Never have been disappointed!!!!! The owner greets you at the counter, always makes sure you are taken care of!!!!!! The Kitchen staff is also so nice when they bring out your order!!!! When I travel to Austin, I have to take Pizza for family!!!! Thank you guys!!!!!

We had such a wonderful experience at Simple Simons on 10/25/22. We were greeted with great service and the food was absolutely delicious and came out super fast! Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you get. We will be back again and be regular customers!!

Amazing pizza. The best calzone I've ever had. The service is prompt and prices are definitely affordable. The restaurant is a little small, however the food and vintage decorations, games and collectables on display really give it a homey feel. The pizza alone is enough to make me drive 45 miles from home.

I'm not a huge pizza fan however I love Simple Simon's! Abel (the owner) has a great product. They brush garlic on the dough and the crust which is heaven to me and my family. They are awesome at adding or subtracting ingredients. The have salads,sandwiches, and calizones. You can eat in, pick up,or have it delivered. They are typically very busy at lunchtime due to being quie close to downtown but it's worth the wait.

I really like this place. It looks like an old school, no-frills pizza parlor that hasn't made a single improvement since the day they first opened, which was before you were born. Very personable and quiet atmosphere that reflects the operator's personality. This night, they had an area blocked off to diners as it was not busy for in-house customers. The personnel were busy with takeout orders while we were dining in. Condiments are extra and are priced reasonable for your order of food. Drinks are priced into some of the menu choices with refills on dining in option. Drinks are individually priced by size, and dining in can get refills of fountain drinks. Other drinks, i.e., bottle water or other drinks, are reasonably priced but do cost for additional bottles at the same price. We did not feel the need to rush our meal and visit as we were one of the few dine-in customers. If the restaurant had been busy, we would have dined accordingly to the customer being waited on by the personnel working there to respect their business.

The staff was helpful and very friendly. The restaurant was clean. They had turned off several lights and blocked off part of the area's, so it was difficult to maneuver. Video game area was cool. They have older video games that are still coin operated.

Placed my order through the Slice App. Pizza was prepared very quickly and had an excellent flavor. Their crust is the perfect texture and the toppings were balanced nicely. I'll definitely be ordering pizza from here any time I'm in town for a while. The owner is very nice and helpful.

Oh have mercy..The Calzone here is like the mouths heaven. Good pizza...Sandwiches are delicious and salads are fresh and filling as well. Cake..Certainly can't forget that either. I have seen this spot for years and years but never stopped, until a nurse told me that they had really great wings so we decided to try it! And boy was I sooo delighted we did bc goodness the food is superb & it's got a mom and pop feel which I love. It's kindv out there...off the interstate in the shopping center where the original Harbour Freight is, so not somewhere you might frequent, but it is definitely worth the drive. I'm hooked on the build your own Calzone, but really any canzone is top notch! In the picture I did a large build your own Calzone with pepperoni, beef, bell peppers, olives & mushrooms. Any pizza is also outstanding trust me, but in the picture we have a large supreme, no sausage, add beef, add olives. When you order online you also have the choice to order a 30in "beast" for $99. But I did notice on a poster by the fountain drinks there is a list of different large size pizzas that range from large to colossal, that aren't listed online. I'm not sure the name of the different sizes of large but the prices ranged from I believe $30 to over $100!! They also have party packs with many pizzas in them, so it takes the frustration out of trying to think how many you need for your event. So you can get some pretty massive pizzas for your next get together! The breadsticks sticks in the picture are jalapeño breadsticks & we added beef, you absolutely can't go wrong with them. So add these to your order, exactly as I have described, you will give me praise. 😊 And then finally we have the wings....ohhh yesss we have the wingzzzz!! They are outstanding and I really appreciate my nurse friend turning me onto them! In the pic we got bbq with medium sauce, because you can get light, medium or extra sauce. And in the last pic we have a family side Ranch of course, no explanation needed! In our pictures the cheese isn't melty anymore because we picked it up and then drove home which is in a small town about 45 minutes away. I would like to add I started eating my Calzone before we left the parking lot, I couldn't resist!! Believe me this will be your new pizza spot once you give it a try! When we went there (at about 4:45pm) there was no one dining in but several people waiting for their order & they were also extremely busy with take out orders. The atmosphere is nostalgic, they have a bunch of collectable figurines mint in boxes, from Star Wars & Marvel & DC characters and lots of other characters. They are really cute to look at while you're waiting. In the back room they have a working pinball machine!!!! And other working arcade games which I plan to one day play! And finally the service...just so abundantly friendly, like all mom and pop establishments are! There were two people working one working the front and one cook... one magical cook! I think his magical powers come from that old, seasoned, extraordinary oven where the magic happens. He was also so friendly as well as the guy working the front, he was running around getting orders ready. So I have done the work for you and scoped out this place and am here to tell you to rush, sprint, dash or gallop to Simple Simon's because you will feel zero remorse about devouring these mystical carbs!

