This place is consistent and top quality. They use fresh ingredients and have a variety of options with creativity, flavor, and presentation in mind! I will stop by for dinner every time I’m in town for work. Tony the bartender is friendly and attentive to his customers needs. This place is also seed oil free certified so I can eat freely without concern of how I’m going to feel the next day. Would highly recommend if you like an amazing culinary experience. I’m a huge fan of the grain bowl with blackened salmon or chicken!

Stopped in for an early supper. Had the Pork Nachos starter and a Grain Bowl. Both were excellent. Sat at the bar and had zippy service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will return.

This place is fantastic! For an appetizer, the Ricotta and Honey or Spinach dip is good. The Pasta Diablo was fantastic!! I'm coming back for it again. The other dishes that my friends had that also was great was the salmon. The braised short rib also looked yummy. The ambiance was dimly lit, I was able to hear conversations around me, there's so much to do in the vicinity, the waiter took good care of us and was attentive, drinks were refilled regularly, and the food came out timely and hot.

We had a lovely time at lunch. Our server, Heather, was perfect. Attentive, but gave us space as well. We have been to Tano with groups big and small, for dinner and just drinks at different times over the years. The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service are always consistent. Don’t hesitate, whether you are booking an event, a dinner for two, in for just drinks, or need accommodation for a larger party, Tano’s is the place.

We hosted a baby shower brunch in the private upstairs dining area. Everything from the start to finish was perfection. The entire staff is professional, accommodating and food is excellent. The menu we selected from was diverse and we were given so many options for our guest to choose from. It was the best food I have ever had at a large group event. EVERYONE raved about the food!! The BEST place to host a party!! Lisa and Tano were amazing.

Numerous gluten free options on a diverse farm to table menu. Excellent, informed wait staff. Creative cocktails. Darling downtown Loveland is a great place to stroll after dinner. Free public lots and street parking filled up pretty early on a bustling Tuesday night. Highly recommend for business dinner or family occasion. Avg $30-50 per person without cocktails.

We came here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. Situated in lovely downtown Loveland, Tano Bistro is a delightful place to come for a nice meal out or for a meet up with a friend for a cocktail or dessert. Our server, Bethany, was amazing. She was very attentive, warm, enthusiastic and knowledgable. She was the perfect balance of engaging and also giving us space to enjoy our anniversary meal. She recommended the pork chop meal and boy was she right. That sucker was amazing. The polenta cake that went with it was a bit dry, but honestly I think that's just what you get in a polenta cake. Also, while maybe it was dry, the flavor and coating was still amazing. My wife had stuffed salmon which she also loved. We both had a cocktail and they made them very well and the price of those were quite reasonable. I ordered off the menu and I was shocked how cheap mine was compared to the cocktails on their drink menu. Price in general, this is definitely not a cheap place to go, but I would say the value was there. For our anniversary, they gave us a free dessert: the flourless chocolate cake. That was amazing too... and I don't like chocolate. Well done, Tano and Bethany! Thank you for making our Anniversary a special night!

Best dirty martini I’ve ever had! Bobby is a wizard. My friends and I love going for happy hour after a run on the bike trail. I will say the food is good, but the Caesar salad is nothing special.

Yesterday was my first visit to Tano. My husband and I went for our first date night since pandemic started and let me tell you: this place did not disappoint, especially for a special occasion! The ambiance was perfect. Noise level was relatively low, the lighting was relaxing, and the decor was harmonious. The staff was very welcoming. Our server, Marie, was exceptional—not intrusive yet aware, attentive and knowledgeable, and spot on with all of her recommendations. Cocktails were perfectly executed and with creative takes on classic drinks. We ordered the Millbrook Manhattan and Miami Trails Margarita to start, then moved onto an Old Fashioned and Aviación de Melón. (That margarita was exquisite!) Everything we ordered for food was balanced, with perfectly sized portions, carefully contrasting flavors and textures that worked well together, and cooked to perfection. For starters, we ordered the spinach dip, sprout n’ snout, and short rib croquettes. For mains, we ordered the redfish special with roasted poblano and sweet corn risotto and the maple shrimp with sweet potato hash. For dessert, we couldn’t pass up the gianduja cremeux. Overall: I cannot wait to return and I HIGHLY recommend that you try this place! PS. If you visit for a date, be sure to pick up a deck of the Rekindle cards (pictured). They’re from a local business. You’ll have some fun questions to ask and ponder!

