Great food only thing wrong, need more customers more service.. been there three times and I'm the only one in the dining area.

haven’t been to this location in a while because of bad experiences in the past. but i really wanted taco bueno last night and gave it a shot. tacos were delicious, came out in a timely manner. i didn’t know the party burrito had beans on it, and i don’t like beans. someone who wasn’t working the counter came up and replaced it with a party taco. he was very happy to give me my taco and very forgiving. will definitely be back soon.

I am handicap. Use a cane to walk. This morning, my 80 year old friend, another friend and me, were looking forward to enjoy some food at Taco Bueno in Mansfield. 287 highway and Walnut Creek. Time was 10:25 a.m... We walked in. Not knowing that it was going to be open at 10:30. A lady told us: "We are closed". So, we went out the door. We did not know at what time they open. When we got to the car, it was 10:27 a.m. I believe that some people don't care about other people, or customers, or business... because she saw me straggling to walk. She could of say: "we will be open in 5 minutes". But no. We left. Won't be back. Won't recommend this location to anybody. I really hope manage see this review. Thank you.

The gentleman in the drive thru tonight was very accommodating & patient with our large order . He had more manners than anyone I've seen in fast food in a very long time! It was expensive but definitely worth it. Fresh tasting beef, and very tasty beans & cheese.

I worked at Taco Bueno for more than a year in high school, and I saw how everything is made. Fresh ground beef, raw chicken breast, 50 lb sacks of pinto beans, whole avocados, 5 lb blocks of cheese, etc. Everything was prepared fresh on-site. There is NOTHING I wouldn't eat (except for stuff I don't already eat like Mexican rice). Wife and I went here two days ago and both enjoyed large portions of nacho salad and much nachos. I will never not love Taco Bueno!

Judy took my order at the drive through window. She was very energetic and smiling. She made sure to ask if I needed any sauces. This is the best experience I have had at this location In about 2 years.

I think the beef taco salad was better than Taco Cabanas. It was definitely bigger and fresher. And they have a jalapeño dressing that was beautiful, if you're not afraid of a little sting!

Went through the drive thru. Service was quick and food was nicely presented. Everything was as I ordered it and tasted great. The lady at the window was super sweet as well. I loved how she called me Mrs. Ma'am since she didn't have a name for me.

I've been to this specific Taco Bueno many times before and I have always had a great experience. Today I used the pick up option on door dash for Taco Bueno so I had ordered ahead. Although they took a little longer than expected to make a few tacos, I didn't mind. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was exceptionally clean. They had plenty of toppings and things at their sauce/topping bar but they were quite low on the sauces so it was a little hard to scoop it up. The food was very good and it tasted fresh. Overall, my experience at this Taco Bueno location has been quite positive.

Service was good. The tacos had barely any meat or cheese. The bean burrito was good. Tables were dirty but it was still lunch time.

One of the few left open. The food here was better prepared and seemed fresher than the last few Buenos I have visited. My son's favorite place to eat so hopefully stays open. As long as the food quality stays at this level we will continue to come back.

This is a decent Taco Bueno. It's a great place to go when you're in a hurry and just want a quick bite to eat. The hamburger meat could be better if they added a few spices, but other than that the food is pretty good... At least for a fast food restaurant. It's in a convenient location and easy to spot from the street. Even if there is a line in the Drive-Thru, the line moves pretty quickly. I've never had to wait long. Definitely recommend Taco Bueno if you just want a quick bite to eat and save some money because their prices are very reasonable.

Haven't been to this location in almost a year. The very first time I come back they get my order COMPLETELY wrong. $12 for 3 stupid normal soft tacos and a soda. At least you got the soda correct.

This location (Walnut Creek & 287 in Mansfield) frequently makes mistakes with our order, so I usually go in instead of drive through so I can check it as they put it in the computer and then check the food before leaving. The food is always good, when we eventually get the correct thing.

The drive thru speaker wasn’t working, but surprisingly, I placed a decent sized order and got my food within about 5 minutes! No napkins or utensils were included, but who can really complain about waiting 5 minutes?

The food was super salty to me. More so than normal, but the people are super friendly and it was a clean place.

