Opinions de Twisted Root Burger Co. Mansfield
Cozy place. You walk up and place your order . Good sandwich options. Decent prices. Bar available as well.
We ate here yesterday, we wanted something different and I was pleasantly surprised at all the options for burgers and toppings. My husband had a camel burger and it was delish, I had the regular burger and it was very good too. Loved the drinks also. Oh and the pickle barrels are so cool and pickles are super tasty.
This was my first time here, and it did not disappoint! I had the bacon cheeseburger and fries the flavor of the patty was on point! The fries were pretty good as well! They have big barrels of different flavored Pickles as well as awesome tasting root beer and vanilla cream soda! If you haven't tried this place yet, put it on your list to go! I will definitely be back!
Food was good I love the atmosphere. The bar was kinda slow but not a big worry for me. I did realize that the restaurant has on tap from brewery next door which i thought was cool. The food was good I loved trying out their pickles from their four or five selections. They have different meats to try if beef is not what you are feeling that day. I thought it was also cool that they had a cola spout kinda old fashioned I think. You press your flavor and the syrup and carbonated soda comes out. I thought it was cool. Overall loved the place recomend to friends and family.
LOVE this place! The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is lively and upbeat. I stop here every time I go through Mansfield. Onion strings for the win!
I've dinned in with my family before. Tonight we decided to get it to go. Jacob S (Jay) greeted us the second we walked in the door, asked how we were doing and what they could get started for us. I was having a hard day, and that smile along with that greeting made a world of difference! I ordered the build your own burger but couldn't decide on options, and Jay made a few suggestions(again, it was a hard day). I swear that was the mostly delicious, juicy and flavorful burger I've ever had! We decided to have an adult beverage while we waited for our food. Jay again made great recommendations. My husband tried a new beer and I got the house margarita......SO GOOD!! Food was ready in no time at all, and we enjoyed sitting at the bar. It was clean and very inviting. Plan to go again soon and take Jay up on the dessert suggestions.
Staff was extremely friendly, food was super filling great flavor and great portion. We also ordered a drink bartender was really nice. Her drinks 💯 good just like the drink is ment to be not overwhelming with alcohol it was refreshing. I will most definitely recommend this place and I will be coming back.
We loved this place. We weren't really looking for a burger but the two other spots were closed but what a happy accident! Food was so fresh, vibe was great!
We are from Burleson and went to Mansfield for a volleyball game. We decided to stop in here for lunch afterwards and had a wonderful time. The food was awesome, the staff was super friendly, and our daughter couldn't get enough of the pickles. The entire area is very cool and family friendly. We will definitely be back
First time trying Twisted Root ever! I ordered the classic (beef and cheese), fries, and an oreo shake. My sis got the strawberry shake (her burger is not pictured but she enjoyed it!) They brought the shakes out soon after ordering. Y'ALL. That shake was so delicious and creamy! I even said "this taste like they took their time making it"! Seriously one of the best shakes I've ever had, and I'm a shake queen! The burger was juicy and filling! I'm not much of a fry person but they were also great. Next time, I'd split the fries with someone because the portion was large. The pickle area was so cute! I like the regular dill. I also liked the bread and butter. The area where TR is located was so adorable and inviting. I'll definitely be back more than I should!
I’ve eaten here many times and the food is great. I have certain dietary restrictions, including no gluten or red meat, and they’ve always had yummy options for me. The service is great and my kids LOVE the pickle bar. The staff is always friendly and the environment is fun but relaxed. I rarely leave reviews on anything, but I really want to share the kindness that happened today… It’s a busy day running between my two kids sports and I placed a pick-up order online with a note asking for the order to be rushed because I was running to my son’s basketball game. Just before picking it up, someone side-swiped my car and drove off. I was furious. When I got my order, there was a sticky note from an employee that said “good luck with the game!” This little note of kindness went a long way to lift my mood. Thank you, twisted root staff, for being a bright spot.
Food was phenomenal! Service was the best! The family allowing their toddler to serve himself pickles was quickly stopped by management after he contaminated the barrel. We all got hamburgers and fries and one chicken strip dinner. Food was so good! We were quite happy with everything and the attentive service, too!
