Amazing Punjabi cookery class! Attended with my Mum who treated us both to the class as a Christmas present! We both consider ourselves enthusiast home chefs but there is always something new to learn! Amjad, Rawat and their amazing team made us feel super welcome and not only taught us how to make some amazing dishes but explained the cultural and family significance behind them. For Starters we were taught how to prepare Punjab Chickens Lolipops and Lamb Chops. For Main we taught the traditional way of cooking Lamb Karahi and Chicken Jalfrezi - easily some of the tastiest renditions of both dishes we’ve had anywhere! Best of all the team showed us how to prepare the food using readily available ingredients and home cooking facilities! The team also demonstrated how to prepare their version of Pilau Rice and and how to cook Naan bread in a Tandoor oven (also explaining how to cook using a normal oven given that most people don’t have access to a Tandoor oven at home). Once the cooking was done we had lots of time to enjoy our delicious creations and chat amongst our new friends we made during the class! Can’t recommend Zouk enough for its ambience, delicious food and friendly service! Attending one of their Cookery classes is a worthwhile experience that I would recommend to anyone with a passion for Indian and Pakistani cuisine! Thanks guys! 🥘🍢🇮🇳🥘🍚🔥🫓

I had such a beautiful experience at Zouk Tea Bar & Grill. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, vibrant, and inviting the kind of place that instantly makes you feel relaxed and looked after. The food was absolutely incredible. Every dish was full of bold flavour, beautifully presented, and cooked to perfection. You can really taste the quality and care in everything that comes out of the kitchen. But what truly made the visit unforgettable was the staff. The team were so attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and they made us feel valued from start to finish. If you’re looking for amazing food, a lovely setting, and service that goes above and beyond, this is the place. I can’t wait to come back.

We went for a cooking class here and loved it. Would highly recommend it. The staff are all lovely, especially the owner who is very personable and has some great stories and insights. We will certainly be back to zouk and be trying some of the recipes we learnt. Butter chicken was next level! My only feedback would be - it felt like we made a lot of food so it would’ve been nice to be able to take some home instead of try to eat as much as possible there and then.

Did the ‘British Favourites’ cookery class and had a blast. Honestly, one of the best cookery classes I’ve ever done and well worth the cost. Quite hands on, and learnt so much that I’m excited to put my new skills to the test in the future. The owner was super lovely and the whole team were really welcoming. Walked away feeling really full from all the food and was able to bring some home, which I had for lunch the next day. Il definitely be back again soon and would love to try one of their other cookery classes in the future. Highly recommend.

Visited for their January offer: Bottomless Curry & Rice for £20pp. Food was great (as always) and they had a good range. There were vegan and veggie options which is important (I’m Vegan). Staff were attentive and friendly. Will always return as it’s a great spot for food and drink.

I ordered the Lamb Shank Curry, Grilled King Prawns, and a Plain Naan with sesame seeds. The lamb shank was outstanding, tender, and fell straight off the bone. The naan arrived hot and the chef was kind enough to add seeds on request. The prawns were full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The food carried deep spice, great texture, and rich aroma. The ambience was warm and stylish. Staff were polite, though more welcoming recommendations would help. • Lamb shank was tender and rich • Prawns were cooked well and full of flavour • Custom naan was a nice touch from the chef • Lovely ambience and great flavours

Amazing experience and lovely food as always. The staff are so generous and owner such a friendly person and down to earth. Third time having Sunday roast! Well done to the chef preparing our meal.

Loved it! The food was absolutely delicious perfectly spiced, just the right level of heat to enjoy every bite. The staff were incredibly attentive, and we were looked after by a lovely young lady with glasses who went above and beyond to make our experience special. I asked for a personalised dessert, and she put so much care into it ,truly appreciated! Highly recommend!

Always have the best time at Zouk! The food is always 10/10. Such a great atmosphere and nice vibe. Great restaurant to go on a date night or with friends.

Amazing food ! We ordered the sharer platter which was absolutely massive and we had to take a doggy bag home with us. Chicken and lamb were unreal - the beef was a bit tough but not enough to put you off. It was very quiet when we visited (3/4 tables) but it did seem to pick up as we were leaving and if we’re ever back in Manchester I’d revisit for sure !!