We visit Tano's several times a year and it- never disappoints... Jake welcomed us and showed us to a nice window table. We enjoyed a round of drinks including the Colemine Cosmo which my wife loved. The fig honey and lime along with splash of cranberry is great but the fall spice rim took it over the top! My Tano Old Fashioned was superb. Jaylee took great care of us and had excellent suggestions. The Spinach dip appetizer is excellent but make sure to get the 16 Brix bread basket to compliment it. They are serving the fall/winter menu now. I loved the Paella full of savory seafood. My wife loved the braised short ribs and the stuffed salmon was a hit as well. My Irish coffee fell flat as it was not hot but tasty all the same. Jaylee spoiled us and we will be back soon!

What a great local date night spot! First of all, our service was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were unique and tasty. I would definitely revisit! My favorite thing that I tried was the Quinoa entree. I would recommend reservations here as it was completely booked. Tano is following COVID protocol perfectly. I was very impressed and felt safe.

Higher end dining but very quaint location. Had them do box lunch catering before but their in house dining wasn't anything like it. Very flavorful and well proportioned. Their tomato bisque soup was amazing! Would be curious on dinner options!

My girlfriend and I went here for date night! The staff was very friendly and professional! We reserved a table through Google ahead of time and it made getting seated when we arrived easy! The food and drinks were delicious! It's a little pricey, but definitely worth the money! They even have roof top seating with a bar! Definitely recommend this place and we will be back!

The food here is AMAZING! Service by Sadie was great as well & every floor of the restaurant is very cool. It was nice out so we sat on the roof. Thanks guys & see ya next time we’re in town!

Awesome lunch!!! Had the fish tacos and the tequiwi margarita. The cheeseburger and fries and fruit cup kids meal was also incredible. Good service and rooftop seating was on point. Try this little gem if you're ever in Loveland. 😊

My husband and I wanted to take our four children, their spouses, and six grand babies, (six years old and under) out for a special dinner as a gift for Christmas this year. I called several places to see if they could accommodate our large group with small children. No one got back to me even though I called and emailed over several weeks. That’s when I contacted Tano’s. They got back to me within 24 hours and were wonderful about making this large group work. We went last night and had a wonderful experience. We dined for the over 2 1/2 hours and felt very welcomed. The food, drinks, and service were exceptional. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Tano’s for making us feel welcomed. We will definitely return.

Definitely recommend this place for date night. Especially the roof top! The drinks are made well and really tasty and the food is so good. I’m wimpy and I considered the stir fry a tiny bit spicy but otherwise delicious. The staff was extremely accommodating and friendly as well.

It’s my first time here, and I am incredibly impressed with the cocktails. We're excellent. The Ohio heat cocktail was my favorite. I will certainly come back to Mario impressed. Not only did the food look beautiful, but the quality and taste were superb. We got the Brussels sprouts with Shishido peppers appetizer, and it was very, very good. The Aecom caramel was terrific, as well as the Barada salad; the lettuce wraps with the tofu, and the veggie cheese melt. Wiffleball everything had the most delicious ingredients and was very well balanced. The staff was very friendly, and even Tonya came to our table and introduced himself. The cocktails were unique, and the Ohio heat cocktail was my favorite. I will certainly come back.

What a special treat! Innovative cocktails and creative fresh cuisine I totally didn't expect from a suburban restaurant. Tano's is a hidden gem that would do well in any major city and we get to experience it here n the heart of Loveland. Highly recommend the bourbon cocktails and the vegan feature (although the filet is pretty good too ;)) Friendly and helpful staff complete the experience.

Tano’s‘s in Loveland is one of our favorite restaurants. Me and my wife had dinner there last night and it was great. Alex the head bartender, was also our server last night on the rooftop. She made me the best old fashion that I’ve had. You can tell she loves to bartend, and she knows her stuff! It was a great night.

