Taco Bell is dead to me now, this is the place for quick, inexpensive, great tasting fast food. And the Chilada reminded me but tasted better and was bigger than the enchoritos I used to get from Taco He'll back in the day at 2 in the morning. I wish there were more Taco Casas like the one in Lufkin, TX. Just needs a little music playing softly in the background.

Lobby was clean I usually go on the weekends mainly in the mornings before I go to work the boy at the register was really kind and cleaned the tables before I sat down really great service.

Delicious and Taco Casa does not skimp on the cheese and other ingredients as the other well known franchise does. Cost slightly more but you get what you pay for. Also, employees always friendly and place is clean as not the case with the other fast food TexMex places.

Reminds me of how good Taco Bell once was back in the day before their name became more well know than their food. I hope this franchise keeps it real. Great food for a great value.

If you don't like Taco bell but still want fast food tacos, this is the place to go!! Always made fresh to order, staff usually very friendly and drive through is one of the fastest in town.

Imagine "Taco Bell" made with fresh ingredients with a "handmade" touch to it. Thats basically what it is. Also, the Mascot is a little offensive; I didn't appreciate the Stereo Typical Mexican man artwork that is used for the advertisement.

Food is really good. Service is really good. Time from order to receive food is fast. Tea is awesome. Restrooms....eh, OK at best. Hours of operation need to be extended until midnight. Taco Tuesday was done away with which is disappointing. Frijoles Friday was also discontinued a long time ago. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great service, great food, fair prices (today was even better, it was something like National taco day and the regular tacos, normally $1.69, were only $1 each), plenty of seating -- and it was very clean in the restaurant. Oh and any size tea is just .99! It was very popular and people were still streaming in past 1pm. If you haven't tried it, stop in and give it a try.

I'm a Lufkin native but have been gone for awhile so naturally I had to stop at my favorite taco place and share the food with my husband. And, we were not disappointed. Same great taste, with the same great prices, and some of the best sweet tea.

Oh my goodness! This is one of my favorite places in town. The workers are average, but friendly, the restaurant and the restrooms are clean, the service is fast, and the food has a lot of great flavor with a relatively small price tag. I would also say that they have the best chips in town! Woot!

I broke speed limits in 2 counties traveling Beaumont back to Tyler and made it a point to get to Taco Casa before 10pm. I arrived at 9:51. The restaurant was spotless. I was greeted with a welcome and a smile and Miss Billie went out of her way to accommodate me. Taco Casa is the only fast food Tex Mex I've come across that has a fresh, hot menu free of MSG and additives that make me violently ill within minutes of consuming. As a customer, this is invaluable and I am grateful for this chain. I love that no matter which taco casa I go to I can expect the same flavor and never disappoints. Lufkin excels in delivering customer service.

Love coming here! Always fast friendly service and the food is great. I always get nachos cause they give you PLENTY of wooey gooey hot cheese on them or if to go in a container (awesome, no soggy chips!). If you dine inside your sure to notice how clean it is and the staff is always busy keeping it clean. I've never dined inside and seen a dirty table, floor or even the restroom. This is one restaurant I always feel confident bringing out of town/state family or friends to for a quick bite knowing they'll be impressed with the service and meal. It is a "fast food restaurant" but it sets itself apart from others.

This Taco Casa location's kitchen is always the most pristine of any restaurant! Their staff are all so good-natured and friendly. This is the best Taco Casa I've been to, it's one of our favorite places to eat in Nac. The food is always fresh!

Me and my Daughter always wanted to stop here so we did. Absolutely love love the tacos. The first bite after we left we both said, "We should have got more tacos" 😂 We live 50 miles away but we can't wait to go back.

We eat here just about every time we go to Lufkin. The food is good, the prices are good, and it’s quick. The staff is always friendly and the food is almost always correct, and if there’s ever an issue, we never have any problems with them getting it fixed.

We love Taco Casa and will go out of our way to find one. We took a 45 minute detour to go to this one. The location isn't amazing, but the store was clean, the tacos fresh with plenty of stuffing and cheese, the service fast, the cinnamon crisps super sugar-cinnamon-y. A win all around!