We had such a wonderful experience at Zouk!! The food was absolutely delicious full of flavour, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted amazing and the whole place has such a lovely vibe. A special shoutout to Lily, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. She really made the experience feel extra warm and memorable. Highly recommend Zouk if you’re looking for great food, great service, and an overall amazing dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience to complement our brand launch! The canapé’s and cocktails catering was exceptional — from presentation to flavor, everything was thoughtfully executed to perfection. Guests were impressed by the options, which offered something for everyone, including delicious vegetarian selections. The custom cocktails and mocktails added a memorable touch to the evening. The presentation was excellent and was matching our brand’s aesthetic. The staff was very understanding and helpful and made sure all of our needs and requests were mer. Highly recommend for any event where quality, service, and style matter. Thanks once again!

I've been here many times because of the delicious food and elegant, quiet atmosphere – lamb curry and cheese naan are my favourites. The drinks being a bit too sweet is just a tiny, trivial issue.

This place is really good and has amazing decor. The food I ordered were the lamb laziz, chicken karahi and biryani which were all delicious and also the dessert warm pistachio scouffle that was impressive. The staff were kind too. Highly recommend this place for those who eat asian dishes.

Just discovered my future lunch venue , as a Visiting Lecturer I cover some modules at the MMU. This is going to be my favourite stop to rest and recharge. Loved the food, fresh, deliciously cooked, you can taste the herbs, nice portions, well done chefs👏

I wrote the review below in February 25 and back again in September 25. Quality unchanged. Simply amazing.. On a trip to Manchester many years ago I went to a fantastic Indian restaurant, today the restaurant rediscovered me, I just happened to be in the area and recalled the fantastic food I have then and was not disappointed this evening, the standout for me was the tarka dahl maybe the best one I've had in ages.. Modern and unfussy sort of place, great service from what appears to be a seamlessly joined up front of house team, the chefs aren't bad either 👍👍👍

The Maharaja breakfast was definitely the highlight! A classic English breakfast with a nice spicy kick is just what you need if you want something a little more desi but sticking to the traditionals. We really enjoyed this one and would definitely get it again! We also tried out the traditional desi breakfast; Halwa Puri! The puri's were perfect! Soft and paired nicely with the chana, the halwa was slightly disappointing as it was on the drier side to our liking but maybe thats just us and prefer it drowned it ghee 🫢 Honestly though the drinks made up for it, the Summer Dream is definitely one try 😍 We also enjoyed the Pistachio French toast with and got some extra Pistachio sauce 😍 They also give you the option of how well you want your French toast cooked! Whether you want it more on the soft side or more on the toasty side, so something for everyone! I think we may need to go back and try out their other menu's because it all looks 👌🏽

My friends & I visiting from the USA came here last night for sheesha, drinks, & trinity cream dessert and it was so nice they provided heaters & blankets. It was cozy & such a good time the waiters were so friendly. The next morning we came for brunch and had a mix halal, Indian, & British food. Again most gorgeous atmosphere, great service, & beyond affordable prices. Don’t let the gorgeous posh set up steer you away the prices are so good. The owner came down and greeted everyone & it was beautiful to hear the history and family dynamic in how this restaurant came to be. I have no complaints. Great foods, gorgeous bathrooms (bidet as well), great service, aesthetic gorgeous environment.

We booked online for the valentines meal and the voucher stated they will hold you table booking tine for 15 mins. Due to traffic we ended up being an hour late, but despite being extremely busy they still managed to accommodate us. Very busy, and despite that food and service was great!

Prior to this visit- we have been on a few occasions, also the Bradford branch was a favourite years back. We visited Zouk Manchester for their Sunday Roast today and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. It wasn’t too busy when we went, which made for the perfect relaxed atmosphere. The food was incredible. We ordered the mini lamb roast and the chicken roast, with extra sides of chips, mash potato and mac and cheese — every single dish was splendid. Everything arrived on time and was cooked to perfection. The service truly stood out. The manager was completely on the ball, making sure everything ran smoothly. The owner also introduced himself and went around the tables checking that everyone was comfortable and happy, which was such a lovely and personal touch. It really elevated the whole experience. A small point for others: restaurants of this calibre are often best enjoyed during weekdays or daytime sittings. Busy peak periods can sometimes hinder the quality of service (as reflected in some other reviews), but our visit was spot on. We’ll definitely be returning!

Fantastic experience at Zouk Tea Bar & Grill. The food was top quality, full of flavour and beautifully presented. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and well prepared, and the menu has a great variety to choose from. The alcoholic drinks were amazing, really well made and a perfect match for the food. The atmosphere throughout the restaurant is lively and enjoyable, making it a great place for a night out. The shisha garden is also very good, comfortable, relaxed, and a great space to unwind after your meal. The staff were excellent throughout the evening, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend Zouk for great food, great drinks, and a brilliant overall experience.