The food and service have changed at this location. The service used to be exceptional, they were always helpful and recognized returning customers. The amount of food inside the taco shell or tortilla has decreased as well.

Salty. The potatoes in the chicken and potatoes burrito were so tough and hard. They should be soft but crispy. Everything was so full of sodium that my feet were puffy later on. The service was there at a minimum. She wasn't friendly, just there to do her job. The queso was decent and the taco good. There was hair on an item, so we tossed that one. The bean burrito had crunchy beans in it so I guess they mixed in the unused top part that gets all dried out. They seemed to have enough business so I'm unsure why stuff was so old and I'm confused on why they served it.

Ran thru the drive thru for a quick bite, or so I thought. Chips and Guac, Beef Muchaco and a Sprite. Should be easy, right? Wrong! Forgot part of my order...had to go inside. Anyone apologize? Well of coarse not! So, the service sucked and the food was just ok. I see they're skimping on the serving sizes. Sad, cause this use to be one of my favs!

Waited about five minutes too be acknowledged inside, lady barely spoke to me when taking order, then walked off without giving receipt or drink cup. Bathroom dirty, no toilet paper just a roll of paper towels on the floor by the pot. Luckily i got food fast.

Dirty floors, I cut people a lot of slack, but my grandson hit the floor and slid into the kitchen area. He was just returning the tray. They just snickered, never asked if he was okay. He was so embarrassed. When I say filthy, I mean filthy. Clean up Bueno, will not go here again.

Location is nice. Located on service road to hwy. Large parking area. Food is prepared quickly and the array of seating is enjoyable. Restroom is very large. Allows you to lock the door if necessary. Men's urinal and toilet are out in the open. There is not a stall around toilet, hence the lockable door. Which makes sense due to it catering to single person use most likely. No complaints there. The water from the faucet has Way too much pressure. If you are not careful you'll end up splashing yourself. Which has the potential to cause an embarrassing moment for unbeknownst customers. Also the hot water can get extremely hot. Which you can or cannot complain about. No one likes using water that can never get hot enough. Also though, at the same time it can get hot fairly quickly. Which can lead to a scalding if not careful. All in all though, the convenience of its location, and the enjoyable atmosphere allow for a nice meal with family and or friends. I do wish they would have a updated music selection though. Family music doesn't need to be boring or tasteless. If you're selecting music playlists that you'd find in a grocery store, you're doing it wrong.

There's a sign that says "no public restrooms - paying customers only," but if you have to pay to use it, it should be cleaned & sanitized. The lighting could be better. Maybe it's just the age of the location that gives dining in a bit of a grimy feel. It's probably fine to go through the drive thru though.

Easy to get in and out. Food tastes very good as always. Family loves the cinnamon chips 😁😁. Staff very friendly. But if you order to go, you need to review your order. The food is good and I will eat at Bueno again

Giving 3 stars is generous given the customer service you normally get here. Only a couple of employees show any kind of customer appreciation. Most act like your a thorn in there side. Food is good but there is one guy who always works the drive thru window who is a complete jerk. Would prefer to use a different word but I’m sure my post would be deleted. If he hates his job so much he needs to find something else and quit being such a “jerk” when you ask for something as simple as salsa. This guy alone may keep me from ever going back.

Food is surprisingly tasty. I like the variety and prices are reasonable. However, both times I went - i noticed a nasty smell...i think it comes from the rags used to wipe the trays/ tables that makes it difficult to eat my food. PLEASE disinfect your wash rags more often.

I understand that a job like this can be very difficult, and you don’t always pay attention to what you’re saying in front of customers, but the guy at the window just now who was talking about a coworker that “dipped in the middle of rush” and called her a “retard”...yeah, not very professional. Not to mention, he was pretty rude to us, as well. I get that coworkers can be frustrating, but be aware of the words you’re using in front of customers.

I use to love taco bueno but this one in Mansfield has made me not like it so much anymore I'm not sure what the issue is in Mansfield. But that's what a lot of restaurants are like around here. It's as though the younger employees don't take or if in there jobs or serving the people in there community. Get it together people please.

I hate to give a bad review, but I have to be honest. The staff were absolutely terrible. Rude. The music was too loud. The staff seemed like they hated us for us to even walk in the door. It was a very bad vibe. The food was ok.

