Came here for a birthday party. Excellent service!!! Our waiter was never intrusive and never interfered with the conversation. He was also friendly, as was all the staff. Everyone enjoyed their food. The onion rings are close to spectacular. They could use a little more salt.

We were visiting from out of town and looking for dinner on a (busy) Friday night. We went to 2 other restaurants but both had long waits. We drove by Teddy Jack's and the parking lot was full. We decided to go in and see what the waiting time was. We were pleasantly surprised that the restaurant was huge - no wait. We were quickly seated in a booth and our waiter showed up within 2 minutes. They were rockin', but the service was spot on. We needed a few minutes to check out the extensive menu....they have everything. Pizzas, tex-mex, sandwiches, salads, burgers, pasta..... The waiter was great and quickly brought our beers while we decided. The food was excellent. Yes, it's bar food, but we could tell that the ingredients were fresh and top quality. The server was always available, but not hovering over us. Prices were very reasonable. The only deduction was1 star for atmosphere. It's pretty loud with concrete floors. We were lucky to be seated in a booth which helped. Hey, I get it. It's a popular place with lots of families. Just a little noisy, but the food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back when we are in Lubbock!

We were a group of family and friends celebrating a birthday on 10/4. We were there from 6 pm to 9 pm. There were as many as 10 at our table during the evening. We enjoyed Spur 327. They were fantastic! Ella is a great server! She took good care of us. And the food was delicious.

Well, the times we have eaten here it has been very good, very spacious, good family atmosphere, The restaurant has an open porch for warm weather, and they have plenty of parking space.

Good food pizza was great, a little bit too greasy, but pizza is that way. Tried the bacon cheese fries less cheese than I was expecting, but it's still good. Our waitress was super kind. A little loud as I can hear chatter through my noise canceling earbuds. But that is probably also because of it being prime dinner hour.

My daughter and I decided to take a chance on this place for dinner after seeing some lower reviews on Yelp. WOW! I am so glad we didn't listen to the 1-star reviews on Yelp. The full parking lot was the first indicator. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was amazing, and the service was friendly. We sat outside and listened to a live band play into the evening - a magical experience! Will definitely be returning!

There was a little problem last night with being over charged by DoorDash the GM Joey over took care of it! I am so glad because the food was amazing! My husband said if this was in our town this would be his favorite restaurant and it has so many options for kids it made it really easy to make both kids happy! We got a great waitress Gia! Took good care of us and had fun in the restaurant!

I loved this place we got one teddy jack and one double burgers both were great. Waiting time was short and waiters were so welcoming and friendly. The great thing was the burger was not greasy!! (Finally found a place to enjoy a burger). Will go back for sure to try all the menu and drinks!

Went in to celebrate Mother’s Day after visiting our family that has bragged about this place. It was amazing. We got sat fast, service was fast and accurate, food was hot, looked and tasted good. A manager was present walking around, checking tables which was comforting. We will most definitely be returning next time we are in town! Already looking forward to it.

I do believe this will be a tradition when visiting Lubbock. My neice always orders the mozzarella cheese sticks and they are like no other. Thick and delicious. I've ordered the Cobb salad and the Strawberry chicken Salad and both were amazing. The waitress we had on our last visit was very attentive, friendly, and humorous making our visit that much more fun.

Walked in gotta table of 4, waitress got to the table immediately, food came quickly and was good. Only issue, Happy hour was for domestic drafts and somehow Shiner is an import. Even though they have a Shiner City Limit sign right behind the hostess sign.

If you can’t decide where to, this is the place. Because it’s got everything you could ask for. American, BBQ, Italian and Tex Mex. Took both my dad and I a LONG time to decide on our order. Service was super fast! Will be returning!

Had some drinks and dinner with an old friend. Incredible experience with the bartenders. Savanna, Brandon, and Alyssa were great! Steak finger special was just the right size. Drink/meal specials and interactions with the staff truly made the entire time perfect. Will definitely be back!

