Awesome food and atmosphere!! The staff is very welcoming and the food is amazing. I personally love the burritos especially. If anyone complains about the price, they are likely just stingy in all honesty because the prices are rather reasonable. Also I see people saying Del Taco is better which is so random first of all and a total lie because I have lived in the area for 10 years and can wholeheartedly say that the Del Taco service is mediocre at best and food is bland.

Being Mexican, Chronic Tacos surprised me. I don’t have high expectations for places like these but wow. The rice, beans, and carne asada was BOMB and tasted like great quality. The salsas are fire too!!! I love spice. Plus they have great happy hour deals. Amberly helped me out and made it a great experience, answered all my questions and packed the food. For sure coming back.

I got Chronic Tacos take-out a week ago. It was a really good experience! And the food was pretty tasty. It was my first time there and I eat plant-based so I had to ask the cashier what the options were. He was patient and happy to explain. He also mentioned the rice was made with chicken broth but I could sub out a side of beans which are vegan... for free. Always a plus! I got the beyond beef tacos with veggies and a side of black beans and refried beans (combo comes with two sides) Initially I thought the price was kinda high at a lil over $13 for a taco combo, but the 2 tacos were pretty big with two corn tortillas each and the sides with pretty generous. Lasted me two meals. I got my food pretty quickly...I also stopped by the new Sprouts to pick up some really yummy vegan sour cream... taste like the real stuff! 😋 Will definitely go again to both!

Each bite sends me on a flavor-packed journey I never want to end. The fish is cooked to perfection, nestled in a cozy tortilla blanket, and seasoned with what I can only assume is a blend of magic spices. I keep telling myself, "Just one more," but who am I kidding? It's a delicious cycle I'm not looking to break anytime soon. We were greeted as soon as we stepped in and asked if it was our first time. "Yes, it was" and, we were thanked for choosing them then told how the menu 'worked'. Everyone we encountered was friendly. It is a great spot. Food tasted really fresh and delicious. I think it was a good amount of food for the price we paid. Not too expensive. Nice spot for family, friends or a date. I got the 2 Taco plate...1 carnitas and 1 carne asada. Very good! The rice and beans had the perfect seasoning. I'm happy. Will go back again!

Everything at this place is great. I think it's much better than Chipotle, and even cheaper in price, though they actually have Mexican food. The only thing that really disappoints me is the paper straw, I really can't stand the paper getting soggy in my cup of soda. But overall, I still give this place a 5 star. The workers seem happier than most other places, like the Chipotle in Hemet. I like where everyone smiles, and greets me like they're greeting me, and not yelling across the place, as so many establishments feel the need to do.

Tacos were so full that they were busting as we picked them up (good thing imo). Plenty of meat and beans on the fries. I also loved that the alcohol was by the ounce. I loaded up a card and basically had my own flight. Definitely plan to go back... Made me think of Chipotle in some of the style and options but much better. Staff came by to check in. Very nice and professional. Fun place and got to watch some sports too.

I am not a newcomer to Chronic Tacos, I have eaten their food from several southland locations over the years, including Anaheim Stadium when I want a prepared to order meal before a baseball game. Tonight I wanted a carnitas burrito for dinner and they built a great burrito. It won't let me upload the picture due to the restriction of using Google Photos, which I do not use. But when I got it home I weighed it, and it it was 24 ounces - a pound and 1/2. I enjoyed every bite of it!

Ordered a potato taco (mashed potato with cheese) & a Mindful Chik'n taco (plant based). Both were delicious & wonderful options for vegetarians. Husband ordered a large California burrito. He said it would have been better if it wasn't cold & they weren't so cheap on the carne.. cheese was not melted or warm, at all & tortilla was cold too. The salsas were delicious & portions were generous.. we'll definitely order from here again, but maybe try the small cali burrito instead.

