Had the New Le Mans batch! Crisp, light and smooth - perfect for a warm afternoon. Also tried the Nurburg Cherry Sour, which was also very tasty. Great place, laid back with a great staff.
Love coming to this place! The beer is unique, clean bathrooms and the best bonus, it's dog friendly. We've come during slow times so our pup has a little relaxing time while mom and dad have a date drink!
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a local alehouse, and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with rustic decor and a vibrant crowd that added to the overall charm. The selection of ales was impressive, featuring a diverse range of local brews and classic favorites. Each drink was served at the perfect temperature and with a knowledgeable explanation from the bartenders, who clearly had a passion for their craft. Speaking of bartenders, they were exceptional. Not only were they friendly and attentive, but they also took the time to engage with us and offering recommendations based on personal preferences. Their expertise made choosing a drink an enjoyable experience rather than a daunting task. Overall, the combination of a fantastic beer selection and skilled bartenders made the alehouse a must-visit spot. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return, which is a testament to the quality of both the drinks and the service. Highly recommend!
A good stop for a beer with friends! Nice that they serve flights. They have activities certain days of the week that looked fun, like Mexican Bingo and book club. Tap room is upstairs, but there was an elevator for handicap access. Loved that they had the water bottle filling station. Nice decor.
Our favorite place!! Best brewery in Pflugerville!! Friendly owners and bar staff serving German style beer. Open feel and inviting with lots of seating inside and an outdoor deck. Tvs for sports, especially F1 and football. Also has the best lunch special in town $10 burger/beer combo and the food truck is awesome
Great local brewery with tasty German beers and very friendly staff. Plenty of seating and in a cool, historic location.
Great beers and really cool electrical conduit art on the ceiling. Also, a great place to watch Formula One races.
This little gem is in the heart of Pflugerville. Wonderful staff, great beer, and a delicious food truck. This establishment is family friendly and great for big group gatherings. We love coming to watch some football and meeting friends. We’ve brought our kids and have brought card games. It’s always been a great experience. Can’t recommend this place enough!
Pros: Fresh bang bang tasty beers 🍻. German beers are the highlights. Cool offers all week. Industrial setup adds the charm and warm tone needed. Loved the Pilsners. Food truck is apt and have good choices. Staffs, especially is a cool dude. Loved the place showing F1 and other sports. A welcome place for any day. Cons: Nothing
Great beers. Great place. Jordan was the best. If you’re in the area you need to check it out.
Always a great time! Cherry sour is the best, hubs loves the pilsners. We have met the most interesting people here and the service is top notch! 10/10 recommend
We love coming here, even the baby. The beer is always solid and the staff are always so friendly, especially my Saints bartender 😜. I also love that if I’m not in the mood for beer and want wine, they have that too!
The parking is a little rough, but I did come on a Friday. That's the worst thing I can say about Prost, other than it's too far from my home. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Every tasting that they were gracious enough to provide tasted unique and tasty (those that visit craft breweries often, and come across amateurs, know how many of the beers taste too similar). The Durango was my favorite. They have an associated food truck on site which I did not try, but observed the burgers and fries to be delicious and my neighbors at the bar raved over and they tried the pizza rolls for the first time and I overheard they'll be ordering it again. The vibe is industrial and the wood furniture and accents along with blue velvet(?) warm up the space. They have multiple TVs staged to watch ball sport games and some board/card games available to borrow. Various Buc-ees snacks and bags of chips were behind the bar for sale. The ELKAY drinking fountain/bottle refill station with glasses right there was sustainable and classy. Finally, perhaps one of the make or break items on my review list: the bathrooms. Two real nice unisex bathrooms with urinals and toilets... The black and white tiles were so fitting, the mirrors were new with some fancy features that didn't make a difference... except maybe the backlight thingy. Both air hand dryer AND paper towels. And SO CLEAN. I don't know when my expectations lowered for brewery bathrooms, but I walked in and thought "Damn. I see you Prost Alehouse. I see you." Make a trip. Stop by Prost Alehouse Texas. I'm glad Barks for Beers '25 revealed this Pflugerville secret. Cheers!
Cool spot! Historic downtown brick architecture. Friendly bartenders, laid back atmosphere. Big pours. I like the hoppenwasser! (Great German name!)
I have really enjoyed Prost every time I have been there. The Brewery itself has a great theme, and it is located in a great area. The beer is very good and the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend. PS: they have a great food truck out back.