My daughter and I stopped in. Never been before. When I say everything we order was amazing, I am not embellishing! Low Rider Burger, fries, Power to the Pico Salad! Yummmmm Watermelon sweet tea was something I didnt even know I needed in my life. Everything was so good and so fresh!
Good burgers. Cold beer. Prices are ok. $24 plus tip for burger, fries, and 2 beers. I had The Western.... "Chefs favorite". No complaints. They pipe beer in from the brewery next door. So, if you want the beer from the brewery but don't want to eat tacos, go next door and get a beer and burger!
Great burger, great bartender and the bread and butter pickles... Yuuuuum! Wish they'd open one of these in Navarro County.
Texas All Grown Up - This is what you expect from a Deep in the Heart of Texas Place. A big part of THE BACKYARD concept food attraction. You will feel right at home. Great Brew, Mixed Drinks and the most Incredible Texas Fair imaginable. This place is well worth a trip from far away. Heck if you are from out of the state an want to experience DEEP In THE HEART of Texas. This is it. There is no way you will regret it. This place is serious about being Texas Awesome.
Excellent burgers! We came here together as a team after a tournament and we were not disappointed. Order your meal and wait for your buzzer to ring. Each buzzer has a name of a famous musician on the device and it was cute seeing teammates pick up their meals. The wait is not long and burgers are super tasty! Try the pickles while you are there! So delicious.
We decided to have lunch here recently and were pleasantly surprised about the originality of the place. The menu has something for everyone and if you are a pickle lover, there is a whole wall dedicated to pickles. We were given a pager with a pop icon's name "E.T, Supergirl etcera) and took our seats. I noticed the full bar and TV's for watching the games or fights. We got our food and it was delicious. The fries were really good and seasoned well. I wished the bacon had more meat and less fat. The employees were very friendly. There is a large outside area perfect for big crowds. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We will be back to try some of the different dishes.
The millionaire burger. When she showed up with her top off it felt inappropriate.. but eating with a fork and knife felt classy. Half way through this thing the bottom bun's integrity was compromised. Only then did its true value reveal itself.. to capture the savory goodness flowing with in. There's nothing more American than cheddar cheese, mushrooms and bacon on a burger.. but the crispy onion and truffle aoili sauce make it a match in heaven. The fried pickles merely served as a flavor reset and an unwanted distraction from the burger. The staff was welcoming and volunteered suggestions as I was a first time customer.. but I'm glad I went with my gut on this one. I definitely would like to try more from this franchise. 🍻
Love the atmosphere of this place. The food is top notch and there is always service with a smile. You can order anything off of the menu and you won't be disappointed. Really excited to see this place open back up! If your in downtown Mansfield you have to come check it out.
I’m definitely giving this location a five out of five. First of all it says there have their own in house #baker. I guess that’s true bc my #glutenfree buns were amazing ( best I’ve had so far! The restroom was interesting to find. You have to go outside and around the corner. It seems like they share it in a common space with other restaurants. There’s also a shared sink in the open area for both genders. The atmosphere was cool. The only thing that was a little twisted is parking. The parking was off the busy Main Street and they required you to back in. I loved their homemade pickles. I could’ve taken some to go. They do not have regular sodas. All are custom homemade. I didn’t try any. Although if I would I would’ve gotten root beer. Great burgers! Family atmosphere. These are not fast food prices so be expected to pay a few dollars more.
Ordered the Freshman 15 with regular fries and a Oreo shake. Spent about $20. The inside isn’t that big, so seating can be limited. There is outdoor seating though. Food was great and enough options for different preferences, nice environment, service was good and food didn’t take long. There was classic rock playing which I could appreciate. I would recommend for dining in for great burgers. The bar was a little small with small TVs that I wouldn’t recommend watching a sporting event here.
This is a hidden gem right here, truly amazing and I mean Beautiful site to relax and enjoy the views. The burgers itself was really juicy and soft (the I got was the “big Tex”). The fried pickles were fluffy with the pickles being sour. What’s special about this is the pickle barrel they have, where you can go to this big tub of pickles and take some. They have sour and sweet, atomic, and I believe butter milk. Great hidden gem. Recommend for a nice evening.