It's not the same Bueno I grew up with. We had the first Buenos in the world in my city. This one never even has soap in the bathrooms.

I love the food, and usually the crew is good at their job, especially considering what they get paid. but someone really needs to talk to the night crew, every single time i've been there in the evening i've sat at the drive thru for well over 5 minutes without a single thing said to me. I can understand it taking longer since there is less people, heck I can understand it even taking a loooong time later in the evening, but I shouldn't pull up to the drive thru and have to play the guessing game on whether or not someone is actually on the other end, or if I'm being ignored by the one of tons of fast food workers who just don't care to do their job. All I'm asking for is the common courtesy of letting me know that it will be a minute before you can take my order so I don't sit there twiddling my thumbs wondering if I'm wasting my time.

Never get my correct order, and they wrap everything the same so we have to find out what it is by pulling apart the burritos. We went today and nothing was correct. Would love if someone reached out for a refund.

They messed up my Togo order pretty bad. Didn’t put any cheese, lettuce, tomato on anything. Just meat and taco shell. And then the whollotta platter that comes with two enchiladas…they only gave me one enchilada. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I get mistakes happen. But when I tried to call the number on the receipt as well as the phone number listed online, both phone numbers were no longer in service. Won’t be back. So disappointing .

Shame Taco Bueno food was so sloppy and guacamole looked old and food had no flavor. I miss the old T.B. when they tasted better than Taco Bell.

Good food but it took forever to get. The ice machine is broken and the sodas didn’t taste right. The employees argued in Spanish the entire time we were there and totally ignored my wife when she wanted more ice from behind the counter.

8/22/24, A/C is barely cooling the inside, lukewarm; upgrade the interior, very Boston Celtics parquet floor dated; interior was not very clean, some dirty tables; food was sub par, taco shells bland. Won't be coming back to this location again..first time, last time. Taco condiment area sloppy.

Ordered a beef nacho salad & where is the lettuce? Called them, didn't answer called them multiple times before closing. Not sure why l gave them another try. Go to the one Coopper by QT. They are generally on point.

Made on online order with a few coworkers for lunch came to pick up order and I had to ask for my drinks paid 2.99 for red sauce for 2 of them so 2.99x2 and get back to wrk and didn't even have them so 6$ for something I didn't even get food was not made like I asked I had nachos asked for chips on side but didn't get my order like that I tried to call the number they have online for the restaurant and it was totally disconnected so was unable to talk to any body about my order ...needless to say this will be one restaurant I will never go back to ....

Drive thru took forever. Every car was told hello please wait for 5 min each, then when I finally get to order I got a couple burritos and a large Sprite NO ICE. Repeats order and didn't say the drink. I repeat Sprite NO ICE. She says sprite? And I respond yes, NO ICE. Then I sit at the pay window and she starts to hand me my burritos while asking for payment. I give her cash, she gives change and says thanks bye. So I wait. She opens the window and says you need hot sauce, and I say no, my sprite NO ICE. She says oh right, what drink? Sprite NO ICE. I got a Large cup full of ice with some sprite in there to keep them warm on this beautiful overcast 40 degree Fahrenheit day. And I'm late for work.

Everyone was too busy dancing to the music they were blasting to bother throwing any hot sauce in the bag. Cold burritos were great!

Such rude employees.. went through the drive through and the guy would repeat everything I said but would say it wrong and laugh... he thought he turned off the mic but instead was telling someone how dumb I was bc he never repeated it back.. I also had to sit at the window for 10 minutes before anyone came to it... never going back. The owner should have a serious talk to their employees

Staff appeared bothered that we were even there. Had to tell them ice was out which seemed to bother them even further. Then when I told her that the coke was out she answered " yeah we don't have coke right now!!" Will not be going back as the food was not good either.

Placed an order in store at a register that had a note on the card reader “Swipe Only no chip reader” and swiped multiple times until cashier stated the card was declined. Same card was just used in another store with no issues. So I did what anyone would and paid cash. Came home called bank to understand issue and was told the amount was deducted from account with no issues. So I paid twice! Not sure if this was intentional or they need to take reader out of service. First time ever this has happened to me so it was pretty frustrating. Everyone needs to be alert when something doesn’t feel right.

