Great food at a good price. Read reviews before I went and they were right. Some of the best Mexican food I ever had. Portions were large and we all left full.

I have tried a lot of Mexican places but this one takes the crown. Impeccable taste, great presentation, even the décor is so authentic. I had the chile relleano and my wife had the vegetarian tacos, both tasted great. If you are in the mood for some refreshing snack, try their esquites - mouth melting corn with vibrant flavors. Pleasant vibe with a smiling crew and a quite atmosphere. Will definitely return for more.

Chips and salsa came out fast and tasted amazing. Similar to the main course excellent tasting with no left overs. Horchata is amazing too. The service was great! Fast to be seated with a friendly service. Side note they don't have a liquor license so no tequila but they have beer and wine.

I came in for the first time with my best friend and her baby, and the service was so friendly, fast and reliable! The food was as delicious as it was beautifully presented to us as well. We had a wonderful time as well, and felt so taken care of by the staff, who introduced themselves to us (and the baby, haha) made sure we were taken care for. We will definitely be back soon!

Order the guacamole because it’s the best in the area. I had the chile relleno and added chicken. Delicious!!! My drink of choice was the horchata and it complimented the taste of my meal. Dessert was the churros with coffee. A lovely way to end a terrific meal. The kitchen staff do a fantastic job. The front staff are super friendly and easy to talk to which added to my pleasant experience. You really need to try Mi Casita.

Finally great authentic Mexican Cuisine. Had breakfast Huevos Rancheros and Chilaquiles, Horchata was so delicious. Staff was friendly and clean restaurant and spacious seating. A must try. Brunch Saturday here we come.

Absolutely loved the attention and superb food. Quality takes center stage at this restaurant. José Moran, José Moreno and Alexandra Torres go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and very approachable.

Last night, Mi Casita did dinner for 30 guests of ours for a pre wedding family dinner in advance of our daughter’s marriage today. Alexandra, one of the owners, could not have been more generous and welcoming. Everyone ordered from the menu and our guests were enthusiastically complimentary. Many said their meal was the best Mexican food they’ve ever had. The room was beautiful and our guests all felt valued. The food was highest quality and authentic. Of particular note: their shrimp dishes are among the best shrimp I’ve seen in any kind of restaurant: perfectly done, not rubbery or dry. The roasted corn appetizer was a complete hit, flavorful and fresh. Burritos were also full, large and full of complex flavors. The berria also exceptional. Atmosphere is warm, pretty and comfortable and staff was great esp given the challenges of a large group. Three Martinez residents praised this restaurant, calling it their favorite and praising our decision to host the group there. Great food, great service and great value! Thanks Mi Cassita for a memorable night!

Stopped by randomly the other day and never knew it existed! This place is nestled in Martinez. The food is absolutely delicious! You will understand why they were recognized for best Mexican restaurant in just a short 3 months since their opening. We had the Al Pastor and Birria burritos, the tamales and corn and oh my goodness they were amazing.The rice and beans also amazing.👌They know what they’re doing and I will be back for sure whenever I head that way again!

We doordashed some food from this place, having never been there before. And I have to say we were very impressed! The presentation, the quality of the ingredients, and most importantly the flavors were excellent! I live within the general area, and have tried probably every Mexican restaurant in the Concord, Pleasant Hill and Martinez areas. Born and raised in this area, and am now retired. We love us some Mexican food, LOL. I wish I would have taken photos. But I wasn't expecting to be surprised so much. We will order again soon, and I'll definitely take some photos to post up. I don't write a lot of reviews, but thought this place kind of breaking the mold, it deserves a shout out. Good job folks!

My respect for the chef, the waiters and overall the restaurant! Food was amazing and so aesthetically pleasing. I’ve never had the chef come out to welcome us and made sure we were all comfortable and enjoying our meals. Amazing restaurant! The waitress were so attentive and friendly. This Tortilla soup is the Boooomb!. I have had many soups in the area and this ones flavor is perfect! Plus you get fresh avocado, lime and chips on the side.

Festive, but way too greasy. Oil ran out of the tacos. Very little veggies on plates. Mole sauce was flat. Not worth the extra calories.

Service was decent and quick but the food was subpar and mediocre at best. They also don't have a liquor license yet and don't have beer. I ordered the chili verde plate which was pretty expensive and barely came with any chili verde. It was mostly sauce and only enough pork to make two small street size tacos. The flour tortillas also tasted strange and we're really chewy. Not homemade and also not good. The rice and beans were okay but not great. Once they get beer and if they start making their own homemade tortillas or get a different supplier, and give a better proportion for large plates this might deserve three or four stars. I was actually looking for the Don Chai taqueria which is right next door but pulled into Mi Casita instead and thought to give it a shot. Was pretty disappointed. The following week I ended up going to Don Chai which has awesome tacos and superior food.