I had the western which was told was one of their popular burgers. It was pretty good ,the fries could've been better,i got pieces of fries not really whole fries. The beer was cold ,but they dont have many beers on draft. I was hoping they had Blue Moon on draft. I woukd hope they get a little more beers on draft. I might be back in the future we'll see. On upon reading sone if the reviews and some of the responses from i dont know the manager or the owner he doesn't have much to reply to the negative comments . Like 1 review mentioned there were bugs on the table and the table weren't clean. I mean you would've thought they would've offered an apology for that, but nothing. Wasn't the only review that someone pointed out about something they weren't happy about. WOW!!! I dont think ill be going back to the Twisted Root Burger Co. They should really take some of these reviews as positive critism, its all about the customers.
20251018 - Party of two adults Order: James Bahn Mi (Grilled chicken) with fried green beans and carrots. Turcluckin (two chicken strips on a medium well patty of camel meat) with fries The James Bahn Mi was spot on! The chicken was perfectly done, seasons, and juicy. The green beans were super good too! The breading was top notch!! The only recommendation we have was to also add some sort of citrus or heat on the sandwich. Maybe go for the sweet/spicy pickles. The Turcluckin was AMAZING! I've never had camel before. It was really really good! I was super lean and I would recommend medium rare. The chicken strips on the sandwich are worthy of eating separately! The breading wasn't overbearing and the meat was juicy and hot! We'd totally have this meal over again! Ambiance: This establishment is a really cool up to date feel! Everything is clean and tidy. Dare I say "hip"?! Service: Everyone was very kind and helpful! The guy behind the counter that took our order was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He's the one that suggested camel instead of turkey for a burger. They represented their establishment extremely well!!
Sooo good, came in for sunday dinner and left so happy. The staff was Extremely nice and friendly, Marco helped us order and with a friendly attitude. we ordered the Big tex, the tree hugger and the Disco fries and EVERYTHING was so good. we finished everything, and will definitely be back
First time here and decided to check out in way home from lake. I had the All American and my hubby had one that had bacon and blue chz sauce (don’t remember name). Service was fast and food was delicious. I will definitely check out again. Oh and if you like pickles; check out the Pickle Bar area
My bike patrol gents and gal came here Tuesday at about 11 AM. It wasn't busy at all so we were able to sit wherever we wanted. The food was top notch and the chips were awesome sauce. I've never had a chip so easily fall apart when chewing. They're very soft chips! The grilled chicken club I ordered was very good. Juicy chicken! Wasn't trying at all. The fried pickles are always good and they have like 4 different jugs of pickles to choose from. The staff were very welcoming and professional. This place is located in downtown Mansfield so parking might be a little strenuous.
This place is a burger lover’s dream! The game meat selection is top-notch, offering unique and flavorful options you won’t find just anywhere. The burgers are cooked to perfection—juicy, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious. Plus, they have an awesome pickle bar with about five varieties, adding the perfect crunch to any meal. The atmosphere is laid-back with a cool indoor-outdoor vibe, making it a great spot to kick back with friends. Pair your burger with a cold beer and some crispy onion rings, and you’ve got the ultimate meal. Highly recommend checking this place out!
Cute little burger joint in downtown Mansfield! I appreciate that they have a delicious vegan option, even if the Vegabond did fall apart (a lot!) while I was eating it. My partner had the chicken tenders and he said they were tasty as well. We both loved the fries, although I wish the meals came with sides and we didn't have to order (and pay for) them separately. Great meal overall!
This was our first time at the Mansfield location and right away we were upset that they didn't have any fries. However, that gave us the opportunity to try the fried pickles and the house made potato chips. I would pass on the fried pickles because they were too salty. The vegabond burger was amazing. My husband enjoyed the all American burger and chips. The watermelon tea is a must and the Oreo milkshake was great. Not too sweet. Great place for lunch or dinner.
Enjoyed very much! Great burger options, had the Western burger with pepper Jack cheese, bacon, pickled jalapeño. Super great atmosphere! Nice bar area, great for families too. The in house made pickles were especially good. Had a delicious apple pie milkshake. Lots of food, great condiments also, custom made horseradish mustard, root beer barbecue sauce, and ancho chipotle ketchup. Highly recommend!
What a fun restaurant! The burgers, grilled cheese, fries, fried pickles and shakes were good! Also a fun dynamic to orders. And you can't pass up the small town business aspect and local food! Oh and I got to ogle good looking men while sitting on the john! 🤭 Definitely recommend!