Absolutely love this place. Drive thru is always fast, they’re efficient and so nice. My partner ain’t a huge fan of it but I always come here when I’m in town on my own hehe

I personally am not a fan of Taco Casa, but they are always accurate, fast, and generous. My custom orders are always correct. When I say easy on the beans, they do it right. They are consistent, too. Always friendly. This is why I go here even though I am not crazy about it. Good job crew.

VERY RARELY do I give a rating and review to a "fast food" establishment, however this restaurant needs to be mentioned. If you frequented Taco Bell back in the 70's then you will recognized menu items that Taco Bell phased out in lieu of their "new" menu. Taco Casa has got your old favorites and they are good. Now not everything they have is the way I would prepare it, but the quality is there. Their Enchilada sauce is not my favorite, but that doesn't mean it isn't good. The sauce is made from quality ingredients and isn't just canned Chili thrown on a tortilla. My only complaint is that there is not a Taco Casa close to my house.

Just wanted everyone too know, the owner was friends with the owner of tacobell! Before it was sold to Pepsi. The taco casa owner...had basically the exact original ingredients of the original taco 🔔. Pepsi heard he keep the menu the same as there's and changed up all the ingredients!!!!!.....but taco casa keep its prices better and portions!! True story.

Taco Casa is known for the cheese. They should just call it Cheese Casa or Taco Cheese. They just mowed everything up with cheese and lots of it. This location opens early at 10 AM. That's great because my wife wanted Mexican eats and Taco Casa right there waiting for us. It was good too.

I've been passing by this restaurant for about a year now and intended to stop by but never did till today . I owed the super taco and it reminded me of the tacos we used to get as kids in Galveston . I was really impressed. I'm so glad I turned the car around and finally stopped!

Working in Lufkin Tx for the next 15 months and I had to stop in at Taco Casa. My favorite go to place for great deals and very clean place, well kept nice place and tables were all very clean and the gentleman who waited on was was very professional and friendly fantastic service and of course the Super Tacos & Tostadas were great.

Much better than Taco Bell, I dont generally like crispy tacos but these are my new favourite. They're actually crispy even if you eat your burrito or Chilada first, still crispy! Friendly and fast service, super duper clean dining room too.

Taco Casa is all about the cheese. I only wish that the taco meat was seasoned. The taco shells are great too.

My family eats here often. My only issue is the melted cheese. At times it taste watered down. I like cheese to be more on sweeter side than sharp more like taco bell cheese.

I prefer the super salad...it is pretty good with nacho cheese added to it. I also like the chiladas alright. This is a place for a fast snack in my opinion...not a great meal location.Taco Casa's sweet tea is the best. Their eatery has always been clean and the employees were very polite every time I have been there. No complaints except for when you order nachos you are expecting them to already be prepared and you not have to build them yourself...thats the purpose of ordering out....When you get nachos to go from here...dont be expecting to eat on the go cause you gotta build them first...lol...other than that its a good place...

I prefer Taco Casa to Taco Bell and I am very sincere in that because until about two years ago I had never heard of Taco Casa and I liked them the first time I tried them but now almost two years later I like their tacos and burritos better. I still love Taco bells steak quesadilla but I will most likely visit Taco Casa more. Plus it is way cheaper.

Really I wanted to give them 5 stars but we need a "Taco Tuesday Special" or local coupon. We can feed many with their delicious and nice size tacos. I was really surprised by the proportion and how well it replenished my hunger, with the basic food groups. Nicely seasoned to the taste buds. Yahoo... I will be back regardless of the prices. Serviced with a big Texas smile...

Taco Casa is my favorite fast food restaurant by far. Great, consistent food with a delicious hot sauce. That being said, the price has gone up considerably over the years without the daily specials they used to have. But, more importantly, the amount of food is lacking as well. I am always getting skimped on the amount of food being served now. Ever since the new owners took over a few years back there has been a noticeable difference. The food is still good Its just not what it once was.

I absolutely love the nacho supreme service was great sweet tea was perfect just wish food portions were better.

