Opinions de Haidilao Hot Pot Los Angeles
Eataly, despite some flaws, is still an absolutely amazing hub if food is a passion for you. Yes, I wish the prices weren't as exorbitant. And I wish the place wasn't set up to be a hub for influencers. It feels a lot like a status symbol instead of a market. But, with that out of the way, it's an amazing market. There are tons of ingredients here that feel like a cooking show pantry. Truly a place where you can get hard to find, elevated ingredients. Snake River Farms meats, fresh fish, hundreds of imported cheeses, obscure produce and mushrooms, and imported goods from Italy (obviously): it truly is a pleasure to browse the offerings. Add on top of that 3 different restaurants and a few quick service cafes, and it's undeniably earned its reputation as a food culture hub.
EATALY is a fantastic destination for anyone who loves authentic Italian food and high-quality ingredients. The selection of fresh pasta, artisanal cheeses, cured meats, and imported olive oils is impressive, and everything feels premium and thoughtfully curated. The produce and bakery sections are equally delightful, with plenty of unique items you won’t find in typical grocery stores. Prices can be on the higher side, but you’re paying for quality and specialty products. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and the overall atmosphere is vibrant and inviting. Whether you’re shopping for a special meal or just browsing for inspiration, EATALY is well worth a visit.
Eataly Century City is an absolute gem for anyone who loves Italian food, top-quality ingredients, or just a beautiful culinary experience. Whether you’re here to shop, dine, or just wander through the market, it delivers every time. The marketplace is incredibly well-stocked with authentic Italian products — fresh pasta, cheeses, imported olive oils, wines, and more. It’s a foodie paradise. The staff is knowledgeable and happy to help with recommendations or cooking tips, which adds to the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The restaurants inside are fantastic, too. Every dish feels thoughtfully made — from perfectly wood-fired pizzas to fresh pasta and seasonal specials. You can tell they prioritize fresh ingredients and traditional techniques. Even the espresso bar and bakery are worth a stop on their own. It’s clean, organized, and feels like a little escape to Italy right in the middle of LA. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite, doing gourmet grocery shopping, or planning a full dinner, Eataly Century City never disappoints.
It’s a wonderful spot for both grocery shopping and enjoying a meal. The market is spotless, with everything looking fresh. You’ll find every kind of pasta noodle, even fresh-made pasta prepared daily. We dined at Capri, the restaurant inside the market, and the service was outstanding. The food was absolutely excellent.
My first experience at Eataly was in Las Vegas; I was hooked and excited that there were other locations. The one Im rating in So Cal, Century City. While the service was awesome in the restaurant, I can't say the same for the gentlemen pouring wine in the store area; he was rude and off putting; absolutely no customer services skills. It was a turn-off. Had I not had to rush off to the airport, I would have complained to management. Other than that I enjoyed the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice (Terra).
We went here for my birthday and it was lovely, lots of options to suit our party. The food was very good but there was a small complaint about the calzone not having enough tomatoes 🤷🏻♀️
Eataly is such an amazing place! I’ve been to a few of their locations, including the one in LA and at Westfield Century City, and every visit is such a great experience. What I love most is how versatile it is — you can go grocery shopping for authentic Italian products, enjoy a sit-down meal at one of their restaurants, grab a quick slice of pizza or a freshly made sandwich, indulge in dessert, or even pick up fresh bread and home essentials all in one spot. The food is always delicious, from their pastas to their pastries, and everything feels fresh and authentic. I also love the ambience — it’s lively, yet welcoming, and there’s something really special about being able to enjoy a glass of wine while strolling through the marketplace. It’s the kind of place where you can easily spend hours exploring, tasting, and shopping. Eataly brings a little piece of Italy to the city, and I always leave happy (and full!). I go there all the time, and I recommend it 100%.
Great place if your looking for a good meal or shopping for Italian food items. The restaurant had amazing pasta and the dessert were perfect. My kids loved the Italian soda so we stopped at the shopping area to pick up a few more bottles.
Great spot for any occasion! The food is really yummy. The menu changes seasonally, and there are always fresh options for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Love bringing family and friends here! Wait staff has improved as well since last year. Highly recommend.
Can't really say enough about Eataly. The entire time is an experience. The quality of ingredients is better than 99% of local grocery stores. The employees are all very professional and provide the best experience possible. Groceries, sandwiches, deli, meat/fish, pastries, and some wonderful restaurants. I love the fresh pasta here.
