Awesome Legit Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern Restaurant in the form of a Walk Up Window connected to a Gas Station. Chef Guy holding down this Not-So-Secret Secret Spot is an Older Egyptian Man who knows how to cook His Cultures Food. I came in the evening close to Closing Time just after 8pm and he was The Cook, Cashier and Food Prepper- Their Jack of All Trades. He doesn't speak much English but, has common sense and street smarts whit so, he knows how to communicate even though, there's a language barrier. NO TIP JAR but, Please Tip Well. I went with their Merguez Sandwich and it comes with Rice or Fries (I got Rice which had some onions and pickled turnips with a nice kick) and choice of it coming as a Sandwich or in a Gyro-Type Pita- which I went with. I also got a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Both were delicious and the Smoothie had a nice sweetness even though he didn't put much sweetener. I'd normally have went with a Kebab but, I didn't want to eat too much so late. Pretty HUGE Menu and rave reviews about this place so I'm definitely coming back to try more of their food. Restrooms inside the Gas Station which has a Mini-Mart. I didn't use it. Gas Station is updated and there's parking next to the Air/ Water Pump by the corner. Street Parking in the Residential Street behind, off to the side.
I had contacted Mohamed about an event we were holding in Malibu for 40 people. We wanted it to be a little nicer, and Mohamed was EXTREMELY helpful and accommodating. He offered to provide beautiful chafing dishes for all the food he provided, at no additional cost! The food delivery arrived right on time and the driver set everything up right away without me having to take my attention away from the event. The food was a huge hit with multiple guests coming up to me and asking the name of the caterer. Mohamed truly went above and beyond and I would use his services again and highly recommend Marsa Lounge for anyone who needs quality and reliable catering.
Amazing yummy food, taste delicious. Place a little hard to find and doesn’t look sexy but food is wonderful and friendly service. Thanks
Ordered online via ubereats , service was very quick . Ordered chicken shawarma , Food was excellent , perfect taste and was packed perfectly .
Delicious food, friendly staff. A piece of heaven, definitely recommended.

Delicious food, friendly staff. A piece of heaven, definitely recommended.
So delicious. We ordered via Uber eats and were pleasantly surprised how fantastic our meal was. We had the chicken kebab, grape leaves and Moroccan lentil soup was my favorite. Will 100% order again very soon.
I love this place so much! I eat here at least once a week, and everything is always amazing. I'm vegetarian, and my go-tos are: -falafel sandwich (wrap) -fries -lentil soup -rice -lemonade -watermelon lemonade Not all ay once, obviously...but omg everything is so good, I crave it constantly. Tonight I tried three new things, and WOW, they were just as delicious as everything else: -strawberry banana smoothie -two desserts I don't remember the name of (one was basmussa, and the other started with a k- both absolutely bangin') I reccomend Marsa to everyone I know. So good. (See my previous reviews, on yelp)
Best ever! The food is homemade, authentic, and DELICIOUS. The gentleman at the counter was very accommodating and went above and beyond. This was my first visit...and I WILL be back! Since the food is handmade on the spot plan for a little wait. It'll be worth your time.
Wow this just reinvigorated my love for food in LA. Visited this spot late at night with just one man in the kitchen making me a shwarma while listening to divine folk music. Shwarma is one of the most ubiquitous dishes in LA, but somehow this came out so uniquely delicious and singularly like his own cooking and heritage. I felt like he was sharing the flavor profiles their family has preserved over generations; it made the whole experience feel like so much more than a transaction. Can't wait to return for proper dishes. It's attached to a gas station and there's no dine-in. This is a genuine hole in the wall / diamond in the rough. The kind of place where you can expect complaints about service to basically mean the food is THAT GOOD. You know what they say, the most delicious spots get 3.5 ratings
I stopped by to fill up my water jug and noticed the chef preparing food. To my surprise the restaurant was still open at 11:30pm. So, I ordered a chicken shawarma plate to take home. I pumped some gas while I waited for my food. The food was delicious, and I'll definitely be coming back.