This place is fantastic. Our server, Ceasar, was attentive and on the spot. The food is always consistently on point. Its hot, fresh and I never leave disappointed. The atmosphere is always inviting. Its never too loud. Great place for a happy hour, or to have a dinner with the family. The manager Joey is a Rockstar. Very attentive. You can tell he runs a tight ship. If you're between Southwest Lubbock and Wolfforth this should stay on your list.

My friends and I love eating here! The host is very friendly and sat us immediately. There’s a wide selection of food options for everyone even picky eaters. The kitchen always makes sure that the food is correct. Never had any mistakes when ordering here. They also just put out an Oktoberfest menu. Joey stopped by our table and made sure that we were having an enjoyable experience. The waiters and waitresses are always so nice and welcoming. Will always be a favorite in Lubbock!

Had a fantastic dinner this evening at Teddy Jacks! The food came out incredibly quickly, was delicious, and hot. The highlight was our server, Gabriel. He was so attentive we didn't even have to ask for anything we needed, he was already ready to offer it. I hope someone sees this and rewards him, he is a gem!

My wife and I stopped by Teddy Jack’s Hub City Grill for a quick dinner and had a fantastic experience. Even though they were short-staffed on a cold, snowy evening, we were seated and served quickly before the dinner rush. Our waiter, David, was incredibly friendly, attentive, and provided extraordinarily awesome service. The food was excellent, and the overall experience was top-notch. We loved this place and will definitely be coming back many, many more times.

I had lunch with a customer here around noon on 3/11. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. The staff were kind and friendly and kept the refills coming the entire visit. We started out with chips and queso. The chips were crisp and seasoned well, the salsa was flavorful but not spicy at all, and the queso was nice and cheesy with great flavor as well. Then I got the Monterrey Chicken for my meal. It was fantastic. The broccoli was cooked perfectly and seasoned wonderfully. The rice was also cooked expertly. The chicken was moist and juicy and exploded with flavors that danced well with the cheese, bacon, and avocado. Overall, this was a great place to take a customer for a lunch meeting. And we had a good time!

Overall the experience was really good. Went at about 2pm on Sunday and was sat immediately. Service was good. Food was delicious. Wife enjoyed the shrimp. The mother Clucker sandwich was very tasty! Bacon cheese fries were on point. Would definitely eat here again.

The place is very west Texas charming. They have both Indoors and outdoors low and high tables, patio and a bar top for seating. So it’s on the good side so big groups. The food and the crowd is very diverse. It includes the typical comfort food, and some salad, and burgers options. There is a bit for everyone. Food is fresh and tasty, and It is on the well portion, heavy side. They have a good alcohol menu mostly with cocktails and beer. The bathroom are spacious and gendered, and parking should not be an issue. Service was a bit slow, but it was a Friday night. Be aware though, food is not in the “light” side, so if you like to eat something lighter you may need to look for alternative options.

We had a group of 8. Seated right away in a busy graduation weekend. Our group ordered pizza, beef quesadilla, chicken strawberry salad, and fish n chips. Everyone loved the food. Disappointed we had to ask everytime for our drinks to be filled. It was loud and hard to have a table conversation. But, food was good!!

Waitress was charming and attentive. Every one at the table ordered same thing. Was brought something entirely different and they were NOT busy. However, they did bring us the correct order as a to go order. I think they should have comped our meal in addition to giving us the correct order. They were very apologetic about the mix up.

I think of Teddy Jack's as a slightly more hip, Lubbocky take on TGI Friday's or Chili's. It's good for a casual dinner or weekday lunch, and the happy hour food/drink specials are pretty killer (especially their $6 single topping pizza on Tuesdays). My dinner tonight was average, but not in bad way. I had cheese sticks (massive but sadly a little flaccid) and a margarita pizza. Our server Jake was very friendly, efficient and polite. I'll definitely come back, but I wish they had a few more fresh options and that they had a slightly lower price point on certain items.

