, sophistication that is a hard to find living in Sarasota. Some dishes were unforgetable like the wild mushroom ravioli.

In retirement, I have had some fun exercising my inner critic -and wanted to make sure I weighed in on Maison Blanche. Only a few times in my dining out career(remember in retirement:) have I left the restaurant and opined out loud, "THIS WAS A PERFECT MEAL!"- not one thing could have been better. Kudos to this special family owned/operated by Michelin Chef Jose and his charming wife/partner Victoria. Glad we live close by!

We visited this restaurant for my birthday dinner while on a trip to Longboat Key. At first, I was a bit hesitant—it’s located on the ground floor of a motel, which we thought was odd. But the moment we walked in, everything changed. The service was exceptional from the start, and the food was both unique and absolutely delicious. Every course impressed us. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely return the next time we’re in Longboat Key!

This is truly a hidden gem on longboat key. The food is absolutely fabulous and so beautiful in presentation. The flavors of everything we're incredible. Our server was very attentive and pleasant. This is a must restaurant to try. We will definitely be returning.

It was a wonderful, elegant sophisticated dining experience all the way around. The room it simply elegant, tranquil and peaceful.

I thought the food was stellar and the service was top notch. Tomato confit was my favorite dish by far. Good prices for what I would consider to be Michelin level quality. Went on a slow night so it was nice and quiet and they accommodated my husband on his birthday very well, even included a free treat. We will be back!

You will be treated like family whether you are there for the first time, or a regular. Classy, old-world dining without being fussy. The food and atmosphere are outstanding, and prices are reasonable given the quality of the food and the level of service.

The food was very good. The service was good. My wife speaks fluent French and was able to communicate in French, that was nice for her. We were not greeted when we walked in, and no one was there. We thought there was a private party but in fact it was the restaurant. Kind of small but fine. The website did not match the menu. We ended up having a fixed three-course meal That's surprised us a bit. Also, they don't serve alcohol. It's only a wine bar which I really wanted a martini. Overall it was a good experience

Atmosphere is brightly lit and very close seating. No privacy and hard to have intimate conversation. The food however was fantastic, the pictures speak for themselves. Service was also great.

I've eaten in many a Michelin restaurant and this is not one of them. My wife had the lobster appetizer and I had the mushroom ravioli which were delicious. So ended the fine dinning experience. Our short ribs had a sauce that was cloyingly sweet and had an off putting taste, not to mention that the rib was luke warm. My wife had ice cream for desert it was fine (guess it's hard to drop the ball on that) I had the chocolate soufflé which was served in a coffee cup... seriously! Additionally, the interior of the soufflé was watery and when I brought this to the attention of the server he said; "This is how it's prepared here somewhat undercooked." The chef (or more aptly a cook) peeked out from the kitchen but never came to the table. Needless to say we won't be returning. I will also advise the concierge at The St. Regis of this awful dining experience. I'm feeling rather generous tonight so I'll give them two stars.

I’ve read numerous “outstanding” reviews of this restaurant but after my first experience there for my birthday just a couple of weeks ago, I truly didn’t find anything exceptional about the experience. The decor was bland and average at best. They don’t have a liquor license so forget having a cocktail! Although it’s located directly on the Gulf of Mexico you couldn’t tell that from inside being surrounded by white curtains. The prix fixe meal choices were limited and not that inspiring at $85.00 per person with the most desirable items offered at a ridiculous “up charge”. The food was good but not exceptional. The service was also good but our waiter was juggling 4+ tables. In summary, for the $300+ cost per couple for an anticipated “top of the town” dinner…unfortunately Maison Blanche missed the mark for us.

I am very sad to have to write this review. We've been regular visitors of Maison Blanche for many years and we've always regarded it as a special restaurant with delicious food and excellent service. We went there last night to celebrate my wife's birthday and we were so disappointed at the quality of the food. The presentation was as professional as ever, and the service as well. But all our appetizers and main courses were so disappointing and without any flavor. We were very embarrassed because we had hyped the restaurant up so much to our friends, and the evening fell flat because of their disappointment.