Great burgers! The Lowrider is to die for! The service was super friendly we ran in on New Years Eve and they were so helpful, fast and friendly!

A bit pricy $34 for 2 burgers, 1 FF and 2 Dr Peppers. Mayo is discriminated against...catsup in a squeeze bottle, mustard in a squeeze bottle... Mayo in little packets so sad for Mayo.
My wife, daughter, and grandsons love Twisted Root. I on the other hand am still not sure whether I really like their burgers or not. Verdict is still out. Maybe I will stumble into one of their combinations that will score highly with me.
The burgers were missing a little something but that did not make them bad by any means. The service was quick and the restaurant was quirky. Good quality all-around the burgers just needed a bit more flavor to them. The fries were a huge portion and probably the most tasty part of the meal. Definitely a good place.
Ordered the American burger with a side of onion rings, fries, and a root beer float. The concept of this restaurant is rooted in American culture. The buzzers to know your food is ready has famous celebrities and characters, from Beyonce to Sponge Bob. There is a root beer spouts, barrels of burger condiments and a large bar at the center of the restaurant. It is a playful, eclectic restaurant. I loved the atmosphere, however not my favorite burger. The bun was nice and airy and was buttered, but the patty itself was dry and didn’t have much flavor. They have many opt for burgers so I will try a different one next time- I don’t like American chees. Fries were lacking seasoning but the onion rings were nice. The root beer float was great and loved that you get to poor your own root beer from the spout.
I came during lunch (11:30) on a Friday with coworkers. Since they open at 11 there was no line and lots of open tables. I decided to go on the healthier side and have the Cobb salad. It was a really delicious salad! I loved the lemon Dijon vinaigrette. The salad has a lot of good stuff in it- bacon, blue cheese, parmesean crisps, tomato and a fried egg on top! For a lighter lunch I suggest not adding any meat to it but for dinner I would suggest it if you’re used to a larger meal at dinner. Visually the burgers looked a little flat but all of the options sounded delicious. I’ll have to come back to try one as it has been years since I’ve been to a Twisted Root prior to this. One thing I didn’t like was the bowl the salad came in. It was a little difficult to eat out of it as it was very full. I also thought they looked cheap. The restrooms are outside just behind the patio, which by the way had heaters going. Only downside to them being outside is that it is cold! It is a communal sink area. There’s a large outdoor area for people to enjoy on a nice day. I could definitely see it getting more crowded then. The staff were friendly and helpful.
Their burgers are pretty good, but I don't like how they won't grill onions if requested. Their fries are not good, so I never order them. If you need a side, it's better to get the cheese fries with bacon and jalapenos. And for some reason I absolutely LOVE their spicy chicken sandwich. Order it as is and it's delicious. Oh and also, they don't have Dr. Pepper. They have a knock off version and claim it's the same but it's not.
The food was good, I think I'll go to a different location next time though. The evening crew was a little out of hand and not really paying attention to their job. I understand goofing off at work and all, but they completely forgot an order that I placed, locked the doors without letting us know where they wanted us to put the plates (we sat directly outside the main door) and basically just looked like a bunch of kids on recess. The outdoor seating is really nice, although I'm not sure if the areas are separated by restaurant or not, they have some misters, music outside, a nice gazebo for a larger group or family and it's dog friendly which is awesome! The parking lot around the back is big too, so plenty of parking.
Went here with my gf. She got the Party Melt and I got the Kevin Bacon burger with camel meat and we also shared some bacon cheese fries. The food was awesome and the sodas were good. The pickle bar was also interesting. 4 star rating overall because the price felt excessive. It was $50+ just for the two of us. It was also a little unclean. The tables felt a little gross and lacked napkins and condiments on some. There were also dead bugs on the tables and window sills.
What a cool place to grab a meal and a drink, especially if you love pickles! We weren't super hungry so we split an order of cheese fries and a patty melt. Both were really good! My husband pointed out the pickle bar by the wall so I got to try a few. My favorite is the sweet and spicy. I ordered a mule which was great on a hot day, but it's worth mentioning that they're limited on spirit selection. The staff was friendly and helpful.