The food wasn't great. But the real problem is that we waited over 5 minutes before anyone even looked to see if anyone was waiting to order. While I was waiting I watched them making food with no gloves on. Gross! I told the lady when she finally came to take my order but that doesn't change the fact that someone had their dirty hands all in the lettuce, tomato and cheese. While I was eating an employee used the restroom and as soon as we hear the toilet flush door swings open. Ummm, Mr. Bueno, please get your employees some training. I had a similar experience at the Burleson location where I took pictures of the lady wiping her nose and preparing order ungloved. This is ridiculous! I have always loved Bueno but I will not be back because of the nastiness of the employees at multiple locations!

Big tacos need to be filled fully with ingredients, not just an inch of shell empty on each end. Tacos that did not ask for onion should not have onion. All the tacos were super greasy and not flavorful. The chili sauce on the burritos tasted too strong like it was not mixed right. Tacos that had guacamole added should have the guacamole in them and not on the side.

They told me they ran out of beef. Over half your menu is beef and your "chicken" taste like it has been dehydrated and reconstituted with dirty dish water. The next time you run out of beef just close up until you get more.

40 min In The drive thru, tonight. Granted they were really busy. But I don't know how you forget both my tacos in my platter and no beans in my muchaco. Called for the manager, and she's not there. That was apparent. Owners may want to look at a change in management. This store is very consistent at being bad. Will not be back to this location.

Save yourself the trip and go elsewhere. Arrived during the middle of the day with four employees working but it still took 7 minutes for them to take our order. To preface this, there was only 2 cars in the drive through and a table of 4 sitting in the restaurant. (One group of two people left when we got there, complaining of waiting too long). When we finally ordered the person taking our order didn’t apologize for the wait and acted as if us ordering was a burden on them, we ordered the big frickin’ chicken quesadilla”, it came out shortly after ordering but it was less than impressive. Flavorless, left a bad taste and wasn’t even cut properly. Staff was walking around in the back and even in the front on their phones!!!! Do not come here.

BE AWARE!! I don’t know if anyone else notices that when you order a combo from this location they automatically sell you a medium drink without your consent; then charge you for it. A #2 combo is $6.49, when I went through. Plus tax should be $7.03. They wanted to charge me almost $9.00 , even after handing them a coupon for a free 4th taco. They kept telling me that the drive-thru menu displayed the wrong amount. Then the computers were not operating correctly........R.I.G.H.T!! We all need to be aware of this SCAM! It happens at a lot of Taco Bueno facilities! Not all, but most!

Went to this location with more than an hour until close, place was a ghost town. The funny thing is, the "drive thru open" light was still going strong. Shame to see a late night option close whenever they want instead of serving the hours advertised

This place truly deserves a 0,drove thru the drive in orderd the taco burger. meat was cold truly disgusting.it really needs turning around. i actually go to the one in Midlothian.

Used to be my go to ever since it opened after being a Burger King. Quality and service have plummeted in the past 4-5 years and it just keeps getting worse. They can never get the Door Dash or Uber Eats orders right and when you go through the drive thru they don't seem to know what you are talking about.

Slowest location ever. I come here a lot…unfortunately it’s the closest to my house. The current window employee doesn’t listen..have to ask 2 & 3 times for hot sauce. Looks like she’s got more important things to do..if you’re in a hurry, or not-don’t go to this location.

I wish corporate read this stuff because no one ever cares to do anything about it. I ordered dinner for us tonight. On the 4 beef cheesy melts there was no beef whatsoever or pico. I would never have gotten tortillas with just melted cheese. Sad to say that was supposed to be my dinner but that's just too much cheese and nothing else. I need to learn my lesson and quit ordering from here. They usually leave food out that I pay for

This location has become a joke, especially at night. Every sauce cup they gave in the drive thru tonight had pressure in it meaning it was no good. They seem to be trying to give someone food poisoning. Do not eat sauce or pico if when you open you can feel pressure release, it will very likely make you sick.