I love this store and the restaurants inside — the vibe is amazing! • A huge wine selection with a wide variety of flavors and prices • High-quality fruits and vegetables • An impressive selection of cheeses • Five full rows dedicated to pasta, including vermicelli, macaroni, spaghetti, and more • Fresh butcher and seafood sections • A cozy café with a great atmosphere — the coffee isn’t my favorite, but the sweets are fantastic They also carry lots of unique and special items that are hard to find elsewhere!
Love the food, however the various hosts we've encountered can be rude and have forgotten to sign in our names on couple occasions Waitresses thus far have been on point/excellent!! MUST TRY: Prosciutto Bruschetta White truffle garlic bread * TRY the Jump Start & let me know what you think 🤔😉 *
Haidilao is a well-known hot pot restaurant famous for its excellent service and high-quality food. The staff are very friendly and attentive, often going above and beyond to make customers feel welcome. The soup bases are rich and flavorful, and there is a wide variety of fresh ingredients, including meat, seafood, and vegetables. One unique feature is the extra services, such as free snacks, sauces, and even entertainment while waiting. Although the prices are a bit higher than average, the overall experience makes it worth visiting. I would highly recommend Haidilao to anyone who enjoys hot pot.
I had an amazing experience at Haidilao! The service was truly outstanding from the moment we walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made us feel very welcomed. The food quality was excellent — fresh ingredients, rich flavors, and plenty of options to choose from. I especially loved how thoughtful the small details were, from the sauces to the overall dining atmosphere. Everything was well organized and enjoyable. This was more than just a meal; it was a great dining experience. I will definitely come back and highly recommend Haidilao to anyone who loves hot pot!
My friend and I first tried Haidilao and it quickly became our favorite restaurant in LA. Their service is always amazing and food is incredible. I love how we get to customize our own topping and sauces at their bar and also try a bunch of little complimentary snacks including fruits. I’ve been coming to this location several times now and they never disappoint. I’m also in love with their bbq flavored chips!! :)
I don’t usually write reviews, but this place deserves it. The food is absolutely incredible – truly the best in town. Every dish feels thoughtfully made and full of flavor. My favorite restaurant in town!! But what makes this restaurant truly special isn’t just the menu, it’s the people. Everyone who works here is kind, welcoming, and genuinely cares about creating a great experience. You walk in as a customer and leave feeling like part of a family. I can’t recommend it enough.
Haidilao absolutely lives up to the hype! The service is on another level—staff are friendly, attentive, and genuinely go out of their way to make the experience special. The broth options are flavorful (the tomato and spicy mala are my favorites), and the ingredient quality is top notch—everything tastes fresh and well-prepared. The little details really stand out: free snacks while waiting, fun dipping sauce bar, and even the famous noodle dance if you order hand-pulled noodles. It’s not just a meal, it feels like an experience. Prices are a bit higher than your typical hotpot spot, but the quality and service make it more than worth it. Perfect place for gatherings with friends or family. If you haven’t tried Haidilao yet, go hungry and be ready for one of the best hotpot experiences around!
Haidilao Culver City is hands-down one of the best hot pot experiences in LA! From the moment you walk in, the service is exceptional — warm, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. The staff makes you feel welcome and well taken care of throughout your entire meal. The food? Absolutely top-tier. Everything is fresh, high quality, and beautifully presented. The broth options are rich and flavorful (highly recommend the tomato and spicy duo!), and the dipping sauce bar is a dream for customizing to your taste. Meat, seafood, veggies, noodles — all perfect and replenished quickly if needed. The little touches make it extra special: complimentary snacks and drinks while you wait, fun robot servers, plastic covers for your phone, hair ties if you need them, and even a warm towel service. The attention to detail is next level. Perfect for group dinners, date nights, or just treating yourself to a cozy, interactive meal. Once you try Haidilao, you’ll understand the hype. This Culver City location is clean, stylish, and worth every penny.
Absolutely loved the soup base here — so flavorful and rich! The self-serve appetizer bar was also a great touch, and the snack station was super thoughtful. They even provided hair ties and aprons, which made the whole experience feel really well taken care of. The drinks were pretty good too. Overall, everything was fresh, and the dining experience was fantastic. Highly recommend!
This place is an EXPERIENCE. It’s always so much fun and SO busy. It’s QUITE expensive but very worth it if you like hot pot. The restaurant is so lively and exciting. There is a dancing bear show, robots that serve food and help waiters and waitresses, there’s music, a free sauce bar, and amazing and delicious food. The drinks are so fun and good. The food gets very expensive but the taste is phenomenal. I loveeee coming here so much!!!

