Seriously!!! Kind of hate to tell y’all but barbecue doesn’t get better than this. We tried the Loaded Brisket Baked Potato and the Sample plate (four meats) with pulled pork, ribs, sausage, and turkey. We’ve been to barbecue places in Austin, Dallas, Hutchins in Frisco, and Houston. This is hands down the best. The service was fantastic and the staff kept checking to see how we were doing. The sauce was the perfect blend of hot, tangy, & sweet. Lauren Daigel music was playing in the background; the venue was rustic. Prices were typical barbecue prices so $$$. We’ll be back for sure.

The barbecue pulled pork potato was EVERYTHING!! It was such a huge portion, but I could not stop eating it because it was beyond delicious! This is the best barbecue place I’ve been to!! Everything was cooked to perfection. All the employees were so nice and patient since it was my first time here. I loved the environment and I appreciated employees coming to our table and asking if everything was good. I honestly wish I could come here every day of the week to try everything they have to offer! I would highly recommend this place again and again! **UPDATE: I had to change my initial rating from five stars to four stars for the following. The bacon cheeseburger was just average, and had way too much mustard on it. I asked for a small size of fries, and I literally only got four fries. The kids portion had more fries than the small side did. Also, I didn’t like how they charged $.50 for a water cup, and their a bakery items are very pricey. It was about eight dollars per slice.**

Really enjoyed the bbq here. I like the choice between baked beans or pinto beans. The coleslaw is a homemade twist that will surprise your tastebuds. The bbq has a hickory mesquite mix. You can taste the smoke flavor but it is not over powering. I had the brisket and turkey plate. The green beans were really good as well.

The best ribs, fried okra, & fries I’ve ever had. The ribs were better than mine & are IBC quality - they thankfully do not fall off the bone, are flavorful, moist, & do pull off easy. The brisket was a little dry but we came late in the day so it happens. The ladies at the counter were awesome & very busy handling business & taking care of everyone. We will become regulars here!

Absolutely amazing!!! You must stop by here if you ever have the chance you will not regret it! I got the Frito pie burrito and I can eat a lot but I was stuck by the time I finished this! We also got the barbecue quesadilla which was amazing and the kids got burgers and steak fingers which they all finished!

We were looking for a place to eat lunch on the way home to College Station from the airport on a Friday. Driving through Magnolia, we stopped here based on reviews and this place did not disappoint! We pulled into the packed parking lot and walked in. The place was packed with law enforcement, workers and families. The atmosphere is lively and fun, very casual, and they have a deck with outside seating as well. I had the ribs with Mac & cheese and green beans. Hubby had chicken and sliced brisket with okra and potato salad. It was delicious! All 3 meats were juicy and well seasoned, both with spices and smokiness. My ribs fell off the bone. The sides were great, the green beans especially... Though the Mac & cheese didn't disappoint either. The staff is all SUPER nice and helpful and the owner was hilarious and came to check on us to make sure everything was to our liking. This place is a gem! Before walking out, we purchased a couple of their home made desserts to take home! I got key lime pie and hubby got blackberry cobbler. Now, he's got a CRAZY sweet tooth, and LOVES blackberry cobbler, but this particular one was a little too sweet. The key lime pie, however, was AMAZING! Perfect tart and tangy and just sweet enough. The fresh whipped cream layer on top and the key lime filling were both light and airy and melted in my mouth. The graham cracker crust was buttery and perfect. We live in College Station, but we will be driving back to Magnolia regularly to frequent this place. It's THAT good. We have BBQ places here, but NOTHING this good.

You come here for the Texan food with lots of parking. There is nothing fancy but it's Texan, it's good old charm. No fuss, good food and they know their stuff is great. They serve it with a smile.