I wasn't too sure about this place from the get go. Our part of 8 had great service. Wife and I ordered burgers because we were told they were really great. "Really great" is not what I would call them, they came out very dry and of course I forgot to ask for medium rare, so sadness. My wifes was very excited about pickels and even asked to make sure it came with some. When her burger came there was not a one. When he came back she called him out on it and he ended up bringing her a whole plate of pickels, making her very happy. Overall it was ok at best, I can think of a few places with better burgers and cheaper too. Also it's crazy loud, I couldn't even hear the other people at the end of our table.

I ordered the Cheese Sticks and the Chicken Club sandwich. The cheese sticks are phenomenonal! Very flavorful on their own, I only wish they had given me the marinara that it comes with. I overheard that "they didn't have any", so I figured they would tell me so maybe I could get something else, but they just pretended like nothing was wrong and didn't tell me. The chicken club is really good, the char on the chicken gives it a really nice smokey flavor. I would suggest adding avocado. The amount of fries that they gave me was laughable, but they are good. Service was slow and pickup is not a smooth process. It's advertised as curbside, but you still have to go inside to pay. It also took longer than anticipated, although it is understandable on a Saturday night. 3 stars

Food is very delicious just a little over priced. It’s sad a salad is $18. The pizzas are delicious, I just recommend going in a Tuesday when they’re $6.

We went in to relax and enjoyed the live music. The downside is it ended at 10PM and the atmosphere was really quite. Also the service wasn't the worst but not the best. I understand it was an off peak night but be sure to check on all your customers.

I’m from Lubbock Actually live down the street from this place first time visiting with my family ordered a sirloin steak medium, which they brought it to me rare which I returned and did not get nothing else ..and my Daughter ordered the personal pizza which did not bring with the rest of the food because they forgot to stick it in the oven to cook. which eventually they brought it with no charge

My partner and I went to $1 margarita day. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait and completely expected it and said ok. They texted us a message and let us know they would text us again when our table was ready. Since it was so packed, we decided to go sit in our vehicle in the parking lot. We never got another text, and after about 30 minutes of waiting we went back in and were seated immediately. I guess the forgot about us. My table and menus were pretty gross. The menus were covered in some kind of layer of oil or slime that needed to be wiped down. I only had one napkin that was wrapped around my fork, otherwise I would’ve cleaned it myself. When our waitress arrived, she welcomed us and took our drink orders. When we ordered a margarita, she said something along the lines of how margarita night was going to give her nightmares or something. We didn’t really know how to respond to that. We got our drinks and then Waited a while for the margarita then a while longer for our order to be placed. She complained twice more about being so busy. I completely understand, but it kind of made us as customers feel bad for even being there the way she was talking. The food came out and it was great. Overall, things felt a little dirty, and I felt like things could’ve been more organized. I don’t think it was necessarily the waitresses fault, but the restaurant itself for improperly preparing for a day like $1 margarita day and having a young waitress cover such a large area. I have always like this place but this was genuinely a bad experience for me.

Our server Kendra, made great suggestions and was attentive. Great value was the Wednesday special, Steak Finger meal for $8, my friend said it was delicious. We ended up getting the Butcher’s vengeance pizza, which was 🔥.

We love Teddy Jack's but have only eaten dine-in and always enjoy it. Wife not feeling well so we ordered to-go, when I arrived and came through the Take Out door I was definitely not greeted and it was like a game of not it. A new server walked out of the back that I hadn't seen yet, smiled and said she would be right with me. I waited about 10 minuets for the food to be brought to the counter, when I arrived home we ate immediately. Wife's soup was warm as was my burger, only warm and the fries were cold and stale. Food still tasted great just cold, we do live less than 5 minuets from the restaurant. We will continue to dine-in but will not chose for a take-out again.

Surcharge of 2% in card payment! The food was great, the service was great! When it was time to pay, I was asked cash or card. Typically we don’t carry much cash on us. When I got the bill there was an additional fee. There were no sign at the front or that was very visible on the menu. Establishments should not outright charge a surcharge for using a card payment.

