My husband and I reached out to Mendon 64 to inquire about hosting our rehearsal dinner there. From the get go, Bridget and Hilary were kind, accommodating, and professional. They bent over backwards to make sure we had a perfect evening with our families and closest friends. We utilized their beautiful patio area for cocktail hour and then moved indoors for our delicious dinners. They were right on schedule and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way! Everyone raved about the food and service. I highly recommend hosting your next event there or even stopping by for your next dinner date. It is a gem in the Rochester area!

We made a reservation for our two year anniversary and everything was phenomenal! All who knew wished us a happy anniversary. Staff was incredible and the food was even better. Perfect portions, reasonable pricing, and outstanding flavors. If you're ever in town, I strongly recommend stopping in for a bite!

We really liked Mendon 64! We had a hard time finding the door since there wasn't a sign out front, but we eventually found it! The inside was super cute, for an older school restaurant, but it did smell like must in there. Next time I'd probably eat outside since they have a very cute outdoor area. The lobster egg rolls were the star! They weren't overly fried and you could clearly taste the lobster inside. They were so flavorful and clearly made in house. It came with two delicious dipping sauces but the egg rolls themselves were very moist. The homemade gnocchi was very good! The pad Thai was definitely not authentic, so I would probably order something else next time, but maybe if they labelled it asian noodle stir fry that would be more realistic, since it was still pretty good. The service was on point and the food came out very fast!

Took the family here to celebrate graduation. I cannot recommend this place enough. Quirky and quaint. Very nice atmosphere. Attentive servers. It was completely full but our server was like a duck. I would have given the food 5 stars but my Kobe beef came pre salted 😔 I would definitely come again. The draft beer list is excellent and they have creative cocktails.

I was looking forward to the lobster egg rolls since the reviews sounded good but they were disappointing. Crunchy on the outside but pretty flavorless on the inside. The dipping sauces helped save them. I had the Sheppard pie special which was good but my wife ordered the striped bass. Full of bones which they should have warned her about and her asparagus was very overcooked.

Went here on Valentines day for dinner. They had a special menu that evening and the food was delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff was attentive and friendly. It was an enjoyable experience.

Maybe an unfair review to a standard night, but there was a large party (3/4 of the dining room) that made it very difficult to hear, bar was backed up...drinks didn't come until after we finished appetizers. Wait staff was slow (although the party was a buffet, so I don't think they were distracted by that). Took 15 mins to be seated (we had a reservation, table was available but not set...had to wait for them to find glasses and silverware, another 10 minutes seated before waitress came over). Food was very unconventional....sweet red peppers in pad Thai? Pork shank special was tasty. Had we been informed there was a large party taking over most of the restaurant we would have tried a different night.

The bartender who is also apparently the owner or bar manager was extremely rude. She grabbed the specialty drink menu out of my hand and crumpled it in my face. She was direspectful to every single person in our party simply because it was busy. Every time anyone asked for anything it was met with an eye roll. Waited 20 minutes everytime we ordered and half the time she forgot what our order was. Do not recommend this business if you have a larger party or if you want to order more than one specialty cocktail or if you want to have a good experience whatsoever

we had a party here and the service was horrible, we paid so much for party that didn’t have enough food, or seating to hold family. we noted a severe food allergy to seafood, we never ordered any and they brought out a seafood dish. not to mention that half of the food that we did order didn’t end up coming. we had to request more seating and table space because the space “reserved” for us was far too small. probably not a bad place to go out to eat with a smaller group but parties seem to be held often here and ours didn’t go the way we had planned at all.