This restaurant is amazing! The food is delicious, and most importantly, it’s very clean—they are extremely hygienic. I’ve tried their Indian grills before, and today I had Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, fries, and Dynamite Shrimp. The food and service were 10/10. I also had the pleasure of meeting the restaurant owner—he’s a wonderful person. I highly recommend it to everyone, especially Arabs. Thank you to them, and I wish them all the best!

Dined here after a show at The Palace Theatre which is a very short walk away. Cannot fault it in any way. Although it was seriously busy we were welcomed within seconds of arriving by immaculate, friendly and smiling staff. Beautiful surroundings, great atmosphere, service and food. Had the Bottomless Curry menu (January offer) which had chicken, lamb and vegetarian dishes. Loved that the owner was visiting the tables for quick chats and checks. Perfect. Wish we had taken photos, it's a stunning venue. Quick toilet mention. Pristine, heated seats, a little higher than usual and (I think) a little flexible movement of the bowl (😂).

We’d been to an exhibition in Manchester and I’d seen Zouk online before we went. Their menu and the attractive website immediate me in, so we visited today. Firstly, the premises are very fresh and modern inside and pretty large, this place does deserve to be busy ! My Wife had vegetable tiffin, I had the meat version. For those who aren’t familiar, this is a naan, with various little metal posts containing differing curries, samosas, onion salad, etc., The food was absolutely beautiful, very well cooked and some great flavours. We also had dessert, I had a chocolate and hazelnut cake, which was sublime. Special mention must go to our Waitress, Kiran, who gave us possibly the best service we’ve experienced in a long time. Very informative about the food and very helpful in navigating the menu. She has a natural ability to speak with people and make your visit special. She was amazing ! Many thanks to all at Zouk, we will be back soon !

Me and my partner came for a Valentine’s Day meal, it was a set menu which we didn’t realise but wasn’t an issue, we had booked out table for 6, arrived at about 6:10 (we did ring ahead multiple times) and when we arrived we were told to get a drink from the bar. We gathered we had to sit at the bar and wait to get seated as no one had explained this, and waited 40 minutes for someone to come over and ask if it was a table for 2. I understand it’s Valentine’s Day and extremely busy, however we had assumed we would have a table reserved when we got there, as that is why we booked ahead. The food was beautiful, warm, well seasoned, and came out in a really good time to each other (starters mains etc). The menu had the price at the top (around £40) but did not specify if this was for one person or two, it being a family style dinner and us sharing the meal (it was price per person). An issue with the service is the staff would come to clear our plates, didn’t speak to us or really look in our general direction, and we had to ask for the bill 3 times, a staff member who made eye contact with us and heard us ask continued walking as if she hasn’t heard us. The venue is beautiful, one note is that the tables were quite close, meaning it was a squeeze when the waiters would clear the table for us for us and the table next to us. The tables were slightly small for the dishes being put down, often having the plate partially hanging over the edge of the table. There was a service charge which was ‘optional’, however we weren’t told about this until we saw it on the receipt after payment. We would be happy to pay this usually, except we didn’t feel the service was exceptional and it was a 10% increase on the bill. There was live music just before we left, however it was stationed in the bar area and very difficult to hear in the seated area to due the noise by customers. Overall it was a good experience, we will have to come back on a day without a set menu to get a real feel for the place, however I feel an explanation on the course layout and a smile from the staff would enhance the experience in the future.

Restaurant itself was nice but unfortunately at the time we went it wasn't very busy but it was early evening. Starters weren't particularly to my taste but can't fault the presentation. It looked fantastic. The saviour was the main courses. Beautifully presented again and the taste was perfect. Mocktail was really good too albeit they didn't have the smoke box it was supposed to come in. 24k gold cappuccino was the icing on the cake. Finished the meal perfectly. Will be back no doubt.

We visited Zouk based on its popularity, and we’ve wanted to try it for a while. We didn’t need to book in advance as we went at a relatively quiet time - it was around early dinner time. Upon arrival, we were seen to by a member of staff who showed us to our table. Zouk offer a variety of (halal) savoury and many desert options, as well as a wide array of drinks. We ordered sliders for starters, and chicken steaks for our main, plus a mocktail and coke. The drinks were great - no complaints. The sliders looked yummy, but they weren’t very flavourful. They didn’t have any sauce. The cheese giving the most flavour. Nevertheless, the mains were tasty. The chicken didn’t have skin, which was fantastic. And they had a decent amount of sauce on them. The sides were yummy, however the boiled veg could have been chopped a little finer. It contained whole baby carrots, baby sweetcorn, and broccoli. The house sauce was delicious - highly recommended! Overall, we had a positive experience at Zouk, and we have already recommended this place to family and friends.