I gotta admit, the food here was great. When we walked in, we were seated quickly at a very small table. We asked if we could move to a booth to have more room, and at that point, our waitress was slow. She was just very slow and that was a little frustrating. We ordered some Strawberry and Mango Margaritas and the Triple Dipper to start. They couldn’t even be bothered to mix the margarita flavoring into the frozen drink all the way and that was a little sad. We would get random sips of sweetness and random sips of nothing but tequila. That wasn’t fun. I tried the Cowboy Burger and they forgot to put the A1 sauce on it. They also gave me THE tiniest, onion ring on my burger. You’d think since there’s only one, they’d put a big one, but no. The Shrimp Alfredo was also super creamy and delicious. I’d like to come back and try some more menu items. I hope the service isn’t slow next time!

Visited on a Tuesday and TexMex special was offered, $4 off menu items. The meat on taco, enchilada and chalupa was over salted. Chips and salsa were good.

This was my first and only visit, and I had heard great things about it. The cheese sticks were phenomenal! However, the sweet tea was super weak, and tasted like bitter sugar water. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were made with sour milk, plus they were really runny. My friend that I went with had similar complaints about her food as well. The staff was great, and the restaurant was really clean, and had a good vibe, but the food left a lot to be desired. Can't say that I will ever go back.

I gave a two instead of a 1 because the young lady that delivered my food curbside was really nice. I ordered the stuffed avocado. It wasn't. Stuffed or an avocado. It was what mc nuggets are to chicken. Horrible. I took one bite and pitched it. The cheese bread was edible.

We are a little older. Not an excuse but we don't want to sit at a bar bistro table that is hard iron for a sit down dinner .. Took a long time to figure out where they would move us too even though we see quite a few table heck we would have even sat in patio. Finally seated. We ordered 2 coffees. I take cream. Brought me French vanilla cream. I asked for non flavored and was told they would look and didn't find any. So I said ask the bartender for some cream. Server came back and said they don't have any cream um. Excuse me but you have a drink on the menu that uses cream.... I worked at a restaurant and that blew my mind. Ridiculous.. Finally i asked for milk so anyway coffee cold and disgusting by that time. Got a burger and so overdone I could not eat it.. The dog ate well that night. Also if I had eaten the burger I would have found the wax paper that was under the meat cooked into it. Picture attached but didn't see it till we got home and was cutting some up for dog or I would have called over the server if we could find him...I also asked for no bun. Not an unusual request but when you put watery lettuce on a plate with french fries.... They get soggy and disgusting.. Fish and chips so greasy. Inexperience is what I'm chalking it up too. Can't read the signs of a unhappy customer. We had a great time the first time we went there but not sure we will be back after this visit..poor service. Terrible food. So many things could have made it better. Off night I guess?!

This is probably my 10th time coming to Teddy Jack's. It is always a pretty good experience, but today that changed. I was eating a California Turkey Wrap and bit into something with a weird texture. After unwrapping the tortilla, I found a wad of paper towels inside of my wrap. The manager did what he could to make it right, and I appreciate that, but this is still not okay. I won't be back.

Ordered a porker sandwich. Waite brought it out and the buns were completely soggy and falling apart. Of course brought this to attention. I received a new bun to assemble my sandwich back together. Fries were not fresh.

Saturday mid afternoon. Hostess told our party of 6 10 min wait. The restaurant was half empty, ten open tables in dining room plus two 6-8 person tables. After 20 min wait we were told the delay was the kitchen was backed up. Therd were at least six parties waiting for tables behind us.

Very dissatisfied with my meal. First time I have complained to the wait staff about my food. Manager would not have it remade or removed from the order but the manager wouldn’t leave the office to talk to me. Won’t be going back.

This place is overpriced and charges for salsa when you ask for chips and queso. The food is average. Just because you’re by a college does not mean you rip people off with the overpriced food and small quantity out of town that will never return. They must be really hurting to charge a price if they are.

