Opinions de Park's BBQ Los Angeles
Been here around 3 times now. It is pricy, But it is also the best Korean bbq I’ve ever been to. We went for the chefs cut tasting this time and it brought it to a whole new level. All the bonchon were delicious and always taste like they put care even into the simple dishes Even though it’s fun to cook yourself at other kbbq, it would be a disservice to have this perfect meat cooked by anyone but the experts at parks. I absolutely despise driving through LA but Parks is a shining beacon of meat to guide the way when I have to come here and makes the trip notably better!
Without hesitation, the best Korean restaurant Ive ever been to. The experience was perfect (wish I had taken better pics). So clean, the staff is helpful and attentive, and the food was flawless. The specialty is the beef BBQ but the sides and veggies are all just as worthy of a meal on their own. Its a luxurious treat but I will be back when im in LA again.
Korean food is well known around the world, and since I am new to it, I decided to give a few dishes a try. During my visit to this amazing restaurant, I ordered their Kobe-style beef, and it completely impressed me. The flavor was outstanding honestly, it's one of the best meals I've had so far. Huge thanks to Parks BBQ for such an unforgettable dining experience!
3 of us shared an order of Chef's Cut ($180). The best K-BBQ I've ever had. The prepared (uncooked) meat was shown to us, then carefully—perfecly—charbroiled the meat (see their website) at table. The banchan (side dishes) were excellent and numerous (more than a dozen). Rice is not included, but rice paper is: ask for some. The Prime+ beef is amazing. The marinated selections are not overly sweet. The green salad was good. Valet (only) parking: $3. Sanitation is A+ from the clean smoke hood and tabletop to the •not• greasy floors. Men's restroom was clean; urinal was filled with ice cubes. All good. I live about 10 minutes from Gen, 45 minutes from Park's: well worth the drive; so long, Gen.
10/10 experience surprisingly. We put ourselves on the waitlist on the drive over and were seated 5 minutes after arriving even though the entire place was full. Our server kinda seemed uninterested and unenthusiastic but she was really attentive and quick. Unfortunately I have no photos because we plowed through everything quickly. For the table, we had soju, chefs cut board and the beef tartare. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I was a fan of all the sides on the table. Our table was just packed with goodies. They also serve perilla leaves here which is hard to find at many kbbq spots. Barley tea was complimentary which is my favorite. The tartare with the chimichurri sauce on top was so chefs kiss, I’m still thinking about it. The meat from the chefs cut was tender, melt in your mouth, just divine. This was the best meal we had in LA this trip and I would highly recommend.
Well deserving of its Michelin Guide recognition. Both pork and beef were high quality, beautifully marbled and cooked to perfection. The flavors were clean, rich, and exactly what great Korean BBQ should be — excellent food all around. Service was really good as well: attentive, professional, and made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. A must-visit Korean BBQ spot in LA. Would definitely come back next time I’m in town.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Park BBQ truly ticks all the boxes. The service was attentive and professional without being overbearing, the food was exceptional with beautifully prepared, high-quality BBQ, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. You can really see why it has Michelin recognition — every detail is well thought out. A fantastic dining experience and definitely a place I’d happily return to.
For years we’ve dined at countless Korean BBQ restaurants across Los Angeles, and for some unknown reason, we somehow managed to skip Park’s BBQ — until now. Maybe it took a special occasion like my brother’s 60th birthday to finally make it happen, and now I’m kicking myself for not taking him here on his 50th! My wife and I aren’t experts in Korean cuisine, but after many years of dining — including some incredible meals in South Korea — we’re definitely more than casual fans. In our opinion, Park’s just edged out our long-time favorite, Genwa, as the best Korean BBQ in LA. What sets Park’s apart is the slightly elevated quality of both the meat and the vegetables. And if the measure of great food is how long it lingers in your mind after the meal, Park’s wins by a mile. The tofu soup had a deep, distinctive flavor with a stronger tofu presence. The steamed egg was thick, silky, and almost tofu-like in texture. Every cut of meat was tender with no aftertaste, and the banchan was flavorful yet surprisingly less salty — I didn’t experience the usual thirst that follows most KBBQ meals. Reservations? Absolutely essential. Don’t even think about walking in — at 5 p.m. the place was already full. We’re already planning our return visit, debating what to try next time. But one thing’s for sure: I’m ordering the grilled veggies wrapped in shiso leaf and pickled radish, topped with spicy kimchi — the perfect vegan bite in a meat lover’s paradise.