Loved everything about it. Waaaay underappreciated local shop. The only place to get stromboli in town and it is nice and crispy with a warm gooey center. Perfect. The ambiance is reminiscent of the old school pizzarias I grew up with in the Bay area of California, complete with pinball.

Now this is a hidden gem! Just good down home Italian food reasonably priced. Nice family atmosphere. The owners are there every day and take pride in their food and service. Stromboli and Calzones are the best. I tried The "Big 8" Calzones and it was had a nice crisp crust filled with lots of meats and plenty of melted cheese.

Simple Simon's Pizza has one of the best calzones in town. We frequent here everytime we want a good meal. The staff are very courteous and the food is always fast and hot. This is one of our "go-to" spots. We will see you there.

Calzones were made fresh to order and were quite good. I really liked that they cut them into smaller pieces for easier eating and helped it to cool enough to eat! Vintage posters, mainly Betty Boop allaround the dining area. Definately worth a try!!

Fist time ever going to this place..... The food that we ordered was very Delicious but the guy that took our ordered wasn't very kind, don't get me wrong I will go back and get it to go but I will not Dine in anymore!!!! The Pizza was like no other pizza I've had!!!

We love their calzone, pizza breadsticks, and salads and sandwiches. They are really good. They have really good workers. You can order by phone and get it delivered or come and pick it up or eat inside. They have a game room too.

We are visiting the area and found Simple Simon's because it was close to Harbor Freight, where we were shopping. I had a Chef Salad with chicken breast. The salad was good. The chicken breast was tasty and the greens were fresh. My wife had an Italian sausage pizza. She said it was very dry and lacked flavor. Although nothing was extremely wrong we would not go back there to eat.

The pizza is overrated overpriced it has no flavor or taste just blend, cheap on the pizza sauce. Part of the large pizza dough was not cooked. I will never order it again.

I used to love this restaurant but unfortunately the last 2 times I've tried to order, it gets cancelled because the store is closing 3 hours prior to website. If the store is going to close at 6pm it needs to be posted on the website!

Called and placed on hold. No one ever got back to me after 10 minutes. Hung up and tried calling back and it was busy. Tried a few more times and same result. What's the point of telling me to hold please and then never get back to me. Can't leave a review of the food cause they didn't want to answer the phone to take my order.

We’ve eaten at this place about 4 years ago. It was pretty good. We had a good experience with the food and service. We aren’t from the area so we never got to go back. Until today. We were passing through for work and hungry so we thought we’d give them another try. Their hours are 11am-9pm. We went inside right before 2pm and there was no food out. I’m not sure if they even had anything ready. We stood there for a few minutes waiting to have our order taken. The people working there had their kids sitting at the tables. (At least I assume since they were young and just playing at the tables. No food.) We could hear someone in the kitchen so we called out. No one responded. So we ended up leaving. I know it’s a small town but… we had a good experience years ago. Not sure what happened.

Bowling alley pizza for $20 plus tax. I did not like the pizza and the service. The cashier somehow couldn’t match my name to the correct order and gave me the incorrect order twice and thankfully I was paying attention and corrected their mistakes twice. Won’t be back here. My girlfriend was recently and employee, they treat and talk to the employees trashy. She sent me videos of the back of the restaurant it is very DIRTY and unsanitary.