Love the food here. The soup bases are amazing and they have variety of meat options. Also, great atmosphere.
The noodle guy was amazing and super fun! The private room was cool, and on our way out we saw an awesome panda and ninja guy!! The for and drinks were also great!!!
Eataly LA never disappoints. The pizza options are next-level — super fresh ingredients, crispy crust, and that perfect balance of chewy and flavorful. You can tell everything is made with care. The Margherita is a classic, but the seasonal pizzas are worth trying too. The small plates and hors d’oeuvres were awesome — light, flavorful, and perfect to share while hanging out. The bruschetta and cheeses were especially good paired with a glass of wine. The whole place has such a fun, energetic vibe — part restaurant, part market, and all-around great experience. The staff was friendly and knew their stuff, which made the meal even better. Definitely one of my favorite spots in LA for Italian food done right.
Visited Eataly in LA and had a nice overall experience. We ordered the meatballs, salmon, and a few pizzas. Everything tasted good and satisfying. The meatballs were flavorful, the salmon was well-cooked, and the pizzas hit the spot. Service was quick, and since some items are prepared ahead, they reheated the food for us efficiently without compromising too much on quality. It’s a convenient place if you want good Italian food fast, especially when dining with a group and everyone wants different options.
Food was delicious. Drinks were good and creative. I had lasagna. Others at my table ate the Calzone and pizzas. Everyone's food was delicious. The only issue was that they brought my lasagna and nothing else. I sent it back and asked them to keep it warm until my 3 guests received their food. That was almost 6 minutes later. While our waitress had apparently mentioned something about the timing when I ordered, I didn't hear it. Regardless, it's a restaurant's job to serve all guests at a table at the same time. If I wanted to eat by myself, I would have gone out by myself.
Just passing through but it feels smells and looks like money.very nice. Bathrooms have executive feel illustrious
Great place to visit, but not so good to dine at. Shopping > Wow….a really interesting Italian food store, lots of interesting food items, nice displays and lots of variety. Some items seem to be priced very reasonably and then you can pay a lot for seemingly very high quality items. Dining > The Pasta restaurant was nice, but the meal I had was way overpriced for the amount of food served. Pea/ricotta ravioli was $27 for maybe 10-12 ravioli, and the bowl it was served in was unnecessarily large for such a small amount of food. The Italian cola was pretty bad, cost $6 and tasted like cheap Pepsi. But the Tiramisu was fantastic, so good and was worth the $17. Recommended for browsing and shopping.
Food is good but not perfect. It’s an interesting experience to be in there and eat. Their lasagna is not interesting. Their pizza was good.
I give it 4 stars because they charge soup which is around $32 for two kinds of soup base. You open a hotpot place and charge for the soup base, it doesn’t make sense to me. I have been to many hotpot places and most of them didn’t charge for soup. They also charge the dipping sauce. Anyway, other than that foods are a bit pricey but they are good quality, soup is tasty, service is great and environment is good. I went there on a Friday night and the wait was 1.5 hours.
Definitely recommend. Great service and nice environment. Best dishes are the Golden Fish Maw & Chicken Soup Base 金汤花胶鸡汤底 and fresh cut beef
no wait for lunch on a Friday! Unfortunately, the $1.99/plate of angus beef short didn't apply because it was a public holiday weekend. \n\nService was a little spotty at first--eventually we wer…

My favorite soup base is sukiyaki( sweet flavor) I get ramen noodles. The watermelon juice is delicious. Love all the snacks.

The market itself is fantastic. I come often to buy ingredients for my own baking or cooking. They have great selection and the vibe is great! The restaurant tho… not the greatest. We ordered two pastas, and they were both way over cooked! i couldn’t lift a single noodle without them breaking apart and splattering everywhere. Felt smushed, almost like one giant glob. Had to stab for pieces, instead of lifting small portions to have a bite. Impossible to share. The sauce is decent, just overcooked noodles.
I love a good hot pot, and a friend recommended this spot after a day of shopping. When we walked in, it was super packed, so I was glad we had a reservation. While waiting, I appreciated the compl…
Love Eataly but struck out this morning at opening time. Sandwiches all looked great but was highly disappointed. The bread was chewy and lettuce was soggy, definitely was not made this morning. Chicken was greasy and fried pieces that didn't even have meat in it. The other sandwich was dripping in oil. Stomach full of disappointment and grease.