This is an update to my previous experience, which was bad. I gotta say that I had a wonderful return thanks to the general manager, and his assistant made my visit. Wonderful my food came out fresh and hot. My chicken fried the steak was tender. My mashed potatoes were freshly made. Green beans were on point. My kids enjoy their quesadilla. The fries were fresh And my son. Spaghetti was saucy just the way he likes it. Our drinks were fresh. The burger was perfectly made and of course my son’s birthday cake was delicious. Thank you Teddy Jack’s for making this up for us. We greatly appreciate you and we will be returning customers. I highly recommended Jack’s. Their staff and their food is wonderful. Thank you for making my son’s birthday birthday special.

after sitting there for about 12 minutes and no one coming to ask me if I even wanted a drink. I just kept watching the Wait staff standing around talking to each other . I just left with out ordering nothing. still no one spoke to me.

We came from out of town for a tech football game and ate dinner here. This has to be one of the worst foods I've ever eaten. No words to describe how bad the food was. Pizza was chewy, burger was bland, cheese quesadilla was yuck - according to my 5 yr old who eats this everywhere we go. The fries tasted like they had been soaked in water, no taste whatsoever nor did it have any crunch to it. I guess people have accepted mediocrity and given this place 4.1 stars in the past but you should avoid at all costs.

We were really looking forward to eating here because the parking lot is always full, but we were let down when we finally ate there on Labor Day. They seemed EXTREMELY under staffed for a holiday. We walk in right behind a family who were immediately seated, then we just stood there and waited for about 5 minutes until the only host came back and sat us. Once seated, we waited another maybe 10-15 minutes for our server. Finally a second manager saw that we hadn’t been greeted yet (a manager previously walked by but didn’t acknowledge us) and the bartender ended up taking our table. He seemed annoyed he had to wait on us, mainly because he knew the table behind us and I overheard the bartender tell them he wished he wasn’t being seated. We had to sit with empty cups for about 10 minutes during our meal before he ever came for refills, and never did a table check once our food came to see if we needed anything. As an appetizer we had the fried mushrooms but waited about 30 minutes for them to come out. They were very hot but tasted as if they were frozen then fried. For entrees we had the Mother clucker chicken sandwich with onion rings and the brisket tacos. The sandwich lacked flavor and has way too much chicken than needed. It would be a lot better if it was just one piece of chicken. The onion rings were very cold like they had been fried before the chicken then just sat there on the plate. The brisket on the tacos was very dry and also lacked flavor. Honestly, we may never return.

Wait staff standing around talking. after the hostess sat me ,nobody ever came around. I got tired after 12 minutes and I left. I made eye contact with some of them but nothing.

We ordered cheese sticks and asked for extra marinara sauce. The kitchen wouldn’t let our waitress have it. We wanted 20 minutes for it. This has happened before. It’s very frustrating! They made our pizza wrong so we waited even longer. It will Be a while before we come back.

Food were bad except for fried mushrooms. we got Cajun pasta- there's nothing Cajun at all..chicken Alfredo pasta, tastes like any other frozen TV meals and taco salad...need some geezuzz seasoning! and paid for $75 dollars, but tastes like $20 total.so disappointing. I would give 5 stars for their bathroom, it's clean. 5 stars for serving fresh lemons! I hope you guys need to re evaluate your food menu... use organic ingredients...

Most definitely the worst fajitas I’ve had in my life. Look at the pictures and tell me that they do not look grey. And if you’re going to serve store bought tortillas, and least buy some decent ones. The only thing decent about this restaurant was the neon sign.

Everything was bad. Really if l can put 0 stars l can do it . But not l need to put 1 star, ⭐️ the food was not flavor taste like oils Hamburger and ring onions are disgusting tastes like oil. And the margarita mango tastes like alcohol not mango flavor, hamburger meat was dry my. Mother’s Day was horrible l never go back again.
