I cannot say enough nice things about Pecos Grilling Company. From the Texan atmosphere and attentive staff to the large portions and affordable pricing, this is the place to check out! 5 Stars all the way!
They charge a very high grautite no matter what. Don't get me wrong the food is always great and I don't mind paying a tip but come on make sure I don't have to beg for more stuff. I only had one glass of water and we were there over an hour. By the time we left I was so thirsty. Plus it was my birthday.
Fantastic steakhouse. Prices were very reasonable, everything came out shockingly quick, and everything was delicious. Cozumel chicken was very tasty, the chicken itself was very flavorful. Crab cakes were huge and super tasty, the cheesesteak was a good size and had a lot of flavor, the beef was very tender and juicy. Chicken fried steak was also great, both with and without the gravy. I found the layout of this place to be kind of awkward, but it wasn’t an issue. It’s definitely a very close and personal seating arrangement though
My family and I moved to Tomball in July of 2025. We just found this restaurant tonight and it’s the first place in Tomball we’ll definitely be coming back to. Food was awesome. We ordered it as takeout being that we’re doing date night at home tonight. Can’t believe it was that good even after getting it all the way home. Wow. Definitely recommend this spot.
Oh my the chargrilled flavor on the nicely seasoned Ribeye made my night. I enjoyed the fried pickles and jalapeños as well. Try them together...so tasty. Our server was excellent. We were a large group and she served us well. Beverages were filled in a timely manner. She checked on us. And she engaged us in small talk. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. I hope to return.
This place is spectacular!!! Been here twice now and the experience is always top teir. Food is outstanding and the staff is even better. Our server Laurie was amazing, she was very attentive and super sweet! Will definitely be back in the future. (Forgot to take pictures of my delicious food but there Christmas decorations are adorable)
My daughter loves this steak house. This is one of her girlfriends only time top picks. My first time to visit. It is a country cute place with fabulous red meat eats. They do have other options, but my sweet daughter is with child, so whatever she craves is what we try to accommodate her with. Lol. We started with a refreshing glass of ½ sweet & ½ unsweetened tea. The Waitress was a bit busy, so it did take a minute to order our meal. We began with their hot yeast rolls, which they had brushed the tops with a light melted mixture of cinnamon suger butter. Yum We shared a 12oz, medium-rare, ribeye steak. Which was juicy, and perfectly prepared. I'm not sure if they seasoned it, (please don't tell the chef) but I did add a small amount of kosher salts. My daughter always likes a steak sauce for dipping. I chose a smal baked potato, but my daughter's whipped mashed potatoes looked very pleasing. The meal was very satisfying indeed. And we had leftovers that we did not waste by boxing them to bring home for a delightful snack that my daughter could enjoy later. I love my lunches with my daught, and this was a nice memorable time with. ~Thank you $35.++
The restaurant is very popular and has a great Texas-style interior. The service is warm and attentive, and the steaks are excellent.and the dessert after the meal was really good.
A gem of a find in our opinion. We had grilled salmon, chicken fried steak and beef tips with noodles for entrees. All of which were exceptional. They grill with the perfect touch of mesquite that compliment those dishes nicely. Portion sizes are plentiful, we did bring home some left overs. We did the fried mushrooms for an appetizer and they have plenty of other options. I can't say enough good things about the staff, they were exceptional. This will be our go to place whenever we're in town. Thanks for a wonderful meal.
Had a meeting at the restaurant. Laurie was a fantastic server and took care of our large group. I had the Cozumel Chichen which came with 2 sides. The chicken had great flavor and was cooked with care.
food was really good. had the brisket egg rolls and they were delicious. was there right before noon and it was full but not crowded. staff was friendly. took about 30 min to get our food and out of the 3 of us, 2 had appetizers only and the other had chicken fried steak. we had to wait another 15 min to get our credit card back. but all in all it was good and we will definitely be going back.
Visiting here for lunch today was an absolute delight. They even made the asparagus I requested as a side, seasoned perfectly with cayenne pepper and kept it nice and crunchy. The burger was fantastic—packed with flavor in every bite. The ranch dressing on the salad tasted homemade, which was a great touch. Thank you for the exceptional food and service!