As Twisted Roots go, this is a solid B+. I liked but didn’t love the food (the burger was a little dry and the fried pickles too greasy), and the restaurant needs better AC to help customers survive the whole “Backyard” vibe in this little collection of Mansfield restaurants. However, the staff are fantastic and the Oreo shake is killer (they know what they’re doing and just dump giant Oreo chunks that pool at the bottom).
Came here for a business luncheon for the recommendation of one of the guys I was going with. It is a pretty cool spot. I’m not from Texas so anytime I walk into place and there’s blue heads on the wall. That’s always pretty cool in my book. I guess the vibe and look and feel here are typical Texas program is pretty good little thin, but it was at goat cheese, bacon, jam, “gosh jam it” which I’m sure is probably not the most popular burger on the menu, but it was appealing to me and it was really good. I really like the fact that they have self help pickles which I had their atomic I have to say I was a little disappointed. I definitely like hot stuff and in my opinion these hot atomic pickles were mild at best but the place overall was good. The food was good. I had a side salad because I don’t eat a lot of fried foodsand the side salad. I had was really good as well. I’m will definitely go back.

We just went for a quick drink with friends. Peach margarita tasted like it had no peach, cherry limeade needed more cherry & the order drink tasted like pure alcohol. Service was decent. Maybe they had a new bartender?
I like the decor of this Twisted Root. Lots of booths, indoor picnic tables, a center bar and a good size outdoor patio. The burgers were ok. I am not entirely sure but I think they changed their beef patties since they reopened. The burger didn't taste as good as I remember but it has been a couple years since I have been to a Twisted Root. I had the All American Burger which was a beef burger, two slices of American cheese and bacon. It was a decent burger but not exciting enough to want to return when I have a burger craving. My wife had the Millionaire burger which was an open face wagyu beef patty, cheese, bacon, onion strings, mushrooms and a very good beefy, au jus sauce that tasted great. This was their most expensive burger but I didn't taste much different between the regular beef and wagyu patty. We had the bacon cheese jalapeno fries and they were very good. They melt cheddar over fresh cut fries and add perfectly cooked bacon bits over them. The ranch served with them had very good flavor. This would be a good place to go out to have drinks on the patio and maybe order food if you are hungry. I don't think I would go back just for the food. They also don't have my favorite burger anymore which was the blue cheese bacon burger. Overall It just doesn't taste as good as when I started going to the Commerce St location in Dallas 10 yrs ago.
When we first arrived, it seemed like the order taker was on break. We stood at the counter for about 10 minutes before anyone came to help us. We understand that everyone needs a break, so we weren’t too bothered by the wait. Our food came out without any issues and was served promptly. Unfortunately, that’s when the experience took an uncomfortable turn. The bartender (at least I believe he was the bartender) came over to our table and began trying to make conversation while we were clearly in the middle of eating and while our food was still hot. He started promoting a private literary business he was launching for children. We tried to be polite, but instead of picking up on the cues that we wanted to enjoy our meal, he continued to linger around our table. At one point, I looked up and noticed him simply standing nearby and staring at us, which made the situation even more awkward. The restaurant wasn’t crowded, but there were enough people present to make the interaction feel uncomfortable and inappropriate. While the food itself was good, the overall experience was negatively impacted by the staff’s behavior. Unfortunately, because of this, we won’t be returning.
Atmosphere is really cool and lots of attention to the cool details around the restaurant. The locatuon that used to be by SMU was amazing so we decided to try this one, it just wasn't as good as the other one was. I got the All American and a side salad. The burger was greasy and the salad was pretty bad. The fried pickles were soggy and sad. My kid's chicken tenders and fries were by far the best meal on the table. For burgers for a family of 5, $80 was a bit much for the quality we got.
I was excited to try this burger joint It came recommended and endorsed by Guy Fieri. It has to be good. In my opinion it was a fail. I got a turkey burger which I love. It was edible but that was about it. A burger should have mayo, ketchup, onion, tomatoes cheese and mustard. They don't have mayo outside a small packet A big fail for me. The fries are good no problems there. If you advertise craft drinks your fountain should be better equipped. The balance was off and the drink was terrible. The restrooms were dirty and trash all over. Just not my favorite dining experience. They could do better.
