Heirloom Cafe & Market

We found this wonderful place because we had become obsessed with the egg salad that Heirloom sells at the Tomball Farmers Market. We don't go north on 2920 much and had never noticed it.) When the young man registered our disappointment that they were sold out of the egg salad at the market one Saturday, he said, "they have it at our cafe; you could pick some up there". What!!!??? We went immediately and, like the other reviewers, couldn't believe the gentle and sweet ambiance, the welcoming staff and most importantly, the FOOD. Both chicken salads are out of this world, although I have a slight preference for the one with artichokes. YUM! The lunch option with salad, a scoop or sandwich, and soup is a terrific value. Look how big and pretty that salad is! I can never eat all of my lunch which makes my husband happy because I break it out for appetizers before dinner that night. I keep getting the soup/scoop/salad thing because it's so good, but I ventured out when we went on a Saturday for brunch and got what's basically Eggs Benedict on a jalapeno-cheese waffle. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! It came with fruit, and once again, I couldn't eat it all. Other people in our party got breakfast tacos and raved, and one of us got the pan-fried chicken cutlet and also raved. I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. The only thing I would ask other diners to consider is that one shouldn't go there in a big hurry. It's not fast food. It is made by hand with love and that doesn't happen in 3-4 minutes like a drive-through.

They serve breakfast tacos ALL DAY, and they are DELICIOUS! 🤤 And don't worry, they don't skimp out of the ingredients like other places! Plenty of cheese, big chunks of ham, fresh fluffy egg, and plenty of salsa!

🌟🌟🌟🌟 🌟 If you haven’t been here yet, do your taste buds a HUGE favor and check it out! 😋 Everything we ordered was absolutely amazing. **Hubby’s pick:** Lunch special—a juicy beef slider + French onion soup 🥪🧅 **Teen-approved:** Country breakfast 🍳🥓 He actually said he was full for once. **My plate:** French toast (one of the BEST I’ve ever had! 🥰) with creamy cheese grits, and peppered bacon 🥓 I also added a side of eggs because #protein. My hubby and son helped me finish my meal. 😂 My vanilla latte was also perfection and served in a beautiful cup. I expected big fluffy biscuits, but the smaller square ones on my son's plate were just as delicious! And those cheese grits? First time trying them—WOW! 👏 For once, I didn’t need to add salt or pepper because you don’t mess with perfection. We’ll definitely be back!

The Heirloom Cafe & Market is THE place to enjoy a delicious breakfast. You cannot go wrong with the brisket, potatoes and egg casserole. Every bite was a savory delight! The staff is friendly and the ambience is simply chic! Highly recommend this place!

Super adorable restaurant with such a cozy and welcoming vibe. The staff is absolutely amazing—so friendly and attentive, they made the whole experience even better. The food had that fresh, farm-to-table feel (not sure if it officially is, but it definitely tasted like it!). Every dish was full of flavor. The potato and tomato soup was a standout—so rich and comforting. The chicken and the slider both were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. Desserts were fresh and delightful—thank you so much for those sweet treats! It was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. And the tea served in the cutest little teapot was just lovely. Highly recommend this place. We’ll definitely be back!

Quaint cafe with friendly staff. I had a wonderful breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and fresh fruit along with a latte in a beautiful antique cup & saucer. I loved looking at all the heirloom pieces that they had as decor. I can’t wait to go back soon for brunch.

This is the sweetest spot to take friends for lunch! I have been here for events and for a casual lunch and have loved my experience every time! The food is exquisite. Service makes you feel like you are royalty. And the atmosphere is precious! Just so you know, you can prearrange a full course tea with friends fir $25 each! You get 3 courses and all the tea you want! We had the best time and it was well worth the money we paid. Lots of food and wonderful company! Heirloom Cafe is a must!

First time visitors here! My wife, son, and I had breakfast here for the time. To our surprise, this place is a hidden gem. We were welcomed by Arica. She was very nice and helpful with food recommendations. After a short wait, the food came out hot and the food presentation was excellent. Thanks to Arica for coming by our table to come check on us. The food prices were very reasonable! Our meal was around $44 for the three of us and that included a tip. Thanks for a great experience.

this is definitely a hidden gem for me in tomball. The parking is a little hard on busier days since it’s in a small strip with other businesses but the inside is very cute and the food is delicious! i decided to do the half salad, soup & sandwich and it was the best. Enjoyed a caesar salad, the green goddess sandwich and the country potato soup as well, 10/10.

The food....so delicious, the staff....so friendly, the atmosphere....so cute and quaint, the "store".....so fun! We went for our first time for a friend's birthday and was even given some yum cookies to celebrate her, how sweet! I was seriously considering ordering food to go after already eating haha, I can't wait to go back! With that being said, I really hope they sustain the same quality in subsequent visits as my expectations are now high for them 😄. Until next time (which will be soon)!!

This place is a hidden gem. Food - taste and presentation 5/5. Honestly one of the best burgers & biscuits and gravy you can get. Great service, great vibes. Highly recommend it.

Goodness me!, this is the place to be!!! Went this morning to celebrate a friends birthday. We were all very impressed overall. Atmosphere is cozy, food is delicious, oh my gosh and that syrup, WOW!. And the service 5 stars! ☆☆☆☆☆ Ms Erica was our server. She was very kind and friendly.

Absolutely loved this café! The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy your meal. The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant, and the staff are incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Five-star experience all around. Highly recommend! Well come back again.

We came in to try some breakfast and lunch, the young lady taking our order was very friendly and helpful. I ordered an omelette with grits, it came with their in-house made triple berry jam, and in house made biscuits everything was delicious and the biscuits were amazing! My bf had waffles and pan fried chicken, butternut squash and broccolini and macaroni. The chicken and veggies were awesome! They had delicious strong coffee, and they gave us complimentary cookies for it being our first time. The cookies made in house were one of the best cookies I’ve ever had, they tasted homemade and they were perfect. We had their oatmeal cookies with cranberries and nuts, they were magical. We also tried their chocolate peanut m&ms and another cookie I think it was the chunky boy, not sure what was in it but they were all delicious! The owner of the business walked to each table including ours and checked on our dining experience. I told her we loved the decor, with antiques, and the tea sets that other tables had. She said we had to try the tea next time. She was very nice and looked like she genuinely cared about everyone’s experience.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. The food is fantastic, the staff always goes above and beyond, the little market inside has tons of adorable gifts and fun kitchen stuff. The frozen ready to eat meals are amazing and you have to pick up a loaf of the sourdough- you can thank me later! If I could give it 6 star I would!

We stopped in looking for a place to eat after dropping our daughter & granddaughter off at the airport. The atmosphere is cute, nice and quiet (of course we were there before they opened). It was fun to look at the various items for sale - now to the important part the food. Quality food. It was good - a little disappointing after all the reviews I read. But on that note - it was breakfast. We live close to an hour away - so I wouldn’t drive out of my way to go there. Would we go there again after an airport run - probably (I would like to try the lunch options). Catering is their main business (we only know because they had a meeting while we were there, and they let us know why our food may take a little while). The drawback - plastic forks & knives it made it difficult to even cut my pancakes and open my fried eggs to eat them.

Wanted to try a new breakfast place and came based on the reviews. Parking was a bit of a challenge. Sadly, disappointed. Eggs were over cooked, they were out of sausage links and had a patty instead (barely warm). The cheese grits was far too salty and inedible. Best part was the good coffee. Won't return.