I went to eat in Menifee! Service was excellent. I had the two chicken soft tacos,beans,rice and black beans. The tacos were good. But the black beans were half raw. The Spanish rice was dry and hardly had any flavor. I visited on 10/ 8/23. I wanted to add that I was very impressed with a worker named Teri. She is amazing and always makes you feel welcome. I look forward to seeing her when I come in. She is a keeper for sure!

Wish they had a dedicated area for picking up take out orders. They don't call out orders when they're ready, so you're at the mercy of waiting and asking every time there's a bag behind the counter. It's also generally a bit slow (orders often aren't ready at the 'promised' time). Food is decent, but the service/experience leaves something to be desired.

We’ve been like three times in this store. The food is delicious no doubt, our usual is always carne asada quesadilla, but when we ordered to go the fourth time, it was more like plain cheese quesadilla instead of “carne asada” quesadilla. They put a little bit of of meat and lots of cheese. So.. its delicious but i think they don’t do orders the same.

The workers were polite and quick, spanish rice was dry as hell, carne asada was dry as hell. burrito overall was a 5/10 :/

Food is super tasty, but the beer machine wall was not working. One of the employees said it hasn't worked in awhile. If it ever gets fixed, I would deffintly come by more often, have tons of drinks, and change this review.

Food is good if you order the right thing but the smell is NAUSIATING! They must share vents with the nail salon next door or something because it reeks of nail polish remover. Couldn’t stomach my food because of the smell. Won’t go back until it’s fixed.

Wait time super slow waited almost an hour to make my food the manager used the same gloves to work on cash register then took someone wrong order 4 different plates back then went & continued to make someone else food with same gloves. So Over priced need more training ppl worked there were lost had no clue on how do take orders correctly. Ordered a side of chips & salsa $3.25 there was 5 chips in the bag the amount of meat they put in the orders is ridiculously small order of side of beans and rice was not even half full in the container so disappointed they need major major improvements. They might be doing good as they just opened but will not last if they keep going this way.

Worst Chronic Tacos we've been to. They made us build our bowl at the register instead of along the line. Got my order wrong and the food is super sour and spicy. Management: Quit apologizing and go visit OC locations so you can see how your restaurant should be run.

My first time ordering from this establishment. I ordered on the website. I paid extra for beyond beef. I didn't receive what I pd xtra for. I ordered the chronic fries. I immediately called the restaurant and tried to have them make it right. I called 3x and I had to leave a message. I reached out to the headquarters and still no answer. I received a return email that someone would contact me shortly. I still haven't received a call as of yet. I also sent pictures of my food when I opened it. Not too happy with this being my 1st time dining here. I also ordered a potato taco with fajita veggies. That was really good. I will try and order from here again. I definitely want my previous order compensated.

I asked for that but the girl said that they didn't offer it. There was no way to ring that up. She could have obviously rang up another kid's menu item since they were the same price but no, I had to pay for the full adult burrito bowl. My son only ate like 1/4 of it and the rest was wasted.

First and last time eating at this or any other Chronic Tacos and it was absolutely disgusting and way overpriced for the poor quality of food. Got the two taco plate with pastor tacos street style which should have been lime, onions and cilantro but there was no lime, the onions were huge and the pastor was disgusting. The plate came with rice and beans which the beans were straight up canned Rosarita's and the lime rice was old rice reheated that didn't taste like even a hint of lime. I got a side of baja sauce to try and it was sour, almost made me vomit. Got 4 a la carte pollo asado tacos street style; again no lime and huge onions. They were better than the pastor but still not very good. Hubby got an asada burrito bowl, asada was dry and not even asada it was really thick steak cut into bite size pieces.