Our visit was ok, I wasn’t completely impressed that’s why I’m only giving 3 stars. A) I liked the Pickle Bar but I don’t like that it’s out in the open like that for the public to dig into without any protective shield or sneeze guards. I’ve seen people just leave the lids open, in which bugs and heavenknowswhat can get in. B)The soda fountains were missing labels or they were so rubbed off from constant touch that you wouldn’t know what is on tap. During our visit, the only diabetic friendly drink they had was very low on syrup and none of the crew seemed to care to rectify it. C) I ordered The Millionaire expecting a lot more from the wagyu beef of which it claimed to have been made but instead received a tough flavorless patty. I’m very disappointed at their most if not the most burger on the menu at $16.50 - I’ve had way better burgers for less money. D) The original cheese fries were good. The place was busy, I give them that; but I’ve read other reviews of disappointment here to which the owner responded that “staff was busy that day” (I’m paraphrasing) excusing the low quality and lackluster service. If the busy-ness of the staff prevents them from maintaining good quality and is causing for other things about the establishment to suffer then maybe it’s time to take a closer look certain business workflows. I have seen many other businesses that can easily handle the hecticness and still provide great service and a good product. It was nice to try this place just for the sake of having tried it but it was not worth the price nor the drive.
Not as good as it used to be. Very greasy burger with little flavor and fries were overly salty.

When my order came I informed my server it was missing the chicken I had ordered on top. She took my salad away and came back a couple minutes later and told me that she had wrung my order in as a salad with no chicken and a soda (I ordered water). She then told me I would have to come to the counter to pay $1.08 to cover the difference. When I said that I think they should just put my chicken on and I shouldn’t need to pay the difference she repeated with an attitude “it’s $1.08”. I don’t mind paying for my meal, but the way the server handled the situation was so rude. It was her mistake. Someone later came and offered to give me something to compensate but I at that point was so put off by the whole thing I didn’t get anything. I will not be returning.
They had the saddest little burgers. Been to a number of Twisted Roots over the last 10 years and usually have been very satisfied. Not so much tonight though. There’s too many good burger places in Mansfield for them to think that they can serve up such a low quality product and get customers to keep coming back.
I saw the great reviews and decided to try. All items have to be purchased individually. Food was ok but I have had better. Fries were greasy , could not enjoy. Out of a few things like ranch pickles, crème soda, bbq, and it was dirty! No one was cleaning up. Bathroom smelled like weed and they were dirty too. We came in around in afternoon. I just felt gross after I left. Definitely will not be back. Spent around 50.00 for 2 burgers, chicken strips, 3 fries and 3 drinks
Got a Build your own Bison burger with Lettuce, tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms and Onions. Got raw onions but they fixed it after I went up to the counter. (no biggie) When our order was called one of the girls offered to help but she left the food after I took 3 trays to our table. (So why offer to help if I’m going back for the rest.) 30 min wait was worth it because the burgers were delicious but the tea that ran out was 20min to brew and tasted like Soup and tea mixed together, That’s really why I’m giving it the rating what I’ve given it. I’ve been to Twisted Root in Athens and that one blows dust to this location. I feel because the bar is in the middle it’s a really loud environment but overall was horrible, you just have to talk loud. Don’t think I’ll come back to this location because of service, tea and the overall loudness of it where they can’t hear the orders. If you do come I recommend the bison 🤘🏼
Overpriced and not good. Girls playing with the hair while doing prep. I told them they were out of cream soda and the said "I know, I'll put a sign up to make you feel better

The service is way to slow and the quality has fallen to second rate… unfortunately may not last to long…………………………………..
First time here. Very disappointed… burgers were not fresh. Precooked :(. Bland no flavor. If this is your tastebuds then this is the place for a bland burger.
We’ve been here before and it was great. Today was different. While the food was still good the service was bad. The guy that took our order was very unfriendly. The place was dirty. There were not many people there but all of the open tables were all dirty. They were out of the pickles that we wanted. And out of containers to put the pickles in. We went to 3 empty tables before we found one with ketchup that wasn’t empty. Not worth the money.