We had not been here for quite a while. Very pleased. My steak was great, especially for the price. Service was super friendly and prompt. Wide variety of menu items that the kids were happy with. Save room for dessert!
This place was recommended to me by an operator at the plant where I was working this week. I had the prime rib. What did Diablo beans and the season vegetables, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Sat at the bar being alone and enjoyed the company around the bar that all appeared to be regulars as the staff all seemed to know them. Was a little ride from where I stayed down by FM 1960 but I have to admit it was definitely worth the ride.
We love the Pecos grilling company! They have a nice room for large groups if you need it for that, but the restaurant itself is also a great place to sit, but we actually prefer sitting at the bar. The service is always great. The drinks are always, and the food selection is fantastic and always tastes great.
OMG, the google reviews are correct. Reading them led to my wife and I stopping in for a visit. The restaurant is beautifully situated between oak trees off the highway 249 feeder road. When you walk through the front doors, it feels like the Big Cypress Lodge in Memphis, Tennessee. The bar is welcoming with tv's for you to unwind while enjoying your favorite drink with Laurie, the best bartender in Tomball. The sound systems plays a variety of music at a level that is pleasing without drowning your table conversation. We were seated immediately. Our wonderful waitress, Hanna, happily took our order and was attentive throughout our amazing dining experience. We started with the spinach dip which comes with tortilla chips and salsa. My wife ordered pot roast, green beans with macaroni and cheese. I had pot roast, boiled cabbage and diablo beans. We finished with carrot cake for dessert. Every bite was heavenly. Stop in and experience it for yourself. We will be back !!!!!!!!!
This place should be famous! The food was so good. Even the sides were freaking delicious. Make the trek or if you are in the area just go. Make sure you bring your appetite they dont play when it comes to portions. Which means if you are like me, you get to eat it again the next day! Will be going back may eventually even become a regular...so much to try! Love this place and the service was great too...Real hand crafted food. Even the rolls were made from scratch. Delgado approved.

The meat, the meat here is cooked very well rich smoky flavors, great sear, and tender. Sides will leave you a little wanting. I had the whipped potatos and the green beans. The potatos were good and fluffy, I could be wrong but they had an artificial quality to them. If they were artificial some of the best out of the box mashed potatoes you could get for sure if they were real potatos they lacked a certain pop you'd expect. Green beans were okay definitely prepared with real bacon so that's a huge plus but they also had that same feel to them as the potatoes. Obviously this spot can make some great food and if you are only in the game for the main portion this is a five star spot for you!!! Also staff was really friendly and welcoming. Great service even with it being busy. Atmosphere is exactly what you'd want from an establishment like this!
We tried Pecos grilling company for the first time today. Everything started out great! Our server was amazing! The rolls with the butter were fantastic!! Then we had side salads with their amazing ranch and fried pickles which were great! We had high hopes for the entrees but they were a little disappointing. We got the loaded baked potato soup which was pretty good, not great and the chicken and dumplings felt like a big plate of slightly grainy soup. The flavors were very mellow. It could have used some rosemary and thyme and maybe even carrots with less of the soupy base making the chicken and dumplings more the star of the show. It was all very one note. It needs more in depth flavors and some texture would be nice. The fettuccine Alfredo was kind of good but didn’t really taste like Alfredo. The fettuccine, dumplings, and baked potato soup all tasted kind of similar honestly. Nothing stood out and wowed us. My sister ordered the beef tips with mashed potatoes and that was pretty good but again not amazing. We all really wanted to love the food but it just didn’t happen, maybe we ordered all the wrong things.

Great, friendly service but was hoping for better food. The chicken and dumplings had good flavor and the chicken was tender but the dumplings had been cooked into small bits. The fried catfish (?). The plate was pretty but the catfish didn’t taste like catfish to me. It was soft and mushy and the cornmeal breading had no flavor and was falling off. The tarter sauce and sautéed spinach were both fresh and flavorful. Maybe we just ordered wrong but the catfish was featured for several plates.

This place used to be great. We have been coming here for a few years now and the quality of the steaks has gone down to a point where I sent my steak back tonight for the first time in my life. The bone in ribeye (a term used very loosely by this place. Should be bone fragment) was simply inedible. Our server was great, the steak was cooked perfectly but had so much grisly bits that every bite was chewing rubber bands. The steak looked like it had been frozen and thawed many times as the grains of the meat separated like an accordion. With a wood fire grill and good staff this place should be great but the quality of meat they put on the plate was bad enough that we won’t be returning.

And got a total of 4 whole asparagus each. Baked potatoes where normal size. And the stakes where super tender and cooked to the way we ordered them. But lacked on flavor majorly.