This was a nice place to stop for a quick lunch. The tacos were huge and absolutely delicious with a flour tortilla shell. Never had that before so definitely a big +++ in my book!!

I very much enjoy the taco light made with a flour tortilla. I have also had the guacamole and chips. The guacamole was good the first day, but not as good the second day. Their sweet is great!

The food is usually okay, though they have a tendency to screw up the order in the drive through very often. And I don't know who that blonde girl is, but she constantly throws attitude at everyone. I'm getting sick and tired of being sneered at by her and I honestly don't know why she's kept on. Most of the time, she's standing around talking down about her other co-workers or customers.

The food was good. However, after taking care to package everything to keep it from getting ruined, the cashier apparently turned the bag sideways, so the chilada I ordered leaked chili sauce all over everything

I always enjoy the taco salad and bean burrito here. Last night was a bad experience though. The girl taking my order at the drive thru was very rude. She was impatient and not all nice or welcoming. I know they were busy that evening but there is no need to be impolite. After she took my order I started thinking about what she said and it really angered me so I got out of line and left. I will probably go back but I hope she doesn't wait on me when I do.

First time here. We tried several items off the menu including the chilada, tacos, burrito, as well as nachos. My wife enjoyed the tacos, but mine had a stale shell. The taco meat was mediocre, and nothing special. There is plenty of lettuce and tomatoes on the tacos. The burrito and nachos were okay. The meat that they use is just dry. The star of the show was the chilada. Old school taco bell feel to it. The meat in this one is mixed in with sauce, so wasn't bad. We ordered large drinks, and they were gone pretty quickly. The large cups are smaller than most places. Overall we would go back. Service was fast and friendly, and the order was correct the first time. Good experience overall.

I'm not sure what happened tonight but we ordered 12 tacos to go and the shells are so stale you can barely chew them!!! Disappointing...next to homemade Taco Casa is normally my favorite place to get tacos.

Some of the food tasted like it had the special sauce. Threw it away. I won't go there again.

Drive through people are rude and may need lessons on how to take orders. The speaker can be hard to hear.

This place definitely isn't what it used to be, the service tonight was awful and it was dead, there was nobody in the drive thru. I still managed to spend 15 minutes waiting on 7 tacos and an order of chips and cheese. Which by the way, the new nacho chips are trash. Probably my last visit here.

Taste of the food is good, but this is the second time I've found hair in my food. The first time I shrugged it off as "it happens", this second time I had a hair at the bottom of my tostada and my daughter had a hair in the 2nd taco she ate. I always come here when I come to Lufkin, but now I will not be back. They should have their employees wear hair nets.

I usually go there right before I go to work. Never have a problem. Today I go in they were slow, getting people's order wrong at window. I waited while I watched them fix another customers order before mine and my son's. And I was there before the other customer. NOT happy with the service at all today. It will be awhile before I go back.

I get to my hometown after a over 5 hour drive.. I’m tired and hungry. I spend almost $30 at this place. I get home the Super Nachos consists of a big plate of chips and a big cup of cheese. I call and tell them what I have.. now I have to drive back to supposedly get what I thought I was ordering per the drive thru screen. My son comes back with the same chips and cheese which are cold at this point and all of the sides in a totally different plate. I asked for management instead the worker who answered the phone goes back and forth about this is how the nachos are served unless the customer ask them to be prepared all together… well had I felt like preparing my own nachos I would not have gone to a fast food restaurant. Yes I’m upset First how was I supposed to know I should ask? The screen shows the nachos all prepared. It may seem petty to others but to me I expect my food to look like what’s on the screen and as high is the cost of gas is I don’t expect to make 2 trips and still be unhappy. I won’t be going back for nachos for sure and due to the customer service I received over the phone I will not go back for anything else.

Price has gone up and portions have decreased . Burritos are a joke, Combo burrito today as big around as my thumb. I wont be back,,

I eat here at least 2 to 3 times a week. Always order Chilida easy mild sauce add sour cream. This order today was worst ever, they put extra mild sauce, no black olives, and only meat no beans. It was also cold. Horrible