Placed an online order for Saturday pick up 7:50pm, got to the counter at 7:50pm, left with food at 8:32pm. We were more hungry at that point and ate there instead, but the food was served warm at best and tasted okay, not taking into account our taste of disappointment in the experience. Observations in the 42 minutes of waiting: * Tickets being printed (orders placed online and in person) were printing faster than they can serve food (shown in photo) * At least 6 burgers (shown in photo) were thrown away after sitting for at least 15 minutes. They had buns, meat and cheese plated but were waiting on toppings. Toppings didn't arrive so into the trash bin it went * The person calling out orders was doing the best she could, not sure how she manages to keep her sanity if this was a typical night * A cup of seasoning for fries was handled by hand with gloves to sprinkle them onto fries, imagine what those other gloves have touched in the chaos. Once in awhile, I saw the seasoning in a shaker being used * Other people who placed online orders had lined up behind us, frequently asked about their orders and got 15 to 30 minute estimates * 3 of the pickle barrels were empty * Some of the staff were working hard to keep everything moving, so their efforts haven't gone unnoticed Seemed like someone in charge should have identified that there was a process issue and should have adjusted to the situation accordingly. One could say they were short staffed, or someone wasn't pulling their slack in their responsibilities, but we as customers don't have all of the information to make that conclusion. Serving food hot to customers should be an improvement in itself, being on time would be pretty good, both would be great!
First time trying this location and was not impressed. I had a BYOB with medium beef patty, runny egg, pickles, bacon, pepper jack cheese and tomato. The beef patty had zero flavor, honestly reminded me of a school burger. The egg was not runny at all, bacon was good though and the fries. My gf had the Freshman 15 and said the same about the patty and her egg was not runny as well. Highly doubt I will return.
Possibly the worst meal I ever purchased, $50 for a tiny terrible burger and a pound of cinnamon is a shake? We literally had to stop at a DQ to eat after paying Twisted Root $50 for uneatable food.
All good things come to an end, from a great place to poor quality and over priced. My husband and I ordered a cheeseburger to share, fries, onion rings and 2 beverages, $37.00. Cheeseburger arrived it was raw, okay it happens, but to be grilled about how I needed to order it well done was surprising, as long as I've eaten here I've never been served a raw burger. 15 minutes later we had another burger. While we waited we ate the onion rings, always a win, but would have been better with the burger. When our burger arrived, we cut it in half, all it was was a meat patty, cheese questionable if it was real cheese it didn't even cover the patty, one sliver of what appeared to be a tomato, that's it. No lettuce, no onion, no fresh fries.....just BAD. Unfortunately I'm not able to share the picture of what was worse than a middle school lunch. We just ate some really expensive onion rings and left. 😕
Wow is all I can say. Tried this location before with issues but decided to give it another chance. Never will we come to this location again. Arlington is far better. Empty restaurant and employees just standing around. 1 guy picked up a to go order before us and his order had issues and they told him manager was gone to restroom so he just left. Set at bar to get drinks after ordering food. Took forever to get service, forget about getting another drink because everyone was hiding in the kitchen meanwhile the place was filthy. Counted at least 8 dirty tables. About halfway done eating 2 employees came to bar and just started doing nothing about complaining about other employees and how they couldn't poor drinks properly. Well excuse me ma'am you couldn't even take our 1st drink order in a time manner much less another round. Definitely will not be back. Better service at McDonald's and far cheaper.
Smelled really good but waited a really long time for old greasy food. And then when we went to informe them that we didn’t receive the ranch that was supposed to come with cheese bites. They said we had to pay .75 per ranch. My husband the went and talked with them and they were like oh you didn’t get them. And finally gave us them.
Came July 14 at 3:00pm Restaurant was completely empty - staff was a bit short and rude. Not a welcoming/inviting experience in the slightest. Food was abhorrent at best. Fries were soggy, cold and grease laden. Melted cheese on top was just a large congealed piece of lard reminiscent of a bad joke at a public school. Burgers reminded us of airplane food. Find it more deplorable that management doesn’t respond to any of their reviews on here. I’d want a pulse on my customers feedback. Tip screen starts at 25%…. 40$ for two burgers and some fries…. You can’t even pay people to eat this. We’ve been coming off and on to various locations for a few years now. Definitely a hard pass for us now. Can eat out of trash cans with less attitude and better food.
I do not recommend this restaurant for anyone. The service was horrible and the food was subpar. The location is great and the restaurant has a nice vibe, but the management of this location is poor. The person who took our order had on sunglasses and a do-rag on his head. I ordered the vegan burger and sub lettuce for the bun. They fried the homemade patty, which I did not appreciate. On a good note, the pickles were good.