Horrible experience. WE typically love Chronic Taco, we were counting down the days for the Menifee location to open since we moved to Temecula last year. We frequently visited the Corona and Newport Beach locations and never had a bad experience. The cashier never even looked up at me while taking my order, she managed to get two carne burritos COMPLETELY wrong. Everything we didn’t want in them was in them x2! The burrito was folded so weird and it was like there was no taste or no seasoning to the meat.. our order was to go and when I asked the guy giving it to me if he could put extra salsa in there, he said.. “I hooked you up”. As I’m walking out l, I checked the bag and he gave me ONE. One freaking hot sauce for two burritos!! Really?!! And they forgot my chips and salsa and taco, which I completely forgot about until I was getting on the freeway. I don’t like leaving reviews like this, but there were just too many things that went wrong with this experience. This is not Chronic Taco quality of food or service. We will not be returning to this location.

Got 3 surf and turf burritos for me and my buddies, I'd say they were about 90% rice, and we found a bunch of raw rice in the burritos. It's like they were running low on cooked rice and instead of waiting for more rice to be cooked they just dumped a bunch of uncooked raw rice into the cooked rice, absolutely disgusting. they got my brothers order wrong and he had to go back and wait in an hour+ line. We literally had to open the burritos up and pick the few scraps of meat we could find. Probably pulled about 6 shrimps out of three full "surf" and turf burritos. We were incredibly disappointed. Hope this place gets better, right now it's not worth even looking at as you drive past it.

I was really excited to try this place thinking we would have some more authentic Mexican food choices. I can't explain how dissapointed we were. The beans tasted like they were from a can. The rice didn't have much flavor at all my 1year old wouldn't even touch it and he loves rice and beans. The Carne aside was really big chunks and didn't have much flavor at all. Worst Place to Visit! During my recent visit, both cooks didn't have their masks covering their face correctly. The manager there seemed oblivious to what was going on with his cooking staff. Covid is still here and can still spread, it's Negligent of the Management to have employees working like this and serving & cooking food is appalling. After I brought it to the Manager's attention one worker still didn't have the mask covering his face. I didn't eat the Food I threw it Out & Got Something Else from another place. I've eaten here several times before. However, going through this experience today has forever soured my taste with Chronic Tacos. Ps. It's not all that its bland food seasoned with a ton of lime juice. Get Your Management on Board with Covid Guidelines. I also plan on reporting this to the Environmental Health Department.

I’m a vegan desperate for variety . I got the beyond beef taco and vegetarian taco Baja style and street style. Long wait for two tacos but I understand new businesses come with a wait. Now for the taste tacos are always ruined if the tortillas aren’t Authentic which they are not. Next the fajita was just onion an green bell smothered in salsa nothing special they didn’t even try how sad! With barley any in the taco itself. And for the price. They might have messed up idk Next the beyond taco was good but salty del taco is better. Won’t come back

Very disappointing. My husband never complains to me about food, but he did this time. He said the chronic fries tasted like tap water. The flavor is definitely not there.

Not worth the price, 2 shrimp tacos come with 4 small shrimp inside, sauces are not a available , the sauce that comes inside is barely noticeable, the tacos are not bad tasting but they are not good either, next time I will rather but then at a taco shop less expensive and more food for the price.

One of the California Burritos was ordered with meat, fries and cheese only and literally was half the size of the other one! You think they would add more meat/cheese/fries for $12.25. I wish I had a picture! This place is a bust, Alberto’s and Jilberto’s are a huge step above this place. They won’t be around long with these prices and portion sizes.

Went for my first time ever at chronic tacos. I won't ever be back. Restaurant is set up backwards, I don't know why, but it is. I had wait 20 minutes to get take out with 7-8 staff members, so staffing wasn't the issue. Got the food and the it was so cold that I had to reheat in the microwave. Just gross, I really did not like how cold it was. My cheese wasn't even melted. I won't be back, there are better options in town. Just a terrible experience all together. I just wish I had something better to say, usually I can find the good, but the food speaks for itself. 🤢

One burrito we asked for light beans, the burrito was literally 55% smaller than the same order without asking for less beans. Too much over cooked soft (too much water) in burrito rice. Everything was mushy. Burritos were cold. I feel like the meats were shipped in frozen. Definitely not grilled there. This place is real bad. Sad because it seems new. They need management to step up.