Lol! I went to bueno in Mansfield (US 287) at 9:02 pm (I believe they close at 11 or 12). The lady on the loud speaker said as I pulled up in drive thru: “We are out of taco meat, chicken and queso.” This is not the first time this has happened at night. If you go to this location, go at lunch time when they have food. To be fair, the woman on the speaker did say she was sorry but I have never experienced this at other locations… only in Mansfield. I wonder if the owner or corporate is aware of this?

The drive thru intercom did not work well. The lady did not give us the right order . Items were missing completely.

Horrible experience.. walked in placed order 8pm waiting in dining room 8:25 no body else came in.. I went to ask where my order was all 4 employees just hanging at the middle table in back just talking laughing hanging out. First thing the white guy says is " I already made that order and put it out." I asked to who Im still waiting ? ...instead of apologize he standing with" it was made and put out" I don't know who took it!" Horrible response no empathy or sincere just making a scene that it was made and "oh well.. kid said he was Manager and not a baby sitter when I asked "well, who did u give it to?" He said he don't know what employee took food and gave it out. Him " manager" African American kid, a Spanish young girl who was so excited about starting a fight then being sympathetic and an older Spanish woman in the back just staying out of it.. " You don't treat customers like this.. He took my order he could have made sure to let them know I was waiting. Even tho he made my order while I was standing there waiting he was still very rude!

Lazy workers! Out of sauces and utensils. Also forgetting numerous things in multiple peoples bags like burritos and tacos and they seem to just be worried about Bluetooth speakers and hanging out. Horrible service all around and rude. Wanna be thugs but they live around Mansfield. Posers that need real work within. I don’t care if you’re high while making food but atleast do you work if you are. These people are I believe the term is “stuck on stupid” don’t forget Lazy and ignorant is best way to describe them. I don’t know how they’ve made it this far in life. I’ll definitely report these to upper management.

I don't know what's going on with this location, but the past several times I've been to the drive through, it's like it takes 15 minutes per car. When you pull up to order, you are told to wait to place your order, and are left there for far too long with a lot of angry customers behind you who think it's your fault. If you visit this location, GO INSIDE and not to the drive through - you'll save yourself at least 20-30 minutes.

They did not have paper in their point of sale and could not give a receipt. This from the same person who may have been the rudest, most condescending drive through order taker. Ever. Her name is Jasmine. Jasmin. Jazmin. Not sure of spelling as they do not wear name tags. Obvious as to why. The person taking the money and giving out product was as rude but of course did not give her name. Why be in the service industry if you do not like people nor care about customer service?

Man, always so frustrating! My kids like this place and it is PAINFUL to go. Today was 2 cars in front of me at 1230 pm, she interrupted my order 4 times and asked me to hold, would come back and ask me to start over. 33 minutes later I move to pick up window and they Ask me to give them my order again while I watch them argue over why it’s all wrong in the bag. I remember when this place used to be managed by someone competent.

The woman behind the counter during lunch hours today was extremely rude when my small group came in and ordered. We were very kind to her, asked her how she was. Guess it didnt matter, she was set in her ways to be disrespectful. Hope she gets an attitude adjustment!

Their speaker is broke and had a sign to go to the window, when I got up there the lady (I think the manager because I saw her get in the safe) was on her cellphone the whole time and completely ignored that I was out there. I waited about three minutes staring at her waiting for her to acknowledge me but she didn't so I drove away without purchasing anything.

This place has been on a steady decline for several years now. The food has been cheapened to the point its barely edible, the drive thru is never open as late as they advertise, they frequently screw up your orders... used to be my favorite drive thru Mexican food. It's tough to bring myself to go anymore. And I regret it every single time I do.

The service is terrible at the Mansfield location. When I get food from there the order is almost always wrong. The management is non existent and most of the time kids are running the store. The original red hot sauce is basically water. I'm surprised this location is still in business and that they closed the one down on broad. Come on Taco Bueno Mansfield get it together

Used to love Taco Bueno but thought we'd stop in for a quick bite. Our tacos had maybe a tablespoon of meat and a tablespoon of lettuce....no tomatoes or cheese. Fortunately the salsa bar had hot sauce and Pico which made it edible. My husband got the Big Freeking Taco and it looked like a child's Taco. He was NOT HAPPY. Too bar because we used to love Taco Bueno. Wish there was a place to post a photo to explain our poor rating. Hope they get it together.