Amazing service by Zach. Prime rib pasta was an excellent recommendation. Wine was great. Nice atmosphere, not too loud. Lighting was great. Would highly recommend.

We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for 50 guests followed by cocktails for an expanded group. Enjoyed an outstanding venue and atmosphere, delicious food and drinks with excellent service by friendly and professional staff. Lisa did a great job helping us plan and organize our event and was very accommodating to ensure the evening was a successful and enjoyable experience for all of our guests. A perfect evening and a great start of our weekend celebration!

I ordered the Italian dinner menu for an event and I was amazed that the chicken Parmesan was so juicy and perfectly done after traveling. The pasta primavera was so generously full of vegetables! The meal was delicious and delivered hot and fresh. I’m completely satisfied and would use them again anytime!

Our server Jack was amazing. Definition of an excellent server. The food was okay. The restaurant has a great vibe and the manager seems to be very friendly and helpful when issues arise. Will definitely visit again. Their Marietta Margarita is AMAZING!

Everything was amazing! My husband and I like to try new random places and this was our choice Friday night. I set a reservation for 715, but we got there early about 650. They sat us immediately. The atmosphere was warm and perfect for date night. They took us upstairs to a corner table which was perfect. The lights were dimmed shortly after we ordered our wine. We shared a bottle of a red blend. We got the Yammy appetizer. The name is longer but I couldn't pronounce it much less try to spell it. Just trust me on this one, get the yammy. We also shared a ceasar salad which they brought to the table split for us. My husband got the duck, which he said was perfect. I got the half pan seared chicken which was delicious and even took some home. It honestly would have been enough for us to share. For dessert we got the creme brulee, my absolute favorite! I also got the salted caramel martini, 100% recommended. Our server did a great job. We will absolutely be back! The check was about 198 before tip and worth every bit.

We thought we came in for the Coco Muse event- made reservations but messed up somehow. Anywho the food… oh…was so good!! I had the Asada steak, potato and broccoli and he had the Pasta Diablo! The owner felt bad that we missed the event so the chef brought us some delicious desserts! This is a first class experience and the staff are all just as wonderful as the owner! Thank you all for making us feel just as special as the attendees of the Coco Muse event! Happy Valentines Day Tano! ❤️

We rented Tano’s for a family event. Lisa, the event coordinator, went above and beyond to take care of my family and make this event special. The food was phenomenal. The staff was friendly. I couldn’t ask for a better place to host my family.

We use Tano Catering for every large gathering and highly recommend. Lisa is wonderful helping choose the menu items and quantities, delivery and set up is seamless and the guests absolutely love everything, especially the tenderloin crostini and crab cakes! We had 'repeat' guests and were so happy to see that Tano was providing the food! Tano catering consistently delivers and they will continue to be our go-to caterer!

Amanda was fantastic and the dinner selections were perfect. Love this place and will be back soon. Pasta Diablo was perfection along with the bread pudding.

Food is terrific! Great portions for the price you’re paying… service could be more attentive but has not been horrible as it’s been pleasant and spaced check ins. Could certainly see this being a great date spot for a couple, but I came with my friend for a casual afternoon lunch. I got the tuscan chicken and house salad while my friend got the hamburger and fry option!

Where do I start? This was a sweet little spot in downtown Loveland, Ohio. We went there for my granddaughter’s graduation dinner. We sat on the second level, five of us. The cocktails were delicious, I had the pear ginger martini. Delicious! The appetizers were wonderful, especially the spinach dip, and the roasted brussels sprouts. The short rib, scallops and sandwiches were outstanding. The service was wonderful, Tony, our server was attentive, but not pesky! I definitely recommend this bistro for a unique experience.

C
Cynthia Mathias

reservations made online via OpenTable. Service was great. Had the 16 bricks bread basket with EVOO butter, sprout and snout to start with. Bread with the butter were tasty. Probably could’ve done without the sprout and snout. I had the stuffed salmon, tasty but nothing out of this world for $30. My husband had the pork chop which he said was very good with the fried polenta. Standard dinner fare. Not sure it’s anything special to come back to for a second time except for drinks at the bar.