Visited Zouk recently — the kebab was very good, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. I also tried the biryani, which was decent but not quite as impressive as I expected. The highlight, though, was definitely the sheesha — smooth, well-prepared, and really enjoyable. Overall, a nice spot with great atmosphere and quality food, though the biryani could be better. Would still visit again, especially for the kebab and sheesha.

Fantastic food. Was a busy busy atmosphere. Was quite chaotic. Went about 4-5pm on a sunday. Food was fantastic. Did the £60 for 2 roast and lots of food. Chicken and beef was a bit over cooked and dry but lamb was perfect. Good value for money

The food was amazing although quite expensive. Specially loved the dessert section despite feeling 9.5£ for each dessert is horrendously expensive. What made us a little disappointed with the staff was, that they didn't give us the weekday 12-4 tiffin lunch menu as they were cheaper. We felt that's a trick so that we are forced to get the ala varte expensive menu. The staffs were otherwise very good. Love the service received. However, it's quite loud and noisy. Saying that, some people might love it! So overall, it's reasonable dining with friends. May be not for family so much.

Zouk was recommended to me by my friend, as a place we should visit when I come to Manchester. The atmosphere was welcoming and I loved the flower wall backdrop at the entrance. My friend and I took a lot of lovely pictures there and it was cute to find out they spelt out Zouk on it. The staff were pleasant and professional. The food was good, I had the Tandoori Mixed Grill as appetizer, Salmon with Gunpowder Chips and Garlic Naan Bread. The star of the show were the cocktailss! I had two Passion Fruit Mojitos and a Strawberry Daiquiri, they were that good, yuumm! The negatives were the high service charge, already paid before noticing this and the staff were so eager to get our order, we felt quite under pressure as we had just got in and hadn't settled in yet. I recommend Zouk and I'll definitely visit when next I'm in Manchester especially for the cocktails.

We revisited Zouk after many years. The pickle tray at £4.95 was extortionate for what it was. To start the Tandoori Mixed Grill (3 pieces of chicken, 1 seekh and 1 lamb chop) was average. The Dynamite Shrimp sauce was good but the batter was too firm. The Mains were good including Chicken Karahi and Lamb Sultani. The latter was a good portion. The kids grilled chicken/chips/peas went down very well. We may return for the mains.

F
Faisal Parkar

I had a lovely meal but the main course took a while to come out. The staff were helpful and very polite. The food itself was nice. The lamb biryani was probably the best from our order. I think it is expensive for the food and portions but it is in central Manchester. There is NCP parking near by so very convenient to park up and walk across.

R
Rachelle Matakanure

As for aesthetic the place is very nice and the atmosphere was good I liked how it was a bit dark and not bright in the restaurant so it nice for photos but the curry’s we a bit bland the weren’t bad but lacking seasoning and flavour. The staff were nice and the service was fast. However when it came to paying they added an unknown service fee we noticed after we had already payed.

Always wanted to try the Sunday roast platter as I had seen photos of it. Unfortunately, it did not live up to expectations. The lamb was amazing, the thicker slices of beef were a little tough. Couldn't comment on the chicken as I didn't have any. Potatoes look good but were far too salty (not sure what seasoning was on them but it spoilt them). Veg a little too al dente for me but that's personal choice. Plain gravy tasteless and the spicy gravy just okay. Most disappointing were the Yorkshire puddings though. Hard, barely warm and definitely frozen! Wouldn't recommend the platter nor would I have it again but probably would go and try a curry next time. Venue is nice enough. Was a couple of tables who were loud which would have been off putting if you were sat next to them. We were a table of 6 adults squashed into a booth (yes there was a chair at the end of the table but with the drinks and the food on the table, there was hardly any room for plates, mine was right on the edge of the table). We did have to keep asking for the empty glasses and bottles to be taken away as were struggling for space on the table.

I have long time to order from Zouk . I said to order today again but I am really disappointed with the Chicken Bryani I took one bite of it is really without any taste and I don’t know if they change the Chef , but definitely I don’t recommend the Bryani 👎. Don’t wast your money . The butter chicken it was really nice I recommend it and the naan bread too .