It's sad that this location seems to be continuing It's downhill slide. Slow service, several people waited then walked out. Staff didn't even know. I had to go around the counter to let them know there was a line waiting. The dining area is not clean. Charged me for a fountain drink only to be forced to request a refund since all fountains were out of order. They did the same thing to customers behind me. The salsa bar was missing two items. I noticed this downfall starting about 4 years ago. Not sure if there was a management or ownership change.

I honestly don't know how this place is still open. The only decent time to eat at this location is during the day. The building is poorly lit at night and makes them look closed. The Menu outside is either broken or they just don't bother to turn it on because it's never lit up. The night crew is absolutely horrible and are all young kids. They always close early and if they happen to be open late you will hear things like... "Our computer system is down, we ran out of beef, were only accepting cash, we are short staffed." I've heard it all. This place needs new management ASAP.

I ordered a chicken nacho salad last night. 1 piece of chicken and 3 crumb size pieces., skimpy with lettuce and tomato's. I would expect more chicken at the price I paid, not just chips. Tasted like they used package taco seasoning, whichbiant very good. Will not go back to this location. If I hadn't gotten it to go, I would have returned and gotten money back it was that bad.

So inconsistent. As of today, they close at 9pm. It use to be later closing times like 11pm/12am. I pull up and at 930 pm and was told in a very soft voice we are closed. This is with the drive thru sign still on. I guess it's to save on labor justifying cutting dinner times down. It's not that the customers were not coming, it's the night crew runs off the business period. I dont see other business across the highway closing early, they just are taking care of the customer. Interesting....inspect what you expect.

Went to get dinner at 9pm on 3/6. Went through the drive thru and ordered food, at the end of ordering the lady on the speaker was asking a question. I simply said sorry I couldn’t hear you (there was also music blasting) and asked her to repeat it. She then proceeded to yell the question again making it even harder to understand. I finally understood what she asked after 2-3 times of asking what she had said. She then yelled back the whole order in the most disrespectful way. I understand as I also work in restaurants but there’s no need to be disrespectful. Y’all need to train your employees to have good customer service.

I went to the Mansfield Store # 3160 and order my food more than $15 worth so I can use the coupon for when you sign up for text updates through taco bueno website . The cashier states they can not use coupons and they just don't go through in there system. Very disappointed and hopefully it gets fix soon so we don't have this issue going forward

This taco bueno is never packed, the times I’ve been there its practically empty, but yet the workers always manage to forget half of my order, chips and sides! If you go to this taco bueno, always check your bag! They won’t even give you napkins and plasticware! You have to request it several times! The staff is always playing, standing around or goofing around! They ignore their customers! Won’t be going there from now on!

They have no issue telling you about the “extra charges” when customizing your order. But the oh “so sorry” and “didn’t know” from management when it doesn’t actually get customized. Just need a checks and balances system! I love and hate you guys so much, food is good but please get my order right the FIRST TIME!!

Ordered a number one combo, they had me waiting 20 minutes for it. A bunch of teenage boys playing around and this is what I ended up with. 🤮 will not return. Ordered 5/19/2023 approx. 630 PM.

Just came from this location and I ordered the nachos and I asked for beef and they just put beans queso and sour cream worst place ever I even know what comes on the nachos because I use to work there

We ordered over Uber Eats (we were told we'd get a refund, so that's good). I'm glad we didn't go in person because I don't know if we'd get our money back. We ordered beef burritos and recieved just bean burritos with very little filling. Luckily the other items we ordered were correct.

I hated the service at this location. Taco Bueno should change their name to Taco Fal, it was horrible. First off they didn't have chicken for new dunked chimichanga. So I ended up ordering a steak chimichanga and A beef taco salad. The chimichanga,had beef with literally three shreds of steak and looked like it had been sitting in the waste bin and it had a worm looking big in it. On top of them giving me a stale nacho salad instead of the taco salad. I called spoke to someone named Karen. She told me to return back to the store. I asked for the manager and he came to the front however refused to give his name. He said that he not required to give his name. Also told me to come back in the morning to talk to the general manager. Snatch the chimichanga and three it in the trash after I told him that I want to get it analyzed. Unless you want bugs in your food and whatever else, stay away from this location.