Great classic German beer styles and some wild cards. I had a great time with Marisa and JJ slinging suds and making conversation. Here to next time, PROST!
Tonight’s service with their soft opening for PCDC - Pflugerville Community Development Corporation was a success. It was an awesome experience to learn about the owners and their brewery. We definitely received the VIP tour of the actual brewery. I was fortunate enough to come as a plus one with my wife who works for the PCDC. The ambiance of this place is awesome and beautiful. There is plenty of seating inside and soon to be outside as well. It is a historic building so this place has a lot of history. The owners went into detail about how old the building is and what it is used to be back in the 1800s. During the tour of their brewery they went explain how their beer was made and the amount of time it takes to make the perfect brew. I was honestly intrigued about the process. I never knew the process was that complicated. When you walk into the building you will see their brewery to the left and their pub is up the stairs to the right. They will have their own brew on taps and will have a lot more of other brews to offer besides their own. But I was really impressed with their own brew they gave us. Their Cherry Sour was a bit tarty at first (not for me though), but after a few sips you enjoy the flavor. It was very smooth in my opinion. Their hefeweizen brew is not your average hefeweizen, but it was really good and tasty. Their German-style Pilsner was very smooth and delicious. They have a huge deck and patio in the rear of the building. The double steel rear doors are a bit heavy to open. I can see a lot of folks who might not like that. But you get used to them as you walk in and out of the deck/patio area. They also have an elevator available for folks who cannot walk a lot of stairs. The layout of the facility was pretty well thought out for what they could do for a historic building. They definitely kept a lot of the original look with a very beautiful modern touch. There are plenty of TVs all around the building so I can see potential of this place showing all the games throughout the sports season. The staff and the owners are awesome, very friendly, and communicate well with their customers. One of the bar tenders explained that’s one thing he loved about the place. It was going to allow him to communicate with customers more compared to other places he has worked as a bar tender. The owners did say they are going to offer a food truck service as well in the future. I just very happy to see Pflugerville growing with a locally owned brewery. It’s something the downtown has been needing for quite sometime to spruce things up a bit.

Loved every about Prost. Beer was really nice! Even my wife liked it! They have a lot of beer already for being pretty new. The service was good as well. They are starting to have a food truck come and serve too. Check them out!

If you're looking for a quality beer experience that's approachable, delicious, won't break the bank, and made by people who care about what they do, please come to Prost Alehouse in Pflugerville! This brewery is unique and nestled in a historic Building. Jordan the bartender is the best! I don't know what's better, the beer or the service! Come support local and have a beer at this must have spot! PROST!!! 🍻
Definitely the best beer I’ve had in the Austin area. Cool place too, the beer flights are designed like a gear shifter. Board games, snacks, great beer, all the good stuff! Definitely worth a visit and worth a drive!
Prost Alehouse has an incredible atmosphere — lively but relaxed, with the kind of energy that makes you want to stay awhile. The outdoor space paired with the food truck out back creates the perfect setting to enjoy a pint. It feels like a spot where the community comes together over good beer and good vibes. Also, Durango 95 is the beer to get if you love IPAs!
We love this place! Great beer, especially since they got their new brewer. It's a great looking location too with a really good food truck. They also have lots of sports TV and routinely play football, soccer, racing, etc., but it doesn't feel like just a sports bar.
Dogs welcome is a huge plus! The tap room is nice. The brew is very euro-style.
My husband and I are avid beer people so we were so excited to check out Prost! We loved the vibe of the space plus the staff were really great, but there were a few things we were disappointed about. We wish the space was more kid-friendly (as many breweries in Texas are). The taproom is located upstairs which meant we couldn’t bring our stroller up, but there was some space to leave it downstairs. If it had been busier, I would have been a bit more concerned about this. There also weren’t high chairs for our toddler, or many non-beer drink options. The food trucks are only open for certain hours during the week, and I would recommend only going during those hours if you have a hungry or bored toddler with you. The beer itself was the thing that let us down the most. Prost has a lot of different styles that you don’t see so much in the area, so we were excited about the diversity, but we weren’t big fans of their take on those styles. That’s just personal to our palates, so we know the beer is definitely enjoyable for others. We would definitely come back to try it again soon, and it’s still a place I would recommend anyone to visit!
