Papa John's

We havent had papa johns since we moved to Waller 6 months ago. Picked up my son from SHSU and took a route that takes me to the closest location. I ordered on the app and it said my pizza is ready when going in to pick it up...they said I had to wait a few more minutes. I waited for about 20 minutes.

The girl that works the counter at night is consistently rude when we go in there.

I like Papa John's because their crust is usually the best of the non-northeast pizzas, but i do not recommend this location at all. I've given them plenty of attempts but their dough/crust is always the worst (see picture). I'm assuming their dough is old and over proved in the walk-in or left out too long or a combo of both? Not sure but, the crust is always hard, super high and like 3 inches wide with all the sauce/ cheese n toppings pooled in the middle. I ate it because it was late n cold outside but a total waste of money. They need better managers.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience with Papa John's. The pizza crust was overcooked and tough, and the toppings were bland and lacking in flavor. Additionally, the delivery was slow and the online ordering process was confusing and difficult to use. Overall, I would not recommend Papa John's and will not be ordering from them again in the future.

It tasted terrible as well like the sauce and dough were old or something. The third pizza was as ordered but I will definitely drive a bit further to a different location from now on if i get papa johns at all after this.

Pizza was mainly dough with just a handful of cheese and toppings. The wing size were tiny and the bone were crushed in most of them. Will not return.

I walked in to order 2 pizzas and right off the bat the employee was scratching is scalp and then he went to make pizzas without gloves or even washing his hands. Another employee was wiping his sweat on his shirt and not one person had a hair net. Disgusting. At least be sanitary. Never again

I ordered the new Shaq A Roni pizza, some Original Bread Sticks, and a 2 liter Pepsi. The best part of my dinner was the Pepsi and maybe the bread sticks. The pizza was very thin on the cheese, pepperonis, and jalapenos. The lady working the register was very nice and polite. I would highly recommend going elsewhere for your pizza.

Horrible. After ordering delivery from this restaurant for years, they suddenly stopped delivering to our neighborhood. Apparently, the new manager decided she is not interested in easy deliveries (right down the road) with large tips an high margins because we technically live outside of the "delivery area." So after waiting 1.5 hours for the delivery, I called and she told me this. My kids are starving, and I'm picking up pizza from a local establishment that's better anyway. I'll never order from any Papa Johns again, and I'll make sure friends and family do not either. This place sucks. Now that I'm thinking about it, the garlic sauce is mostly cold every time we've ordered from this one too. Stick with Pizzalos or Domino's instead. Congrats Papa Johns on earning the first negative review I've ever posted. You did it.

I placed my order online for delivery. Once paid the wait time was quoted for about 2 hours. So I called to switch my order to pick up which didn't bother me, we just wanted to be lazy! The guy was super nice. He let me know they were just really busy. I completely understood. I asked when my order would be ready and he said 45 minutes. The phone call was at 7:14 and we only live about 5 minutes away. We left around 7:50. Pull up and this is what we see from our car: papa johns employee sitting on the curb smoking, a parked car with the papa John's delivery sign on top, 5 employees inside not doing much. We started to walk in and a girl employee ran out side to sit on the curb pouting, a guy ran after her asking what was wrong. We walked in and the cashier had her back turned, talking to another guy. She didn't know we were there. The guy finally stopped the conversation to help us. They were nice but for them to be "so busy" that it would take two hours for delivery seemed like BS with all the employees we saw doing nothing They didn't seem busy at all what so ever. I understand a lot can change in 45 minutes being worked in restaurants for 10+ years but for them to quote a 2 hour delivery seemed impossible with all that we saw pulling up. So we get our food and our mistake for not checking our food. The pizza was supposed to be half pepperoni but was all pepperoni. Not a big deal and I wouldn't have waited for a new one anyways. The buffalo wings barely had sauce on them. I mean like they were just drizzled with sauce and not tossed. And what really irritated me was the pizza was cold. The garlic sauce is always melted when I get papa johns since the pizza is so hot. Not melted at all. They shouldn't have quoted me 45 minutes clearly. On top of that I tipped ahead of time for delivery and they didn't take that off my bill but took the delivery charge off. I feel they should have asked. I also should have check the receipt before I left. We will never go back to this location which is a bummer bc it's so close to our house and papa johns is my fave pizza. I'll have to find a new fave pizza place close by. And also there was a little boy (I assume the cashiers son bc she was holding him as we drove off) was running around the restaurant. And the "manager" did not have a hat on. I'm for sure knit picking a few things I could have looked past had my whole experience not sucked. Also Papa Johns: I tried posting this on your customer feedback but would only allow 1200 characters and didn't know till after I wrote all this.

Living in magnolia, I’ve given this place a lot of opportunity to do better. I’ve had more bad experiences than good. One time it took two hours to get our order and it was cold. Another they brought us someone else’s order then the manager argued with me about it and I still got the wrong order. Last night was the last straw, I waited two hours for our order for them to say the delivery driver left it at the door. They did not, we were outside the whole time. They offered to remake and send it back out but nothing further and had zero remorse for my kids sitting hungry waiting on the order. Needless to say, I’m done with papa johns in magnolia.

Unfortunately, she wasn’t willing to give me her name but anyways. She told me “call back to the store when the drivers delivers the pizza to cancel and make sure you don’t receive a free pizza”. I wasn’t rude to the lady at all!! I told her that I shouldn’t have to do that as she could call the driver to instruct not to deliver the pizza anymore after canceling, then she just hang up on me. I called back to request for her name and she said that I can’t get her name because I was getting a free pizza after all but I never requested a FREE PIZZA! The “manager” was very rude and disrespectful. No manners to manage customer’s situations. I did receive my refund after all and no free pizza as I was going to take it back to the store the next day. Thanks for that!
