We have ordered takeout from here twice now. We love having a new place in our neighborhood for dinner! So nice that they have a drive-thru for take out orders. Everything we have gotten so far has been fantastic! The chips and queso is amazing. The portions are large and we have zero complaints! We found our new spot!

We order the quesabirria here often (probably too often lol) and we love it; had the Texas Delight plate once as well (also great). They’re very consistent, large portions in my opinion, and every time we call the staff are very sweet and friendly.

Pleasantly surprised as I was only expecting tacos, yet it's a full blown Tex-Mex restaurant with delicious offerings. Best part, the food tasted the way it's supposed too, beans and rice were on point. The salsa had a bit too much oregano in my opinion, but we still ate like three bowls, so definitely no complaints. The enchiladas were delicious and had the perfect texture. I only wish I tried more dishes. Staff was kind and attentive. If I'm back in Lubbock, strong chance I'll eat here again.

This place has the best enchiladas, with lots of cheese and sauce that covers all of it and so easy to cut them. Maybe not over cooked, is what made them easy to cut. The red sauce was not too bitter or spicy. Had the right homemade taste. Had beef filling. You had a choose rice,refried beans,bake potato, salad,papas, corn. I had the steak and shrimp plate with rice and beans with a Lil bit of salad. The best tender steak and big shrimp pieces. They also have a white cheese dip that was good. For dessert we tried the fried ice cream with choc.filled churros. Very good. Must try. Not a big place,it was busy, not noisy, clean ,didn't have to wait for service. The staff was friendly and patient since it was our first time. It was pricey but we'll worth it.

Everything was very good. The Flan is not what I call Flan. It had more of a cheesecake with a chocolate cake base. It was good, but if you are expecting Flan you may be disappointed.

Was driving by, and decided to stop in for lunch to check it out. Wasn't really expecting anything, but was pleasantly blown away! This was a legit taqueria! Everything on the menu looked amazing, I had such a hard time deciding. Went with the taco plate and was not disappointed! Everything was authentic, and prepared just as the way I was hoping it would be. The tacos were amazing, and came with a perfectly grilled jalapeno. The salsa selection was on point! The charro beans, Yes! The rice, Bam! Literally can't wait to go back and hit up the rest of the menu.

Came in at 1:45p. The Rice and Beans were PERFECTLY COOKED, and tasted very authentic. I had the enchiladas. The sauce is very mild and I can’t really tell, I think it is a tomato based salsa. Very mild. The service is impeccable. All in all, I give it 5 stars, and 9 stars for the food. It was HOT and delicious. The enchiladas sauce, I’m not use to, but not bad. You will enjoy this place. It’s yummy.

We hired Vallarta for my daughter quinceanera, the food and service was everything I could’ve asked for. We ordered for 300 people, three meats, charro beans, rice, and all the toppings for tacos. Lucero made this process so easy. Thank you!

Had the wuevos rancheros plate with nopales (pictured) and they were perfecto! My cousins had the chilaquiles, migas, and waffle plates. All highly recommended! And the coffee was magnifico!

Went here for the first time after a coworker recommended it very highly saying that it is the closest thing to authentic Mexican food that she has had in Lubbock. When I got there the waiter was very attentive to us and our food ready in 10 minutes. I got the taco suave with chicken fajitas and I was impressed. Overall my only complaint is the bathroom could have been cleaner. Overall would highly recommend and can’t wait to go again!

I had read some reviews and wasnt sure about the place... we came in with a party of 8 to which they quickly managed to put 2 tables together to accommodate us...the chips and salsa which was very flavorful and not spicy or watery were good.. The entrees we all ordered were very good and definitely and place to come back to.. the service was top notch to!! Definitely should check this place out!! Delicious

We did notice that they serve breakfast as well & have been told the burritos are excellent. Our food was good. Sadly in my opinion this Taqueria has gone downhill a bit , I ordered a dish that had skirt steak in it ( I can't remember the name of the dish ) ,the cumin was overpowering and there was so much grizzle it made it almost impossible to chew,the rice was dry.SMH

although the food was great we were honestly just thrown off by what they were using to transport the chips. As I am eating my chips I see them dumping the fresh chips from a GARBAGE bin into their serving bin near the front counter. now I understand that is probably their designated tortilla chip bin but that's still unsanitary in just every way possible.

The food was good, not great. The sole reason for 3 stars is the limes I got were completely dried out, I asked for fresh limes and was told they didn't have any. Made me wonder about other ingredients. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Plates range from $10 -$20+

I’ve tried this place three times, the third time was not the charm. The people and service is good but each time my food was not very hot, this time my cheese enchiladas the cheese was not melted just a big hunk of hard unmelted cheese.

As soon as we walked in all the waitresses are all just sitting there and they just look at us ..felt like we were intruding on them.. they did not greet us. We sat ourselves down. The waitress came over and you can barely hear her and no greeting just takes our order. Our food did come out pretty fast but everything was as flavorless as our waitress . The chicken enchiladas were okay. The barbacoa tacos needed a lot of salt and pepper as the beans and rice did too! We did order the fried ice cream dessert. The fried part was actually stale tasting and was not even warm. This restaurant needs a lot of improvement! Will not be visiting this establishment again!

We had a larger party maybe 11. Seated quickly at 10:30am. No chips or salsa offered and when we asked the waitress advised it was because breakfast was being served. (Other tables were being given chips) Fast fwd 20 minutes after drinks were served. (No coffee was brewed so they ultimately forgot all about my coffee) the waitress started to take our order and when we ordered breakfast, she advised they were no longer taking breakfast orders so we had to order lunch. And her entire demeanor changed to careless once we then again asked for chips since we couldn’t get breakfast. Besides a few forgotten items, and really dry food, the problem was her lack of customer service. And then added gratuity. She didn’t work for what she received but it’s ok we will take our business elsewhere. New customers in a newly opened restaurant should not be made to feel like we are bothering the staff.

The service here is pretty good and the atmosphere isn’t as bad as you’d expect from the way the outside of the building looks. Sadly, it’s the food that’s the issue here. The chips had no flavor, and the salsa tasted more of water than anything else. I had the birria tacos. The meat was chewy and had no flavor. The most flavorful thing here was the queso. Price-wise it’s pretty affordable, however you’re definitely getting what you pay for. I’d rather spend a couple more dollars and have a better meal elsewhere

Walked in and saw the sign to seat myself. Did so at a clean and open table. Waited around 10-15 minutes with waitresses walking around taking care of other tables with no recognition or offer of service. I left shorty after never having been offered anything or said anything to.

Called in a to go order...pulled thru drive. Vehicle in front of us placed order and sat and waited for their order! We sat in the line for over 10 minutes ro pick up order(only 2 vehicles in the driveway). The vehicle in front of us finally moved up about 5 ft. Got our order, drove home and of course the food was not good! Had been sitting to long. Will not be back! Do not recommend it!

The food was awful! Chips tasted like they came from a bag! There was no flavor in anything. We came for breakfast and the potatoes were very bland. The chilaquiles tasted like the same bland chips that came with the chips and salsa. The pancakes tasted like bisquick. We were very disappointed in all of the food. Will not be returning.

We decided to try this place out. I received my food and it was cold. The beans looked like they took them out of a can and dumped them on my plate. Chips and salsa not so great kinda bland. Service is ok. But An hour after leaving, my daughter got sick on this food. I do not recommend.

I heard that it was a good place. Just didn’t realize the chicken was out of a can. I know a good enchilada … i know what it takes to make a good enchilada!! Beans had too much red seasoning. And I understand that we need to pay our waitresses but when they wanna charge you per plate that I have a problem with.. not happy!!