This is the kind of spot that makes you grateful you showed up hungry, especially if you roll in on two wheels and need a meal that feels like a victory lap. The steak fingers are absolute trouble in the best way: crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the kind of hearty comfort food that makes you stop talking mid-sentence because your mouth is busy being happy. Then there’s the brisket, which brings the real BBQ credibility, smoky, juicy, and properly tender without falling into that sad “dry-but-we’ll-call-it-lean” category. It tastes like they know what they’re doing and they do it on purpose. The whole place also nails the motorcycle stopover vibe, easy to pull in, casual, friendly, and exactly the kind of food that makes a ride feel complete, whether you’re on a long haul or just out chasing good weather. Great brisket, killer steak fingers, and a perfect excuse to park the bike and eat like you earned it.

I stopped in here recently on a trip into Texas when traveling between Houston and College Station. I’m glad I did because they have some tasty BBQ. I wanted to get a good sampling of all their meats so I chose the four meat platter. It was quite tasty. I enjoyed their brisket which was tender, smoky, and tasty. That was probably the best of the four. Next the ribs were really good. They had a nice bark and just a drizzle of tasty BBQ sauce which hit the spot. Close behind that was their chicken. It was very tender and juicy and had great flavor. In fourth place was the pork. It wasn’t bad but just not as good as the other three. The sauce was a definite help for the pork. I really enjoyed the twisty fries as they were different and were pretty good as well. Overall I enjoyed this place quite a bit. Needless to say after eating lunch here I didn’t need to eat for the rest of the day! I was stuffed! The staff was super friendly and helpful when I place my order and provided great service while I was here. FYI be careful how you drive to this place as it is right at the merge point between two roads.

Ate here a few times, BBQ is really good. Last time we went, I had the BBQ quesadilla which was delicious. Only two complaints. The ranch is salty and the onion rings we ordered were over cooked and over salted. We ended up just leaving the onion rings there. 9 bucks for the onion rings. Also, I see photos of quesadillas on here coming with sour cream. Mine came with nothing.

PLEASE HEAR ME OUT! I have been known for harsh reviews due to being a chef. Yet here's my honest review, smoked well, flavor is lacking. Meat is tender and potatoes are cooked right, yet the meat is lacking flavored and seasoning. Im traditional texan salt and pepper only. But please use some. Pasta for Mac is over cooked, and cheese sauce is packaged tasting. Sauce is almost good but way too sweet. I got 1, singular, cut of brisket and 2 reheated ribs for a two meat plate. $22/tax plus my son had a kids plate of tenders(homemade and tasted good) and Mac $11? Two drinks walked out at $36... I felt ripped off for day old brisket and ribs and bland Mac. Im sorry but then to basicly be asked for a TIP by your clover pos(point of sale) system... I knownits hard these days but please consider taking a look at the product you put out. Cut your menu and focus on meat BBQ, trim the fat of extra staff and put the money back into having fresh bbq and smoke daily.

I had gone to this restaurant since it was in the building in front of the gas station. The food has always Been go but the service needs a over haul. When you order ahead but still have to wait 20-30 minutes to get your food. The drive- thru is more like a lottery on when you get your food. You can order just meat by the pound but several cars behind you get their food before you do and they claim is because their orders were less complicated. This has not happen to me on a couple of occasions but it is an on going issue every time I go to this place.

I had heard really good things but I was disappointed, the macaroni and cheese had zero flavor or seasoning, the potato salad had a good crunch with the celery, but left some sort of aftertaste. Their rack of ribs are more expensive than the other local barbecue establishment in Montgomery, and they were dry and a little tough. Also note when you order a two meat plate, you cannot order double ribs. Overall, the only thing enjoyable was the Lean brisket had a good flavor and taste .

They do veterans discount which is nice and cash discount. My husband and I got the BBQ quesidella. I added corn to mine. I asked that it not be all corn.. The kitchen didn't listen it was just corn and a little meat no Pico.. I sent back unfortunately. My daughter's pulled pork sandwich was dry and didn't look appetizing. She didnt care for it. The owner was nice. Too many amazing BBQ places close by.. Only one stands out above the rest.

We use to love this place but it changed. Meat portions are very small. Brisket was decent however ribs were small, Dry and over cooked. Makes us wonder if its new owners or something because they use to have large juicy ribs with nice bark. Brisket also use to be better and portions were decent. Our portions yesterday were unacceptable. It was like a $22.00 child's plate.