Came with a group booking, had a bit of a shaky start as we had reserved the upstairs seating area, although no wheelchair access was available. Staff were friendly, food was served promptly, wasn’t a big fan of the starters or dessert although mains were quite tasty

B
Bilal Faruqi

Came for iftar buffet. The food was really nice, however with the price set at £30 the variety was not enough especially if you compare other buffet places in the same price range. Roasted potatoes ran out and were not restocked. It felt like the place could not cope with the buffet setup along with the number of customers, was very congested and had to stand like stick men with not enough room to manoeuvre. Everything with staff was all over the place, as if they had not enough staff (however the staff were polite and nice). When customers come they should be told the format of the buffet, given drinks menu which we had to ask couple of times.

Very mediocre spot. The food lacked character and the atmosphere was horrible. They had people in the upstairs area literally screaming and whistling throughout the whole meal. We ordered the Sunday roast platter for 2 people. You pay £60 and you receive 5 potatoes, 7 carrots and 5 pieces of broccoli along with the tiniest pot of gravy and not much else apart from the meats. Shocking value for money, not worth the price at all. The little vegetables you got were just boiled or steamed, no seasoning on them whatsoever. The lamb was okay, can’t fault it, the beef was tough and the chicken was nicely cooked, but it was cold. Although it looks good on picture, in person it is not worth the price, it lacks flavour, and it lacks quality to be honest. It was all very bland. There are other Sunday roast spots across Manchester for way cheaper that are miles better than this. Would not go again, and I personally do not recommend. It was a waste of money and time for us.

4 out of 6 dishes, I have tried, were not fresh. Just okay quality with less quantity but with very high prices. I think it was due to weekdays when they might use leftover from previous day or I dont know. Chicken and muton curry was not fresh at all but dal was great. Similarly, chicken tikka and seekh kabab were not fresh but smosa was fresh and nice but 3 smosas for 6 people: Very convenient 😉. When I asked for more, request rejected!

The only reason I am not rating this 1/5 is because I do not like leaving bad reviews and the food wasn’t awful. Location is decent. Restaurant itself is very nice. • Starters came but the water we asked for didn’t so had to ask twice for some water • Was not asked once how the food was during or after the meal • Parts of the food was cold • Nobody asked if we wanted any more drinks or a dessert • We had to ask for the bill (after waiting for a while for someone to notice) • Nobody came over to help us pay the bill for a while so we also had to ask for this • We had a special request on the booking because it was someone’s birthday. This was completely ignored • We decided to ask for the service charge to be removed as there wasn’t 1 single person who deserved a tip in this experience. The staff member then simply pointed at the bill to indicate she was removing the service charge • There was no apology even after this and nobody even attempted to rectify the experience I do not want to damage a business because other people’s experiences may be different, however, I am very disappointed that I had an experience like this for such a fancy looking restaurant.

🛑Do not recommend for a buffet. Paid £30 and felt it was too expensive for the limited options. There were only about 7–8 dishes, with just 3–4 mains and the rest starters. The food tasted good, but the variety didn’t justify the price. The place was overcrowded with long lines at the buffet, and some dishes weren’t topped up quickly once they finished. Staff were polite and friendly, but overall it didn’t feel like good value for money.

On the 14th February 2026, 12:35 we arrived at Zouk, we walked into the restaurant and was stared at by the bar crew and not greeted or welcomed. The manager approached and didn’t say hello but said sharply “Do you have a booking?” We said no, and he said “you can only sit at the bar or outside” however the bar was full and outside was cold.. he did not even offer to put on heaters that they had. We sat down at outside ordered a breakfast but waited upto an hour before our food came. People who arrived after got there food before us. After a hour the food arrived and the eggs were unfortunately raw ontop! The bacon (halal) was oily, dry and absolutely disgusting Karthik the manager was the person who made this visit absolutely horrible & I almost felt discriminated the way he spoke to me. I would personally avoid this place if they have any cooking classses on as they will most likely forget you exist.

I am very disappointed with my recent experience and would not recommend this restaurant. My friends and I had booked what was clearly stated as a standard dinner with the regular menu. However, upon arrival, we were presented with a Valentine’s menu without any prior notice. This was quite confusing, so we politely asked staff for clarification. Unfortunately, our questions were not properly addressed, and dishes were brought to our table without explanation. We were later informed that we would be required to pay for the full Valentine’s menu, despite not requesting or booking this option. We were then forced to leave as they were asking for £40 per head!! The situation was handled poorly, and the staff were dismissive, vague, and unaccommodating. In particular, the male staff member at the entrance was rude and did not take the time to listen to our concerns. Overall, the lack of communication and customer service made what should have been an enjoyable evening very frustrating.