Only issue is a bit loud but these days it is not a big issue in k bbq place. We ordered 2 sets of bbq, kimchi chigae, puff egg and some other dishes. After it serve and our party started eat, we realize we didn't get kimchi chicken instead of we got drenching chigae. We inform our server and she said that since we started eating what they served they can't replace to kimchi chigae. I admit I should catched at first. So I told server that just put another order through. But at the end they didn't charged on our check. Bbq set 1 dish was so good. All meat smell so good and marinated beef wasn't so sugary as other bbq places. Our party enjoy so much. I visit my family from Dallas Texas so it was even more special.
Park’s BBQ deserves all the accolades it has received. We had no reservation on a Sun evening for a party of 5, and were seated immediately. The walls are adorned with pictures of celebrities who have visited, as well as the many awards it has garnered, including Michelin recognition. We had the Chef’s Cut, while our favorite was actually the skirt steak we ordered a la carte. We also ordered the Galbi Tang as a soup to balance all the meat we were eating. Service was terrific, with our server doing all the cooking for us, and the food was consistently excellent. A great dinner!
Great food? No. Amazing food!! We (3 of us) ordered the P1 Taste of Parks BBQ. The staff cooked it for us, periodically coming by the table to turn the meat, and letting us know when it was ready to eat. The vibe was noisy and hustling and smoky (but yet well ventilated), and everything you should expect from a place like this! Parking could have been a nightmare, but for $5 the valet made it super easy.
Our favorite Korean BBQ spot in Los Angeles! We didn’t have a reservation, but they gave us an excellent table in the upstairs room. I was really impressed by the ventilation no smoke or smell super comfortable. The food was amazing truly authentic. The quality of the meat was excellent, and we absolutely loved all the side dishes too. There’s plenty of parking outside with valet, the restroom was super clean, and overall it’s a great spot for a fun dinner. Highly recommended!
One of my favorite Korean restaurants. Not cheap here but they have very good beef here if you happen to across a good cut here. The beef here is generally quite good but once in a while you may come across an average cut. Food quality is good here. Highly recommend this place if you want good Prime Beef or Wagyu beef
The food was delicious, the meat was very good quality! The servers are also very helpful and nice. The cucumber salad they had was amazing!

The food was good, it was a good experience though I probably wouldn’t go again. It was really noisy. The price for everything is really expensive. It’s hyped up due to influencers suggesting it. Our main waiter was really good, very polite and a second waiter who refilled our drinks was very polite. The hostess at the front was kind of rude when you approached and ignored us, it wasn’t until another host came up that he noticed me and asked if I had a reservation. He was more polite than his colleague; the only time the other hostess was nice was when we were leaving. There was a female waitress who came by when I was checking the food on the grill and smacked my hand which I didn’t appreciate since I was keeping the meat from burning. In the end, she did burn half of a portion of meat after telling me not to touch it. Meat portions were okay, but for the price I’m not really sure if it was worth it. Side dishes were okay but nothing special. Overall, it was a fine one time experience. If you go, you have to make reservations weeks in advance.
Best Korean BBQ hands down. I always go there favorite spot for Korean BBQ however the service is horrible basically if you are not Korean you don't matter. The staff is rude, none responsive, and they ignore you or give you attitude if you ask for utensils or anything else. The only attention you get is from the boss boys and the Valet parking attendants who really deserve the tips. Such a shame wish management would do something about it but I keep going back and no improvement. The atmosphere is ok but they would benefit from some relaxing music. Besides the bad service it's a great spot and the meat quality is the best .
Overrated, underwhelming, overpriced ordinary K-bbq place. The only upside was friendly staff. We will probably go somewhere else next time.