I have loved Tano for a long time, but what on earth did they do to their brunch menu?! Came here last weekend for a surprise birthday brunch with some friends. They booked Tano because they knew how deeply I loved their brunch, specifically the French toast. Unfortunately they have change their menu and their new French Toast is gross. Miss the old custard dipped, thick-cut bread with fruit compote and maple syrup. I'm giving four stars because I have dined here for ten years and I still love the atmosphere and location and dinner menu--but I don't plan to return for brunch anytime soon.

First time here, fantastic place, staff was awesome, atmosphere is great. We came for brunch on father's day, while the food was good everything was cold and seemed to take forever to come out. All that being said try the coffee it's amazing along with the tomato salad! We will be back

J
Jay Stricks

Lamb ribs, Brussel sprout appetizers were 5 stars. Sous vide half chicken entree — super dry, breast meat almost like cotton balls. Overcooked when they finished it the air fryer to get the crispy skin? Disappointed because everything else was great.

Unfortunately, this was a 3-star visit today. After debating on where to eat, we decided to give Tano a try. We came shortly before the end of brunch on a Sunday. We didn't have a reservation, but didn't need one as the place was almost empty. Our server greeted us and made a comment of the brunch menus. Since it was close to the end of brunch, she said she would check if we needed a new menu. Not a problem for us, we weren't there for brunch...just hungry. Our hostess never returned, so we assumed the menus were okay...and they turned out to be okay. It would have been nice to have the follow up. We had started with some shareables that consisted of avocado toast on a Blue Oven English muffin and fried brussel sprouts with bacon. I think the muffin could have been toasted a bit longer; texture as whole was one sided and needed a crunch. The brussel sprouts had been cooked for too long as they were slightly bitter. I had a burger with tomato bisque. I had as for the burger to be medium, but it came out well. I don't think the meat was seasoned before cooking as the exterior was visibly well seasoned and the interior was rather bland. My bisque did not come out with the burger and I had to ask for it. I also had to ask for mustard...I was not offered ketchup or mustard when given the burger. I would recommend letting customers know that it is a hot mustard; some people may not bother tasting before applying and will be in for a surprise. The tomato bisque (not pictured) was probably the highlight of the meal. Right amount of acidity, salt, and basil. A well balanced tomato bisque packed with flavor. Overall, food was okay and could be elevated with a few simple tweaks. For as slow as the place was, service was a bit slow.

J
JD Staley

Not our typical experience. Walked into an empty restaurant and the host asked us if we had a reservation. The food was "ok" but the server was great. The restaurant was beyond cold which is probably why our experience was not up to normal for Tano. We will visit again and hopefully it's back to the normal high quality food and service.

J
Janet Nelson

Food was sub par, used to be one of our favorite restaurants but tonight’s meal was not great. We split the spinach dip, and it was good. Split the blue sirloin, medium rare, steak was cold and tough. Not sure we will go back.

M
Mr. Smith

Bartenders are great. Food was mediocre. Got the $32 dollar chicken. And $21 lamb racks. Chicken was not seasoned and bland. Lamb rack was very fatty would not recommend and not seasoned as well. Pretty disappointed... Will be back but only for drinks...

H
Hannah Reck

Very poor service. The bartender was our waiter and he didn’t have much time for us. I had to go to the bar to reorder a drink. Our entrees were $37-39. I had a very tough steak and raw broccoli that were both flavorless. My son had salmon that was tasteless. My husband had the sous vide chicken—underwhelming. The whole experience was an expensive disappointment. Not good enough for the money and low quality food.

W
Wendy Field

Called to place a take out order. Was left on hold for almost 5 minutes. Hung up and called back, got a different person, and they took my order right away. Was told they were running 30 minutes for takeout. I got there about 2 minutes before the time I was told, and we had to wait almost 10 minutes for our food. I asked for a well-done burger, and it was burnt. I'm very disappointed. EDITED someone from Tano's reached out and apologized and offered to remake my food.