I planned to have dinner here with my friend but only to find they don’t have sitting area. The staff was kind to have me sit in their kitchen while waiting. I had a lamb shank tajine with couscous and it was amazing! The meat is tender and savory. It easily comes off from the bone. It also comes with a small salad and hummus.
We drove by this Mediterranean spot and took a chance with it as it was attached to a Gas station but surprisingly enough the food was very good! All entrees main dishes are served with hummus, salad and/or rice, couscous. We ordered the Moroccan chicken Tajine with couscous and Merguez (North African sausage) with couscous. Tasted fresh. Just delicious! The chef was polite and friendly. The only downside is that you have no dine -in we had to take our order to a nearby park in Burbank to eat it. I definitely recommend this place.
Prepare your tastebuds! Food with a kick! Delicious and spicy, great friendly staff, great service

A hit and a miss according to me. First the misses: 1) Bakalava was exceptionally sweet. 2) The falafel was dry and really hard to even bite into. My friends who used forks and knives had their falafels flying around. 3) They have the worst music I have heard in a restaurant, by far. Loud rap music is not the ideal background while eating kebabs. The hit: 1) The lamb chop and the shrimp kebab were out of this world.

** AVOID ONLINE ORDERING AND/OR DELIVERY ** Marsa Lounge took 2 hours (from the time I submitted my order) to deliver my food. I ordered around 3:40 PM, a time that one can safely assume is NOT busy for restaurants (which google analytics supports in showing this sparsely frequented time as "usually not busy"), and was told by their online ordering system that I could expect delivery "around 4:30 PM Today". After 45 minutes passed the delivery ETA, I called the restaurant to ask about my order that was nearly an hour late. All I was told was "sorry, the delivery guy already left". I still didn't receive my order until around 5:40 PM, about 2 hours after I submitted the order. This is absurd because the restaurant is about an 11 minute drive (a little over 3 miles) from the address ordered from. How can it possibly take 2 hours to prepare and deliver a 3 item order? It would've been faster to take the bus there, order take out, and then take the bus back. Or, rather, it would've been faster and cheaper to go to the grocery store and cook myself something to eat. Needless to say, the food was barely warm when it arrived, which checks out as it was likely sitting out for a great deal of time before it was actually out in transit for delivery. Marsa Lounge should consider either revamping their online order & delivery process to accurately represent delivery ETAs or discontinue offering delivery & online ordering altogether until they are equipped to professionally handle these. As for the food itself, it wasn't bad. I had not eaten in almost 12 hours so pretty much anything tastes good at that point. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because the food was edible and somewhat tasty. My only other complaint is that the hummus is overpriced, as it is at many restaurants, seeing as it's so much cheaper to make at home. Anyone with a food processor and a brain could make homemade hummus.

This place is wack! The food was super salty, the pita they gave me was hard, my meal was not complete with what it should have come with, the salad looked and tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave it was nasty soggy. The reason why I am even giving them 2 stars is because the hummus was good and the garlic sauce was good as well. The guy that gave me the food was not wearing a mask and was not very nice. Our office will not be ordering food from here ever again.
The food is pretty good but the guy there is angry. I used to go there a decent amount and every time the guy there looks at you like you wronged him and gets annoyed when you try to order. The last time I came 20 minutes late to pick up my order which is totally my fault. I said sorry and that I got held up. The guy at first doesn't want to give me the food that's in a bag right in front of him. I showed him I already paid for it online and said idk what's up but that I need my food or a refund. He then gets pissed and throws the bag towards the window and yells it's been over 2 hours! I showed him the email confirmation timestamp which was obviously not over 2 hours ago. He just turns away and starts mumbling stuff under his breath. I just grabbed my food and walked away.

Ordered take out, got there when it said it was going to be ready and it took them another 20 minutes to get our food ready. Saw the guy get the tea from the gas station “food mart.” Food was not very good at all. The oum ali desert looked gross, didn’t even eat it. Waste of time and money
Terrible. Beef swarma was old, salty and dry. It tasted like leftovers from previous nights of business. The portions were small and overpriced. I took pictures next to my juul to show how small it was. They say you get 2 for 1, it was 1 and it was $37 with sides. Order Chipotle or Zankou chicken, better taste and value. Nope!!

Placed online pick up order. Arrived and no one was inside. Called the restaurant and was told 5 to 10 minutes. Came back in 10 minutes and still no one was there. Waited a few more minutes before leaving to get lunch at an establishment featuring visible employees during their stated business hours. Tried to get a refund for a meal I no longer had interest in, was told my order was ready so they would not issue a refund. Fine. 1 star review instead. Order online at your own risk.
I paid 30$ for chocolate bread. They are definitely playing with human health. I will definitely not shop here again. The dough was uncooked and wet. It was a terrible waffle. I don't think I will eat waffles again.