Pizza dough was a bit raw. I'm assuming he was the owner, Older Hispanic male... very rude. Not helpful at all.. it was almost as if he was annoyed that we showed up. So we probably never will again. Rude people suck

First time here, old man taking orders was rude. I asked a question, his personality came back as if I was asking him to go back and make the pie his self. I chose not to eat.

Signs say they close at 10pm we came in at 8 :15 she did not want to serve us and would not hang up the phone from a personal call to even say hello. Didnt order. Didnt dare. With attitude like that I was afraid what she would do to my food.

My husband and I love the calizones and the dinner salads. We have always gotten great food and great service but when we came today both the service and the salad were less the desirable. The salad looked as though it were frozen and the cashier, very rude. Don't know if we will be back.

I have been there three times now. The food is very ,,very good. The attitude of the cashier is what STINKS. On three different occasions I've ordered and she is just a rude person. She has no people skills. I ordered a chef Salad Special today along with 2 other specials, she got the order wrong. Instead of apologizing for HER MISTAKE, she said to me, "You should have asked for the Special". Wow. I cancelled the order. She asked what do you want to cancel. Wow! She can't even comprehend simple instructions. To bad! Poor lady needs hearing aids and schooling on customer service. She ruins an awesome local business, and your lunch!

just bought 2 original calzones, one medium,one large, and the bread had visible mold on top and bottom. it was hard to miss! had my husband take it back inside and the owner said we were the first to complain and that it was not mold but that it was problably from cheese? Well i took a bite and let me just say, it was definately mold. i took the green spots out and it still tasted disguisting. couldnt eat it, threw them in the trash. im astonished that he would be okay with serving his customers mold! anyways im very dissapointed because this was only my 2nd time here and the 1st time it was great! i ordered a large because last time it was so good i knew id want some for later too. unfortunately theres no one to tell it to since the owner himself could care less.

I ordered what i thought was going to be a pizza covered in pepperoni (the description states 80 pieces of pepperoni) , fresh and hot (asked for well done).... What i got was a $25, room temp at best, not close to well done, a normal amount of pepperoni, barely any sauce rounded piece of bread. Came here a couple months ago to do a delivery for doordash. Food wasn't ready when I arrived so I played some of the arcade games. One took my quarter but didn't work. When I asked the person working about it, they looked to the ground and giggled like a child, saying: "oh its not mine". Then whose is it? And whom can I speak to about the quarter you just stole? Or at least, this is what I would have said, had I not realized, after a response like that, the effort wasn't worth it. The price of a quarter is not worth the cost of speaking to a fool. I promptly received the customer's order and left. Had I been there for myself I would have just walked out. But I didn't want to screw over my doordash customer. Dozen pizza places in this town, folks. Go find you one with a grown man running it. This one's got a kid trynna steal your pocket change :/

i ordered a calzone for lunch and was about half way in when i realized the dough was moldy. i went back to see if they could give me refund do something about it and they were mad about the whole situation even the owner, they wouldn’t give me a refund they insisted on making me a new one even though i told them i didn’t want it because the first one was moldy and i had to be back at work. Would not recommend this place. if you want good pizza i would go to Giorgio they have the best pizza in lubbock hands down

I ordered the cheeseburger pizza and requested two simple modifications—no mustard, substitute marinara sauce, and add bacon. That apparently caused an issue, because the owner personally came over with a rude and dismissive attitude, telling me I couldn’t make that kind of change again. Excuse me? Since when is a paying customer not allowed to modify a pizza to their taste? That’s basic customer service. The pizza itself was average at best—not worth the hassle. But what really ruined the experience was the owner’s unprofessional behavior. He was arrogant, unaccommodating, and clearly not interested in making customers feel welcome. This place doesn’t value customer satisfaction, and it shows. Between the mediocre food and the outright disrespect, I will not be returning—and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone who expects even a minimal level of courtesy or flexibility when ordering.