A
Alisha

I booked a table online for my partner and I for Valentine’s Day and intentionally booked the regular menu due to dietary requirements. We paid a deposit and booked for a specific time, so we were disappointed to be kept waiting for over 30 minutes past our reservation before being seated. Once seated, we were only provided with the Valentine’s set menu. When I queried this, it was explained poorly and without much customer care that only the set menu was available. This was frustrating, as we had deliberately avoided the set menu. We didn’t want a starter or dessert and had specific dietary considerations, yet we felt pressured into choosing from options we hadn’t intended to order. We initially tried to make the best of the situation, selecting what we thought would work for us. However, we were then informed that we were required to have all courses as “taster” portions. By this point, it was too late to find an alternative restaurant, so we reluctantly agreed. The food itself was underwhelming. Portions were extremely small and served as sharing plates, including just one small dessert between us. So when we were charged £87 it came as quite the shock as the quantity and quality simply did not justify the cost and it was not explained anywhere that it was almost £40 each not for the both of us, if it was each why did we not receive a dessert, rice or poppadoms for two people? Throughout the evening, we observed two nearby tables leave for the same reason (even one with a 2 year old child that they just expected to eat the valentines day menu too!), another table disputing their bill, and others clearly unhappy but choosing to accept the situation. This suggests the issue was not isolated. Overall, the experience was disappointing from start to finish — from the long wait despite a booking and deposit, to the lack of clear communication and poor value for money. This was our first visit to the restaurant and, unfortunately, it will also be our last.

Absolutely terrible and horrendous experience I’ve had in my entire life of dining! We had a table booking at 12.45pm and were told it’s not there on the system so they ignored us and started assisting the couple behind us! Only for me to stand firm and show them the booking email. They still couldn’t find the booking until I looked at the screen myself and pointed out our booking! Then we get seated at the bar area to eat as they had no tables left, if only they looked properly on the booking system, then they wouldn’t have given our pre booked table to the couple behind us. The woman who was dealing with the booking was so ignorant and rude. Then we asked to move from the bar area and be placed at the dining area. We placed our order for brunch when we were initially seated at the bar area at 12.55pm, and the waitress came over and double checked our order again when seated at the dining. We waited for our food for 35 mins and then asked where our food was, only for the waitress to tell us that our food hasn’t even been made and it’s not there. Make that make sense?! The waitress then asked the kitchen to start making our order. We then waited another 20 mins and then asked where our food was only to be told that our food was made but accidentally sent to the wrong table, and that they will make our food for us AGAIN! We waited another 20 mins and then my husbands food comes out (cold) but my French toast (quick and easy to make) was nowhere to be seen. It then comes out cold with no toppings!! Just plain French toast with chocolate sauce on the side, when I clearly ordered French toast with all the fruits except strawberry and raspberry. They then brought out some grapes and watermelons, not even cut up and plonked it on our table and walked off! The manager was there when they came and plonked it and he ignored this bad customer service. We then complained to the manager who’s response was “what do you want me to do” how about an apology for a start sir for the delay and terrible customer service / behaviour? and maybe offer to make our food for us again, fresh and not cold this time? The manager then starts calling himself a good “Muslim brother” and that he isn’t treating us any differently to the other customers as we’re Muslim too. What’s religion got to do with any of this horrible customer service? We came in for a good experience and good food. We left with empty stomachs and terrible experience. We then told them we were leaving without eating and they watched us walk off. No apologies or anything! Will never go back and don’t recommended this place.

We booked the Valentine’s set menu expecting the experience that was clearly advertised online. Unfortunately, what we received was completely different. Service was poor from the start. We had to ask three times for drinks and finished our starters without receiving one. Our first course was brought out before the poppadoms, despite that not being how the menu was set out or how other tables were served. The complimentary shots listed on the menu were never given to us. We ordered chips with our main and agreed to pay extra in advance so they would arrive with the meal. They were brought out after we had already finished eating. The biggest disappointment was the complete lack of atmosphere and entertainment. The evening was advertised with live music and a romantic setting. There was no singer, no pianist and no noticeable ambience. When we asked staff about the entertainment, we were told they “didn’t know” and that the singer hadn’t turned up. There was no communication about this at all. Childcare is rare for us, so this was a special night. It ended up being an overpriced meal with poor service and none of the promised experience. Very disappointing and now they seem to have stopped responding to emails.
